I had such a lovely meal here. I came with my family who was in town for the weekend and of course we all had different opinions on what we wanted to eat. This place had a huge menu that had something for everyone. We caught them on a thursday and they have an incredible lunch menu for $5.99. I had the steak soup (I would totally just come here for this it was so good) with prime rib in it and a house salad. My brother ordered the full rack of ribs and let me tell you it was not a small portion by any means. The meat was falling off the bone and not over sauced. The cheeseburger was cooked to the right temperature and came with a generous amount of lettuce, tomatoes, and onion. They have a bunch of different potato options. The curly fries were great, as was the baked potato. I liked how they had trivia cards on the table to occupy your time. The decor is divey but cool at the same time because of all the fish and pictures on the walls. Our server Debbie was great, friendly and brought all the extra dressings and refills we asked for. They have these huge green cups that you take home with you and if you bring them back you get 50 cents off your drink. What a great way to inspire recycling. They also have a lunch card that after 10 lunches you get one free. Not a bad deal for such a variety of menu options at inexpensive prices.

Had the Talapia sandwitch and it was great! Bun was nice and toasted, fish was cooked and seasoned perfect!

It was an interesting place. The decor is super tacky but also authentic. The food is okay quality and cheap. The drinks are pedestrian but plentiful. The waiter was fall-off-your-seat hilarious. You probably won't have the waiter I got, but if you do... smiles are coming your way. I probably wouldn't go back because the line was ridiculous long (25mins) given the quality/value of the food.

Good wings at a high price. If you get wings to go, understand that you are going to pay extra to get them to go. This is something I do not understand at all. The few times I have eaten there, I walk away with the feeling that I just paid too much for what I got.

Pissed. I get it, it's Christmas day. You don't want to be there. But guess what?! You work in the service industry! Shocked? So yea, after driving around the city seriously over family food I saw that they were opened. I called in a to go order and went in to sit at the bar and wait for it. The bar was PACKED! Great for the bar tender, right? Not this guy, he's captain negativity! I sat down and told him I was waiting for a to go order and he walked away. I literally said to his back, "umm... Yes I'd love a beer while I wait!". He totally ignored me and literally bitched to the customers next to me about how much it sucked that he was there! Um jerk, if you wouldn't be such a douche you'd make a TON of money tonight! After the guy next to me, who knew the bartender personally finally flagged him down and told him I wanted a drink he graced me with a beer. Although continued to complain about how he was gonna "kill someone tonight". To which his friend responded, "should I leave you my gun tonight". Umm... Maybe I don't need those wings as much as I thought!!! So he finally brings me my food with the sauce soaked through the bag. Again another few minutes before he would even look at me and I just hold the bag up. He does apologize and grab the bag and disappear to the kitchen. It's long enough for them to re cook the entire order when he comes back with the order re bagged. I thank him and hand him my card. The tab was only $16 and I leave him a $10 tip and wrote "Merry Christmas, try smiling"! Shouldn't have but he was clearly a douche and maybe that would make him realize. Or backfire and think that even when he's a douche he can still get good tips. I get home and my damn wings have feathers on them still!! Not sure why I'm surprised! This place is a shit hole and so are their employees! Merry Christmas to me and my feathery wings! Don't bother. Go next door to the Ale House. They treat you human and feed you good food!

I figured i'd give it a shot. I mean how bad could it be. And those were my last words. Literally, I didnt have anything to say after that. The food was beyond "meh" it was i'd be reaching to call it "good" The food tasted stale, the waitress was rude Never coming back again..

This is one crappy place. My wife and I walked in on Sunday night at about 11:30. The place was quiet in terms of people, which is exactly what we were looking for. However, management insisted on playing at a not-so-low volume hip hop and club. I'm at a bar not a club! Service was terrible. The girl behind the bar should not be confused with a bartender - she's a beer slinger. The only redeeming quality of this dump is the drink specials: $1.59 Coors Light pints and $1.99 Michelob Ultra pints.

So this place is on like a strip of 4 sports bars, and is by far the best. The late night happy hour starts at 9 PM (241), and the food is always good and reasonably priced for the quality. If your inner fat child is whining, I recommend the nachos, ribs, chicken (in all forms), and burgers. If the fat child is still complaining, ALL of the desserts are awesome. The place is clean, the staff is nice, a manager will always check on your table at least once. I wanted to order the half chicken meal, and the server said it was off the menu b/c they didn't like the way the chicken looked when it came in, and refused to serve it. That speaks volumes about their commitment to customers.

