The pizza and wings have to be the best I've ever had. The flavors were so on point and believe me it's going to be a weekly thing eating here. We had classic mild wings and there blue cheese was out if this world. We had a cheese pizza and there garlic sauce is the perfect topping! Can't wait to try there fun pizza flavors

Pizza slices, nothing to get too excited or too fancy about right? Well if said slices are served custom order, or if the restaurant serves you two different kind of pizza slices I will say that is a reason to get excited. While up and about in Davie, I was looking for a casual place to eat yet not get too full before the super bowl. I wasn't looking too GQ either so it had to be somewhere informal. Pizza Bar showed up near where I was and besides a little sports trash talk for my Dolphins shirt (owners are Giants fans, the nerve of them :)) I got great service. Their menu seems to cover all the Italian American specialties, and plenty of craft beers. I asked, and was told they could mix and match slices. My caprese/ Margherita slice was hot, crispy, with fresh tomato slices, melted mozzarella and a nice spread of pizza sauce. The Hawaiian slice didn't disappoint either, with a good spread of ham and pineapple slices. They also have free soda refills, perfect for lunch. Definitely a good find, and I know where to go for pizza in the 954.

A new place for me to check out in Davie. A unique quick pizza place with a New York style flare. The crust was Cooked perfect the toppings were fresh and plentiful especially the margitta pizza. The garlic rolls are a must but bring some after dinner mints. What was surprising is that the service was awesome. The gals that took care of us had to be no more than 17 years old if that. However, they acted like season pros, with great manners and service. The reason I did not give it a five star is that the pizza was some what greasy. We had the Greek, meat lovers, and margitta pizza all had a pool of grease. I will definitely order out in the future. Enjoy.

Came here twice already. This is the new hidden treasure of Davie that used to be the old run down Dellaventuras. Looks like a complete different place (thank god). Boyfriend got a slice of the cheeseburger pizza, I am not a burger girl but WOW. Very impressed. Literally, taste just like an inside out cheeseburger! I ordered the chicken Francaise. price seemed high until you see the portion on this. $15 came with three garlic rolls, a side salad, and probably three servings of this dish all in one ! Had two huge pieces of lightly breaded chicken breast over a light lemony white wine sauce. Owner came over to the table to introduce himself, extremely nice. Apparently they already have bocas best in boca and has been there for about 6 years? I'm thinking of trying it considering their great reviews on yelp. All in all, check this place out and support a local pizza joint ya dig?

My boyfriend and I are kinda addicted. I'm a plain pizza kind of girl and my boyfriend is a wings kinda guy... Davie's best has good deals to match our needs which is why we order from them more times then I'm willing to admit. The pizza is a little greasy and the wings may have a little to much sauce but there is just something about the food that makes you keep coming back and when you don't have it you want it. The delivery drivers know us by name and they give more of a warm personal connection. If we have ever had a problem Bobby (a manager) takes care of it right away. How many managers do you know that would personally deliver food just to make sure the customer is happy with the order? Check this place out if you don't like the food (but I think you will) maybe you'll make a new friend!

This has to be the best pizza place I have found in Fort Lauderdale and the surrounding areas. I moved from kendall recently, after having found a fantastic hole-in-the-wall pizza joint, and thought I could never find this kind of quality of pizza again. Boy was I wrong! Davies best pizza has far exceeded my expectations for my favorite Italian dish, and the staff is super friendly! I work at a nearby location, and they have given me a discount, "for being a Davie worker too." and they remember me every time I come in! It's probably because the girl that works at cashier, her name is also Sheila! Can't help it if we both have the coolest name in the world :)

