One of the waitresses had a Buck's shirt that said "almost famous", that's true they need to work on a couple of minor items and they will be there; 1st don't miss the tuna dip, it is served cold and was $6.95 on special regularly 9.95. If you have a cooler get one for the road/beach. One of the guys working there said it has 8oz of yellow fin tuna included and a number of the other restaurants buy it from them to serve. Here is where my first suggestion comes in, ditch the off brand saltines and complement with a better brand. 2nd ordered two pulled pork sandwiches $6.25 each - plenty of perfectly cooked meat but here is the biggest miss at the restaurant - the sauces. I believe they have 3 - a sweet, a hot and a mustard base. Tried all three, none of which were memorable. Also got a full rack of ribs $23.99 again cooked perfect. Took my own advice and got a tuna dip to go.

One of the best. I worked as a cook at a BBQ restaurant and have toured around finding some of the best spots Texas, Memphis and the Carolinas have to offer. Bucks offers the best sausage I've tried as well as the best brisket I've had outside TX. The pulled pork is second to none too ( I went back two nights in a row)! Lastly, they don't overlook their sides either; probably the best beans and coleslaw I've tried. Enjoy!

Great, no frills location, but everything you want in a BBQ joint....good blues music and fantastic food. I got the brisket and pork combo (also comes with 2 sides). Brisket was fork-tender, and both meats had a great smokey flavor. Wide-array of sauces available (mustard based, a sweet tomato based, and even an Alabama white that had a nice peppery spice to it). Chose coleslaw and potato salad as the sides. The slaw was a typical, sweeter type version, and was solid. Potato salad was somewhat unique in it's peppery taste, and I loved it. I've been vacationing in Destin for 30 years, and Buck's is going to be a mainstay from here on out.

My daughter saw this place on TV as one of the best BBQ places to eat. It surly wasn't disappointing and that's saying allot coming from Texas. We arrived around 6:00 pm and they were already out of Brisket. I had the pulled pork with coke slaw which was excellent. There normal closing time is 8pm and and at 7:15 they ran out of food. Highly recommend this place.

I really wanted to enjoy this local restaurant, but the pork was dry and salty. I picked up some of the sauces and the spicy was like jello and retained the shape of the cup. I understand some other locals enjoy Bucks and was hoping to be one of them.

Dont miss Bucks. The food is outstanding, the service fast and courteous, and it was totally worth three money. It was also cheap compared to the other places around. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend this for a great place to eat. If you're expecting fine linen and something high end, this isn't for you. But the food and the friendly staff is the reason to go.

I have not had a bad meal here yet. Great BBQ that tastes like you have spent hours cooking it at home. Brisket, pulled pork, ribs, Mac and cheese.... It is all good comfort food!!

We made two trips to BUCKS while in Destin. The first trip was after a long day and we we're starving BUT as we pulled up a little before 8pm they had a sign up that said CLOSED and "Sold Out". Ok so we were a buy confused but ate somewhere else that night and came back early the next morning, they would not sell out on us again! When you walk up you can wash your hands on the way inside. This was very appealing to me cause we had just left the beach. The menu is pretty short and it's written on a chalkboard above the counter. The young ladies at the counter were so nice and accommodating while taking our order. We had a sliced brisket sandwich which was yummy and lots of meat! We also had ribs and brisket platter which was all good. Food was kinda smokey but not too much. Potato salad recipe wasn't very tasty, beans were lackluster but it does say smokehouse on the sign. They have a mustard based sauce and a traditional BBQ style sauce that were both very flavorful. All in all we would go back! Also the handwriting of the person who wrote all the signs and labels... Neat handwriting! (Looks like a kindergarten teacher wrote everything lol)

