Ordered ravioli stuffed with mushrooms and arriatta sauce. Very spicy and so good! I'm planning on going back to try out one of their great looking salads.

Enjoyed A quick fix pasta dinner with my son. We tried the Spaghetti Carbonera and Chicken Alfredo. Both dishes were really good. Many options of Italian dishes to choose from and I love that the pasta is freshly made..Healthy options are offered which ia great. Atmosphere is cute and very clean. Located in an ideal area next to other restaurants. Will try next time red sauce pasta dishes...

I love this place. I visited for the first time today and the food is fresh and tasty. It took about 10 minutes to get a great fresh homemade meal. The large can feed 2, but it's so good you won't want to share!

Great food for great prices but beware that the people running the register have no idea what they are doing and charge you for their mistakes. We have eaten here 3 times because we enjoy the food but sadly twice we were overcharged because the cashier wasn't paying attention. So enjoy the food but check your receipt carefully.

First thing you have to know is NO PIZZA! This focuses solely on the pasta side, and i have to say it was a delicious experience. Americans are not used to a variety of pasta and sauces. We have developed a very simple palate for this dish, and equate only with red sauce and pizza. It was a pleasant surprise that they took pasta, and different sauces, to a higher level. Fresh and fast, I thought it was a great experience, and delicious sauces to be had. There is nothing about the exterior or sign that will draw you. You are simply going to have to go in and try based on the food.

I had a quick lunch with carbonara pasta which was delicious. The pasta is cocked perfectly and the sauce is rich and well balanced. The owner was very helpful describing the menu and making the whole experience feel authentic with her charming Italian accent. The price is a bargain for the excellent quality of the food. Definitely a great option for Italian food lovers

Ate here with a friend because I thought I was going to get fresh pasta that bucatini was not fresh, the Matriciana sauce was a huge disappointment too. I tried to get a salad with regular oil and vinegar because the Balsamic gives me a headache or vinegarette I can't believe it was unavailable. One thing being from NY I know good pasta--- this wasn't it.

Great, fresh pasta! The sacchetto Gorgonzola is amazing! Service is awesome and nice, casual environment. The best Italian in davie. Must finish the night with their tiramisu- you won't regret a single bite!

Absolutely love this place. Closest I've had to when I was in Italy. Huge portions great price and fresh.. Carbonara and lasagna are amazing!!!!!

It is what it is. I would not call 22.00 for two meals crazy cheap, but it is not bad either. The food was okay. The pasta is fresh which I love, but the sauces have little depth if flavor. It is really nice to be able to mix and match though. If the guy had asked us if we wanted to add garlic bread to our meal, they could have made more money. It is just hiding on the menu. The decor is good, but having us use plastic silverware while eating in kind of put the "Ghetto" in Spaghettos. I would come back. Probably not for another date night, but my 5 year old would love it.

Very good pasta, and well priced, nice people. I waited to review Spaghetto because I believed my first experience was not the best. I ordered take out, and I don't think what I ordered worked as a take out meal. Today, I ordered the Tortellino meat with Pink Sauce. Pink sauce was suggested by the server, and I had never tried it, so I went for it. This time, I opted to eat this in the restaurant, and I think I made the right choice. The pasta and sauce work much better together when eaten fresh on a plate, and not after traveling in a sealed container. This was a really good lunch and it was only $9, and like I saw another reviewer note, this pasta beats a lot of other places in the area charging way more. I ordered the regular size, and I was full before I could finish my plate. Also, as I was eating my lunch, I noticed the chefs in the kitchen preparing other orders and they were making everything fresh. They were great with the frying pans finessing the entrees out and back in the pans. Fun to watch, and it adds to the experience of eating out for me. Spaghetto's not fancy, but it's clean, and the piping hot food gets to you very quickly considering it is made to order. The people there are nice and very willing to help you decide what to order. They are in Davie just near Costco. If you are in the area, stop and try them for lunch!

The food Is Amazing Truly! It's fresh! They store it in the freezer everyday what is made because it has egg in it. I ate the Fusilli w/Alfredo sauce Reg portion and I barely made a dent! Next was a Meatball Sub! Oh so yum! We each had a fountain drink which are refillable. Great taste! Some places try to save by shorting how much syrup is dispensed. Not here! We received military disc of 10% Total was about $15 for everything. Yay! Yep! I got some to take home ;-) 1lb of Bucatini ---thin spaghetti which is hollow 1lb of red sauce w/basil. This was $11.11-no Disc. I didn't ask again. So generous earlier. Huge portions at great prices! Try it def worth it! It's made right in front of you. Now pasta daze... ;) PS tortellini is my next choice.... Foodie Here!!

This is on my list of Best New Ideas for Fast Food that is good and good to eat. The help is very friendly, all introducing themselves to me, certainly this will never happen at 99% of smal cafes in South Florida. The pasta is made by them and is excellent and so is the tea. They should open more of these little gems in upscale parts of South Florida and elsewhere if they will all be as well decorated and modestly priced with excellent Italian food. I was blown away.