The 2 stars is because the people who work there seemed very warm and friendly. They acknowledged us as soon as we stood in front of the counter and held the door for us. The food is not good. Period. It was such a let down. Hubby is bummed. I just wasted our money. I don't care if they do have great lunch prices - this is the food you'd have to eat, so where's the bargain? This is not 'authentic' Italian food - the Davie's Best Appetizer had french fries - what the hell? It also had 2 off-white, mushy, breaded strips of white meat chicken - 1 of which had hard cartilage on the edge (I took the breading off to give the chicken to our dogs). The mozzarella sticks and fried ravioli were likely from a plastic bag from the McCain company - barely mediocre. The pizza had so much oil that as I lifted a slice towards me, two fat drops of oil splashed on my shirt. Hubby took to using napkins to dry off his slice. The edge of the slice was crisp, and pretty good. Hubby called the rest of the slice 'rubbery' - I agree. The sauce was good. the cheese was greasy. I ordered a side of spaghetti with garlic and oil. I intended on adding fresh Brussels sprouts to it. When we got home, I made the veg and put the pasta on top. I added some grated cheese and figured I was good to go. The spaghetti had NOT ONE BIT OF GARLIC. Do you know how you get pasta with thin slivers of browned garlic? Well not here. While we tasted garlic it was either infused in the oil or a powder. We suspect that the garlic flavored oil that they serve with the pizza - because that's what their pizza needs, more oil - is likely what they use to flavor the spaghetti. I've given up on zeppoles in Florida. I grew up eating the real deal, particularly in Little Italy during the Feast of San Genaro. Those memories of fat, fluffy warm crispy dough covered with powdered sugar will have to last me. Because tonight we got dense rectangles of undercooked, rubbery dough with powdered sugar. Hubby said it was like eating erasers. Not even close. We threw out everything except for the 2 pieces of chicken for the dogs and the spaghetti because the oil will flavor the Brussels sprouts and hopefully taste better tomorrow. I don't think they really cook here as much as they serve Cheney Brothers prepared ingredients and McCain frozen food. Bellini, I know you serve authentic Italian food and our quick dashes to local places only serve to remind us that we'd be so much happier driving to your restaurant in Weston instead.

Ordered a medium Hawaiian pizza for delivery, which ended up being over $21 (plus tip). Although the pizza was good, the price seemed a bit steep for 8 slices. Oh, well.

We went in way before lunch hour so there wasn't anybody there except for a couple sitting in the corner. Our server was Sheila and she was nice and efficient. She came and asked us if we needed water or anything like 5 times, I counted. One of the guys actually needed water because he was chugging cup after cup but it would've been a bit annoying if that wasn't the case. I had no real problem with her service though. Ordered a pizza split into fourths, compliments to the chef for his hard work. I came here excited to try the bacon double cheeseburger pizza and I'll be honest it wasn't 10 out of 10 amazing but I still very much enjoyed it. Their garlic rolls (not garlic bread) were really great, bit too much oil + butter (the rolls were sitting on a pool of butter/oil) but again, still delicious although my body was saying 'no'... I tried soaking up some of the oil with some napkins. The total came to $28 before tip for 4 people. Maybe we will go back, yeah. Oh it's next to a store that sells birds I think. Could totally go there after lunch/dinner and look at the birds they have! If they have any. Idk.

Super Bowl Sunday they are giving away free 10" pizzas until they run out of dough as a pre grand opening! Choice of cheese, pepperoni, or mushroom. Super duper kid friendly. Staff was extremely nice! Pizza was HOT and yummy. They serve it with a garlic butter dipping sauce. Can't get better than that. Official opening scheduled for Feb 15th. We will definitely be back! Check it out yourself... You won't be disappointed!

I was really disappointed by the pizza I bought from here,I was hoping for something better from reading the reviews but i will never order again from there, reasons why are because the ingredients were no good and the pizza was really soggy and you couldn't even hold the pizza without it even bending and it felt while I was chewing that I was chewing on some kind on rubber.Definitely now ordering again from here.

I found a new pizza place for lunch! I am one of those people that loves different styles of pizza. I love a couple places in the area, but I wanted to try something different that is still great. So, today I took a chance on Davie's Best. I was pleasantly surprised. This pizza is actually pretty good, and it tastes completely different than the other two places I frequent. They put in a small container of garlic butter, and I dipped the end in it. Buttery! I recommend doing this if you are having a rough time gaining weight. You'll be up a few pounds after a few days of dipping in that sauce! You're welcome. Now back to the pizza. It is thin crust pizza, but it works well with a couple toppings. I had mushrooms and sausage, and I thought both toppings were perfect. Fresh mushrooms, and the sausage had good flavor and texture. The sauce was good, and there was something different about it, but I can't figure out what just yet. The servers were nice. They offered me plates and napkins on my first visit, which usually doesn't happen. I usually have to ask if they have them for to go orders. They also gave me a menu, which reminds me. I had planned to order the Ziti lunch special, but I saw the reviews here mentioning the pizza was good, and I changed my mind. I will definitely plan on the ziti next time. =)

I'm not exactly sure why the reviews are as high as they are. The pizza was at best mediocre. You're better off just going to your local Pappa John's. The garlic roll was not as good as I was expecting. It's super buttery and definitely a clogged artery waiting to happen. Sorry, but I will not be returning.