My wife was kind enough to allow me a lunchtime barbecue indulgence during our week-long beach vacation. I knew I had to make my choice count, so I picked new local favorite Buck's Smokehouse. When we pulled up and saw large piles of wood stacked in the parking lot, I was certain that I made the right choice. The choice of mounted fish and nautical decor combined with deer heads and barbecue nicknacks seemed a little motley at first, but it actually did a great job of bridging the gap between sea and smoke. As nice as the interior was, we had our sights set on their big outdoor patio. Though it lacks a view of the Gulf, it does provide a great breeze and a pleasant dining experience. We were going to be sharing, so I had the honor of ordering for both of us. I loaded up on a two-meat Combo Platter of brisket and sausage for myself, with potato salad and chips (they were out of fries) on the side. For my wife, I ordered a second two-meat Combo Platter of prime rib and pulled pork, as well as some mac and cheese and BBQ pork and beans. I could hardly contain myself when I saw the caliber of barbecue I'd just unwrapped, but I somehow managed to suspend my carnivorous yearnings long enough to taste the side dishes. The chips were of the basic Lays potato variety, and as such were not worth commenting on. The macaroni was full of gooey, melty cheese, but could have used some pepper or jalapeno to jazz things up. As for the BBQ beans, they were pleasantly sweet and had ample seasoning. The potato salad was definitely my favorite here. It was slightly spicy, almost like they used a remoulade for the base rather than basic mayonnaise. Our side dishes started off weak, but kept crescendoing up to an awesome finale. My inner-Texan insisted that their brisket be the first meat sampled. I'm glad I listened, because it was beyond reproach. As beautiful as the rosy smoke ring looked, the smoky brisket tasted even better. The crust was seasoned nicely and also added quite a lot of flavor to the meat. We ended up with leaner cuts of beef, but they weren't the least bit dried out. The pulled pork was equally spectacular, which I knew it would be judging by all of the bark, fat, and smoke-kissed bits scattered throughout. Every bite was extremely flavorful, both in terms of the smoke level and the seasoning. The meat was very tender without having that mushy quality that far too often plagues pulled pork. It's hard to get good sausage outside of Texas, with the vast majority of barbecue joints shamefully serving store-bought links. This sausage, however, was near perfect. The crisp casings had a great snap to them, and the coarse-ground meat inside melted when bitten into. The spices sprinkled on the outside provided a good kick and more flavor than I expected to find in this neck of the woods. Last but not least, the prime rib. The meat was cooked close to medium-rare, as it should have been. The razor-thin slices were incredibly tender, and the high fat content made things extra juicy and extra delicious. There was a great array of spices, but most of the flavor came from the massive amount of smoke packed into each bite. In fact, the prime rib was probably the smokiest of the meats. I found it really hard to stop eating once I had built up some inertia. We came to Florida for sun, sand, and seafood, but I'm really glad that we added a little barbecue to our itinerary. Buck's Smokehouse has certainly achieved their goal of bringing "old school BBQ" back to the Gulf coast.

Ordered the ribs and brisket and one of the best I've had! I'm not a local but I know great BBQ and this place has it. Also, the pork and beans were outstanding!

Wow! That was awesome barbeque! Among the 4 of us, we had ribs, pulled pork, sausage & brisket and I'm not sure I've ever had better. And we've eaten bbq all over the southeast over the last 40 years. The ribs were meaty, the pork had NO globs of fat like some places do, and the brisket was really tasty. I didn't even use sauce on any of it (although the sauces were very good.) Oh! And the banana pudding! I'm not usually crazy about it, but this was super! It has, maybe cinnamon? Way better than average!

First off, the only reason his place isn't getting 5 stars is because I have no patience and I had to stand in line for 15 minutes before ordering. Don't do anything without ordering the smoked tuna dip first. You can get it from other places in Destin because they buy it from Bucks and resell it. The BBQ here can rival that of Oklahoma and Texas at every level. The mustard sauce would make Memphis BBQ question its entire meaning of existence. I got brisket and sausage. The sausage was home made and amazing. The brisket was so good I wouldn't have shared it with the Pope. Check this place out.

Two stars because the guy taking out the trash when we showed up was nice. We showed up at 7:00, they close at 8. We went inside and the first thing the person taking orders said was "All we have are turkey, sausage and beef brisket, we're out of pork." My wife and I only wanted pulled pork sandwiches, so we left. Pulling out, a party of 7 guys was turned away and told that EVERYTHING was sold out. At 7:08 the "Closed" sign was put out to keep more from coming. We drove all the way from Crestview to eat dinner at this particular place and I doubt we'll be back. If the guy taking out the trash hadn't been nice we'd probably say one star. The atmosphere was awesome and the smell had our mouths watering which made our disappointment that much worse.

Finally found the foodie destination in Destin. We search and search and we can normally find the best food in a specific location. Of course , this is what full-time RVers do. Buck's Smokehouse is the place. Probably the best smoked prime rib sandwich and chopped beef brisket sandwich we have ever eaten. Sorry Texas and Oklahoma... You still have the best Ribs and pork... Haven't tried those yet here though. If you are in town, come here. Come hungry. Leave full. Leave knowing you got the best bbq in the South. About 10 to 15 bucks per person so it's amazingly one of the least expensive places in the area too. We will be back and bring our friends.