If you love Flanigan's but hate waiting for a table at the Flanigans in Dade, you have to go to this one. Walk in and sit down. The wings with garlic were super yummy. The dolphin francais with the dirty rice was perfectly cooked. The kitchen was a little slow but the food was good and the waitress was quick and had everythink in check.

The worst service ever, never going back there. On top that we had to wait up to 15 min between drinks on an empty restaurant, we got a rude server that yelled at us after we complaint. The manager was too busy making social life with some people at the bar, never cared to come to the table to ask if we were doing ok, or what was wrong. Being right on front of us she choose to ignore us. According to the bartender the server had personal problems. Don't care for that.I don't blame the server as much even though she was rude, I blame the management more for having an employee working when they know they aren't mentally there and not paying attention to the customera. At least the bartender tried, she was nice and helped us a lot the last minutes we were there. The manager didn't even care. On top that we got no service and got yelled at by the server, 18% tip was included. So like I said... Never going back there again. There are many other flannigans around that are way better. Never an issue.

Chili's on steroids lol. At least that's what one of the waiters said when I asked about describing the place he worked...I know right....anyway it a pretty cool place. The ribs where ok just not a remembered experience i felt. the starters on the other hand had me wondering how to make them at home. Rib Rolls are just simply eggrolls stuffed with shredded rib meat, pulled pork, cheddar cheese, onions and secret bbq sauce. i gotta try this at home. it might be a great recipe for tailgaters who knows.....

It's a Flanigans; It's a chain. It works for cheap, quick lunch food when nothing else is around but I like Miller's better. The service at this one is not great. I asked my waitress about the $6.99 lunch special and she told me about the "tuna hoagie on the board." The tuna hoagie was very good and the waitress remembered I asked for my Caesar salad with no croutons or bacon. I was surprised when I got my bill and it was a lot more than $6.99 and when I asked her she was like you ordered the special. I thought that was a kind of sneaky up sell. Also, when I ordered the ice tea she asked if the green cup was okay (another sneaky up sell I didn't realize). I don't mind if you ask me about the up sell and I agree but don't force it upon me and after all that she actually forgot the drink and I had to ask the manager who was coming around asking how service was for the drink. Tricking me into the up sell seems more like a Miami trick than a Davie one. It really turned me off. I will go if I have to but if I have a choice I am going to Miller's. The Flanigans in the Grove is great.

I can't believe people even like this place. It's terrible. Tons of stuff on the menu but nothing good. My salmon was dry as a bone. The whole experience was awful. The longer I'm in South Florida, the more I see this chain and the more I wonder how there are so many of them.

6/22/2015 - I've never been to Fannigan's and I should be ashamed. My sister invited me to lunch and suggested we came here. As soon as we walked in, Kristin greeted us. Our waitress was equally awesome. I ordered the Texas Burger, HUGE. My sister ordered the Chicken Sandwich, HUGE. When the waitress brought it and asked if we wanted anything else, I said "an extra mouth". My burger was perfect, medium rare. Crumbled blue cheese and bacon...need I say more? I need to come back during a Nascar race, hopefully they will grant me my request. There are tons of TV's, cool atmosphere, friendly staff. Next time, I'll go check out the bar area and see what they have on Tap.

They give you a souvenir cup to take home if you get a soda or water. The happy hour specials were pretty good (even though we were too early for happy hour which started at 9 pm). I had the ribs with curly fries, and it was delicious. They also had wing specials (Wing Wednesdays) where you could get 10 free buffalo wings with a pitcher. The service was kind of slow though. We waited a while for our check.

Never experienced such bad service in my life. We got the server named Kris. Didn't seem all there when we talked to her. My family finished their meals before my food came out. When we asked her about it she looked at us and walked away. On top of the bad service my order was wrong. I order lemon chicken pasta and it has no taste. The sauce tasted like warm milk....saddens me to say I'm never Going there again.

