Strengths: Diverse menu. Create atmosphere. TV every 5 feet. Friendly staff. Pizza by the slice. Opportunities: Table wobbly. Summary: Pizza was fantastic. Cheeseburger cooked well. You won't be disappointed.

Decent pizza at a premium price. Claiming "Worlds Best Pizza by the slice" is a tall order and should be revised to say "Villages Best Pizza by the slice". I was also a little disappointed in the draft beer selection. When the closet thing to local on draft is Sweetwater out of Atlanta, you need to reevaluate your beer vendor. All said and done, I would/will go back. We really enjoyed The Village and this was probably the best meal we had there.

3 times we have been to Destin, 3 times we've been to this place. They serve really good pizzas. It's impossible for us to be indecisive on which pizza to order because every time, they hit the bull eye. There are not many seatings, so you'll probably have to wait during their busy nights. Their pizzas are worth it. Good TV to watch sports. Good beer. Great wait staff.

A great pizza joint in the heart of the warf. The dough is what makes these particular pizzas so good. It is a thin crust no so crispy, slightly chewy ( no too chewy) but full of flavor. It's a great spot to grab some pizza and drinks if your trying to escape the heat. The atmosphere is nice, can accommodate large groups ( if not too busy) and the service is spot on. I recommend the mushroom or the buffalo chicken (my favorite! )

Amazing pizza. The server was attentive. The bar tender even ask a group of men to lower their voices and be mindful of their language bc it was a family restaurant and children were present.

I always want to love this place, but always leave disappointed. Due to it's location, it's overpriced for what you get, other than the pizza by the slice (more on that later). On this visit, I had a house salad ($8.95) and pizza by the slice ($5.95). This meal was not worth $15.00. Several piece of the greens were wilted, and the $9 house salad was only topped with a few pieces of feta and tomatoes. Now onto the pizza by the slice. I've ordered this several times due to the price and quantity, but with this, it's quantity over quality unfortunately. It's $5.95 for actually TWO large slices of pizza with up to 5 toppings. The problem? They just take pieces of cooked cheese pizza, add your toppings, add more cheese and rebake. Who wants that? If you get pizza by the slice, just stick to the cheese pizza. If you want decent pizza, I recommend ordering a whole pizza that's baked fresh. The service is fine, and it's usually clean here. It is a good place to come watch a game, as there are 16 TVs in this small joint. They also have unique drinks, like Bacardi and cherry slushies. Come for the game, drinks and maybe an appetizer, but go elsewhere for great pizza.

Roberto's is a great place to indulge in carbs- case in point, I had the cheesy garlic bread and a cheese pizza. The garlic bread was tasty: the bread itself was great, but I felt they could have done a bit more with garlic and butter and a touch less with the cheese (but just my taste). We ordered the 12 inch cheese pizza and were delighted with the thin crust, hand tossed pie. This isn't run of the mill pizza, it's more gourmet (think grimaldi's or something similar). Overall I would say it's above average food and a nice atmosphere!

We loved the pizza and burgers here. The service was impeccable. This is a great casual place to watch a game or to sit outside and people watch!

We stayed at The Grand San Destin and they are just downstairs in the Village which is a few steps away. They promised delivery in 45 min to an hour. That was at at 7:30 pm. At 9:05 our food arrived lukewarm and flipped upside down in its boxes. 2 small pizzas, 2 salads and an order of pasta and meatballs was $70. The food would have been good had it been warm - and we would have gladly walked down and gotten it had we known it would be over an hour and a half wait. If you are staying in the Grand, don't bother with the "delivery" service.

Its a pizza joint. Even the worst pizza is still pretty good. The plus side was we were told a 45 minute wait but got in at 25 minutes. Very crowded so I don't blame the staff which was very friendly. Only one unisex bathroom.

Pizza was pretty good but no matter how good/great your product is, lack of attentiveness and service will kill your business. It's peak season here in Destin/San Destin and this place was not staffed to handle the steady crowd of people that kept coming in. This added stress to the staff and even the manager who let it play out into the way they handled their customers. Hopefully they get it fixed. Like I said, their product is good and if you're willing to look past their service issues, you will like the food.