As a BBQ aficionado who regularly dines on the world's finest in Kansas City and Memphis, I had to check out Bucks to see if the CNN top ten list was legitimate. I can name 10 other BBQ joints that are as good as Bucks, maybe 20. Bucks gets the attention because they serve very good BBQ in a BBQ desert. Obviously they stand out in Destin where seafood rules. I had the smoked prime rib sandwich and sampled a couple of ribs. The sandwich had a strong smokey flavor and was especially tender. I would order it again. The ribs were tasty, with reasonable tenderness but not perfect. Achieving perfect tenderness is difficult when you are smoking hundreds of slabs a day. The fries were natural cut and crisp. The selection of sauces ranged from common tomato sweet, to a tangy hot, an Alabama white to a North Carolina mustard. I tried the sweet, hot and white sauces and liked them all. On my second trip I had the smoked tuna dip. Many Destin seafood places serve this and I have suspected that many use liquid smoke. I had to try smoked tuna at a place that knows how to smoke. I was rewarded with some awesome tuna dip served with saltines. If you like smoked tuna, go to Buck's where the smoke flavor is real. I will return to Bucks whenever in Destin. It is very good Q, but not top 10 quality.

The. Best. BBQ. Ever. If you like great bbq then this is the only place you need to come to when you're in Destin. The food is incredible!!! After just one bite we all knew we would be returning to Buck's again. We had the Buck's lunch special and the combo platter. Do not miss the smoked prime rib!! The meat is perfectly seasoned and sauces, though very tasty, are not needed! As soon as you walk up to the doors, the aroma tells you that you're heaven. The staff is amazing friendly, the establishment super clean, and the ambience perfect for BBQ. Can't wait to return!

OMG, some of the best BBQ EVER! The brisket is delicious and so is the pulled pork, HUGE chunks of brisket or bacon in the baked beans, and the mac n' cheese is delicious! Not too much inside seating, so dinner time when the sun is going down is much more comfortable to eat in. The staff is very friendly and it is an overall good atmosphere.

Can't say enough about this brisket!!!! The Tuna Dip is amazing too and they sell out of it so get there early and come hungry!! Ribs are good, pork is awesome, but for me....it's the lean, never dry BRISKET!

Move over Hog's Breath, there's a new BBQ king in Destin. I had heard the buzz about Buck's and had been looking forward to our trip to Destin and making our rounds at our favorite eateries...Dewey Destin's, McGuire's, The Boathouse and others. We always hit Hog's Breath to get our BBQ fix but this time wanted to try Buck's and were were not disappointed. Buck's was fantastic. Tried the pulled pork and thought it was some of the best I've ever had. The homemade sides were also terrific...potato salad and Cole slaw today. The atmosphere was fun and comfortable. Overall a great, casual experience. Highly recommend Buck's to visitors and townies alike!

So we live in Texas with plenty of BBQ and as we go in we're joking about why were we even eating there. Let me tell you, you WILL NOT regret coming here. The fiancé ordered combo rib/ brisket plate which was amazing, the pork n beans were delish as well. My chopped brisket sandwich was hands down the BEST, yep I said it, the BEST tasting brisket I've ever had. All of their sauces were soooo tasty and unique in their own way, and we came during lunch and soaked up the beautiful weather at a patio table. I'm assuming it was the owner/ cook that came out and asked every table how they liked their food and it seemed like he really took pride in his bbq(always a plus). The place is small but it has its own flavor and style that makes me like it even more.

Yelp did not lead me astray with this one. Buck's serves up some very credible BBQ. The smoked chicken and turkey are moist with a flavorful but unobtrusive rub. Excellent flavor, moisture, smoke ring. Reasonable prices and a great meal.

Brisket and pulled pork were both excellent. BBQ beans were absolutely amazing. They were on the sweet side, but were also packed with so much meat that I could have a big cup of them and make a meal out of it alone with some nice bread. The coleslaw was nice and creamy. The meat, as with any good TX style BBQ place, can easily stand alone without the sauce, but they had 4 different choices and the spicy flavor was my favorite. It was more oniony than spicy but that's right up my alley anyway. The one thing that I could miss was the potato salad. Its kinda mushy and the flavor tries to go in too many directions at once. This place would definitely hold its own in Austin, so considering Salt Lick and Franklin's, that's impressive. Best of all, unlike all the places here, we didn't even have to wait in line and the prices were right.

