Not the place to go for flavorful food or good service. I went in for lunch with 3 of us total. There were two tables already seated upon arrival. It took 45 minutes for our appetizer of bruschetta to arrive and another 30 minutes for our lunch to arrive. I got the meatball sub and it was served on a very soft roll so there was no picking it up because the meatballs fell thru the bread every time. I'm fine eating it with a fork but I I think it speaks to the attention to detail in the menu and restaurant overall. I tasted the two pastas and child's pizza also ordered and they were bland. The child's pizza, which seems so simple, was served on cardboard type crust and cheese that looked to be melted by a microwave. There was no bubbling to it as et when cooked in a stove. It was glossy looking and no flavor. The whole place seems like a feeble attempt at a restaurant with the corny Italian decor on the walls. They claim it's authentic Italian food but this is so far from the truth. I would not waste your money.

Best marinara sauce I've had ever. Friendly staff. Casual and relaxing. Kid-friendly. Loved the sausage and peppers.

Found this restaurant on a search of the area. Moved to the area, and being from NY, hoping the other reviews were fairly accurate. Service was pleasant, efficient and unhurried. After a glass of wine, we had some garlic bread; very fresh and tasty with a healthy dose of fresh garlic. Chicken Parmesan dish was very good! Sauce is very fresh, and not overdone like many places. The chicken was nicely coated and was fresh and hot! All the other dishes our party had were also well done. Definitely will return to try more of this menu! A good surprise for a strip mall locale! Thanks!

Good food. Great prices. Great service. Hard to find decent Italian in Florida at a good price. reminds me of great mom and pop restaurants up north. No frills casual dining. Right up my alley!!!! We will be back!!

We were stuck in traffic on Rte 4 and decided to find some place to stop for dinner that wasn't a chain. After finding it on Yelp we found our way in. The food is fantastic! Everything is fresh. The pasta was perfectly cooked & everything we had was great. You would never know how good it is based upon the decor, but if you aren't looking for ambience - just good food it is a must try.

2 nights in a row at this lovely local establishment. Bummed they were out of ribeye when advertised as best steakhouse in the area on 2nd visit, but it was midweek. Had chicken picatta on the first night - tasty, yet quite a different interpretation than I am used to. Second night I had salmon. Again, quite tasty. My server the 2nd night was better than the first one. Offered to give me a child's portion salad when I contemplated not getting one at all due to portion control. It was right on the money. Also, best coffee I'd had all week and I'm a coffee junkie. Try this place and I mean it. Fair prices. Decent wine list. I would certainly return here next time I'm in town.

Delicious Shrimp D'oro and Chicken Parmesan!!! The kids both had spaghetti and meatballs and the serving was huge! Definitely will be coming back.. :)

Nothing special. Not worth the price. Plain white bread used for bruschetta. Smaller portions.

Water in my noodles? The staff were not attentive at all. I asked for a water twice and they kept forgetting lol. I will wait a few more months to give them a third try. I'm not sure how others see the place, but the room was average size felt kind of cramped.

This family/chef owned restaurant delivers on fresh Italian food with layers of bold flavors. The service was stellar. Delish!

Stopped in for lunch while driving home from a cruise. Small Italian eatery. The service was good. Grandson ordered a lemonade that wasn't good. Hubby tasted and said it tasted old but waitress took it back without any problems. I ordered a ceasar salad that easily fed 3 of us and a small personal pizza with spinach and artichoke. Portion size was good in that I got to take home leftovers. Tasty food. Grandson got chicken parm sand which. Said the chicken was a bit dry so he got some extra marinara to dip. Hubs got the Italian Sammy and said it was very good. Under $30 for three of us and I'm a happy camper.

I wasn't overly impressed by the strip-mall decor, but I had high hopes for the food, based on previous Yelp reviews. Unfortunately we were disappointed. Our appetizers were soggy and looked like they had been thrown together by a toddler. Dinner was bland at best. I had veal Marsala, the veal tasted like it had recently been thawed out after a very long stint in the freezer. The Marsala sauce did not seem to actually include any Marsala wine that I could discern. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.

Excellent Italian food. "The best eggplant parm" from my wife who makes a great eggplant parm. I had the shrimp scampi and again, the best. Definitely a restaurant to enjoy a well prepared Italian meal. And pleasant 'rat pack" music. The photo is of the chef on the right and waitress

Ate here tonight after a movie in the same complex. Restaurant looks pretty new. Very nice menu and the prices are very reasonable. I had grilled salmon and my husband and daughter both had a pasta dish. We all enjoyed our dinners very much. Would definitely go back when in the area again. They offer gluten free pasta which is a nice touch.

