Esposito’s New York & CoalFired Pizza Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

I've only had delivery from this place and have never stepped foot into the restaurant before so this review is solely on the delivery. Delivery was pretty fast. I ordered quite a few things and it was good, BUT the fettuccine alfredo - HOLY SHIT! Butter overload! So much butter that I can't even taste any of the cheese. Wish they had made that better because it was the only thing I really wanted to eat. :(

Comfortable seating with great service. Coke was flat. New York style pizza & coal wings were average, nothing special.

Shortly after this restaurant opened we went in and enjoyed their coal fired pizza and wings. Then we tried their killer roasted beet salad and eggplant stack. We were loving it there - until we went on a night when a large party sat near us and the men on opposite ends of the table were screaming and carrying on. One of the women in the party tried to calm them but they were obnoxious. The servers were kids and huddled together, unsure of what to do. We scarfed our food, had the rest packed up and our server walked us out, apologizing for the behavior of the people next to us. We just didn't want to go back. It was an uncomfortable night and we really didn't think the servers would handle it any better in the future. Then today hubby and I returned. The piano music sounded live - they have a great sound system. The textiles of the dining room are top-notch. It's evident they poured money into this restaurant. The men by the coal oven were hustling and our server, Bob, was an adult. The patrons today were well-behaved so we were able to focus on the great food. Their garlic rolls tasted freshly made and had fresh garlic on top - not a ladle of garlic oil. The coal-fired Margherita pizza had ribbons of fresh anise-flavored basil, diced tomatoes and mozzarella cheese. It also had red sauce and while it was a delicious pie with a thin crust, I'd have preferred it without the sauce. Next time I'll request that - although hubby likes sauce so I'll ask that half the pie be sauce-free! One of their specials was cioppino - lobster tail, large shrimp, mussels, clams, fish fillet and calamari in a rich tomato broth. It had four long pieces of bread standing up along half the bowl. The fish and seafood were tender and tasty. The lobster stuck to the shell but the bits I got out were sweet. We only had 3 pieces of pie and a bit of the cioppino so we have plenty of leftovers. The food was solid. Bob's service was friendly, attentive but not clingy. The restaurant has a nice ambiance. It's worth going back - and I'm very glad that we did.

Always looking for a delicious coal fire pizza that delivers to my. Found this one on yelp and gave it a try on my Carb Day! (one day a week, so I am really expect to be satisfied!) I was a little disappointed. The pizza was not fully cooked and was still doughy in the middle. I think they probably were just rushing to try to get us our food in time (we ordered delivery) but I would rather have waited an extra 10 min than get a pizza we ended up not even eating more than a slice each off. Since I only get one carb day a week, chances of me going back here is really low. Hopefully others have a better experience.

Attempted AGAIN to order via phone for delivery and got the same rude female I had gotten before !! Come to find out she is The Manager !!! I see other people have had the same problem with her , maybe that's a hint to get a new one . Needless to say I cancelled my order and WILL. NEVER. Order again and it's a damn shame. The food is really good

Excellent place for traditional New York and coal fired pizza. I haven't tried their other dishes but they look and smell great. Great lunch deals and good service. I'm really picky about food.

There is no way this pasta is made on premise. The sauce is awesome though and those garlic knots are out of this world. You bite into whole chunks of garlic -- so at least you know it didn't come out of a jar -- and you're like, "whoa! that is way too daggum much!! quick, hand me another one." I guess it's kind of like curry or horse radish or something in that way. Sometimes less is more.. sometimes more is way, way better. Anyway, I ordered from them for the first time yesterday. I'm thinking about ordering again today just to double check if this is going to be my go-to... the phone girl was kind of bitchy which annoyed me. I'm from the south, I am accustomed to details like that. I realize south Florida isn't really considered "southern" because all of the northern people move down here to retire and basically ruined that, but I digress. I will say her attitude is what kept this review from being four stars, so however little those exchanges are with customers, that's how much they count. I just wish my Fiocchi was cooked all the way through.. I sopped up that sauce that came with my daughter's stuffed shells though with that phenomenal garlic knot. Like I said, I'll order to sample again. The gyro was delish -- my kid snagged all of my pita from the sandwich, which I understand *is* house made (so that explains that). Also she got to the cheesecake before I could but for an 8-year-old I hear good things :p Upon further research they outsource this item from The Cheesecake Factory.. um, thanks? The Cheesecake Factory doesn't deliver so.. I dunno.. I hope the owners would consider taking a pasta class because if they can do it on Chopped in half an hour, why make your customers eat frozen? *****Coal fired wings are outstanding***** WINGS, People!!! Coal-fired WINGS!!!