First...Not sure why they call this a seafood bar and grill because their seafood options leave much to be desired. Nevertheless, went here with two other couples for dinner after a night of bowling. Their tv setup is great. The game was on and no matter which direction you sat in, you could see what was happening. Unfortunately, that meant we had a 20 minute wait for a table. Not a bad deal at all for a decent sized group. The wait to be greeted after sitting, however, is the kind of stuff that pushes my buttons, but I was hungry and it was getting late. Server came over and took drink and appetizer orders. By this time we also knew what entrees we wanted so we ordered everything all at one time. This may have overwhelmed her, because it took forever to get our drinks. And from there pretty much everything moved slowly. In the girls defense, she was pleasant and tried to tell jokes and make small talk while we waited. Unfortunately, we were a crew of hungry people and she wasn't that funny. What saves this review is my personal entree. I ordered the Texas Burger with no bun and extra lettuce. It came out just how I ordered it and was quite tasty. I ate every single piece and had not one complaint. All the fixins worked with one another and the patty was cooked perfectly. My husbands burger on the other hand - not so good. Luck of the draw I guess. Overall, not a bad place for decent food and watching sports tv. I've been here a few times and its never been a horrible experience. I will likely return. Just next time, I'll be prepared for the wait on game night.

I have been to many flanigans. This Flanigans has to be the most top notch one yet. When I came in it was slammed with guests and orders were taken prompt and with ease. My bartender " lil nikki " I wish I could bring her with me to all bars to be my bartender she is sweet and fast. This is coming from someone that know what it is like to be at the intense Hialeah and laugerhead stores. Other Flanigans should take a page from this store and build from there, "Lil Nikki" is on fire!

You must try the Shrimp Pesto Pasta! My kid loves the live fish tank and all the fish on the walls, plus we can leave with little plastic cups, kids get temp tattoos and loud music so it drowns out their fighting or wining! :) (if you're a parent, you understand! ) Booths are huge do it's great for a large group and the Nachos are rediculous!!! :)

If you are a black person, this is not a place for you. They absolutely dont care to have us here. My drink was not made the way i wanted it and there was absolutely no courtesy, instead the manager was senr over to tell me it was made right....#flannigans in Davie Florida

The food here is a hit or miss depending on what dish you order. It is never horrible per say, but some dishes are just really bland, while others are very tasty. The staff is very nice, and the food and drinks reasonably priced. It's my favorite place for happy hour. Order the wings :)

I feel like it is kinda pointless to review chain restaurants because chances are most people go for the name. Anywho, I had a good experience last time I was at this location. We went in close to closing time so the waiter was kind of distracted but very friendly (and kinda strange lol) The one thing i like about Flanigan's is the healthy options. I ordered some fish (which was great) and veggies. I was happy to see that the veggies weren't smothered in butter like other places. Way to keep it fit! It was the perfect refuel I was looking for after an intense Circuit class at NSU!

Gosh Golly when are we going to be able to do half stars! This was a 3 and a half star experience for me, but I shudder to give it a 4, b/c it wasn't that good. We went here last Friday with a group of friends. Got there at 7 pm ish and the parking lot was completely FULL, they have the old car show at this shopping center on Friday nights and they had reserved parking across the street from Flanigan's for that. I had to park way, way, way down the street, basically behind Ale House...that sucked. I walked in and quickly learned that the wait for 4 on a Friday night was 25 mins or we could be sat immediately outside on the patio. Now it's finally starting to cool off and they have a million fans outside so I opted for outside (there wasn't any seats at the bar to sit and wait at either) so the decision was pretty easily made. They also have a ton of TV's outside and another little bar...one can also smoke on the patio if one so chooses to. Our waiter was kicka$$, I can't remember his name, but we didn't want for a single thing- he was on top of it! What really was startling here was the music, inside they have a digital jukebox where patrons can choose (and pay) for the music they prefer to listen to. Our selection happened to be deep dark, pumping house techno music that I had never heard of ..but it was LOUD and it was AWFUL and we couldn't make it stop. Thankfully, after about an hour someone else's musical selections took over and we could again think. My suggestion here is to removed these types of songs from the jukebox holy cow I felt like I was at a really bad rave. Food was bar food, drinks were cold, and water glasses were always full. With that said, I'm totally going back!

We came here for St Paddy's Day and suprisingly they still had their normal Happy Hour Specials. We got lucky and scored a few seats at the bar. The lines were long and at one point the wait for a table was over 2 hours. We split the Corned Beef dinner special for $14.99 and it was plenty for 2 people. The staff was great despite the long lines and huge crowds. Overall it was allot of fun and didn't break the bank

Since the first time I came I have had three horrible experiences there. Their service is terrible. The last time we went the server was so overwhelmed and didn't greet us for about 10 min. She took our appetizer order and we managed to finish it and about 5 min after that she finally came to take our dinner order. There was a spill in the main walkway of the restaurant and hostesses, servers and busses continually walked past it until someone finally came and cleaned it up. Not sure we will be returning.