Buck's lofty reputation was not met during my visit to this barbecue restaurant. There were a few areas of this business that were lacking and I feel need to be improved. The private parking lot was freshly paved and easy to navigate. The flow into the restaurant was good and the decor was very clean and modern. Based off of the decor and vibe only, this place would be a solid 4. Once I got past the decor, the restaurant took a turn. As I approached the counter to order, the girl taking orders was on the phone. She acknowledged me but continued with her phone order. While waiting for her to finish with her call a family came in and walked right up to the counter and started talking to other employees who were readying food and silverware in the kitchen. The girl got off the phone and started started talking to the family and they proceeded to have a ten minute conversation while ordering their meal. Normally I wouldn't fault a restaurant for customer's rude social behavior but the girl working the counter was also in the wrong for not taking a second to correct the line cutting family to let them know that I was there waiting patiently to order. It was very annoying but I made the drive there and heard that the food was good. I stuck it out and played along. The next area that was lacking was the price for quality. The food was good, not great. It definitely did not warrant the high prices that they were charging. The meal came with a choice of meat, bread, and two sides. The food was hot which is a good thing but the flavors were only average. I was expecting much better. It may have had something to do with the fact that they were closing down to clean the kitchen the next day. Maybe the food wasn't being prepared in its best conditions. I don't what the case was but I wasn't impressed. Overall, I was underwhelmed by Buck's Smokehouse. I would give it another try but I am not sure it will be any time soon. I expected more after having such high expectations.

Newly minted but operating smoothly, Destin's new BBQ joint is going to put the pounds on this Georgia boy. The first thing that struck me about Buck's Smokehouse was its simplicity. In BBQ, that's becoming a lost art. It's a cinder block building with a wrap-around porch that features picnic tables, simple wooden tables and even seating made from stadium seats (which I eagerly fell into). Garage doors and ceiling fans keep the air moving in nice weather, and the A/C is running inside during the summer months. They serve their 'Q on butcher paper, which is a smart move, in my opinion. Flatware and drink ware is plastic or canned and condiments are self-serve. Their menu covers the greatest hits and then some, their service is fast and friendly and the food was amazing. Sides are Texas-sized; you can't really finish them but will try your very best. For me, I always judge BBQ on two things: ribs and brisket. I can honestly say theirs was the best brisket I've ever had. It was perfect. There was a thick, firm smoke ring surrounding soft, delicious brisket underneath. Their BBQ pork baked beans side is a meal in itself. I can't wait to try their ribs. In addition to all that, they do catering and lunch specials as well as a pick-up window, so you can eat fast, you can eat cheap or you can eat a lot, but you definitely need to try this place if you like BBQ.

Heard about this place from a Trip Advisor top 10 BBQ places in America so had high hopes since it was on a list with some pretty famous BBQ joints. Ordered ribs and they had a good flavor from the rub, the sauce, and the smoke. Good smoke ring as well. The unfortunate part was the ribs were pretty chewy, fatty and dry. They did not pull off the bone at all. My son got pulled pork and that was very good. So I'd say try the pulled pork and not the ribs.

We waited 35 minutes for our food. The patio was reserved so there was a backlog for seating. We were informed of this after ordering. For that reason alone one star (because I can't give zero stars). Food was average. Probably won't be coming back (my husband was fuming about how long we had to wait- oh to add insult to injury there was no seats once our food was ready, we had to eat in the car...not the best experience!!)

It you're looking for fancy, this is the wrong place. If you want great barbeque, you've found the Best. The food is excellent, and just as important, the folks serving you go over-the-top to take care of you. This will be a vacation experience that I will pass on to others. BTW-it was the many great yelp reviews that helped us choose Buck's. Glad I checked!

we ate here today and the place is great...service was friendly but the issue here is the food and that's what it's all about really...we got the brisket which was dried out and no flavor...pulled pork was decent...potato salad was horrible and way to spicy...I would hope they read there reviews so they can get it right...cheers

Bucks is AMAZING!! We found this place last summer and made a special trip on our way to Orlando from Dallas. My favorite place to eat in Destin!! The brisket, ribs and turkey are phenomenal. My kids loved the smoked chicken. The owners and staff are friendly and make you feel like family. Probably the best bbq I've had anywhere. You gotta try it!!