Beautiful atmosphere, stunning furniture, food is amazing!!! Definitely will be back!!! Don't judge it by the outside since it is in a strip mall, believe me it's great food and you will love it! Bravo 5 stars!

We've previously ordered takeout from this restaurant, so on the way from the airport we decided to go in and have a sitdown meal. Well upon entering there were plenty of workers around, plenty of empty tables as well. The absence of a welcome greeting, was odd. Thats the best way to describe the feeling. It was not until we had wandered into the middle of the restaurant and voiced aloud... Is there a hostess? At once a someone appeared and a voice announced from behind to sit anywhere we would feel comfortable. Now on to the food garlic rolls were very good. Aranci balls were delicious, Fettuccini Angelica was good but overpriced. I think we will just continue to order take out. In the past the pizzas we picked up were delicious and worth the prices. As for our dinner tonight, I found the service subpar and the food was good but highly overpriced. But maybe it was an off night.

Being from NY- coal fired pizza isn't really my thing. I was not impressed by their NY style pizza. I have only ever gotten pizza here so I can't comment on any other food. Good service, food came out quick.

The pizza was good thin and crispy. But the lobster ravioli was fishy, don't order it. The staff is good and service is good.

Unfortunately the lady that runs the place is unappreciative of our company providing her with non stop business. Officially over this place and their ridiculous antics. My company orders from their all time (we are located in davie). From small business to small business, you should learn how to treat your long term customers. There are weeks we order from there three times a week and that's not to mention the ten pies of pizza we order from there every other week when we have meetings. Customer service goes a long way, good luck to you! As a small business, i know what it is like to receive reviews like this. The food overall is good but one would think that treating regular customers in a friendly matter is important in order to keep them happy.

I love this place, classy inside great wait staff and pizza that never disappoints. I've gotten the Bianca (picture) the veggie and the house pie. They keep me coming back!!! Come try and fall in love

THANK YOU, ESPOSITO , for making me a DELICIOUS pizza the weird way i ask for it(light cheese and extra sauce).i know pizza places do not like to make their pizza differently than their recipe but these guys do and i LOVE IT. So thank you, we will be ordering from here until they deny us!

I dont understand how this place has any bad reviews. I ordered pizza from here maybe 5 weeks ago and it was amazing. The garlic rolls were great. I again visited and actually sat down for dinner. The mozzarella sticks were good. I had no problem with them. They were actually better than the ones they serve at the cheesecake factory. I also ordered the same coal fired pizza and it was good. So again I went sat down for dinner recently. I ordered pasta and so did my date. We both loved it. He ordered the penne alla vodka and he said it was great. I ordered the baked ziti and it was amazing. By far one of the best baked zitis I've ever had. My salad was great. It tasted very fresh. The dressing was flavorful. The garlic rolls here are amazing. I love them. They are very garlic-y so if you only like a little garlic then you might not like them. I love tons of garlic on them so its okay with me. I would recommend this place to anyone. Our waiter was amazing. He was super nice. He was very attentive.

I was going to try this place out for the first time tonight. I placed an order for delivery and waited 1 hour and 15 minutes until I called to check what happened with my order. I was put on hold for 6 minutes until the manager got on the phone. To my surprise she was very rude about the situation and denied the fact that it had been so long. I would not have had a problem if she would have simply apologized over the phone. After she argued with me I simply cancelled the order. I do not think it is normal to wait 2 hours for a pizza to be delivered If you are thinking about trying this place I hope you don't have to deal with the same problems. I do not recommend this place and I hope the manager learns how to treat customers with respect.

