High Blood Pressure at Applebee's

Most of the foods served at Applebee's restaurants are high in sodium. Unless you are visiting the restaurant or dining here in the group, there are hardly any options from the main meals if you wish to keep your blood pressure in check. You can rely on a few salad options though. If lucky, you may find low-sodium ribs as well at the restaurant.

Foods to Avoid at Applebee's for High Blood Pressure

Avoid Green Goddess Wedge at Applebee's. Broccoli Cheese Soup and French Onion Soup contain over 1000mg sodium and hence must be skipped as well. Skip all the chicken dishes and seafood at Applebee's except Grilled Chicken Breast and Baked Haddock without sides respectively. You must also skip Brunch Burger, Quesadilla Burger, Triple Bacon Burger, and Whiskey Bacon Burger at Applebee's. High sodium intake can be lethal for a high blood pressure candidate. Avoid ordering foods that contain over 1000mg sodium at Applebee's, especially if you're dining alone.

High Cholesterol at Applebee's

Well, steaks and ribs go hand in hand with cholesterol. Being their signature dish, it will be a challenge to find low-calorie, healthy food for those concerned with their cholesterol levels. However, you can always opt for their salads and other light foods to keep the cholesterol in check.

Foods to Avoid at Applebee's for High Cholesterol

If you have high cholesterol, then you must avoid eating sandwiches, wraps, and tacos at Applebee's. While the salads and soups sound healthy, you must skip the Fiesta Chopped Salad and Loaded Potato Soup at Applebee's. It is also advised to dodge the Three Cheese Chicken Penne and Chicken Fajita Rollup. Any main meal with over 100mg cholesterol is not idle for someone with high cholesterol. Restaurant was empty when we went.sat down waiter never came.when he finally did and took our orders he dissappear again.food finally arrived everyone had hamburgers I made the mistake of ordering meat .it was disgusting. The meat was chewy nasty. Great place for drinking not eating. The refills to my sons fries never arrived. I can see why no one eats here. Wait staff here is bad.

Got the 2 for $20. It can with an appretizer, which I got the onion rings. It's was not as great as I expected it to me. The onion inside was hard to chew apart and the flour crust tasted of only fried oil. Like it was soaked in frying oil. The three cheese chicken pannee pasta was a bit better. Didn't like the taste of the tomatoes, was a bit raw. The chicken was well cooked through and tender when chewing. Pasta was obviously plain but mixing it with the melted cheese made up for it. The waiter, Max, was kind and energetic. A few minutes after the host brought us to our seats, the waiter came in to get our orders for the drinks. The utensils (forks and knives) had the dirty clear whitish stain on them. I just cleaned them over again with a wet napkin. I saw a tiny ant come out from under the napkins, freaked out, killed it, and asked to be moved to another table. As my first time of going to any Applebee's, it was not my best impression of the food franchise. The entrée was okay but the appetizer was not a good first impression. The fact that there was an ant on the table tells me that sanitation and cleanliness was not of top priority in this restaurant branch.

ohhhhh how I wish I could give 0 stars! Just threw $55 bucks down the toilet and $7 in pepto - bismol... stay away from this restaurant. I am calling corporate since my family of 3 got sick from eating at this place. when I called the manager to give my feedback all he was focus in was my receipt, did I have my receipt and how much I had spent! dont want a free lunch, dont want to visit your restaurane again.. too many good restaurants in the area to give my business to. Learn to listen to your patrons Harvey, we don't want free food, we expect food done right, plus good customer service.

Corporations will be corporations! The food is lame. Like TGIF, it doesn't taste authentic. The only good thing about my dinner was our waiter who I am proud to say was.... Nice! You don't get a lot of that in Miami ( I can't stress it enough) Didn't catch his name but has tattoos on his arm and pretty hair haha.