Very good food . Went for lunch. Only thing I would change would be better flatware. Thought I was eating with little kids fork and knife

Great food! Just plan on spending at least 2 hours of your evening at the restaurant. Also the restaurant does not handle crowds well. FINALLY I HATE WHEN THE TIP IS AUTOMATICALLY ADDED TO THE BILL. I would of tipped 15% to 20%, anyways but I hate having a 20% tip mandated to me.

I have been here quite a few times, every other month maybe. I have only had 1 little incident, but nothing worth giving a lower star rating. BEST spinach and artichoke dip EVER. Order extra bread, you'll run out of bread before dip. Eggplant parm is absolutely delightful. I get the one with the spicy shrimp. Cute little place. Nice atmosphere.

Decent. Not the best but hits the spot. Great for a quick Italian fix. Clean restrooms.

The service is great. My husband and I have always order from the lunch menu. I usually order one on their flat bread pizzas, so good. Their spinach artichoke dip is great too.

If you are from New York and you recently moved to Florida, very quickly you realize you will never again have a decent bagel, pizza or Italian food here! Fear not, the Tasty Ladies of NY have done it again and found the impossible! Great, freshly made authentic Italian food! Greg Golden, chef, owner and manager works long hours to deliver perfect Italiano cuisine to the Davenport area of Florida! With his passion for cooking, his formal culinary study and his years of experience in other restaurants, he knows what it takes to give his patrons the ultimate Italian dining experience! Greg and his staff make you feel welcome as soon as you enter this cozy restaurant with booths and tables, decorated simply with art of Italy on the walls and black linen napkins so ladies like me who wear black clothes do not get white lint all over us, not a TV in site ( thank goodness) and appropriate music playing. We have been to this restaurant over 10 times over the past three years they have been opened and have had consistently great service and more importantly great food! We had as our waitress this past visit Andrea who is warm, friendly with a almost musical southern drawl that knows the menu inside and out and can recommend the perfect wine to compliment each dish! From their appetizers such as Mushroom Brushetta with the best portobello and Crimini mushrooms to their pasta dishes like Shrimp D'Oro with beautifully sautéed shrimp, mushrooms, spinach tossed with a fresh garlic and lemon butter sauce atop Rotini pasta to their traditional entrees of Lasagna, Veal Marsala to our favorite Chicken Parmesan with perfectly crunchy chicken outside and tender inside with a sauce that is comparable to the best restaurant on Arthur Avenue, you will be singing Volare in the streets of Florida! The desserts are also incredible! Zeppolis, Cannolis, Tiramisu to name a few are all made fresh and are delectable! So if you are a native New Yorker transplanted here or just on vacation and yearn for a real Pisano feast, go to D'Oro Palazo and tell them the Tasty Ladies of Ny sent you in!

The ambiance left little to be desired, but we decided to eat here anyway. I was quite surprised at how good my sandwich was, but my grandson didn't really care for his chicken parm sandwish. It was mid-day, so not many customers and it seemed that the server didn't really want to be there, but was helpful and pleasant. I would get take out from this place, but doubt that I would eat here again in the future.

  • Tu N.

Wow. Just about 2 hours for delivery. And everything looked stale. We're on vacation and looked up a pizza place on yelp that was close to where we are staying with 4 or more stars. I can't believe this place has 4 stars. Maybe it's better to eat there. But I suggest people not order delivery.

    (1)
  • MaryEllen S.

Delicious lunch. Meatball sandwich and Italian fries were both tasty. Loved the home made Italian wedding soup. Though the food is great, had to take a star off for the very worn, dirty looking tables and booths. Yikes, throw a tablecloth on until you can remodel and it will be much better.

    (4)
  • Nina Q.

Four stars only because we had it delivered to the hotel and it was cooled off by then. However all the food was delicious! We ordered a side salad with a creamy parm dressing that was very nice. They sent a caprici salad because I had originally wanted one but they ran out of basil leaves, it was still right on the money. My bf had the minestrone and gave it a thumbs up. We shared a chicken park which is the best I've ever tasted, cooked just right. Cheesy bread and a side of meat balls were all aces. I wish we had this restaurant in south Florida, it seems to be a different type of Italian style.