This place is more of a 3.5, but I'm rounding up because I thought the service here was really good. We had a larger party, some large food requests, and asked for the bill a couple times, because someone kept changing their mind about dessert. The waiter didn't bat an eye and was very accommodating. It looks a lot nicer on the inside than the outside, with a lovely ambiance and what appears to be a recently remodeled interior. We got some of the appetizers, fried calamari, fried zucchini, and fried mushrooms (it was a lot of fried things...). Calamari was good, but the other two were a miss. I didn't like the fried mushrooms because they were so caked in batter that they were essentially fried balls of dough. I was slightly hoping for bigger mushrooms that were lightly battered and fried, with a vinegary garlic sauce, but clearly, my idea of what I think fried mushrooms are just set me up for disappointment. I ordered the coal-fired prosciutto and arugula pizza, and for dessert, had a cappuccino. Both were good and I would say this is one of the better places for pizza that I've been to. I also tried the Margherita and thought that was tasty. My companions had the Oreo cheesecake, cannolis, and Tiramisu. I didn't try the cannoli, but I was told by the New Yorker at the table that is was one of the better ones in this area. Overall, come for the pizza and dessert, and you should leave satisfied.

I was in the mood for some New York style pizza so I said why not?! I'll give Esposito's a try. Never again. Why is a 2 liter soda $3.25?? That is ridiculous!!!! I bought it anyway so I guess I shouldn't complain. I ordered a 12 inch cheese pizza. Nothing too complicated, right?! Well, the pizza was cheesed (lol, wrong word?) properly and had the perfect amount of sauce, but if that's the best thing I can say about pizza then the owners have failed me. It was nice and thin and hot when it arrived, but lacked something. It lacked taste. It's currently in my oven; I ate 2 slices because I am pregnant and hungry, but I will save the rest for my husband. I will stick with Angelo's Pizza in Davie, it isn't necessarily New York style, but it's much better than Espositio's. Also, there is a nice pizza place on Hollywood Beach (can't remember the name), but they are really good! I will go there the next time I am in the mood for pizza, which won't be long, because it's all I crave these days. Grrrr. My fellow yelpers let me down on this one! Oh well... You win some, you lose some.

I cam to Esposito's once, many moons ago, and then again just last week. The place was completely different than I remembered, but in a good way. I guess they have remodeled recently and the restaurant looks really nice... almost too nice for its location in this Davie strip mall. Looks like the menu underwent an upgrade as well, and they offer some shmancy dishes more than just the standard chicken parm or spaghetti, etc. The prices seemed a bit on the higher side though considering location and whatnot. On this particular occasion though, I just ordered pizza. We ordered the 12-inch and it was definitely more than enough for two gals to share. I have a feeling a guy would prob need at least a whole one to himself though, but for $7.50, you really cannot beat it. And it was really good pizza too. I was skeptical that for that price we were going to get something comparable to Little Caesars or some other cardboard-esqe pizza, but it was actually right up there and pretty distinguishable which is kind of hard for pizza to be. It got my regards. The service was meh, but it didn't really matter... just fill up my water, bring me pizza and then take my money and we're good. Don't even do it with a smile, see if I care.

I ordered from this place for the first time tonight, and it will definitely be the last time. I ordered a large pizza half bacon and half veggie (tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, spinach, and olives). I also ordered the jalapeno poppers. I paid $33 for this. I received a sloppily-made pizza that was half bacon bits (not even real bacon) and half sun-dried tomatoes (I DESPISE sun-dried tomatoes), spinach, mushrooms, and zucchini. It was cut into six normal-sized slices and two tiny slices. The sauce had a really nasty flavor. One of the jalapeno poppers had no cheese in it. I called the manager to tell her about my experience and I was not even offered a partial refund. She told me there was nothing she could do. I will not be ordering from this place ever again.

I have been going to Esposito's pizza for several years. I do believe that they have the best pizza in Broward County...and I am originally from NY (for what it's worth). They remodeled and the restaurant is very nice. I would score the service at about a 90 out of 100.

I ordered 2 desserts from this place. They were delivered stale and old. I took one bite and almost vomited. It tasted of chemicals and plastic. Absolutely disgusting. God only knows how old they were or where it was kept.