I, honestly, don't know how Applebee's is still running. I have ate here around 3-4 times in my life and each time I eat here, I leave SUPER GROGGY. I don't know what they put in their food here, but it can't be any good. Making an educated guess, based on my observations and trials + errors, I'd say the food here is pre-made and frozen... Good service though :)

the 2 for 20.00 menu needs more appetizers & more foods - got the ribs but I had to send it them back they were ice cold - no discounted price. not very good

They have renewed the offer with new plates, I see more salads and low cal options. I tried the chicken freshcado and it was delicious. Today the service was really fast as well. Tip, complete your 2 for 20 with a brownie bite to have a complete great meal for less than 25 for 2, you may also get the 2 4 1 drinks.

This is not a review about the service. The waiter was attentive, fun to talk to and knew all about specials and deals. He passed by frequently, refilled our drinks and brought the food out horrible. No, two stars is because the food sucked. plain and simple. We went for the two for $20 and another "mix and match" lunch special. Our appetizer was the spinach dip, which was consistent with previous times and overall pretty good. The Good: the food my dad ordered (a shrimp linguini and chicken caesar salad) was amazing at an even better price. Portion was generous and he did not leave hungry. The Bad: The riblets are definitely not what they used to be. They were dry and the wrong kind of chewy. getting meat off the bone required physically gnawing on the bone. The Ugly: The steak SUCKED. I have had better steak at Denny's. Before today, I had NEVER returned a plate but I could not eat it. It was gristly, ridiculously fatty for the cut of meat, overcooked in some places and cold in others. When our (really good!) waiter passed by and saw my face, he immediately asked if everything was ok and insisted to take it back. The "new and improved" piece of steak was not much better in terms of fatty nice, but it was at least edible. Applebees has changed their menu, and not in a good way. A good price should not sacrifice quality of food!

We arrived at about 745pm , we were seated immediately in a booth, above us the AC vent. Th restaurant was getting busy I could not move. The AC was blowing so hard the napkins moved. The food came I asked if please the AC could be raised ? The server said he'd speak to the manager. The server was awesome the service was great! If it were not for the awful AC and sing in 40 degree temperature my whole experience would of been nicer.

Well one star is one two many Here you cannot change anything on the menu ( at least according to the waiter) So all plates are fixed , if you don't like an ingredient , guess what tough luck, so jump across to green plate cafe , nice decor, really nice. Seems the food is more real and they would accommodate your preference.

Downgrading to 1 star as I sit on the toilet regretting my last visit here. The food is essentially microwaved leftovers. If it weren't for the 2 for 1 drinks, I think this chain would've closed a long time ago. Just terrible!

This is the worst Applebee's! I was in Miami traveling for business and other than fast food places, Applebee's was the only familiar chain I found. I have always had good experiences with Applebee's in Escondido, CA, so that was my choice for the evening. The hostess told me Frank would be my server and would be right with me. I waited for over 20 -25 min and received NO SERVICE! The hostess, who was busy chatting with other workers finally came by to take my drink order and I saw her tell Frank I was waiting. He went by a nearby table, took their order (and they were seated well after I had arrived). Frank looked me straight in the eye and walked the other way. I cannot ever remember walking out of a restaurant, but I did! I am still furious at the incredibly crappy service and attitude! I know Applebee's is better than this, but how can I just forget this horrible experience! Frank and the Hostess should be fired! Shameful!

The food is horrible! We ordered 3 entrées, the rice was hard, the potatoes were 4 little pieces and the meat in the 3rd entrée was like rotten. The waitress services was like the food, horrible! I will never eat there! BAD RESTAURANT! DON'T GO THERE.

The food here is horrible I had the pasta with chicken and it was super bland and the garlic bread was hard as a rock. My son ordered the steak medium well and got it well done and the mash potatoes where extra lumpy. Never coming here again. The service wasn't the best either. I give it one star just because the TV was on the sports channel.

I wish I could rate something. But we sat down and waited 15 minutes for service. I even took the courtesy to flag down an employee (one who was pacing back in forth looking for something to do). He made eye contact and went to the table in front of us and asked, "is everything okay here?" And then left without coming to our table. So I wish I could rate a service but there wasn't any.