Another place I found because of the GREAT Yelp reviews! I was craving a Sicilian slice of pizza but there weren't any slices made so I opted for a slice of sausage pizza. My boyfriend ordered a slice of cheese and a slice of meatball pizza. We also shared an order of 3 garlic rolls. The pizza slices were HUGE and it was everything more than I expected. Usually when I order pizza by the slice, I have to tell them well done. Well not this place, the pizza was well done and it wasn't burnt, which was a plus. The toppings on the pizza were big and I like the fact that they were actually slices of toppings not balls of toppings. The garlic rolls had nice flavors of garlic and butter - perfect combination of flavors. The man who was serving us was really friendly, I think he may have been the owner. He informed us they have been there for about a year - I wish I found this place sooner. Usually I head to Primanti's in Sunrise for a slice of pizza but I just claimed this restaurant as my favorite pizza. I can't wait to try other dishes on their menu, everything looks good and I can't wait to head back.

I placed an order for delivery and the person who took my order was very friendly. I ordered a medium cheese pizza, garlic rolls, wings with hot sauce on the side and a cannoli. Everything was delicious! From now on this is where I'll be ordering my pizza.

I received a free coupon designated for a medium 2-topping pizza through the mail. I ordered a cheese pizza and 1/2 a dozen garlic rolls as when I called to place my order to also order a side of buffalo shrimp, the order taker told me that they did not have it and was a typo on the menu. When the order taker answered the phone, she immediately told me "please hold" no hello thank you for calling. Anyways the pizza was greasy. Those were the worst garlic rolls I ever had. It was completely drowned in oil. It tasted like plain rolls just dipped in oil. I forgot to take a pic of it because I ended up throwing it all out. Overall I'm so glad I only had to pay for the rolls because this was not a good first impression.

I heard about this place from a friend and was really excited to try it. It definitely lived up to my expectations of a local pizza place. The pizza is filled with super fresh ingredients and baked to perfection. I am a huge pizza fanatic and this place is definitely made me a fan. I had the Buffalo chicken pizza which had a ton of chicken on it and was made with Crystal hot sauce. If you love pizza and wings, you will love this pizza. I also highly recommend the garlic rolls, they are soooooo good. Overall, if you're a local looking for a new pizza place or happen to be in the area, I highly recommend this pizza place.

I ordered delivery from here the other night. My friend ordered a personal white pizza with broccoli added on and I ordered my staple pizza which is sausage and basil. The delivery time was a standard 45 minutes. The prices were a tad bit pricey. Over $30 for a small personal pizza, medium pizza and 6 little garlic rolls. Once our pizza was delivered, we dug in. My friend's white pizza with broccoli was not good at all. The broccoli was burnt and I couldn't get the burnt taste out of my mouth for the rest of the night. My sausage and basil pizza was absolutely delicious! The sauce was the best sauce I've ever tasted and they put just the right amount of ingredients on it. I devoured half the medium pizza all by myself! The garlic rolls were also delicious. At first glance they looked a little over cooked but looks can be deceiving... They were heavenly! 2/3 things ordered tasted great! Wish they took a little more pride in their presentation offood because that broccoli on the white pizza was clearly a charred mess and its the only thing keeping them from 5 stars in my book. Will definitely be giving them a second chance though. Hey, as long as they get MY pizza right, I can't complain too much!

well maybe for DAVIE this is the best that you can get BUT for myself it was the WORST two slices i have ever been served - think of a wet piece of triangular CARPET with cheese burnt into it - absolutely INedible - obviously two slices that had passed their expiration date about a week ago - but if anyone needs a front door welcome mat at their home i guess you could order two slices here and combine sideways them into a rectangle and use them as a doormat the ONE star is for a combination of GOOD attentive service and a GOOD salad that was fresh and crisp and chilled - the oil and vinegar came in these two little plastic containers which made a mess to pour from i don't have a comment on the lobster bisque soup starter other than i have no idea what that is doing here but my server explained they like to "change things up sometimes" - okay i get that but to REPLACE pasta fagioli with it at a PIZZA place - why ? ? .................so basically i paid $18 all in for a $3 salad and got ripped-off.............the other technical issue was the GARLIC which AGAIN came in a little plastic container and resembled melted butter and had no hint of any real GARLIC what's with these little plastic containers ? however, as i eat every meal out, i can't say this was my worst experience, but i feel wistful and sad that DAVIE downtown has no idea what good food is, and initially, FULVIOs and DELVENTURA used to be top notch ITALIAN food here decades ago...........even FLASHBACK (the only other non-fast food offering worth mentioning aside from DAVIE SUB SHOP) has found a way to screw-up a LUMs OLLIEBURGER a standard for twenty years, so, so much for flashing back on the food now we have DAVIEs BEST finding ways to screw-up PIZZA