I'm not sure what the bad reviews were from, but we had a very pleasant experience. I ordered for delivery and the gentleman was very nice and helped me decide how much to order based on two people. He did say it would be about an hour and a half and asked if that was ok. I knew it probably would be from the prior postings. I agreed and they delivered prior to the 1 1/2 hour time and it was hot and delicious. I would definitely order form them again.

4.5/5.0 Im not sure why this place is not rated higher. If your looking for a plain traditional pizza DO NOT come here. They really do serve some nice gourmet pizza. This place was clean and well organized. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. We ordered the 18' cajun bell pepper shrimp for $24. The pizza came out in 25 mins. The shrimp was extremely fresh with no briny or fishy flavors. They gave us 1-1.5 pieces per slice. The cheese to vege to sauce ratio was perfect. The dough was cooked perfectly. The seasoning was on point with everything else and the pizza really sung harmoniously. I would gladly pay 5 bucks a slice for that pizza (it averaged out to 3.50 per slice). The only down side to this place is they use styeophones as cups which is extremely non environmental friendly and i urge them to use something more environmental friendly. Cheers!

Wish there was a negative star for this. We are locals and I recommend this restaurant to friends who were visiting. After a horrible experience, they tried to talk to a manager and were told by their waiter there was no manager. They then asked the hostess who sent the manager over. He was very unapologetic for their experience. I then emailed this gentleman on March 23, to voice my concerns and embarrassment. It is now 2 weeks later and no response. Rude wait staff, slow service, and so so food. I won't be recommending this place again.

Me and my family arrived late from Alabama to Sandestin and were just looking for somewhere to eat that was still open. We decided on Roberto's. We ordered it there for take out, but the staff seemed friendly enough. The pizza was fairly good, but nothing special. It gave me heartburn the next day as well. I assume it was from the significant amount of grease. Roberto's is good if you're looking for a quick bite, and the crust is quite tasty. But i myself prefer Papa John's and it's a lot cheaper too!

Came here for a quick dinner to grab some pizza. Split a salad which was pretty standard and got two small pizzas. They forgot a couple toppings but we were hungry so didn't bother returning them. They were both good. Atmosphere is very casual, server was friendly but overall service was a little slow.

Solid pizza joint in Baytowne Village. The pizza is on the doughy side like Papa John's if you like that style. The garlic bread with cheese was great. Kids liked it. Otherwise would have preferred a more unique seafood oriented locale.

Fantastic by the slice pizza, huge portions, and a great staff. I give it 5 stars, this place is a lot better than the other pizza places I've tried in ft walton/destin area.

The pizza and chicken Alfredo was as close to perfect as you could get. the service wasn't bad but it was slightly below decent. I noticed a lot of servers going in and out of the place to serve food to propel outside and would just push past people and not apologize. overall the food is worth the mediocre service.

All the good staff must be in the summer.. Someone made mention of having better frozen food. I would have to agree, and what's worse is that they made us seem like we bothered them bringing them our business.

The pizza is decent. It is better than your day to day fast food joint but far from superior in any way. It is the only place on site at Sandestin that delivers though so you take what you can get after a long day at the beach. WARNING: Gratuity is included on the credit card slip, so don't give extra unless you think they earned it. For us they did not earn it due to the fact that they did not bring silverware or plates for the caeser salad. They know what the room comes equipped with, which makes this a pretty big error. We dipped the lettuce in the dressing and moved on with our lives. All in all the pizza is good enough, but check your order before you accept it if you are expecting to actually be able to eat anything but pizza.

Great pizza and pasta here! We also loved the meatball sub without the bread for an appetizer! Really friendly staff too...easily the best dining experience we had in Destin!

This place had great pizza. They were fairly timely and had friendly servers. The prices are a little high compared to places that aren't in tourist areas, but that is to be expected. I will definitely be going back.

