Affordable authentic and tasty. Food is on the spicy side but had plenty of flavor. In a somewhat sketch area posted next to a check cashed spot, a gas station and a wash spot. Inside though is very clean with ample bar seating in front of a flat screen tv. Food is great. $3.99 for a quarter chicken rotisserie, $6 for mussels and a variety of other items ranging from whole fish to cerviche. Check it out when you are the area.

once a patron gets to know the place it's hard to pick on the deficiencies like mis-matching stemware and plates and silverware and of course no one would ever call it fancy so i'm going to concentrate on the important stuff - like the FOOD and the service if you speak spanish you're good to go because the service is predominately spanish-speaking only BUT if you're a gringo like me i would suggest going when ERIKA is on as she is fluent in both ENGLISH and spanish recently i got ambitious and had them cook me DUCK but it's NOT on the menu otherwise so they DO entertain patrons requests and aim to accomodate the CHICKEN is the main focus and along with ROAST PORK are my two typical choices with a side salad, fried YUCCA or rice and beans, and a beer or glass of red wine complete for about $15 which starts with flattened and heated cuban bread and what i call the green sauce otherwise i've had PORK CHOPS and pork chunks and on rare occasion steak along with the sides i've mentioned above one noticable and typical observation is the patrons are almost exclusively hispanic with myself many times being the sole gringo in the house and i mention that only because if hispanic people frequent a place then it must be as advertised - right ? sometimes more cervasa is served than food to guests but during soccer games or playing pool or listening to juke-box tunes it is always pleasant i must add that FREE PARKING is available front and back because it is NOT often as accomodating at many other facilities

I know this place isnt much to look at from the outside but it gets the job done. Food is tasty and cheap. I liked the chicken fried rice. Staff is cool enough, they get you what you want when you ask but dont bother you too much otherwise. Good for a quick bite.

Very surprising, a Latin American restaurant in the gas station and it's good. I've passed it for years and decided to stop in. Good food, good prices. I tend to stay with the Cuban / Mexican foods but next time I'm going to try some of the Peruvian food. Service is fine, setting is a little more of a luncheonette than a fine dining establishment.

The food and service is about 3 1/2 stars. Food is pretty good for Peruvian food in that area. But it's not the best within Broward. However, the people there are very friendly. I go there because of the convenience.

The food here is amazing. This is the only reason i keep coming. But the one older lady Silvia i think is her name is very bad at her job. she is always talking to friend and never tending to the customers. She never refills cups and always gives you like 2 breads when her sister always gives you 4. She forgets orders and never seems to be around when you need something.

Food is good but if you're a gringo like me it might be tough to get through the language barrier. I love that green sauce I would put it in a five gallon bucket and chug that stuff.

Let's be honest here. When I went to this restaurant, I knew I wasn't expecting something grandiose, gourmet, or even anything "great", but even with that in mind... I was fairly dissapointed. And my apologies in advance for my negativity. I came to the restaurant as a quick meal during a long night of studying. It's located next to a run-down gas station (super sketchy) and seems to focus on homestyle peruvian cuisine. I.e. rotisseried chicken, various cuts of steak, plantains, yuca, etc. As an Ecuadorian, perhaps my expectations were still too high. Upon entering the restaurant, first thing my friend and I notice was the utter emptiness of the place. One waitress, one cook, and a sneaking suspicion that they were upset we had even walked in the door. A word on the surroundings: Homey, unkempt (tin foil lining the rotissere windows, bottle caps on the floor, dirty floors), and various stuffed animals on the corner of the bar (some tables, a long diner style bar) An old and obviously used baby shoe adorns the top of a Budweiser tap... These kinds of things could seem almost charming, if they were intentional... but I just dont get the feeling that they were. The waitress took our order. Luckily I ordered a soda (canned) because when my buddy asked for water, she pointed him to a half-full pitcher on top of the wastebasket that seemed to have been there all day. I ordered the Lomo Salteado... and waited... and waited some more. Granted, you could see into the kitchen, and you could see the cook speaking to someone on his cell phone for 20 minutes before starting up the flames. I was hungry... and this made me upset. The waitress was more tolerable. I'm not a snob, but acknowledging the fact that you have customers that tip you should play a part. The food: My lomo salteado... was not too bad, but not very good either. This meal generally has asian influences. Some vinegar, soy sauce, etc. This was just tough cuts of beef stewed in some potent storebought (like i said, I could see into the kitchen) teriaki sauce. It was served on top of fries (the fries weren't too bad), and along with a decent heap of white rice. Would I reccomend this specific dish... no. But perhaps other portions of the menu might offer some redemption... oh. and dont bother with the "cuban coffee"... just... dont. I hate to make this post so negative... but I'm a happy go lucky guy, and I just didn't enjoy my experience. I hope anyone else that does go has a better time though!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
