The Fish & Chip Shop Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

For a fish and chips this place was good. Although it's hard to mess up fish and chips. You either do it right or horribly wrong. This place got it right. My only negative is not for this place but rather that if you get dinner here you're mostly eating all fried stuff. Which then after dinner I felt like a thousand pounds. The staff was great and service was tremendous. So if you're in the mood for fish and chips and just all things fried... Then come here and go for broke

Absolutely amazing on all accounts!! Fantastic food, great customer service and wonderful prices! We had the fish burger and the haddock filet plus an individual fry, the servings were huge and we left stuffed. We are from WI and were wanting a good beer battered fish fry, we have tried several places with no luck, after eating here we found out place and have every intention of becoming regulars!!

We ordered the fish and then ordered two sides (chips and onion rings). Everything was delicious but too much. Should of just ordered one side to share. My kids said that was the best chicken and fish they've ever eaten. Great service! Would love to come again when I'm in the area.

We popped in for some chips as from England I miss these so much I'm sick to death of fries I've lived in Florida for almost a year now so I was excited to see what these were like, erm disappointed yet again there were thin cut brown on the outside and raw inside not even close to english chips from a real chippy although fresh and large portion not chippy chips for me the other food looked good like decent size fish but it's all about the chips not fries.

One of my favorite places to go in Disney is England in Epcot for the fish and chips. So, I am disappointed to say that this place blows it out of the water, which is one less reason for me to go to Epcot. Fresh fish with a tasty crust cooked to order. They have a selection of pies that are excellent. You know it's good when your the only non-Brit in the place. Don't miss this spot.

I'm not a big fan of fish and chips but this place had high reviews so I wanted to give it a shot. It was basically the same as all other fish and chip places I've tried, very plain and lacking taste. I like my food to have some flavor and I've notices that every British place I've ever eaten, the fish has no taste. The other thing is that it gave me a horrible upset stomach. The place was pretty clean though so I will give it a few stars. Most likely won't return though.

Great fish and chips and the portions are more than generous. If you want a great place to take your family for some good old fashioned fish and chips at a great price, don't pass this place up. Great job guys!

Since we're dining with an ex-pat, we took his opinion into consideration. He said he didn't miss much from home except a good fish and chips shop. He said this was a really good fish and chips shop. Everything is kind of a la carte but the chips are meant to share. 2 of us split the regular chips and barely finished. The large could EASILY feed 4-5 people!! You could tell they were fresh and not frozen. My husband got the regular cod and was presented with a big piece of fish that was plenty to eat. I had the filet of fish burger and it was a perfectly cooked filet topped with lettuce, tomatoes, onion and cucumber. Our British friend got a large fry because we didn't know any better and curry sauce. Everything was very good. Next time-scotch egg!

Came in and the woman at the counter had an English accent which was very cool. She was friendly and took good care of us. Ordered the large Haddock and split it with my co-worker. It was certainly more than enough for the two of us. The fish was good but the batter was a bit soggy and the fries were a tiny bit overdone in my opinion. The flavor of the fish and the tarter sauce was excellent. I seriously want to try some of their other menu items like the meat pies, sausage roll, Scottish eggs, fish burgers and sausages bit I am much too full. Will have to be the next time I am in Orlando in business.

I decided on the classic fish and chips on my first trip here. A giant (7-9 ounce) piece of cod and the crispest fry job I've seen in a long time. The fries (chips) were obviously fresh cut and fried - some were crisp, some were not so crisp. The batter's a bit bland, which may be authentic to the British style but I wouldn't know about that. I added a bunch of pepper to suit my tastes better. You have your choice of ketchup or malt vinegar as condiments. The staff are friendly and the owner (I assume) was very forthcoming about his recipes and food. It appeared as if everyone was enthusiastic about what they were doing in this restaurant. Simple fare, well made, hand crafted, and generous portions. There's nothing not to like about this restaurant. Unless you don't eat fried foods - then it's not the place for you. Next time, I'm getting the Scotch egg.

I have to say that these are not the best fish and chips in Orlando, but are pretty good. We came in on a Wednesday night and it was relatively quiet. The girl working behind the counter was very friendly. You place your order at the counter, then they bring you your food. We decided to get two orders of the large fish, one large fries and onion rings for the three of us. The food took about 15 minutes to come out. Not bad, considering it is all made fresh. While the fish was good, it was a bit on the soggy/oily side. The rings were really just batter with a sliver of an onion. Honestly, the best things we had were the fries. They were fresh cut and crispy. The portions are huge and prices are fair. Just keep in mind that all items are ala carte. Also, I would escpec them to play Brittish music as that is the theme, but thats just me. My only comparison to "real" fish and chips are Cooks of Dublin at Downtown Disney, raglan road and the rose and crown at EPCOT. Sadly, all of these are better in my opinion. If you are in the mood for a British treat and don't want to go to the parks, I would definitely recommend The Fish and Chip Shop.

Tucked in on the end of a shopping center, this is a hidden gem! We've supped here several times and the food and service are consistently great. It is small by Orlando standards, but don't let that keep you away! Try it, you won't regret it!!!

This a casual eatery with excellent customer service. The food was made fresh and it was fried with out being greasy. My picky children had the fish and ate it all (the kids meals come with chips and a side with either fish or chicken). We will be back to try the meat pies and some other items that looked delicious as well.