Horrible fucking service, these people here eat shit 24/7. Save yourself time and money and go somewhere else. Even the manager is worthless here esp. The one during lunch. I wish I could give them zero star. Ppl here wanna get paid but not do their job.

Food was okay, the service was on & off. Definitely not consistent, so they need to improve or people will stop coming here.

  • Jason A.

From start to finish, this experience was not worth it. We asked the host for a booth and were informed none was available. We counted 8 booths available and when a second request was made, we were told that they were short on waiters and waitresses and could not accommodate in booth areas. Ordered a salad and an appetizers and both weren't good. Appetizers felt like microwaveable foods including mozzarella sticks, artichoke and some wrapped up mystery meat in a tortilla. After specifically requesting dressing on the side for the salad, the waitresses tells us she's new and didn't know what dressings they had. Requested honey mustard and when the salad came out, zero dressing. Food was not worth the 1 star, staff was playing near the drink and kitchen areas to the point managers called their attention to relax. Maybe next time one of their playful employees could manage a booth area. Surely won't be returning! Chili's where are you...

I come here at least once a week for lunch. It's Applebees but hey this place gets more packed than a strip joint on Christmas Eve. Even though I'm compromising my methods here, you'll definitely benefit. Service. The way I separate chain restaurants is by service. Like I said this place can get packed quick during lunch so I recommend you come before noon. What I normally do is sit at the bar, I get the food and the service I want. Watch out for the young lady with spectacles, she's a charmer and a terrific bartender. Food. Same as any Applebees....but if you come during lunch you can get the soup and salad special. Bottomless soup and salad for 8 bucks. I normally get the grilled chicken ceasar and the chili. Atmosphere. Lunch is filled with people looking to get away from the office. If you got a little bit of game you can definitely strike up a conversation with a lassie about how you just bench pressed 165 lbs.... Overall a good spot to grab a bite, just come early for lunch.

  • Frank E.

Service here is consistently bad, the food is as predictable as one would expect from an Applebee's but the service... I don't get it, every time, its terrible... and so very slow... even when the place isn't busy?

  • Antonio A.

Came here looking for a late night dinner and drinks. It took forever to sort through the menu. It's overly complicated. I'd like to see a few simple items on it. Every single item had at least one ingredient I could not eat or did not like. I opted for a straightforward sirloin steak with double veggies. SURPRISINGLY, my sirloin steak was juicy and perfectly cooked but my veggies were smothered in some sort of fat. BARF. Besides the steak, everything else was meh. Drinks were okay. 2x1 draft beers, margaritas, long islands, and wells. Service was slowwwww. I can't tell if he was neglecting us on purpose or just really forgetful. Either way, he wasn't nice. If the service had been a little better I'd possibly consider returning for the drink specials. As it stands, I'd come here if I have no where else to go.

Next time I'll get a table instead of at the bar, since I had the fortune to sit smack dab between two conspiracy theorists deep in an argument. Other than that, I ordered the half rack of riblets while watching one of the NBA playoff games going on their multiple TV's. My bartender was friendly, making time to chat with ALL of the patrons including the conspiracy guys, and soda refills were on point. The BBQ sauce was a pleasant balance of spicy and sweet, and the fries were just the right temperature and un-greasy. While the ribs were seasoned with plenty of a honey BBQ sauce (according to the menu) and warm, the meat was a little tough and I felt more meat stayed in the rib than in my belly. Picky, I know, but I like my ribs tender and falling off the bone. Because the service was friendly, and a little bit faster than the other Applebee's I frequent, I plan to stop by again. Maybe by making the changes noted I can make this 5 stars...

I felt bad for the manager that was working the floor that night. Working so hard and fast and all the employees doing nothing. No I'm wrong... I was sitting at a table really close to their side station and all they did was complaint about their guests and how bad they hated the place and wanted to go home. It was so bad that's the reason our mood changed and wanted to go home soo fast. The food is whatever but the service omg. One server told the host in the middle of the dinning room... " don't sit me anymore!!" Wow....

