was heading out for a doctors appointment and wanting somewhere different. being a yelper I looked and found this WONDERFUL PLACE! I was with a friend and we decided to go with the traditional choices at a british pub, fish and chips and shepherds pie. we split both dishes. what two great choices. this fish was moist, flaky and the breading, as another fellow yelper wrote, "must have crack in it because it's so good! the chips were great, I always add vinegar! !!! the shepherds pie was hearty and rich and the smashed potatoes were creamy yet some lumps to prove it's homemade! the server asked if we wanted their signature coleslaw, we thought it was a side that came with the meal, to our surprise it was 2.00 extra, it was good but a little soupy for my taste. go go go!

A wonderful find for anyone who loves fish and chips but wants to avoid that "fried food feeling". Light but crispy batter on generous portions of fish, hand cut fries that were served crispy and hot. Authentic menu sports mushy peas, bangers and mash, and other British pub food. As good as the fish & chips in England at Epcot. You might also note our review of The Proper Pie Company under "meat pie" in Davenport

Very tiny strip mall British Pub that sells authentic English Pub fare. Menu seemed tiny but was so interesting - everything from Shepherd's Pie to Bangers and Mash to Kebabs. How odd that all their British Beers were in "tins", they had mostly American beers on tap - Bud Light on special - they did have a couple of local IPAs on tap. I just think that a pub should offer British beers on draft. We had their nachos which like a salad on fries. Cheesy dip sauce on Chips (hand cut fries) covered with iceberg lettuce and tomato pieces. We also both had the fish n chips (small Ben 8 oz.; Big Ben 16 oz.) and I must admit that the fish was tasty - light and flaky. The batter is very tasty. Although I found the chips a bit undercooked. The fish n chips comes wrapped in newspaper. We both wanted to try the mushy peas, but ran out of space. Price wise, I found it a bit expensive, but I'm sure that over half of the pub had been imported from England from the sauce on the tables, videos, tins of beer and perhaps even the fish. The ladies were quite British and very friendly. If you're craving fish n chips - this will satisfy.

Don't miss this one Yelpers! The food is great. The fish and chips were awesomely crisp, my Bangers and Mash bountiful and good, the ambience fun and the waitress a treasure with her positive attitude and happy assistance. This is worth searching out just five miles north off I-4 on FL-27!

Authentic fish and chips in Orlando. As an expat holidaying in Orlando I was pleasantly surprised to find this UK themed bar and restaurant hiding out next to Publix. I have tried 'fish and chips' in many places in the US and Canada and have always been sorely disappointed. So my expectations of Sundays was not high. However the fish and chips here are pretty decent, albeit quite expensive. The girl that took my order .... Probably the owner ...... Had an English accent which was a good sign. The food was quick and was all round authentic. Chips hand cut and wrapped in newspaper meaning they were nice and soggy and the fish well cooked with tasty batter. Thanks Sundays!

We made the drive over from the Omni to escape resort prices. Housed in the Publix plaza, this is a quaint small, locally owned British pub. I am so glad we did found this place. Thank Yelpers. First, the small fish and chips was great! Huge piece of white fish battered and fried just right served with tater sauce and hand cut fries. The cole slaw was a course homemade with a good flavor. (Don't order the Pinot noir.) The lamb and beef kabob pita was beautifully presented and served with a taziki sauce. The chicken curry was served with a side of rice and very good. The prices were reasonable and the service friendly and good. I would recommend this place?

Got the Little Ben (8oz haddock with chips) and it was pretty good. $9.99 was a decent amount of food. My husband had the battered sausages with chips and he enjoyed it. I really liked the gravy I added on, but there were no prices in the menu and it ended up being $3!!! Wasn't even a bowl-just a little cup. Not worth $3. It was pretty good, but more expensive than we thought it would be. Staff was very nice. I get that this area is kind of touristy, but not sure it's really worth the price. Might check out some other entrees another time. But I'll be careful of the add-ons!!

Great fish and chips. Pretty small restaurant but cool bar environment. They did to go and it was pretty quick. Lots of fish on the big order of fish and chips. Also had the chicken curry, which wasn't quite good as an Indian restaurant but I would order again.

I came here for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised at how great both the food and service were. Let's start with the food. I had the small portion of fish and chips. Good thing I had the smaller portion because the fish fillet filled up half the plate! I can't event imagine how big the larger portion is. The tender, flaky fish was covered in a very light and crunchy golden batter. It was very tasty and not greasy at all, unlike the battered fish you'd get in other places. The accompanying chips/fries were freshly made and not the frozen variety. The lunch price was $7.99 and worth every cent! The service, which only consisted of one friendly barman who reminded me of a young Billy Mitchell from Eastenders, was excellent. He ran the entire front of the house - tending the bar, waiting on tables, etc. That man must have sprinted the equivalent of ten miles during the short time I was there! I will definitely return and bring my Brit husband with me!

Well, that was really disappointing. Came here due to reviews. I had the little Ben, haddock fish and chips. Hubby paid $2 more for cod. Wish I would have done the same. Mine was mushy and dirty tasting. When the waitress came by to ask if I wanted to take the rest of mine home. I said no, I didn't care for it. She just took it away and dropped our check. Barely made it back home before my meal made a return appearance. Yep, lost it. Hubby's wasn't anything spectacular he said, but at least his is staying down. That was a quick $10, should have just gone to a casino. Won't be back.