Our first time at Davie's Pizza and we thought it was really good! We ordered their Wings with the Sweet and Spicy Asian and they were very meaty and flavorful with a nice crunchy skin. We also had a large pizza with Pepperoni and Mushrooms and the crust was nice and crunchy and overall the pizza had great flavor. Our favorite part was the Garlic Rolls, they were phenomenal!! Definitely recommend for good pizza and wings!!!

Was in the neighborhood and since my little one wanted pizza, I found this little place with great reviews from yelpers and thought I would give it a try. At the end of a tiny strip mall with only three parking spots, I was skeptical at first, but then saw a sign that there was more parking and a second entrance at the back! Once inside, I was surprised at how small it was. Only about 10-15 tables. This place definitely needs more room! Ordered a medium pizza and was content with the big screens on the wall showing the game. Reviews did not let me down, this was one of the best pizzas I've ever had, great sauce and cheese quality... And I am picky about pizza!! Can't wait to go back and try something else... Maybe for a game. Server was sweet enough to check two addresses for me to see if they were in the delivery zone. Will be back!!!

Yesterday when I called and gave them my address they said that they didn't deliver their but today I called and they took my order ??? & I'm going to need the lady on the phone when I was ordering for delivery to NOT be as rude as she was...I'm waiting on my margherrita pizza to come it's going to take an hour. UPDATE: WORST PIZZA EVER! I was already turned off by the awfully ill mannered the lady I ordered from was, this was the last strike. The pizza was dripping in grease and it was even rolling out of the entire pizza itself, not to mention that it took an hour and forty five minutes and they never even apologized. The pizza was cold when it got here and the condiments on it, the mozzarella and the basil didn't even look right. They looked like they were days old, & the pizza itself look moldy and was too soggy. You couldn't even take a slice out with everything falling apart. Never eating here again.

I'm fairly new to the area but this is my new go to pizza spot. I usually order delivery or take out but I haven't had a chance to dine in yet. Whenever I pick up my order the staff is always super friendly. My daughter also LOVES Davie's Best. We're quickly becoming regular costumers. The pizza is so flavorful, I'm convinced the cheese is laced with something because I keep coming back for more! :) I also loved the Stromboli but couldn't eat it in one sitting which made for a yummy lunch the next day. Thank you Davie's Best for great pizza and excellent customer service. Even your delivery guy rocks!

Yum like super good amazing pizza one of the best in a South Florida so far! After reading the reviews I thought I'de give it a try. On a Friday night it must've been busy. It can get really busy and I've waited 8 minutes on hold before placing a to-go order :( I Ordered a large Additional Topping : Mushroom cheese pizza and 10 wings to go, they said the delivery time would be 45 minutes. Total 25$ This was worth the wait! The mushrooms were big chunks all over the pizza even so falling off the slices as you bite. The sauce generous too and tasty. The cheese it quite good itself too. *I ordered this pizza again and the mushrooms were thinner slices :( consistency changes here. The Prices are really great a large cheese is 13$ toppings additional charge . They have really yummy sounding combinations of pizza like Cheeseburger , or Taco pizza. Got to try their Garlic rolls, they were good, typical pizza place real chunks of garlic on the rolls. The wings were okay. Not huge either. These are Naked - no breading , and the medium sauce wasn't spicy, it was quite oily. I think they're frozen wings deep fried cause the meat is a lil dry. The blue cheese sauce tasted like ranch with chunks of Blue Cheese in it. They came with fresh cut celery which was nice too. I'de order from Davie's Best Pizza Bar again. Great Pizza, Delvecchio's pizza is more consistent and better in my opinion.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