Destin finally has a terrific BBQ joint! The meat is smoked so well you don't even need sauce but still try all they offer. Reasonable prices and kid friendly too. All the sides taste like your grandmother made them. When you're sick of seafood, visit Bucks!

Best brisket I've had. All of the sauces were great. Really surprised to find this place in a kitschy tourist town, but so glad I did!! Go there if you're tired of seafood and DEFINITELY a skip the chain restaurants to get a taste of BBQ goodness.

Getting straight to the review unlike Frank below.... It's very good. I've had BBQ in: TX, LA, AR, MS, TN, NC, SC, CA, AZ.... And finally Florida. This place is very good. While I was eating my brisket sammich I literally said to myself "I could wake up from a coma in this restaurant, eat their brisket, and think I'm in Tejas." I ordered the brisket sammich for $6 & a side of $2 Mac N Cheese (Mac n cheese expert). Damn good. They have 3 different sauces: Carolina (sweet), Red (traditional BBQ sauce), and a Alabama White (like a ranch). I'd def geaux back.

I'm a GA girl and BBQ snob. Bucks not only met my expectations it surpassed them! Incredible BBQ!! In my top 3 BBQ places I have ever been to in my life. If you're like me and occasionally like to take a full day to smoke your ribs, let this place do all the work for you for the same great taste.

We recently visited this place on a whim. During our vacation we saw it on the side of 98. Being from a barbeque state at first I was worried. This place exceeded all my expectations. The bbq was moist fresh and well seasoned. They are a dry rub meat shop. They have 6 sauces, they range from carolina to st Louis. So you can pick what you like best. Or you can eat it with just the rub. The brisket was done right who knew you could find that in Florida. All I can say is fantastic absolutely fantastic. If my wife would let me and cholesterol medicine would hold out. I would eat there EVERYDAY They do it right.

Absolutely delicious BBQ at great prices. Very healthy portions and sides. I had the turkey and brisket. My friend had brisket and prime rib. All meats were perfectly cooked and spiced. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

Absolutely amazing food! Everybody who worked there was so friendly and very quick! I had a pulled pork sandwich and my girlfriend had a sliced brisket sandwich and they were as close to a Texas barbecue as you are going to get in Destin. I will definitely be come one back!

Fabulous restaurant! I love BBQ, and this was the best BBQ place we tried while in Destin. Not only was their food fabulous (I especially recommend the chicken and the pork), but they were some of the nicest waitresses and cooks I've ever come across. The woman at the counter was extremely patient and enthusiastic, and took the time to go over most of the menu with us and make suggestions. Later, the chef came out personally to ask how we liked it. Everyone was friendly and kind, but not in an overbearing way. I also noticed that the restaurant was quite clean. It had a homey yet fresh vibe, and also seemed like it was mostly patronized by locals when we were there (mid-week for lunch).

Not a bad place to eat. The pulled pork was amazing! Chicken had to be re done due to it being pink & chicken tenders were too crunchy. Sweet tea was off the hook!

Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable atmosphere. I like the seating outside, from the right spot you can see the harbor. The first visit (second day after opening)I ordered the brisket and pulled pork (pick two) platter. I chose the fries and coleslaw as my sides. All of it was delicious. The beef brisket is the best I have ever had! The pulled pork is very good as well. The coleslaw lacked flavor/seasoning, the fries were good but nothing special. Both side items were big portions. The two meat combo was an ok size, I feel that the brisket portion was a little small for the $$. I returned there today for lunch after a few weeks of business for the smoke shack. I got the ribs with coleslaw. The slaw was still bland and the portion was dwarfed compared to last time. The 1/2 rack of ribs was a big portion seemingly. The amount of edible meat on the ribs was negligible though. There was a lot of gristle and indelible fat rubbery tissue. The flavor was off as well. I kept getting a strange after taste of margarine. If it wasn't for the sauces I used for dipping I would have had to throw them away. Maybe it was an off day, but I really regret getting the ribs. I will definitely return for another shot. I will not be going with the ribs anytime soon though. Also, the chalkboard menu had roughly half the menu items taped over today. Very strange I thought. I do recommend going and having some good brisket with some nice folks.

super impressed, as a mustard lover, I was so happy that they also had a mustard based bbq sauce. food and service were both excellent even during rush hour lunch. my friend and I both had the pulled pork sandwich, she got mac and cheese (mediocre, don't recommend though) and I had the coleslaw, which I do recommend. will be back :)