Don't judge a book by its cover. A fun time and great fish and chips. Karaoke Tim did an awesome job not too loud but lots of fun. It was busy so we had to wait for food a bit but we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Sign outside says Fish-n-Chips.

Super friendly staff, Jackie was so sweet. Draft beer was down due to condenser, but not their fault. Lunch time fish and chips was 7.99 and HUGE! Well worth the stop and when we vacation at Regal Palms, this is a tradition we will continue!! A great, welcoming bar I highly recommend trying.

This was a quaint little place. It looks a little odd from the outside advertising "Liquor" over it, but it is much better from the inside. We had to wait a little bit for our food, but overall it was pretty good. I would go back.

Best marinated chicken on the sesh kabob (spelling?) pita I have ever had! The part that topped it off was the amazing conversation with the owner and waitress! This place should be PACKED every day!

Great atmosphere, went there on a Wednesday night and it was sing along with Mark. He was great and very entertaining. The bangers and mash were awesome and my husband got the fish and chips and they were also delicious. Definitely a great place to go!

Service was good. Waitress had a pleasant British accent. Food was ok. Not bad for a little place in a strip mall.

Awesome wings. Very poor beer selection. I went in on karaoke night recently and it was like I existed inside an episode of the Tim and Eric show. Hella weird. Bartender is friendly. Good service nice food. I don't know why this place has such a terrible reputation locally.

The fish and chips is the best I've had outside of London BUT the service is absolutely horrendous!!! We've been here twice. (Chose to come back this time to see if they can redeem themselves for the first failure, but with no luck.) The owner is a really sweet, welcoming, and kind Londoner who came up and chatted with us for a while. The servers aren't rude or anything.. Just a really slow/neglectful/forgetful. Drinks went un-filled on multiple occasions... We waited for beer with empty glasses for almost 15 minutes... Sit at the bar for better service. Wish this wasn't the case or we would be here much more often. If you have a very patient soul, and are in absolutely no hurry, then try the fish and chips.

Best fish and chips in town. Not sure if they still have it, but they used to offer a great lunch special with fish and chips, 2 for $12. Only issue, you couldn't take it to go.

Good food. Went with a larger group and we all ordered something different so we were able to sample a lot of the menu. Great fish and chips. Burger, steak/cheese, chicken all were hits. Will return.

What a fantastic place to visit. A friendly host from London made us very welcome. Great food..... Loved the fish and chips. Really was top dollar. Nice inside. Clean and tidy and a great theme. Loved the police helmets and have promised to send a police badge over on my return. Can only say great things about this place and would give twenty data if I could. Many thanks for making our stay in Orlando so memorable. Shame florida keys is not as good. Recommended. Forgot to say, the sausage and mash was fantastic too.... Cheers

Went here for lunch with the boyfriend. Small, well appointed place located in a Publix shopping plaza. Unless you're looking for it you're probably going to miss it. We were seated right away and the waitress was friendly and attentive. He ordered the fish and chips which was HUGE and he said was delicious. I ordered the chicken kebab since I don't eat fish (I know, I know. It's a fish and chips joint!). It wasn't my favorite thing ever (I'm not sure how something can be that greasy and still so dry) and the description said that it was chicken with peppers, onions, lettuce, and tomatoes but the actual dish came with mushrooms. I despise mushrooms so that was a little saddening. But the highlight of the meal was the chips. I'm so glad I ordered my own side of chips! These fries were hand cut, chunky almost steak fries. They were fried to perfection and had good flavor. They had malt vinegar on the tables which is amazing and the fries are served in newspaper. I would go back for the fries and not feel bad about it. Apparently they have bar trivia on Monday nights and live music on Friday nights. I would definitely go back because those chips are amazing but I would definitely try something else on the menu besides the kebabs.

Great food! We had the fish and chips and the shepherd's pie and both were fabulous. Will definitely go back. I do have to admit that the menu is small and the service could be a bit more attentive, but the restaurant is cool, the food is fabulous, and it could just be that we came in at an odd time of day. I can see this place being a lot of fun with a good crowd. Apparently they have karaoke nights and other events as well, and I look forward to checking those out!

I had to try this place because of the YELP reviews and I was not disappointed. The strip mall front facade would not draw anyone into this place but once inside, I was hooked. The bar is intimate and inviting, the staff was wonderful and made me feel at home. The Kebabs were good but the chips were Awesome! Check it out if you are in Davenport, FL. It is a great find.

A nice local spot. The shepherds pie is excellent and their other food was good too. Friendly staff and they are big on soccer. Probably the best place to eat in the mall.

Fish & chips were traditional and very tasty, no Harp or Guinness on tap though. British TV on the tele was a nice touch.

Small little British pub in a strip mall next to a Publix. I found it via Yelp. My bangers and mash were very good. I tried my wife's haddock and would try that next time. The chips were not bad. This is right by the Regal Palms resort we go to when visiting Orlando/Disney.