  • Eric L.

I am not a yelp hater that just posts bad reviews, so that is not my intent. I do want to let people know that the food we received at D'Oro a few nights ago was mediocre at best. I hate that because decent food, much less good food, is sorely lacking within a 5 to 10 mile radius of the I4 and US 27 intersection. I would venture to say this is an absolute food desert. All this does not change the fact that you can run to the Target next door and get a better frozen Italian dinner and a bottle of wine for 10 bucks. Don't waste you time here and just break down and preheat the oven. You will thank yourself, and probably me too.

    (2)
  • Rob R.

Chicken parm sandwich is pretty good. I've tried their pizza and calzones.....ehhh. The pizza had a weird taste to the cheese and the sauce was gross on the calzone. Take out/ delivery is usually very speedy. Overall satisfied but definitely nothing out of this world. Management is awesome

    (3)
  • Frank C.

Never again. Portion size is small for the price and the service was poor. We used a Restruant.com coupon and they automatically took an 18% tip. They also included the sales tax as part of the tip.

  • Holly B.

Me and my friends came with our groupon vouchers and then realized we could only use one per table. Darn, the waiter had no exceptions and since we are tourists we had no choice. The food was better than expected, and large portions. Loved the tomato caprese salad and the garlic knots! I probably won't come back bc of the distance but you do get a bang for your buck!

  • A Paul B.

I'm really glad I tried this place, the food was so good. It's like a mom and pop type place which I'm constantly searching for as I don't really care for chain restaurants. I had the spinach artichoke dip after reading another yelpers recommendation and boy was it good. I stated to my wife it may have been the best dip I've ever eaten. I also ordered the meatball sub which was quite delicious. The portions were large so I had some food to go home with. Very happy with this place and would highly recommend eating here. I will be back to eat here again for sure.

A lovely small restaurant with good food, excellent service and good value. We went to this restaurant two nights out of a five-day stay in Davenport. Highly recommend when you just want an easy, no-frills but excellent meal.

  • Heather B.

Service was AWFUL. And not just to my table. I noticed other people frustrated as well. Waiting to be seated took longer than needed, especially since the restaurant was half full. We were ignored and think our appetizer was forgotten because it took longer than your average sit down restaurant. THE WORST PART WAS SEEING A KITCHEN MEMBER IN A DIRTY WHITE WIFE BEATER. Hello people! No one should be in the kitchen with a sleeveless shirt on. For an owner/manager/head chef to allow this questions their whole operation. I would never go back. I would never recommend this restaurant to a friend.

  • Diana R.

I've been here twice now and have had excellent meals twice! I recommend the muscles and Italian wedding soup for apps. One of the best chicken parms I've had, nice crunch to the breaded chicken! Service is just mediocre, but the food makes up for it. This place is usually on groupon or livingsocial, so even better if you can score a deal!

If you are looking for an average Italian meal, this is the place to go. My problem with it is that I am used to good Italian and was hoping for a better than average meal. The staff was friendly. They food tasted good. If you are looking for a really great Italian meal, take the time and drive an extra 10-15 minutes to Bruno's Italian restaurant on 192 in Kissimmee. I compared the Eggplant Parmesan from both establishments and Bruno's came ahead by FAR! Better taste, better priced and larger portion. D'Oro included a couple slices of room temp slices of plain white bread. Spaghetti noodles that might have had some sort of sauce on them and a piece of eggplant that was mainly breading. Bruno's eggplant is a much larger portion of eggplant (good for a second meal the next day). Spaghetti noodles with red sauce. A side salad is included with dressing on the side and a small order of HOT garlic knots! I remember paying $1.00 less for a lot more!

Best chicken parmesan I ever had. I love the potatoes too. Staff is always friendly. Easily one of my favorite restaurants.

Yummy. I've been to this restaurant 2x now and both times we had good food. The first time we went, we used a Groupon. We had the Bruscheta Fresca which was made with the freshest ingredients of tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese, and black olives. There was fresh basil on top and it was served with toast points. I ended up just eating the mixture without the toast points since it was like a great, fresh tomato salad. My boyfriend had the peppers and sausages. The onions were a bit aldente but still good. I had the Fett Carbonara (light sauce) and it was so good with fresh spinach and big chunks of pancetta. The 2nd time we went, we took our friends and they are NYers and they said the food was very good too. This time, we had the spinach/artichoke dip. Very good with lots of cheese and creamy goodness (no calorie counting here). For our meal, my BF had the sausage and peppers again...this time the onions were cooked a bit more. I had the Spaghetti Bolognese. This was amazing too. Now, when I go back, I'm going to try the Tortellini. The price is a bit expensive but with Groupons and Restaurant.com coupons out there, this makes a great place away from all of the chains out on 192. This will definitely be a 'go to' place when we don't know what to fix for dinner. They do take out but I really like sitting at the restaurant and enjoying a glass of wine. Enjoy and mangia.