Needed a place for a quick carry out meal and the reviews looked pretty good for this spot. Being from the Kansas Cit area, the expectations for BBQ are pretty high and this place was a huge disappointment by any standards. We ordered brisket and smoked chicken sandwiches. The chicken had lots of gristle in it that you had to pick out but it had pretty good smoked flavor. The brisket looked good but by the time we got back to the hotel, the grease from the sandwiches had leaked through three layers of wrapping. Thankfully the bun soaked up much of the grease so we threw those away and tried to eat the brisket but we found it to be very fatty (which explains the grease). Overall a disappointing experience. Looking forward to getting back to real BBQ.

Wow. We loved this place. It's brand new but man do they know smoked meats. It's a small menu which I like. It means they are focusing on doing a few things very well rather than a lot poorly. Try the brisket and the ribs. Fantastic. Tender, juicy and a delicious Texas style dry rub with side red and white sauces available. Brand new simple block and garage door type building which works perfectly with the food. The staff was real friendly including Mat the chef who came out to say hi to all diners. Great place. Try it. We're going back before we leave. PS- the driveway and sign are hard to see so go slow. Which ain't easy on Rt 98.

YUM YUM YUM! If you're in the mood for some melt-in-your-mouth-tender BBQ get to Bucks Smokehouse NOW! We stopped into this joint for a taste of home since we were missing our St. Louis style BBQ... well we were NOT disappointed. They seem to have thought of everything from the decor (picnic benches) to the food served in butcher paper - very nice touch which only adds to the experience. Now onto the main star, THE FOOD. Let me just say this... I have never had more flavorful Beef Brisket in my life (no offense Mom)! :) Normally, I put a ton of BBQ sauce on my meat but not this time. The flavor was so good without sauce I thought - why bother!?!? Speaking of sauce - you add your own which is nice so you can have as much or as little as you want. There are 2 sauces - Sweet Red & The Carolina they were both really good. My parents were with us and they got Ribs which were equally as delicious. Finally, we topped off dinner with homemade Banana Pudding and WOW was it good!!!! Seriously - do not leave without trying the Banana Pudding, it's the perfect sweet compliment. The only con (if any) is location, it's very easy to pass up the parking lot so keep your eyes peeled! I know they just opened so I wish them the best of luck and when we vacation to Destin again we will certainly be stopping in for 2nd's.

My brother and I are sticklers for good BBQ. Before we came here we walked into another BBQ place in the area and it was more so on the fine dining scale (when your eating bbq you ain't looking for non of that) so we walked out. When we saw this place i was a little hesitant at first but once we stepped out of the car the aroma was fantastic. To make a long story short we walked in and it reminded us of being in Texas. We got the smoked tuna dip and two pulled port sandwiches which were incredible. The sweet tea AWESOME! the sauces were magical! the sides (potato salad and pork beans) fantastic! It reminded me of Stanleys in Tyler Texas which was featured several times on the Travel Channel. We frequently ate at the place while staying in Texas! this bbq joint is very similar in flavor and texture. I have to say they (Stanleys) have some competition and oddly enough it just happens to be in Florida. The ladies that work there are fantastic human beings that really care about customer service. The owner (chef) even came out and talked with us for a few minutes. He is truly a humble, good hearted person! give this place a shot. I was nervous at first but all the good reviews gave me the extra push. Now I will be among the reviews! check it out you won't be disappointed we weren't.

Awesome BBQ. Generous portions- easy to share. Pulled pork sandwich and platter was outstanding. Clean restaurant with friendly service. Is our go to BBQ restaurant in Destin/FWB.

Had the ribs and brisket. Over all was pretty good BBQ. It is texas style dry rub and not covered with sauce which is the way it should be. Generous sides.

Arguably the best BBQ I've ever had in my life. The brisket is amazing! The pulled pork has been lovingly slow cooked/smoked for many hours. It's juicy, it's rich, yum, yum, can't stop eating it! Only minor comment is, I wish they had corn bread but, pretty f-ing amazing!!!

My husband and I ate here yesterday. The staff is very friendly! As for the food... It was delicious! I had the brisket sandwich and my husband had the pulled pork sandwich. We tried all three sauces, I think the red sweet sauce is my favorite but the Carolina is a close second. For a different taste, try the Alabama white sauce. It made a good fry dip sauce for sure! I definitely recommend Buck's Smokehouse!