From the beginning I had a feeling this was not going to be good. The waiter was not very nice, no friendly smile or pleasant introduction. Took some time to get our order in place. Appetizer was brought to the table but no silverware or plates. The food was mediocre at best but the server did not even once stop by to check up on us. I felt so upset that I left him a lousy tip of 10% which I never had done before. And to top it off before we are getting to leave, I noticed there was ants coming out of the wooden base wall near our table. I told the manager and he down played it that they were working on the problem. I will never go back

I decided to go to Apple bees after recovering from a nasty stomach infection. I have been a massive eater of fast foods and after this stomach issue, my stomach refuses to deal with processed foods. So I have been eating healthy and at quality restaurants. I had went to Outback Steak House and loveeeeddddd it. So I decided to try Apple bees to compare. OH BOY, where do I begin. First when walking in, you are met with by group of girls that seem to be flustered (I guess because of the dinner rush). Some look professional and others look like chingas that you would see on a 8th street corner. i went with a friend and so I needed a table for 2. The waitress guides me to the table, passes a cleaned table for 2 and seats me at a table for 4. So I tell my friend, how illogical, why sit us at a table of 4 and prevent a future family of 4 from siting. So then I notice I'm am stepping on something, I look under the table and its filled with dirt, debris, crayons, napkins, almost everything but the kitchen sink. So the waiter comes over, asks for drinks, which was brought to us by some other random waiter. My friend ordered a Martini which seemed to take forever. We placed our order and he brought us silver wear. I unwrap it and all utensils are soiled. I mean soiled.... It was so disgusting. I immediately flipped out and was so speechless that my friend had to have them bring us plastic, since those are sealed and do not have to worry about them not being cleaned. Finally we get our appetizer and it was awesome. We then get our food, but because we ordered steaks, we couldn't cut them with plastic, so I had to demand a proper cleaned knife. Which i got but with slight attitude. The greens where good, mash potatoes good, but the steak.... um well.... its the first of its kind I have ever ate. It was very very smushy. Had an OK taste, but I cant imagine Apple bees is know for its great steaks. In the end though I was happy, but not because of the food, cleanliness, wait staff, or anything having to do with Apples bees, but because of the conversation with my friend. He was able to distract me enough that nothing else matters and I think thats how Apple bees is successful. Its a place you can take family and friends and just hang out. The food is just an after thought. I can not recommend this place for anyone going alone. Maybe I'm just picky, but ughhhh, only Outback Steakhouse for me!

I have to give this location 5 stars. If you have ever been to the Applebee's in Cutler Bay, you know why. Let me start off by saying, Applebee's doesn't have the best food in the restaurant business. I think that's pretty well established. But you know, it's cheap so you kinda have to weigh the pros and cons. Our server was a nice guy, quick on his feet and friendly. Our son managed to cry his way into a birthday woman's heart and snagged a Mylar Balloon from her. We had a decent, inexpensive family lunch and went on our way. Here's where my 5 star rating really kicks in. We ate lunch at around 1pm...at around 6:30pm I realize that my phone has been awfully quiet all day so I begin to search for it....not in my purse...not in the car...not on the foyer....not in the couch...not in the room....not in my dining room table...you get the gist. I call it and guess who picks up? The general manager from Applebee's! I had left my iphone on the table and the server turned it in just in case I called or came back. I lost my last iphone around the same time last year. So thank you Applebee's...for saving me $400+ bucks...

On our lunch hour we went to Applebee's for a quick and light lunch. We were in the mood for their fried chicken salad which is, usually pretty good. We are immediately greeted and seated and we have Julian as our server. The place was super cold, so bad that even I was complaining and I like it when it's cold. My husband complained to Julian about the cold and asked him to please send the manager. In a few minutes the manager came and said "it should warm up in a few minutes, we turned off the a/c on this section"...it was like WOW, that is awesome! So we place our order of a combination of soup and half a salad they are serving now. Our food arrives in just a few minutes and OMG, I think they forgot that it was supposed to be HALF a salad cause that looked more like a side salad than what it was supposed to be. So, meh...the service was good, the place was too cold, the soups were nice and warm and the salad was almost not there. Not terrible but not good either...it was just "meh"

Nothing is more fun than going out for happy hour with a friend or two. Especially after a particularly hard day at work. Well 3 of us had that day and decided to go for happy hour to this place. All I can say is wow.. Wow in a good way?? No. Very, very bad. How can a half empty place seethe with so much apathy? In all fairness, we did not eat so I am not rating the food. It did take them 1/2 hour - after we stopped two people to ask for a waiter and a manager, to take our drink order. The drinks were terrible. Oh, and we didn't get those for another 20 minutes after ordering. Based on such bad service on a slow day, I wouldn't recommend it for any reason.