We live a few miles away and always pass it. We decided tonight was the night to try and we were not disappointed. The food was actually very good and well seasoned. My husband got the Italian Wedding Soup ($5) and the Chicken Parmesan ($14) I got the Caprese salad ($7) and Chicken Piccata ($14). Our server Kennie was excellent and pleasant. The decor needs a revamp though. It a little dated with too bright of lights for a restaurant; kind of felt like we were eating in a hallway or pass-thru. Prices are reasonable. Overall, we will definitely be back; especially for the lunch specials.

  • Chantelle P.

Just had lunch and it was very good. Small and simple atmosphere. Food was great esp their new garlic parm wings!! Yum yum! Service was great too. The only thing I would like to see different is the seating. The booth tables are an awkward size. But I will definite be coming back to try the rest of their menu, even I have to sit on the floor ;)

We had a gift certificate to this place, so decided to try them out. It's a small restaurant, seats up to 50. There was a large party just ahead of us, so it took the hostess a few minutes to get to us (which is understandable). She told us to sit wherever we wanted, and that our waitress would be right over. First thing of note, the booth tables are oddly low (meaning the tops of our legs were snug up against the table tops). I would say my wife and I are average weight/height, and this was a little uncomfortable; you may want to sit at one of the center tables if that's a concern. The waitress took our order relatively quickly, and brought our drinks right away. It took a while for the bread basket to show up, and it was immediately followed by our appetizer. We ordered the garlic bread knots, which were quite tasty. Shortly after finishing our app, our main courses arrived. My wife ordered the sausage over gluten-free penne; mix of sweet & hot sausage was nice, the onions seemed to be a bit undercooked. I ordered the chicken piccata, with asparagus. They were thick cuts of chicken, it would have been nice for them to be butterfly cut, or maybe marinaded to really capture the flavor (i.e. they were a bit bland), or perhaps a bit more lemon/butter sauce to spread on the chicken. The asparagus & potatoes were great. We ordered the creme brulee for dessert, and were not disappointed. $6, and it was a nice deep dish, with a solid caramelized sugar crust. Ambiance - It's a smaller restaurant, with a very simple decor but nice. Service - There were two waitresses on, and as mentioned above, a larger party arrived just before us, and several families shortly after us. The waitress did a good job, but was a little pressed as the restaurant filled. Quantity - Everything had decent portion sizes, plenty of food. Quality - Good, but not great. Chicken needed a little something. Onions with the sausage dish needed a bit more time in the mix. App & dessert were the highlights. Value - Great prices. Both of our entrees were $14, and the app & desserts were both $6. Overall - Somewhere between 3 & 4 stars; the fact they have restaurant.com gift certificates pushed the rating to a 4.

Best shrimp scampi I 've ever had! Delicate butter sauce with the right amount of lemon and they took the tails off the shrimp . We'll definitely be coming back!

Horrible every thing about it. Service, portion size, taste. Would not send my enemies here. Can't express my total disappointment in this place. Menu doesn't even match what is delivered. Save yourself a trip and a lot of money. If I could give it a zero I would.

My girlfriend and I were out shopping when our stomachs started to growl. We wanted pizza, but didn't dare go to Cici's. We didn't want to pay a lot, but didn't want extremely cheap either. When we went in, it was strangely quiet even though there were a couple of other tables of people. A little background music might have helped. We chose our table in the back and away from the others. Our server was very attentive and very helpful. We both ordered pizza and were served bread while we waited. The pizza was very good and we'll probably go back again.

Food is awesome, SEATING and TABLES suck, if you sit in a booth, the tables are so low it is like eating off your lap, have complained, others have complained.. Owner does nothing owner needs to update seating with proper, comfortable chairs and booths, Also, do not visit on Thursdays when the owner is not cooking, relief chef sucks prices are high, no diner specials... menu prices only, every food item billed separately and adds up quick, spaghetti and meatballs and salad, will cost you 50 bucks for 2 people again, food is good, over all very uncomfortable seating and high priced

    (4)
  • Josh N.