I stayed in Davie while in Florida for my friends wedding and out of all the restaurants we ate at for dinner during our trip, I would have to say Flanigans was the best food with the best value for your money. I totally wish they could bring Flanigans to southern California! Wings Wednesday --- who would not want a free basket of wings with your purchase of a pitcher of anything?!?! Need I say more? Great dinner specials --- I ordered the shrimp dinner and it was great, came with this ginormous ceasar salad topped with bacon (yummy!) and this awesome bread. Great service and plenty of TVs around to catch the game going on. I was extremely full and satisfied with my meal at Flanigans and wondered, why oh, why cant Los Angeles have deals and great food like this in the numbers that you find in Florida?

Flanigan's is one of my usual lunch go to places for their $5.99 lunch specials but they are also awesome at dinner and late night. Came in here with a big party once (around 15+ people) without calling first and the staff was amazing. They fit us all on the patio at one table and even sat another 10+ person seating right after us. Both with minimal waiting. Our waitress was great. Didn't mix up anyone's food or drink order and had a sense of humor the whole time. Tip: Try the rockin rib rolls. Who knew bbq ribs in egg roll form could be so good.

Not bad, but a little strange. I think the food was pretty average and the service was good. The strange part was how it reminded me of TGI Fridays or something like that. I have no complaints as we were seated right away, received what we ordered and had what we needed. The vibe seemed like it was a bit like everyone just returned from a motivational speaking seminar. I think friendly service is great, but this just seemed over the top to me, that it didn't feel warm but tedious. The only person that seemed "normal" was the trainee with our server. He was actually nice without being overwhelming. I hope they don't ruin him. We both ordered a cheese steak and they were pretty good, so no complaints on the food. I will just have a hard time coming back here for lunch. It's loud and hard to hear. I feel like when someone is performing that hard I have to react accordingly and that's more focus than I really want to offer during my lunch hour.

So I saw a friend post nachos from Flannigan's on their Facebook page last week and it put me in the mood. On Mondays, you can get a free order of nachos with the purchase of a pitcher (beer, soda, lemonade). The boyfriend and I decided to try it out. I'm not much of a beer drinker but we ordered Blue Moon and our nachos with chili on the side (I don't eat red meat). I inquired about getting chicken but they're strict with no substitutions. I asked if I could just order a chicken breast and the waitress said she would have to charge me for a chicken sandwich with no bun and no sides but I'd still be paying about 7.99 for a breast of chicken. Do I have STUPID written on my forehead?!? I opted to just have plain nachos while the bf ate the chili (which he said was average). Btw, plenty of restaurants have accommodated me with plain chicken breast (when I ate clean) for a few dollars. I also ordered a side of pasta salad ($2.49). I usually order this as my meal and it's delicious but this time it left very little to be desired. About a measely quarter cup of overly cooked and soggy noodles with one red onion. I could make a whole pound of pasta for that price! The bill was about $18. Honestly, I'd rather go to Ale House next door and get chicken nachos of the same portion and better quality ($9.99).

Best trip to Flanny's ever thanks to Brian/Brandon (sorry I can't remember his name) He made my Dad's first Flanny's trip the best and made my Dad super comfortable by trying (hence the word TRYING) to speak spanish. I thought it was amazing, my Dad can be quite the cheapo but left a $15 tip, just because of how nice our server was. Dad had the Mahi Mahi, delicious, grilled to perfection. I had a full rack of ribs with curly fries, yummmmmmmmmy. Would definitely recommend this location again just because of the amazing service.

Wow a $5.99 chicken sandwich with a side as long as you buy a drink. Sandwich and service was good. Would come back for lunch.

This is more of our "let's go drinking" bar instead of "I'm really hungry, let's go eat" place. They usually have really good happy hour specials and their regular drink specials are decently priced anyway. My daiquiri the other day was $2.50 (although it was pretty weak). The other day when we did go for food, they were running a deal where if you bought a pitcher for $12, you got 10 free wings (which normally run 10 bucks anyway) so that seemed pretty good. This is mostly a seafood place but they do have salads and steaks-the BF got the prime rib and it looked good to me and he enjoyed it but it wasn't the best steak in the world. It's clearly not their specialty. This is clearly not a "fine dining" place either, it's more of a casual sports bar type of place. People tend to park it when bigger sporting events are on and drink. We tend to come here with larger groups of people post-exam and just order drinks since most of us can walk home. They let you keep the giant plastic cups the sodas come in, and if you bring them back the next time you come in they will knock 75 or so cents off the drink price. I have about a dozen of these cups and forget every time-since going here is usually spur of the moment anyway. I like the casual atmosphere and the drinks here, the food is a tad overpriced for what it is in my opinion. For seafood at a better price, I go to quarterdeck a few blocks down.