Food was exactly how you'd expect it, perfect if you've had enough of the Latin culinary scene and are just craving some American. I had a nice time with the family here except for the long wait and the freezing temperatures inside. Staff was nice though and dessert was awesome.

I really enjoy coming here, in fact, I'm here maybe 3-4 times a month! I always sit at the bar because I love the quick attention whether it's for an appetizer, or a drink! But I've sat in their booths before and they are really good with their service! The bartenders are really nice, specially Alexandra!!!! She's awesome! The prices here are UNBELIEVABLE!!!! You can't beat 2 for 1 specials and 2 for $20. If you make it out for their "Full Moon" nights, it's half off appetizers and drinks. On some Wednesdays they have live Karaoke night and it's a good entertainment. I really recommend this place to anyone who's on a budget, but wants a good time!

We have visited this place several times with mixed results, most of them dismal. It so happens that the last time we gave them a chance, they failed miserable. Thus validating our previous impressions. This place is simply blowing their opportunity to capitalize on a good location in a community of spenders and is pushing business over to their competition. The menu is generic which is to be expected from these run of the mill national franchises that offer no value added or signature plates. There is nothing creative here, so their only opportunity to set themselves apart is the simple but elusive to all failing businesses - SERVICE Your experience begins with a lukewarm welcome from a jaded hostess who clearly does not want to be there much less welcome you with a smile. After being ushered to a semi dirty table you will then wait over 10 minutes before your presence is acknowledged by someone who offers to take your drink order and casually mentions that your waiter will be with you shortly. Mind you .. the place is about half empty and the waiters have assistants ... give me a break !!! We place a simple drink order and after more than 10 additional minutes we finally have to asked to see a Manager - for those of you keeping time, we have been in a half empty restaurant for over 20 minutes and the almighty waiter has not made an appearance yet. Finally, the waiter appears and asks details about our drink order ... 10 minutes after we ordered !!! We got our orders almost 10 minutes later ... this 30 minutes total so far and were promptly ignored again. The food is not even worth a mention, you feel taken for a ride... inconvenient, unappetizing, semi cold. You are better simply staying home and opening a can of tuna. This place is simply worth avoiding. When you see Applebees in Doral ... Keep driving there are other fine establishments a few hundred yards further down the road.

applebee's is not for me. this chain has your basic american cuisine: spinach dip, mozzarella sticks, burgers, steaks, salads, etc. took advantage of the 2 for $20 deal they have going on, which is a good deal, but the food is just blah. nothing special at all. i had the crunchy shrimp with fries and when i left the restaurant i felt like throwing up. our waiter, don, also failed to tell us that he would charge us extra for the fully loaded mash potato. he went on to lie & say that he did tell us. overall just wasn't pleased with the place or the service. i've become a spoiled yelper & i won't settle for less!

This place feels dirty. Too bad because the blondie dessert is great and the next closest Applebees is too far.

They have two for one draft beer and a decent two for 20 deal on food. We sat at the bar, service was good.

Ok folks if you're looking for a deal on a great meal Applebee's has the "2 for $20" special. This includes a yummy dessert :o) I recommend the Fiesta Chicken Lime with wild rice & the quesadilla burger. (Pretty good size meals for a small price). You can't beat that folks! They also have the very awesome 2 for one happy hour drinks every day. My fav. Margaritas! Another thing that I liked is that they will be hosting a breakfast with Santa on Saturday Dec 12 from 8am - 10:30am. Adult ticket $8 kids under 8 pay $6 kids under 6 are free. You will need to RSVP for this event. All proceeds will go to Make a Wish Foundation. They also have a Kids Birthday Club on line. As a parent I really enjoy going to a location that 1: has great food & drink deals and 2: Are kid / family friendly. Kudos to you Applebee's. You will for sure see the Llorens Family again.