This was my first of many visits to Spaghetto! We walked in and it was clean and casually cozy. The owner was helping someone on the phone but gave a smile and a wink, to acknowledge that he saw us walk in. He quickly took care of the call and stepped from behind the counter to greet us, tell us a little about the restaurant, explain how the menu worked and offered to answer any questions that we might have. We placed our order and the food quickly arrived and the hand rolled pasta was cooked to absolute perfection! The meats and sauces were also delicious! The owner also checked in again with us to make sure that we enjoyed our meal. All of this at fast food prices! I can't wait to go back!

Excellent fresh made pssta. Small place with no waitress service, you order at the cashier and they bring the food to your table. Good selection of pastas and sauces. You can also buy fresh pasta to cook at home. I really recommend this place

Best buccatini puttanesca I have ever had! Fresh (not dry or frozen) yes, FRESH delicious pasta cooked perfectly al dente and with such a flavorful sauce made with very high-quality ingredients (if you are a fan of capers, you know what a crazy-expensive costly ingredient they can be, but they were generous with them - unlike other restaurants). Francesco is the owner and he is so very welcoming and hospitable. John cooked my food to order and I could see and (more importantly) TASTE the care that he took with my meal. Thank you!!

We had been shopping at Costco and I did a search for nearby casual dining and Spaghetto popped up. It seemed to have a concept similar to Pipalito in Pembroke Pines which we recently discovered and happen to enjoy a lot so I convinced my bf to try it out. At 6:00 on Saturday night the place was completely empty so we crossed our fingers that this wasn't a sign of things to come. I asked if it is possible to order the chicken parmigiana with Alfredo sauce instead of red sauce. They looked at us like we had 5 heads but said they could do it. Since the kitchen wasn't busy whatsoever I had faith that they could concentrate on getting our order right and give it their undivided attention. The kitchen is in plain sight so you can see them preparing everything. When we arrived it looked like they were still prepping the kitchen... Made me wonder what time they opened since they seemed unprepared. Like Pipalito you pick your pasta, sauce, and protein. An added nice touch here is that they give recommended combinations. My standard test of any Italian place is the gnocchi which they did have on the menu but I decided to choose my other go-to favorite, the lobster ravioli with pink sauce. The food came out reasonably fast. The lobster ravioli/pink sauce was delicious and had a nice meaty filling. Nice portion size too. The chicken breast was not breaded to our liking but if you prefer a lightly floured and pan fried chicken parm then you will like this. Pipalito's is pounded quite thin which we like better. The Alfredo sauce is great! It was served over VERY al dente spaghetti. My bf usually has penne when we eat at Pipalito and is a creature of habit so he himmed and hawed a little at first... Then proceeded to clean his plate. When we left closer to 7 more people had come in. We only really eat in this area when we shop at Costco or the other stores in the area so we may return. In the meantime Pipalito it is.

The eggplant parmigiana was their special of the day. I ordered it and it was amazing!!! Honestly, it was the best I've ever had. Eggplant was tender, cheesy, and just the right amount of sauce! It is a must have! I've been there before and also love the lunch tomato and mozzarella sandwich. My husband and son love the fresh pasta!! Will definitely go again!

Great deal for some authentic Italian cuisine. Three stars because the Alfredo was bland. The chick parm was phenomenal.

My girlfriend and I stopped in late in a Saturday night and I can't recommend this place enough. It was a nice quaint atmosphere with delicious pasta and sauce. The service was fantastic and I felt like I had a personal connection through the conversation I had with the chef rather than a brief and mindnumbing exchange you'd typically have with a waiter. If you're in the area I'd definitely recommend it.

It is really hard to find good gnocchi in a restaurant so when I saw the review in the Sun Sentinel of this place I was very excited. Unfortunately my first visit was disappointing my gnocchi was overcooked and the carbonara sauce I had ordered was broken. I also felt $50 for three plates of pasta two salads and three sodas was a bit on the high side for what we got. It was worth a try but I will not go back.

Small clean place decorated w Italian essentials...wine and pasta. :-) They don't serve the wine, however. Our first time here and with our young ones we asked if they could try the pink sauce..they graciously made us some hot fresh sauce right on the stove in front of us so they could try it....really nice. We ordered two large dishes for the 4 of us. We kinda left hungry. Our fault? Not enough value? Not sure. Dish 1) Bucatini Matriciana. Pasta was al dente as it should be. Sauce had a nice flavor. But we felt the pancetta and onions were in too big of chunks. We would like to see these finely diced so that each bite of pasta had some of this in the sauce. This is considered a premium sauce, $2 more. Dish 2) Fuscili with the Pink Sauce. It was good just not overwhelmingly great. With the pasta is nothing else. No bread. No side, nada, or shall I say 'niente' So $9 for a bowl of pasta. I feel it should come with something else. I would like to give this 3.5 stars, but cannot due to Yelp ratings. But it's not a 4 in my books so I have to go with the 3. 4 is a place I definitely want to go back to, but this is a place that I will if I'm in the area...nothing I'm going to be thinking about for a long time. .