I was so excited to see the new and remodeled Esposito's today. I stopped in to grab lunch today and decided to stay because it was so beautiful on the inside. The service was great. I only got pizza, which was amazing as usual, but I cannot wait to go back for dinner! I have been enjoying their pizza for many years, the newly updated inside just makes me want to go back with friends and family.

This place was just perfect for a nice but not fancy pizza dinner. We especially loved the salads and they are big enough to split. House wine was especially good and well priced. Service was great. Wished we would have the chance to return but are passing thru. This was found by searching YELP so thanks.

lh3.googleusercontent.co… DISGUSTING. I ordered through grubhub. I purchased a pizza, zeppoles, and a coke. After eating the entire pizza I go to eat a zeppole.. my girlfriend quickly noticed a green spot on one of the top long skinny rolls of dough. It was **MOLD**. I contacted the store and they acted as if I were a liar, went as far as to say they make their dough FRESH! This is FAR from fresh! I contacted GrubHub shortly after having to send the store owner a photo of the mold. Grubhub was shocked after viewing the photo and seeing how the staff and owner treated me after, they quickly refunded me. The owner was nasty and rude. Stay away if you don't like eating moldy food.

this place is clean and has a modern feel to it. it is a step above a local pizzeria. it is a perfect niche for me, when I do not want super fancy but want a little better than the corner pizza joint. the service is always good and the quality is too. it is real close to nova southeastern and I think they deliver.

Not so great delivery. I ordered two different eggplant dishes from Espositos to be delivered. They arrived cold and one was leaking. Eggplant was thick and flavorless. Salad and rolls were good. Service is slow. Over an hour to get food. Will definitely dine in again but would not order delivery or any eggplant dishes ever again!

Looking for great italian on a Saturday night,I stumbled upon Espositos. The place is beautiful! The hostess greeted us with a smile and took us to our table. Our waiter was very nice and brought us out everything properly.I ordered the Pene alla vodka & my sister and I split the Procutto & Mozerella Pizza which was amazing. Although I had a decent experience, I didn't really like how the management handled things at times. I saw them yell at their staff numerous times and it was a little awkward for me personally. Not sure if they thought we noticed their actions but me and my sister noticed. Would come here again, but the management needs to be better of how they handle things in front of customers. My only reason for two stars :-/

Family friendly Italian with a chic new interior and a new coal fired pizza oven . Very nice decor not feeling like a strip mall. Fresh produce in three of the salads we tried (beet, Caesar and Greek, beet being my favorite). Other options include multiple eggplant and chicken and salmon options, lobster and mushroom ravioli, and wine and beer choices. Great thin crisp crust on the pizza! The house sicilian as well as the proscuito with arugula were crowd pleasers. Espositos is an easy and dependable lunch or dinner destination.

Currently, the place has no floor. Just broken concrete. Not sure if it was a design choice or if they are in the middle of renovating? I judge a restaurant by physical appearance, since it represents a strong indication of the quality and pride the owners possess. In addition, every single table was dirty when we walked in, except one. Seriously. They finally started halfway through our meal, so I had the pleasure of seeing other people's leftover food and nastiness until that point. Food report: salads were crisp and tasty, with top notch lettuce, fresh cukes and tomatoes, and black olives (took the onions off). Dressing was fairly tasty - vinaigrette. Pizza was thin crust, crispy and just the right amount of cheese. Baked ziti was really yummy - finally a place that loads it up with ricotta! This is a good Italian casual joint - a solid 3 stars.

Went to pick up six pies, half coal fired, and half New York style. The coal fired pizza crust was burnt and the New York style dough was tasteless and soggy. The tip off that this place would be subpar was an empty restaurant during what should have been a lunch rush. Place looked nice and clean inside so one star for that. We dropped over a hundred dollar, but would have been better of with microwave pizza from 7/11.

They just remodeled the entire place and it looks awesome! They had the best NY style pizza before the upgrade, now they also offer Coal Fired pizza. I had it today and it was GREAT! Oh, and when you go, the Garlic rolls are a must! You can order just 1 or 2, because they are large and fluffy, I order only 2.