Started with the bread, with a awesome garlic/olive oil dipping sauce. The kids ate up all their spaghetti and meatballs, so good ;) my oldest had the Alfredo which she thought was good. Dad and mom had appetizers which were calamari and the anti pasta. We loved everything from start to finish. It is well air conditioned so if you like it a bit on the warmer side bring a cardigan because you don't want to miss out on the amazing food.

Don't ever come to this place. We were seated at 900 and didn't get our appetizers until 947 and then got our entrees at 948. The server blamed it on the cook and I use the word cook because there is no way a chef would ever serve the food we ate. I wanted a pasta dish with more meat and less pasta so I paid for an up charge, thank god I did as I barely had any sausage in my bowl even with the "extra" sausage on the plate. The server was less than helpful. NEVER going back to this place again.

    (1)
  • Seiya L.

Good food but there is a bit of a wait for a seat and for the food(most likely because the place is usually packed at night).

    (4)
  • Michael D.

My wife and I dine here once or twice a month. We both feel the price and quality are very good. Our favorite dishes are the veal parm and the eggplant parm. The wine is reasonably priced too. The wait staff is very good also. The restaurant could use some redecorating though.

  • Robert S.

The service was excellent. We were a group of 5 and were under a 1 hour time crunch (which we forgot to tell the waitress). We were in and out of the restaurant within an hour. The food was cooked very well and the prices were perfect. From salad to chicken parm, to a meat pasta dish, everyone was very satisfied. One of the guys had been down to the area before and told us that he went here everyday for lunch, 5 days in a row.

Chicken parm was amazing! Italian wedding soup is excellent!! Great flavors with a home made broth. Great food not over priced! Keep an eye out on for the groupons and the living social deals! You can't beat it!!

I keep seeing signs around that they have the "best steak in town" and that's a lie. Drive the extra bit and go to Manny's Chophouse if you want a GREAT steak,

Don't know about other reviews but I am suspicious regarding any restaurant located in a strip mall. Talk about judging a book by it's cover, was I wrong in this case. Went for lunch with the wife a few weeks ago and was blown away. Asked the server if they could make a realy thin Chicago pizza and yes they could. 30 seconds later, the chef emerged from the kitchen and asked if I wanted a crispy thin crust that would not bend. First, I was amazed the chef would ask in person, then excited because he knew exactly what I was searching for. Wife ordered chicken parmesan and it was delicious. My pizza was tasty, crispy and did not bend. Chef even came out again and wanted to know if that was what I had in mind. Best pizza since long ago in Chicago. Wife loved the chicken parm even though she had to work to finish the large portion. Waiter suggested a fresh made creme brule and that was awesome as well. This was a wonderful dinning experience that should teach me a lesson about how truely great food can be found in unexpected places.

I came back again and they fixed there old bumpy benches which was great because they use to irritate me.The food was better But I feel the portions served got smaller.I think they should get a coffee maker surely the sales would increase.

Garlic knots, salad and soup were amazing. Husband's chicken Marsala was delicious, but I was not a fan of their carbonara sauce. I couldn't finish it. Service was awesome. Tiny place, but we'll go back :)

Service is absolutely abysmal. Paid for our teas and walked out after a 40 minute wait for a lunch-sized pizza. The wait staff was rude and completely ignored us after they took our order. We live locally and will never return.

  • Michael N.

Over priced ala carte italian restaurant. Food is fair and atmosphere dreary with very uncomfortable bench seats. The table was sticky and seats were dirty. Put a table cloth on the table at least!! I ordered Chicken Piccata which was the worst I ever had. I thought I received the wrong meal, but they said that it was correct. Cost extra for salad or pasta. $5 for lunch? I don't think so. Thy only had pizza when I went there. Go to D'Antonio's in Celebration or Luigi's in Lake Alfred instead. Definitely SO Much better, and worth the drive.

I'm not really sure how to review this restaurant. The service for my group was terrible. We waited for several minutes before we were even asked if we wanted to be seated, then we sat for almost ten minutes before being asked if we needed menus and if we wanted drinks. The group next to us seemed to get pretty good service however, they arrived after us, were seated without lots of awkward standing around and given menus and bread before us. My party was starving, after ordering and waiting a while we stopped a waitress to ask for bread. Foodwise-maybe 1/5th of the food was tasty. Some food was way too salty, some was WAYYY too bland. Overall, the food was mostly ok, service was terrible, and the prices are a little high considering the food/portions.