This Applebee's has a serious problem with customer service. The hostess is not friendly and she always sits people in the weirdest places even though the restaurant is half empty. I go her unfortunately once every month. We are a party of 6 or more and they try to sit us in a small cramp table always. I never understand this hostess for doing this the place is EMPTY! The waiters pass by and no one announces themselves as your waiter you are sitting their for like 15 mins and then finally when they arrive they want to take you drink and leave for another 10 mins. Finally by the time we place or order we need refills. But we have learned to wait or else our order will not go in on time. If you order appetizer be prepared to eat it with your dinner cause it comes out at the same time. Forget about any other need cause you will never get the wait to come back they seem to disappear. Arghhh this place needs a new manager or some customer service make over. The food is average but you are so disappointed by the time food gets to you that you just want to leave. For us its always a good 1 1/2 hours at this Applebee's and I'm being generous, oh and of course tip is already included on our bill cause we are a party of 6 or more. The only thing going great for this place is the 2 people eat for $20 and the 2 for one drinks. Apart from that they need a make over.

I hadn't been to this Applebee's in a long time because the last couple of time it was a complete disaster from the moment we walked in. Last night my brother in law suggested we go there after work because they have a especial after 10pm: 2 for 1 drinks and half price on all appetizers. So we went like around 11pm, and it was pretty packed but got seated right away, the server was very friendly and funny, great personality. We had 2-4-1 Margaritas witch were great, cosmos and beer and then... the appetizers, WOW! we had something called Wonton Tacos (Zesty pulled pork stuffed in crispy wonton shells and topped with crunchy Asian slaw and cilantro) , steak towers ( spicy steak with veggies wrapped in a soft tortilla) and the classic artichoke dip. Since I have to always have my dessert i ordered brownie bites, which is great because is like a half of brownie, so rich, and warm topped with vanilla ice cream. It was so unexpected, we had the best time, and our check was like $40, which was crazy for all the stuff we had. After I broke up with Applebees it was a sweet make up.

Mediocre food. This is the worst Applebee's I've been too. The food was cold, was not prepared right (I had ordered a steak medium and got it charred and overcooked) and the serving was lackluster.

The food was great no complaints. The service was exceptional our waitress was very attentive. We had about a 20 minute wait to get a table but it was a Saturday night football playoffs so not bad at all! I had some drinks and they were strong just the way I like it so all in all it was a great night! The steak parmesean shrimp is a must!

I have been to Applebee's about 4 times. Twice for lunch To-Go. Twice to Sit-In. The curb side service is really good. They were quick and service came with smiles. The sit-in, well...not so great especially when you only have one hour. My co-workers and I waited a good 15 minutes for drinks and another 30 minutes to eat. The place was not full. The food was just ok. Mine was a bit cold. But not horrible. The second sit-in was with the hubby. We got there right as happy hour began. Yippee!!! But the soccer game was on...the night was ruined. It took our waiter 20 min. to get our drink orders and another 20 min. to get it to the table. Then 15 min. to take our orders. The appetizer came in 30 min. The meals came 20 min. after that. So I have been here for 1 hr and 45 min. now and guess what?...another 30 minutes to get my check. It's amazing that the waiter could any other task while watching the game. On the other hand...the food was actually really good, maybe cause I was at the brink of starvation when I got it.

I can't say it's the greatest, but it beats going to chilis. Fast seating. The fahitas are awesome and weightwatchers friendly.