Can't believe I've never eaten here before! Honestly so impressed. I've always had the impression that this place had basic bar food, but they have so many FRESH and TASTEFUL entrees to choose from. Although I loved everything I tried tonight my favorite item on the menu by far was the fire cracker shrimp!!! Only complaint was my bfs burger was cooked wrong but the staff were so amazing and they fixed it right away, they are also all super friendly. I will definitely be back !

This was our third visit to a Flanigan's, second to this particular location. Unfortunately this was also our going away dinner, leaving Florida in the near future. The evening turned out to be an awful experience. The waitress was surly, rude and incompetent. They were out of the fresh tuna, what we had gone wanting for our last Florida seafood experience. We had to get up and acquire our own place settings. One guest's wine was delivered halfway through the meal. It was totally unacceptable service and left us very disappointed. If I were remaining in the area, I would not go back.

Very bad experience today at the Flannigan's in Davie Florida. A very inexperienced manager caused a situation that should not have happened. Florida State Seminoles versus the University of Florida we're playing and he refused to put the sound on for the game over the speakers in the restaurant. He informed all the guests that were complaining it was company policy that they were not allowed to put the sound on for the game because of the fact that it wasn't the Miami Dolphins, Miami Heat, for the Miami hurricanes. Multiple guests got up and left and close their tabs as soon as they were told this. Multiple multiple regulars were asking for this to happen over a significant period of time. It took myself going up to all the managers standing in a group to get them to even consider putting the sound on for the game. The manager trying to accommodate everybody only put the sound on outside and did not put the sound on in the rest of Restaurant. As soon as the sound was put on outside for the game it was just about halftime, Most of the guest inside came outside and wanted to watch the game with the sound. Very disappointed to see that a Florida team in the Florida bar was discriminated against because of the fact it wasn't within a 50 mile radius of the bar. Very inexperienced manager lost a lot of business and pissed off a lot of customers today because of the fact he did not want to "" get in trouble. Makes me wonder if I want to come back and go to a Flannigan's for watching any other sport if this is how they're going to treat any other team fans other than the ones that day personally want to choose to support. Sports fans be ware this may not be the right place to go and watch any team play other then the Miami Dolphins, Miami hurricanes, and the Miami Heat. I hear Duffy's sports bar and Grill is a little bit more accommodating and I think I will give them a chance for the Georgia Tech game coming up next Saturday!!!

If you have been living in South Florida for a while then you don't even need to read this review, you already know the greatness that is Flanigan's. As soon as you walk in you are bombarded with all of the best things that make South Florida a place like no other. It's all about that "salt life". I see some negative reviews on here and it makes me think that people just don't get it. Whether it's the ribs, the burgers, the chicken philly, the one-of-a-kind rib rolls, or any of the other delicious options on the menu, you just can't go wrong. However, for my money, nothing, I repeat, NOTHING, beats the wings. You have to get them spicy garlic. You will order this and then you will thank me. They are the best of the best. I have friends who have moved away who say there is just nothing like these wings. They are fat and juicy and you will want more and more. Do not get them breaded, that's just silly and unnecessary. As if that wasn't enough, the happy hour starts at 9pm everyday and just about everything is 50% off. From beer to margaritas, it's a great deal. They also have deals every day of the week, things like free loaded nachos with a pitcher, something like that depending on what day you go. There are plenty of tv's, great atmosphere, fun for all. It's a great south Florida establishment and if you don't like it then there's not much I can do for you, good luck to you. As for me, I always know what i'm getting at Flanigan's and i'm never disappointed. Cheers.

Went for dinner last night. We were starving! We ordered multiple drinks, appetizers, sandwiches with lots of special requests. Our server, Kyle, was a trooper and on top of it. Good service! My boyfriend did order his Mahi Mahi blackened and it came out looking only "grilled" but Kyle quickly fixed the problem. Overall a very good experience. One thing i noticed: 7:00pm on a Sunday evening, about 8-9 tables in our section of the dining room, it was the ambience of a church. Maybe the music was too soft or something but i would expect a little bit more upbeat vibe. It was a mixed crowd of families, young adults and couples... Just a extremely quite atmosphere.

I really liked this place, for years! Until I was there and witnessed a server dry her arm pits at her station and then serve my parents food. Not cool, nor will I ever step foot in that restaurant. I didn't want to make a big issue, instead we all didn't eat.