Fast food Italian is not something I'm used to, but was highly suprised at this location. In the Tower shops on the corner this restaurant must compete with a lot of other choices, but does so decently. Fresh food made to order and in front of you. To go orders are available and on time 4 out of 4 times as well as accurate even with the owner having a thick Italian accent. Lol Very friendly and food is good. They serve Coke products so a little sad about that lol. 2 small cons if it bothers you it deserves get pricey if you aren't paying attention and add on alot of extras 8.98 specialty pasta 2.00 special sauce 2.00 chicken 13.00 for a large bowl that honestly feeds 2. Not bad at all BUT I have heard people complaining in restaurant when ordering. Response to that is pay attention to menu when ordering. Website always down. Kind of a pain when calling from work and placing large group order. Response is I have a few copies of there menus in my office to be prepared. It's not your typical fast food prices but you are getting a decent quality of food. Garlic bread is good also. I recommend and will definitely be back. Till next time.

This place is worth the 5 star rating. Pasta is really really fresh, prices are reasonable and very friendly staff. I will keep coming here every time from now on instead of going to those supposedly "italian" (american) restaurants. If you want to eat fresh authentic pasta of all sorts of choices, I definitely recommend you come here!

Amazing food and you can't beat the price! Being Italian, it is very hard to find great food that compares to your dad's or nonnas but let me tell you this is amazing food that won't break the bank! Owners are from Calabria and really care about their customers, so what is not to love?

Stopped in yesterday with a friend who suggested it, as well as the Yelp reviews. They did not disappoint. It's a small establishment, the size of a small pizza place - and clean. The tables are simple wooden Ikea like tables, which is reminiscent of an old Italian backyard. You choose your pasta, your sauce (gravy for some of you), and any other meats you may want. .. meatballs, sausages, etc from the menu ala Chinese menu style - or any of the other main dishes that they serve. All reasonably priced. I chose chicken marsala from the main dish section as it was pictured on the menu, thinking that if it looks anything like the picture, I'll be quite happy. My friend ordered the main dish of chicken parmesan with gluten free pasta. They offer several types of gluten free pasta which is one reason we chose to go there. When the dishes arrived I was very, very happy. As you can see the portions are quite adequate even have enough for some to take home. The regular spaghetti which came with the Marsala was definitely homemade perfect I would say, and I'm Italian, not one to normally eat Italian food out. It had great texture, you could tell that it was not made in a factory. The chicken was seared just right, the mushrooms delicious, and the sauce was perfect. All this for under $10 My friend's dish was just as tasty - the gluten free spaghetti al dente, the sauce the right combination of sweet and tangy... perfect. Again, less than $10. I can't wait to go back. Nice owners...I would say father and son, very warm. Worth a visit.

Being raised by parents who are from Italy finding a great dish of pasta not prepared in my own kitchen has been challenging, until I found Spaghetto's. It is as Italian as it gets. The pasta is home made and the sauces are incredibly delicious, just as my mother would make. Each and every dish is prepared on the spot. The flavors are true to Italy. If you are looking for a casual place with outstanding food this is it. Reminds me of places I have visited in Italy. The owner is wonderful as is her staff. Just a great neighborhood restaurant!! If you are a foodie you must try Spaghetto's!

Out of curiosity, since it is fairly new, I went to Spaghetto in Davie. It was fair. I would agree that the staff was helpful with my decision-making process. I had a large bowl of pasta with chicken (extra $2). There were six larger then bite-sized pieces. There wasn't anything special about my experience. When I went to get a drink, both the ice tea and cherry coke had no syrup. The staff really didn't seem to care. I also found the chairs to be a little snug and certainly not the most comfortable. They also had a refrigerator on the floor with nothing in it. Hopefully these are growing pains. I will give them another chance in a few months.

Newly opened place. Next door to the new Burger Fi in Davie. Figured I'd drop in and check it out. Walk-up counter service. You pick your pasta, then your sauce, then you can add extras. The staff was friendly and helpful. One worker made some recommendations as I was trying to decide (he recommended the Carbonara and Alfredo, but I was more in the mood for tomato sauce than cream sauce). So, I figured I'd go for something simple. Bucatini with Bolognese sauce. I ordered the smaller size, since I had no idea what the order sizes were. (Plus, it was a weeknight and I don't like to be a total pig unless its the weekend). Total came to about $7. There are several tables if you want to eat in, but I took mine to go. Only took about 5 minutes and the order was ready. They packaged it up nicely in a covered plastic container and threw in some grated cheese on the side. I was really pleasantly surprised by the taste. Sauce was very good, pasta was cooked just right. Altogether, it was a really nice bucatini with bolognese that I would expect at a much higher end joint. Didn't taste at all like the awful stuff you get at places that try to do italian food in a fast food setting (Sbarro, I'm looking at you). The only regret I had was not ordering the daily special ($10 for small pasta, side salad and drink). The small pasta dish alone wasn't quite enough to fill me up totally. I think the salad would've made it just right. Oh well .. next time. I've withheld the 5th star because I've only had one dish here. I don't think you can drop 5 stars on a place that you've only eaten one thing at. But I'm looking forward to trying the rest of the menu and seeing what else they have to offer. Looks like this could be a nice addition to the neighborhood and a great place to get a quick pasta fix at without sacrificing quality.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