Swung by here to visit my friends on the Chevy Pizza Crawl and was fortunate enough to be offered some pizza - Wowsers!! Their Detroit-style pizza is absolutely delicious. I live a little far from this restaurant, but I'll definitely drive over there again just for a good slice of pizza.

.............well, here is something that is NOT SUBJECTIVE a bottle of GRAND CRU PINOT NOIR 2011 california 750 ml UPC #081054002707 can be purchased at RETAIL for $5 (1) and is on the esposito's WINE LIST at $35 or a seven hundred percent MARK-UP it was initially served room temperature (maybe even warm - something that the server SHOULD HAVE noticed from handling the bottle) so i requested a wine bucket and ice (which i myself half-filled with water from my waterglass) basically the staff has no knowledge of how to serve or at least showed no intitative since i had to request the ICE and the BUCKET and then ADD my own ice water (2) now if i am supposed to add twenty percent TIP on $35 (or $7) plus TAX on top of that this $5 bottle will cost me a total of $45 totally UNacceptable in my opinion for a pizzeria in a strip-mall not on the beach or offering NO other amenities or ambiance or atmosphere (3) = period REVISED POST: (1) when calling the RESTAURANT to confirm that i was not mistakenly OVER-charged i got an argument that the RESTAURANT purchases through a secretive wholesaler their exclusive and special wines - well a RANDOM cold call to a suppler from google SKU #07364 confirmed a top retail price of $6.99 discounted to under $6 on a case for this same wine same year same vineyard same bottle label basically the same stuff the RESTAURANT holds as special and hard to get elsewhere) (2)...from LOVETOKNOW WINE............"As with most red wines, Pinot Noir is ideally served at slightly cooler than room temperature. It is a myth that red wines should be served at room temperature, which is too warm. Lighter bodied reds, such as Pinot Noir, are best served at about 55°F. If you store your Pinot Noir at room temperature, you can cool it to the appropriate temperature with two hours in the refrigerator, 15 minutes in the freezer, or five minutes in ice and water" (3)....and i have read others who share the fact that servers should at least have a working knowledge of serving WINE if the mark-up is OVER three times cost............" Recently remodeled and looks really nice. We have ordered chicken Caesar salads here pretty regularly over the past year or so. They were pretty good and a good price at 8.10 (discounted 10% for those who work in the shopping center) Went over today to pick the salad up and the price has increased to $9.54 (including the discount). In addition the chicken tasted like it had been refrigerated a little too long. The edges of the Romaine were discolored like it was cut up earlier in the week. I was surprised at the quality as it was normally good, but was SHOCKED at the $1.50 increase in price. Without the discount they charge $10 for a bowl of lettuce with 5 or 6 boxed croutons and a smattering of parmesan and over refrigerated chicken. This was definitely my last visit here. I think prices increased to pay for the remodel, unfortunately the down grade in food quality plus the increase in price makes this a one star restaurant at best.

OK first I will say the best tasting Pizza I have had in a while. I usually go for the Whole Wheat Low Fat Cheese and add mushrooms and onions So the Pizza is good but the price is outrageous When I added few Basil Leaves $2.00 A few Mushrooms $2.00 A Few Onions $20 The up charge might be acceptable but the toppings are scant at best. Now my 14" Pizza is no longer $12.45 but a whopping $18.45 Took the wife and two kids for lunch 2 SMALL soups 3 X 14" Pizzas (1 pizza with Mushrooms and onions) 1 Order of Kid Chicken fingers and fries 2 Sodas 1 Peroni $72.01 I can get a full dinner for 4 at (Carrabba's for less than that including BEER) Great food just bring a credit card

We got our food delivered. Looking for a delivery alternative to Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza. I have to say that it really didn't hold up. The pie was cold - ok it was delivered, but you would expect it to be warm. And it was just so-so. Not delicious. The wings were oily and not crisp and the meatballs were not delicious either. I think they need some work. Maybe this is just a delivery issue. I am in the biz, so I am going to try to dine-in. I'll post up a review as soon as I do.