Flanigan's has been serving pretty damn good food for years. This place was packed for lunch when I went so my buddy and I sat at the bar and ate lunch, Service was fast and friendly. The beers were cold and on special. We both got the tuna philly hoagie which is awesome if you haven't tried it! Flanigan's is a great choice for lunch, happy hour or a place to load up before a night of binge drinking!

Happy for happy hour. Close to work. Friendly people. Old school atmosphere. Good wings. Like the potato skins...order loaded baker as entree side. Only seem to have apps here. If your a beer drinker get the pitcher and whatever daily FREEBIE comes with it - one day wings, nachos etc. Can't be beat!

I've been hitting this place up for years. Only now posting a review after some time - ask for Sarah as your server, bartender - whatever. If she is involved, she will genuinely look after you. Sadly, my server this occasion was uncommonly useless. But again, maybe for the 6th time - Sarah brought it back. Ribs, wings,Texas burger, mahi sandwich, Jameson after 9pm. Can't go wrong. Especially if Sarah is there.

Excellent Service on three visits so far. Food is fresh, I had the Blackened Tuna Hoagie on which they never skimp on the Tuna, Rib Rolls are classic, my friend has had their Burger which she said was "delish", and the Mahi Sandwich which was very fresh. Great Experience overall. Sorry Chilis, Applebees,BJs and other Sports Bars in this category, You're Fired!!

Visited this heart-attack-inducing restaurant today. Right now, I feel like walking cholesterol and everyone in the restaurant seemed like they wanted to personify diabetes. But... sometimes I have to follow co-workers to dinner, and this is where they brought me. The restaurant is dark inside, has a bar on one side, and a dining area on the other side. It made me feel like I were in the Florida Keys... everything seemed to be about fishing! Upon being seated: "Hi, my name is X and I will be your server today. Today's specials are (....) and blackened dolphin." Say WHAAAT? You mean those cute animals that talk to us and don't mind 300 lbs men and women holding onto them while they swim at Seaworld?? Heartless Floridians! Don't they know how cute Flipper is? Whatever. I watched co-worker #1 eating a massive amount of wings which looked nothing like the wings at Buffalo Wild Wings in Brooklyn! My other co-worker ordered some burger, which didn't look very exciting. I ordered one of the pasta dishes. I can't remember the name... Imagine a redneck from the woods trying to cook an Italian dish: this is what it tasted like.

This is hands down one of my favorite places to come for food and drink. Whether I'm looking for somewhere to sit alone and watch the game with a meal or a place to bring a group of people for drinks and socializing, Flanigan's has always been a trusted staple of mine. This location in Davie is top notch. They have a gorgeous saltwater aquarium right behind the hostess stand and their food is fantastic. Prices are totally affordable and the restaurant is clean. Highly recommended.

Good food, service is ok too, but we thought the drinks were watered down.

Live close by. The place is really good, I am very picky and kinda anal where I eat. This location is really good and if u notice, the mngt micromanages their servers to the point u kinda feel sorry for them. The food is always good and fresh -havent tried seafood-

Raucous at times and often noisy and vibrant, this is a great place for a quick bite of quality bar food. Wings are always freshly cooked, crispy, and tasty. Mahi-mahi is guaranteed fresh in this region and Flanigan's doing a great job cooking it. Repeated trips so far, never a disappointment. When the place is packed and the wait is long, there is a quieter Flanigan's 15 minutes west, in Weston.

Flanigan's is a South Florida chain which serves American fare with an emphasis on seafood. Reasonable portions, and more importantly reasonable prices make them good for hanging out with friends or family. I haven't found much difference between the different locations, and the Davie location didn't disappoint. Our server was pleasant and knowledgeable and the booth, menus and bathrooms were nice and clean. For starters we had the garlic rolls, which are just white dinner rolls topped with butter and garlic, but they do taste good. Sodas come in the iconic Flanigan's giant green cup, which is great because you rarely have to bug your server for a refill. On the upside, my dolphin (that's mahi-mahi, not Flipper) sandwich was great - the meat was very juicy and tender. The prime rib also got a thumbs up from my friends. A half rack of ribs was done just right, with a nicely congealed sauce. More BBQ sauce is on every table right next to the ketchup. Fries were hot and crisp. On the downside, the fried dolphin was too heavy with breading and a little overcooked, and the chicken wings apparently had a sauce which was "halfway between teriyaki and barbecue" that just didn't taste right.