I tried this little spot while staying at the Omni hotel nearby and had a nice experience. To begin with the owners who are really from England (love the accents, ngl) were so nice and accommodating in helping me make my selections. I took my food to go to enjoy by the pool at our resort and everything was packed away nicely and was hot and fresh when we sat down to eat it. All the ingredients tasted fresh. My only "criticism" I guess would be that the fish tasted a little bit bland to me (although I'm not a fish and chips connoisseur so I don't know if it's supposed to be how it was) and I'm also used to having fish and chips with tartar sauce which may also not be authentic (& this restaurant seems to be totally authentic) but a little extra lemon wedges helped me out with that. So, yes, it's greasy (it's deep fried food) but to enjoy once in a while, it's good stuff.

This place is hidden in back of a strip mall. A friend told me about it and had to actually look to find it. The cod (and tartar sauce) were AMAZING. I love it. My daughter had the Shepards Pie and raved about it as well. Love it and will never even try fish and chips anywhere else. Amazing!! 5+ stars!!!

I moved to Florida from England 12 years ago and have searched the state of Florida for Fish and Chips like back home. After finding The Fish and Chip shop that search has ended! Proper Chips, fresh! Our entire family has been here on multiple occasions and have never been let down with the food or friendly service! My favorite is the fishcake and chips, with chips, curry and a butty as close second! Along with soft drinks they also have a beer and wine menu which is a bonus!

Hands down the best fish and chips outside of the old country. Fish is always fresh, white and flaky. Chips are double fried so crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. They have a very good menu that includes creative specials and a great selection of dishes and sides. Of course there's HP sauce and malt vinegar. Prices are reasonable and service is great. All in all five star.

Not bad at all. If you are hoping for the fish hanging of the plate type chippie, this isn't it. Food is good and staff friendly. Reasonable prices for US. I use it regularly

Wow this was great food! And a lot of it!!! We had the fish and the meat pie... Both were wonderful! Wife had the shrimp, they were huge! Service was fast and friendly, only reason for 4 stars vs 5 was the fried mushrooms were very plain and came with no sauce. True English style food without the hassle of airports or TSA!

Yum, reminded me of the fish n chips I had in London a long time ago. Food is amazing! It's in a strip mall, but it's a hip and happening joint. They serve alcohol and have Good Humor type ice cream bars and some Ben N Jerry's. We tried the cod, fish soup, pie, fried shrimp, breaded sausage, cole slaw and everything was delicious. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. They are all very nice people and the owners are great. The kids loved the food and dessert of course. This place was close to our resort and definitely worth a visit!

Found this one on yelp, of course. Drove from the campground about 10 minutes. Well worth the drive. Very clean and friendly staff. Large piece of fish and good fries. A nice authentic British fish and chips joint. Nicely done!

Seem very authentic Fish and Chips. A little bland for my taste but again I'm not from England.

What a great find. We camp in the area when we visit Disney and Sea World but hadn't found this place before. I had the steak, ale and mushroom pie which was so full of flavor and tender. My husband had the battered shrimp. Huge and good batter. We shared a bucket of onion rings too. Nice friendly staff. Will go again to try more.

We live in the area and this place opened and we didn't even know it. It was recommended by family, so we decided to give it a try. We were tired from working all day and stopped in to do a carry out order. We ordered 2 pieces of fish, One of each variety. One piece was haddock, the other I can't remember. Both pieces were good, we also a large order of fries. When they say large, they mean large, the order was at least 3 lbs of fries. We are a family of 4 and the 2 pieces of fish and the large fries were plenty to eat. The food was hot and good. The only thing we weren't fans of was they wrap the food up in white paper, which did absorb some of the oil from the fish. It must be a British thing.

Good place, they could use another server ND maybe a bigger kitchen but I was impressed. Did not give 5 stars because they are up and coming but don't blink Cuz this place could see 5 stars soon

I ordered to go, paid, and tipped. I waited 20 minutes for one piece of fish. I'd rather go to Sunday's Grill. They know how to treat people right. Sunday's treats people equally and fairly. I just signed up for Yelp just to write this review. My dad and I just tried that one piece of fish. "No taste," he said. "Stale batter coating," I thought to myself. Go to Sunday's Grill where you will, for certain, be completely satisfied by their service AND food.

This restaurant is amazing. I am originally from New England and have been looking for a place that does seafood like back home. I ordered the fried cod which was perfect. It was a big piece with just the right amount of breading. I also ordered the fried mushrooms and fried chips. Both were fried correctly and tasted fresh. Everything was great and so was the price!

We get fish & chips from this place 2-3 times a month. Love the homemade tartar sauce. In addition to the fish being amazing, we like going to restaurants that the owners are actually there working. These are lovely people that work hard to make great food!

  • Jennifer G.

Subpar. Counter service. My haddock tasted awful. Everything has a charge. Want chips with your fish? Charge. Want tartar sauce? Charge. Completely unimpressed.

Great little place. Good fish and chips bar none. Found this place on yelp trying to avoid the tourist garbage on the way home from legoland. Will defiantly be stoping here again. All those working there were friendly and helpful. not like the chains all over town. Good find. Keep it up

Don't let the $$ fool you. You get a ton of food for the price. We had the shrimp (huge), fish (huge), fries, onions rings and chowder. All were great. And it seems the owners are actually english, so that is legit.

I have never had better fish and chips in my life. The way they batter the cod is amazing. Also had the chopped potatoe salad and it was so fresh and garlicky. Soooo goood. They have more just fish as well. Great menu. Enjoy!