The staff outnumbered the customers. The pizza was not so good. We didn't take home the extra. The quest dip was not any better The wait staff was great....but the bartender was an ass. I wanted to tell him that he only works at a resort. ..doesn't own it! We just went to watch nfl....won't go back.

The Buffalo Chicken pizza was great. The kids loved the pizza by the slice made to order. Also we were able to try gator bites. Great place to eat!

Pizza is very salty, dough is thick and chewy. If you want a large pizza delivered be prepared to pay $35.00. You heard me right. Do yourself a favor and order Hungry Howies or go get a Tombstone frozen. Either way you'll get a better pizza at a fraction of the price.

Gave them another try, sat the bar. Great service however ordered the turkey jalapeño sandwich. Imagine one deli slice of turkey, couple sliced jalapeños, big pieces of red onion and mystery cheese. Terrible to say the least.

We had a gift certificate and decided to come here. The pizza was better than expected, but it's pizza... its better than your average pizza but nothing to go out of your way for.

I'm not sure if it was from drinks on the beach all day and being famished, but I really liked the pizza here. I ordered a slice of pepperoni, pineapple (hush) and jalapeno. It was so big, cheesy and delicious. My friends ordered the meat pizza and it looked so good, and they devoured it. Our waitress was super nice, the TV's were awesome if I would have been there to watch a game. They weren't intrusive at all. The best part was finally getting to try Yuengling beer. The oldest brewery in America, which I didn't know so even better. The beer was awesome, and getting it to go with a cute souvenir cup = awesome.

Good pizza, plenty of toppings, dough and sauce taste fresh. Not gourmet but great for a family. Lots of screens with sports make it a plus. Decent but not great selection of beers.

Atmosphere is nice and everything is clean and orderly. The staff is friendly and prompt. I came during slow hours however there were still a handful of customers and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Definitely a recommendation if you're in the area and crave pizza.

The pizza here is okay. The service is slow & bad. We had a large pizza, mozzarella bread sticks & lasagna . The pizza was good , the bread sticks never came, they took them to the wrong table, & the lasagna was not that good. The place is in a great location & the view is nice. I would not come here for a pizza but would come here for a beer.

Pizza is average especially for being so expensive! The location is nice but the staff is very rude! One of their servers/bartenders Forest Huggins just got charged with a DUI on October 23 for for blowing a .192 and causing $60,100 + worth of damages on June 29th in a drunkin car crash...and somehow he is still employed there! Management needs to hire better staff/do more background check on their employees. (He is the owners son I believe though so he probably can do what ever he wants) Minus the terrible staff and service the location of this place is amazing! Right next to the water and has all the sports games on! I would go back but only if they got an entire new staff and taught them about customer service and how to be a mature adult in the service industry (aka don't hire/have people with recent/current DUI's or drug charges work for you...it's a very bad and look professionally!)

If your looking to give your money away then I'll give you my address! Way over priced!! I had the chicken parm it was WAY over cooked. My wife had the Muffalatta sandwich and it was $17.95! This was SO not worth the money! The service was poor as well. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone! I would give 1/2 a star if I could.

Fantastic service, food, & experience. My family of 4 (two toddlers) came to Roberto's tonight in the height of off season, but everything was on point. It's easy to make bad fried pickles and pizza and sell them for $$$ in a resort setting. There's nothing lazy about that pizza and fried pickles. Our server was engaging and great with our kids. Excellent all around

We had their pizza last night and the dough was not cooked enough... Not a Good experience service matters as well not taking about the sauce which was pretty much Tabasco all over the pizza and that was it! Horrible!!

Roberto's is located inside of a popular beach and golf resort, which is very busy during Spring break, Summer and main holidays. It is a great place to have pizza, their burgers are awesome too!! Love love love the staff and atmosphere, very laid back place in Sandestin :-)

Very good pizza, great place to watch a football game. Soft drinks are 2.95 and refills are incredibly slow and require prompting the server...get a water. I was the first customer of the day so I didn't have to wait long for pizza. Overall good food, poor service.