My family and I eat in here all of the time and decided to try the take out. Two pizzas, two salads and 6 rolls cost 50$. We got it home and it tasted like pizza that you get at a carnival or a crappy fundraiser. I'll never understand why italian is SO different on take out than eat in. I mean if the name wasn't on the box I would not have believed that it came from Esposito's. Lesson learned, EAT IN ONLY. Take out is dog food. We each had one slice and threw it away. Now we will never be able to go back.

Simple decor, heavy on movie posters with mafia themes (one wall) and the Sinatra Rat Pack (other wall). One Marilyn Monroe (only woman) poster. Somewhat surreal, but I digress. The main focus was, as it should be, on the pizza. Obviously we only had one, but it was awesome. The Greek with feta, black olives and onions. Thin, crispy crust which was not at all soggy or overwhelmed by the (to my mind, perfect amount, blend, fresh) toppings. I haven't had one this good in a LONG time. Sidenote - doesn't reheat that well - it's perfect if you eat it right there - but of course it's nice to take it home and prolong the pleasure ... Ditto garlic knots. We got them with cheese, and like the pizza the texture was perfect. Crunchy and soft both, good amount of garlic and most important, not drowning in oil. Oh man, they were good. The only downside is their addictive properties - no room left for the pizza! Too much of a good thing! However, I was disappointed by the salad - wide choice of dressings not withstanding - it was typical with a lot of (non-nutritional-value) filler lettuce, two slices of cucumber, two of tomato, a few onions and olives. No discernable bell pepper as promised. For the price, I really wanted more. It was not very crowded when we went. I don't know what it's like when it's busy but the service was great. Friendly without being overwhelming. In fact we were the last people to leave, and to their credit, no one gave any indication of this, or rushed us out. I think I've found my pizza place. Hope the sister restaurant Grande is as good!

The best thing to come out of Detroit is Esposito's Detroit-style pizza (which you can also find at sister restaurants Grande Pizza) with its crusty, gooey cheese that goes all the way to the edge. Mmm...this is pizza taken to another level. I've been to several of the Grande restaurants, so I was already familiar with this miracle of crispy cheese, and went to Esposito's for a Foodspotting event. Then I had the chance to sample many more of their delicious menu items. The garlic bread (both variations) were yummy and not too oily, the baked ziti was bubbly and perfectly gooey, the cheese fries - not on the menu, also gooey and delicious. My two favorite items, however, were the fried zucchini and the penne alla vodka (without prosciutto, of course). The fried zucchini are addictive...you have been warned!!! Perfectly crispy and light outside, hot and soft zucchini on the inside. The acidity of the tomato dipping sauce offsets the zucchini's sweetness perfectly...like little mouthfuls of heaven. The penne alla vodka was perfectly al dente and the sauce was wonderfully flavorful and velvety. The peas and onions are nice little texture surprises to contrast it. Reading back I'm noticing my excessive use of the word "perfectly" here, but it's fitting so it stays. The place is nice and cozy, and the service is as great here as it has been in every Grande I've visited. They're attentive, veeery friendly, and patient with large groups. Love them!

*if you go to their website, they have coupons there for your meal* Yummy dishes - pizza! they have their own specialties, and can build your own. and have a pretty good "low card/diet" pizza. with a whole wheat crust. pretty similar! - Garlic Knots - salad. pretty basic, but they have a HUGE selection of dressings like 10. impressive for a pizza place. - Good Dishes - Fettuccine alfredo. (i'm hard to please with this dish (its too creamy and thick and greasy--- so in theory it COULD Be under the better above category... but It was pretty good, and not too greasy. tasty!) - Fried Zucchini - stuffed mushrooms. They have beers and sodas. Pretty cheap food. nice remodeled decor. and the servers are great. There's a huge flat screen tv, and its not really that busy so you can usually stay after your meal and hang out for a bit, without having antsy wait staff to kick you out. Super friendly atmosphere. :)

This is one of our "go to" places for delivery. The sandwiches are good, the detroit style pizza is just so-so. Just not to my taste I guess. BUT... The pepperoni roll is a food so good you could eat yourself to death on.

I have had pizza in over 500 locations throughout the states, and I can say with certainty that the Detroit Style - Crusty Cheese pizza here is one of the best I have had outside Detroit. This is a must try pie!

