Terrible! Over priced and rude service. I was very disappointed. We had chicken parmigiana and eggplant rolitino. Both were very dry. We left both hardly touched. Waitress never asked why or if there was a problem with the food.

I would recommend it hands down but read more of my review on why this place should of wen a 3.5 score... For you guys that just want the goods and not read details here you go... Food 7.5 out of 10 Decor 9.5 out of 10 Clean 9.5 out of 10 Service 7 out of 10 read details on why bellow! Ok so I get here as a recommendation from a friend I stand at the door way for about 5-7 mins, the place wasn't full about three to four tables with family... I noticed a lot of employees but no one came to greet me so I grab my phone and start candy crushing it... Someone came up and sat me down and introduced me to my waitress named "jessi" very nicely dressed cute girl that was overly nice and explained the menu and pizzas.. I ordered the sampler I wanted to try as much as I could to review some of it. It brought firecracker shrimp which were a 7 out of 10. Fried ravioli which I enjoyed at a 8.5 out of ten, and there cheese stick which were good at a 8 out of ten. I then ordered a shrimp scampi pizza which was a 7 out of 10... This is where they screwed up they bring you your starters and less then 5 mins your pizza is there it got a little cold and made the good taste go away I feel.. They need to time that better even if the pizza is fast to cook you should give it a delay time of at least 10-15 mins... My server cane by twice to see if I was ok but then disappeared which was ok cause I was just fine but if I needed a refill which I didn't, would of been a pain. Now this is what I didn't like as I was eating trying to mind my own I can see and hear the staff gathering near the pizza station and seem to be laughing loud and talking gossip.. Let's get this straight you should have fun at work and we all know gossip can't be avoided but it could of been done away from customers and not in their eyes.. That right there kind of annoyed me and made my decision that this place has good food but the lack of professionalism which I did see some in my waitress but everyone else could learn some needs to up to par with such a nice establishment... Would I come back? Yes I would... I gave it a four for the food and my waitress and how clean it was but like I said before it deserves more of a 3.5...

Antonino's has a very nice atmosphere with beautiful decor. The arrangements were very comfortable. The hostess was a bit terse and indifferent when we were greeted. She made some conversation with us later on which made up for that a bit. Our waitress was pleasant and helpful and attentive. The food was tasty; we ordered a Cheese pizza and a Southwestern pizza. I wasn't a fan of the crust- it tasted like an English muffin. It isn't a bad thing but not what I expected for a pizza crust. We also had the loaded waffle fries. Those were very good as well. Expect to pay a bit more than other pizzas places but it's worth her the experience and the wood fire pizzas. Overall, Antonino's is worth a go.

Definitely would recommend but hope they iron out some kinks. We've eaten here twice now. The flavor in the food has been excellent, whether a pizza, sandwich or dinner. Service the first time was excellent; tonight's waitress was very nice, but half the time seemed lost in la la land. One thing that was disappointing (and I hope this gets worked out) was the timing of the food. My friend's dinner came out before he had time to finish his salad and before my pizza. His meal was very flavorful, pasta cooked just right, but even though it came out early, it was not as hot as it should have been. Also, a pet peeve of mine is when it takes too long to pay, which it did here.

Good food in a very noisy environment. Poor service from a waitress who, among other things, spent a lot of time explaining what she needed to do to get bread for us. We finally got a stingy portion of mediocre bread as we were nearly finished with the meal. The cheesecake was tasty but it should not be called New York Style (It was too high and fluffy as opposed to the compact creamy delight which we call New York Style Cheesecake.) The restaurant has the potential to be an above-average or excellent place. The decor is attractive. Some sound-absorbing ceiling treatments might bring the noise level under control. There needs to be more attention paid to meeting some expectations people have of what makes an appealing Italian restaurant starting with greeting customers with a generous basket of good Italian bread.

I can't tell you how excited I am to have this place in my little town of Debary! The location has been several different restaurants before that were not able to make it, but I really hope Antonino's is able to break the curse. Hubby, mother-in-law and I decided to check it out on a Sunday evening. It's located inside of a business complex, so it can be easy to miss...you have to go in the main entrance of the building, and then you'll see the entrance to Antonino's. Let me tell you, the whole restaurant is adorable! It's sophisticated, yet cute and cozy. There is a nice, long bar facing the pizza oven. The main dining room has a fire place and bookshelves...it reminded me of a study/library room from back in the day. I was slightly surprised at how crowded it was in there (not much goes on in Debary), so we took that as sign of good things to come. Beverage wise, they have a standard selection of wine and beer - a handful of them on tap. The food menu is about what you would expect for an Italian place. I got excited when I saw the pizza section because they had some fun topping combinations. I really wanted to try them all! The three of us decided to order a few different things to split. We went with the antipasto salad, sausage rigatoni and a specialty pizza. Not only was the salad pretty to look at, but it was delish! They definitely don't skip on the toppings - a nice pile of cured meat with cheese, roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, pepperoncini and olives. It had a very light dressing on the side which complimented the toppings without overshadowing them. The rigatoni was Hubby and mother-in-law's favorite. It had a nice tomato sauce with bell peppers and was loaded with generous chunks of sausage. My favorite was definitely the pizza. I don't remember the name of the one we ordered, but it was a Bianca base (mozzarella and ricotta) with garlic and lemon, topped with arugula and crispy prosciutto. Man was it good! In addition to the food, we each had two adult beverages. With all that the bill was only $66...not too bad for three entrees, four beers and two glasses of wine! Service was also very good. And what was the cherry on top for me was talking to one of the owners (who was also the hostess) on the way out. She gave us some neat history. It turns out that they are the ones who opened up Tony's New York Pizza in Orange City! She pointed to the back and said that was "the" Tony right there, busy making pizzas. I grew up in Deltona, and that used to be my favorite pizza place! Someone bought it from them awhile ago (makes sense as the pizza isn't as good anymore). Then they opened up Forno Bello in Deland. They only had it for a short time before someone offered to buy it from them. And now (lucky for me) they are here in Debary! If you live nearby, or are ever in the area, definitely check this place out. I look forward to going back and am excited to support this local gem!

They must have changed management or the chef. Food is not as great as it was when they first opened. The calamari is breaded with cornmeal!? Whyyy?

A true DeBary gem! The wood fired pizza's are amazing - personal sized (12"), and portions on their meals are generous. Prices are on point and the atmosphere is second to none. Don't pass this place up! My family and I are new regulars.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