We set at the bar counter tonight. There are two servers attending the bar area. Apparently, the guy is new and leaning the business. The girl has to do double duty. Therefore, it takes long time for me to get my drinks. Then we sampled 5 bar snacks for $18. The Sriracha Shrimp (u get about 5 pcs) is mediocre. It is a medium size shrimp but the source is weak. The sweet chili brisket sliders (2 pcs) tastes above average but can use a better bun. The double crunch bone in wings (4 pcs-2 wing and 2 drum sticks) with the buffalo sauce. I would say Hooters wings are better. Green bean crisper is a pretty good way to get some veggies. The best is the sweet potato fries with 3 different kind of sauces. The fries are crispy outside and soft inside. It comes with a plate full which is well worth he money. We also tried their special cocktails - the cider bourbon infusion and the fresh fruit citronade. Both are weak fruity drinks that's good for a hot summer afternoon at the porch. Overall, it is just a relax place in the neighborhood for a couple of drinks. I would probably only sit by the bar for about an hr and have some light snacks.

Wait staff here is terrible. They sat me and my family down and after 10 minutes no one showed up to even offer us drinks or water. I complained and 5 minutes later I see 2 employee arguing at the front pointing at our table. After arguing for a while they both leave and no one came. We got up and left. This place is run by kids. What a joke. The manager is also a joke. I wish I would have came on yelp and read reviews before going there. Went to Chilly's down the street. 5 stars for them.

Walking in, we asked the hostess if we could sit in a table by the bar (I pointed at a table on the right side of the bar), and she said no. She said we had to sit in a table on the side of the restaurant. I told her that we weren't going to eat, we were only their for happy hour. She replied saying that regardless we can't sit near the bar because its part of the restaurant...............what type of response is that??? I guess she could tell from my facial expression that I was a bit annoyed, so then she told me I could sit on the left side of the bar. She was so rude, she could've told me from the beginning that the tables on the left side are available. We were then attended by the server. He turned my experience around. I didn't get his name, but he was just so nice and attentive. We ordered a few beers, and he was quick to bring them out to us. I'm not sure whether I'd return, for various reasons. This location is not that near my home, and the service by the hostess was not great.

So, I'll try to be generous with this review because no one goes to an Applebee's expecting anything else other than a beer and some chicken but this place is pretty bad even by Applebee's standards. Service is bad. Period. I can't really blame them, since the crowd is generally a group of drunk losers but bottom line is that you will wait too long for fast food. There is also a chance you will get a server that would rather be doing anything else Needless to say I'm not a fan of the regulars Drinks are generally pretty speedy and the bar is the establishment's strong-point. However, like most franchises, cocktails are week and the tap is mostly cheap domestics. The food is relatively good and I honestly do enjoy most of their dishes, but its nothing cant get at any other steakhouse. The sampler is always a good bet and so are their wings and anything with their delicious bbq sauce. If thats where someone wants to go I wouldnt make a huge scene about it, but given the option I'd rather go a couple blocks over to Chilli's or Friday's

Horrible service! Our waiter was terrible and the food was also horrible. My Sirlion was like chewing on a piece of bubble gum. Bad quality cheap food. Boyfriend ordered the orange chicken and it tasted like frozen nuggets with a drop of orange sauce. Worst food ever

This was my weekend eatery as a preteen and going as an adult makes me realize why. I went there to eat the other day and our waiter took forever!! Not only that but they messed up my drink order twice. The food was alright and of course, quite cheap since it is a chain restaurant. One of the biggest downers was that it was empty. It was thursday night, you'd expect it to be busier (and this review won't help... but, come on! Step it up Applebees!) I love the fact that they have tiny deserts, it makes it easier to order more than one without being a fatson. I also love their Asian salad and their banana-berry drink, so all in all I might find myself back there in some other occasion, but my expectations will definitely be a lot lower.

I used to go to this place a lot when it first opened in the 90's. I went back not to long ago and I was extremely disappointed. We visited with a friend who cannot eat any salt, for health reasons, and the waitress tried to help us find something on the menu that they could make without any salt. She came back and said: "Everything we serve here is frozen and it already has salt and seasoning in it. Nothing is fresh here." (Her own words). Not that I was surprised to hear this, but really nothing fresh in the kitchen? Not good. I do appreciate the waitress' honesty.