We had the displeasure of eating here about a month ago. The food was alright, the service was completely horrible. We went on a Monday night and ate in, the server took our order then went and sat at a table and talked with another employee at the table by the front door. She never bothered to get up to get our drinks or go get our salads. After about 20 minutes we finally got fed up and walked up to the front and asked for our salads as we could see the waitress sitting down talking to another employee. She gets up and runs in the back and after another 5 minutes goes by she comes over and finally brings us our drinks and apologizes for the wait and blames the kitchen saying they accidentally made our salads to go, and they would be ready in a few minutes. This pissed us off to no end because we could see her sitting down and talking the entire time and she tried to blame it on the kitchen. Finally we get our salads and right behind them, our main course comes which kind of defeats the whole purpose of getting the salads to begin with. The food wasn't that bad, I'd give it 2.5 out of 5 stars for takeout, but definitely don't recommend eating in because the service is horrible. ~Aaron

Although, I am still navigating my way through my end of SFL. I stumbled across this little gem while searching for a last minute dinner option. Only 2.8 miles from me I couldn't have scored any better! It's tucked away in a little strip mall plaza. We pulled right up to the front door a bit after 10pm, my date(whom drove up from Miami) and I were seated right away being that it was a bit empty. Did we care?! Nope! Perfect actually for a Friday night- for us. Our waiter Bob was very tentative to our needs. He was awesome! The food was delicious! My Vegetarian ordered Margarita Pizza, and I had fried Calamari. Although, I did not really eat much off the menu we both agreed we would come again. The ambience is very nice. Even though there are tv's all around it still has a charming cozy feel.

Came in on a night where there was no one dining -- mind you, we come here often and order out. We walk in and got reminded about 4-5 times that they were closing in 30 minutes and everyone was nothing but stand-offish. We ordered a glass of wine at the bar to only be told AGAIN while we were waiting that they close in 30 minutes which I pleasantly reminded them that we had plenty of time. After sitting for 3-5 minutes and really making them sweat that hopefully we would not eat, we left and went to another place. After all of the good food we've had there, we're very big on comfort and this place is not providing that at all and that's the reason for this very negative review.

This is my favorite pizza since moving to Davie. It's amazing, the service is good at the restaurant & we order delivery as well & it is delivered fairly quick. The garlic rolls are spectacular as well. I will keep going back!

Went to a friends yesterday, and they ordered the meat lovers, pepperoni and a cheese. I honestly only had the meat lovers but it was probably the best pizza I've had in a long time. They don't over do it on the sauce which is a plus. Very good food.

Been here twice the first time I was not feeling Well at all and was really Happy the restaurant was quite and empty. The pizza was really Good and the mozzarella sticks were less than to be desired for! Now the second time I went which was last night we decided to order pasta.....I got penne alla vodka which was Good but was extremely over powered by onions I'm not a big fan of onions but it was so much I tasted that more than I tasted the Bacon or sauce.... now my sister had gotten the Alfredo which I tried and found it to taste a whole lot better than my own dish, we were casually talking when she noticed a hair in her food! Now my sister and I had our hairs in buns and when we told the waiter he picked up the plate and showed the manager we clearly and loudly heard her accuse us of pulling out OUR OWN HAIR to put it in the food! Are you serious? We came to eat and pay for our own food we didn't come to get a free meal..... The manager at No time at all came to speak to us or apologize for being completely disrespectful or for the food for having hair in it! Now me and my sister love coming here cause we can talk and eat and just relax.....but the manager lacks the qualities of great customer service!

The coal oven pizza is crispy, super fresh ingredients and wonderfully presented. The NY style is good, but understand I am from NY. What makes this place a 5 star is the Italian entrees, they should change the name of the Resteraunt as the entrees are unreal. Penne vodka with sausage, masterful. The lobster ravioli I could bathe in the sauce. The Greek salad dressing is delicious. Reasonably priced wine and great staff. We bring our 4 year old and they could not be nicer. I dreaded writing this review for fear of letting out the secret of this place but after having the filet of sole special tonight I could not hold back anymore.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
