I absolutely loved this restaurant....as a hotel restaurant. If I was in Delray and not staying at the Marriott I doubt I'd eat in, but for a hotel restaurant it is perfect. There is a menu or buffet offering for breakfast, I recommend going for the buffet, even if you're not "that hungry" because it includes the cost of coffee and juice (which is pricey on it's own). The orange juice is absolutely delish, yummy Florida fresh squeezed and not like anything you can get outside of Florida. There is an omelette bar where a chef prepares an egg creation filled with your personalized ingredient list, and they are really good. There's also applewood thick cut bacon, oatmeal, danishes, waffle bar, croissants, cold cereal, soy milk, organic cow's milk, fresh fruit, variety of muffins, bagels, cream cheese, and smoked salmon with capers and onions! The atmosphere is hotel restaurant, with a variety of different types of customers....beach goers in sundresses and swim trunks, business men in suits, downtown delray shoppers and of course kids :) It's casual, but at the same time has an elegant feel.

-The Cafe is owned by two local girls, Liz and Jules and they're very friendly. The sandwiches are great. -They make their own pasta salads, potato salads & chicken salads. -They also have a few different soups thru out the week, all of which are made on
Ordered the paradise club sandwich, it was AWESOME!! no skimping on the turkey and avacado and the pasta salad was to die for! Recommend this place 100% and since I work in Delray, I plan on ordering lunch from there often!
Great little cafe in the Paradise Salon Bldg. in downtown Delray. A couple of local gals, Liz and Julie serve up fresh sandwiches, wraps and salads along with homemade soups and other delights. The club sandwich was excellent and the pasta salad was terrific too. Don't miss out on this little gem of a cafe!

A Alexander Event is phenomenal! Felix went over every detail with us to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. On the day of out wedding the staff couldn't have been more professional and courteous. A lovely server came over to us with a smiling face while we were taking photos and followed us around with a tray of food. I was blown away! When it started raining, Nelson's teams quickly moved not only their own tables but also helped the grooms father move his musical equipment. The bartender even stood out in the rain serving drinks for a while until it started pouring hard then he eventually went indoors. The food was excellent and everyone enjoyed their meals. We did have one undercooked dish, which was probably because we decided to start the dinnertime earlier than planned. Nelson quickly offered to replace with another. Patrick even signed our wedding caricature with well wishes which we thought was classy! The entire staff worked well as a team and responded to every adversity with speed and competence. For the money we spent we received much more than we expected. I would absolutely use A Alexander Event again and will recommend to all my friends! Edited to add: Our vegetarian guests were very impressed with the Eggplant Parmesan dish and its portion size (as all the guests were impressed with the other entrees as well)

Joseph’s Wine Bar & Cafe

Reviews:
What an exceptional experience at Joseph's today! Hubby and I dined here for a late breakfast/early lunch, and as it was our first visit, our only perception of what to expect was what we read on Yelp in advance. Joseph greeted us, sat us, made wonderful conversation with us, and sincerely thanked us for our business as we left. We really felt appreciated by him. Something to note is that the menu you will find online is somewhat outdated. When I mentioned that (after receiving the actual menu) Joseph told me that everything is made to order so I could easily order anything not on the menu as long as they had the ingredients. YAY for me! I ordered the Mediterranean Frittata, but added brie to it, and asked that the onions be red onions. No problem! The baked, hot, and bubbly frittata came out a bit later and was oooooh so flavorful! AND, the portion was MUCH more than I expected for a $10 menu item in Delray Beach. My husband loved his Mahi Mahi wrap, and also said it was very flavorful. A tip for future patrons: Allow plenty of time while dining here. This is not a, "Pop in for a quick meal" type of place. Walk in, relax, have good conversation, eat, drink, have more conversation, and make it an experience. Service is attentive, but not really quick, but that is by design. If you want "quick", this is probably not the right type of restaurant for you. We'll easily go back and will try dinner next time.
I hate to give this place the review it deserves because I enjoy being able to walk right in. This restaurant is the place I have always been looking for - great wine by the glass or bottle, impeccable advice and service, a small menu with only top selections, and fair prices. So yeah, it is Delray's best kept secret and my favorite place in town right now.
Food is great. I especially like the grape leaves. This is a really cute, small, quiet place nice for a date. Dim lighting and a very large wine selection.

My wife and I have gone here several times in the last couple of months. Not one bad experience. Food is great, beer, wine, and mixed drinks are very reasonably priced. The staff, especially the bar staff are fantastic. Richard & Marie Rainone DELRAY Beach
Get the fish and chips!!! Scotch eggs were a yummy start. The bartender (I believe his name was J.R. or D.J.) was super friendly and helpful. Decent selection of irish whiskey too!
Brilliant Irish pub. Took my parents there to eat and they can be a bit odd with food but they loved it. The food was amazing, big portion, fresh, and delicious. The service was great too and very friendly. Well worth the half hour drive. Can't wait to go back.

Great place! Its my new usual place for happy hour. I get to drink beer and play cards ( I'm 29 years old) Delicious food ( have grilled cheese sandwich of the day) a very wide eclectic selection of beers from IPA's to stouts to Shandy's and ciders. You just grab what beer you want from the cooler. No need to wait on A waiter or bartender.
Best food and beer in town. We got the cheese burger with bacon, risotto balls and buffalo wings. This place has all its ducks in a row.
The beer selection is decent. The atmosphere is good. Watch out for the prices though. It can get very expensive quick.

Stopped by for a quick cup of coffee and ended up sitting outside with a sandwich. The cafe has a funky, relaxed feel complete with games and books available for customers. My BLTA sandwich was good, though I wish they had listed the fact that they used a mustard spread because I definitely would have left that out for mine. They were kind of busy around 2pm on a week day which was surprising. Maybe 2 patrons inside and a few more outside? Only one woman working and she definitely seemed a bit frazzled, but was very nice. They serve Panther coffee which made me happy, so I'm sure I'll be back.
This is the sweetest breakfast spot in Delray Beach. I went there with a few friends and I could not be more thrilled with all aspects the service was amazing as well as, the food it reminds me of my moms cooking. I will now be a regular this is very affordable and a cozy atmosphere
This place is great. So much personality and style. It's so well hidden too. This place is perfect any morning. The tea and coffee and food. Whatever you get, you will love. High quality and great service. I come here with my friends every morning I can.

Excellent from the appetizers to the dessert!!! Best creme brûlée ever!!! Coming back !!!!
I can't give higher praise for a great meal- Not sure where to start. Hostess was friendly, server was experienced and very polite. Our dinner was perfect. I asked if the chef owned the restaurant, (he does) the food reflects the love and passion only a driven owner/chef can deliver. I don't get to the east coast often, so this was a really special treat for us. Now if they got a full bar here- a Bloody Mary with my little neck clams would have been epic. With that said, they do have a solid wine and beer menu. I highly recommend this restaurant.
It doesn't look like much from the outside but inside its a quaint little place with treasure to be had. For apps we had a goat cheese salad and the baked oysters both very yummy with texture and richness one would expect. Our entrees, both specials, were Ahi and grouper. The grouper grilled to perfection and the mahi while a little cold was topped with pickled onions and peppers in a wasabi hollandaise sauce, I cleaned my plate. A few things of note... The butter with the bread came out hard and was non spreadable. The lemonade was clearly some sort of coke or Pepsi product. The service was great but not very personable. Overall this little place is a gem in a sea of overpriced places trying too hard. Come here if you are relaxed and want to eat without wanting to be "seen". Great first or 50th date material.