WOW!! While on vacation at Disney World, we took a family of 10 to D'Oro Palazzo in Davenport. It was delicious, portions were huge and the service was outstanding. They accommodated us easily, although it is a smaller establishment. It was cozy and terrific. Do not be scared off by other reviews or by the location. Yes it is in a strip mall location, but so what, its clean, safe and the food and service are out of this world. prices were fair as well. Will certainly go back, next time we're near.

The management needs to be flexible and customer friendly if it wants customers to come back. The food was good, atmosphere ? well there is none but they don't claim to have any. But they denied our request to use a local coupon book discount because another couple in our party had a Restaurant.com certificate. Although a different couple, and separate checks, they said we were combining the coupon with the certificate. Are they kidding? They really needed to rethink their decision, but were not at all flexible or responsive to our requests to re-think this whole thing. Instead of encouraging customers (which is the intent of coupons and certificates) they have turned us into no-returns.

Great service! The pasta was chewy and perfectly cooked. I ordered the sausage and peppers pasta; the sausage is fantastic. My boyfriend ordered the marinara dish and liked it (although I think not as much as I liked my sausage). It's always good to find good food at an independent place. Looking forward to trying more on the menu. Wish there was a puttanesca on it. :-)

I've driven past this little Italian Eatery a couple dozen times while shopping in Posner Park and a couple days ago after purchasing a Groupon deal, we stopped in. I'm a New Yorker and a CIA grad so I'm privy to good Italian food. I can't even contain myself -- this meal was outstanding! Ordered the Calamari which was laced with pickled Italian peppers -- which I swear were homemade -- and black olives served with aïoli and pomodoro sauce. The squid was seasoned, breaded and fried perfectly. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan -- which I feel is the ultimate true test of a great Italian joint. This did not disappoint. It was juicy, crispy, and piping hot! Served in the perfect pool of pomodoro sauce atop creamy, buttery linguine, it sent me to the most heavenly carb-induced happy spot. The significant other got the Linguine Bolognese which was creamy, hearty and equally as satisfying. We filled up on bread which was pretty good and they even have their own seasoned olive oil for dipping. Our server was friendly, helpful and joked around with us which totally made us feel welcome. The only sort of disappointment was the tables! I'm a tall guy (6'5") and the tables are deceivingly low and the booth seat was high so it created an uncomfortable seating position for me. But hey, if that's the only thing wrong with this Italian Haven -- I'll most certainly be back. And if you're thinking about checking out this place: I say go for it. The time is now to support local businesses. Expect a friendly face and a great homemade Italian meal.

Wonderful on all counts! On a busy Saturday night we were seated right away, the food was delicious, and the service quick & friendly! There were four in our party and each one of us raved about our individual choices. The restaurant was full, but it was quiet enough for us to visit with our friends over a great dinner. We could not have chosen a better place!

Just had dinner there. The food was very good. I has tortellini and wife liked her eggplant parmesan very well. Service was good, we were the first of three tables while there. Always scary going into a place with no customers. We would not hesitate to go back.

I was hesitant to try this place after reading some bad reviews, but one day my mom, sister in law, and I stopped in for pizza. We had a groupon and the waitress was really helpful in showing us how to use it. She also mentioned during that time that this place will deliver if you live nearby. One night, out of curiosity, my husband and I decided to try it. We ordered steak and pasta and it was delivered faster than a pizza from Papa John's would be delivered. The food is all really good and reasonably priced. They also do not charge a delivery fee, just whatever you want to tip the delivery guy or girl.

So, sauce from a can, meatballs without taste, lasagna that's not made or baked in a pan (two noodle strips with sauce thrown on it, sprinkle of cheese and baked on the dinner plate for 7mins? Come on now!) and garlic bread that was average at best. I'd normally be all for supporting local mom and pop places, but can't support this one. If the lasagna was at least made the proper way.... Our group sampled a few other items and overall we felt it was just lacking in taste and quality. We never got that bread with oil dip other review spoke about and service was meh, not great though. Btw, the eggplant Parmesan was deep fried in the same deep fryer as the deserts, you could taste the sugar and a few other things that would not belong with eggplant.

Ate here and was very surprised by the flavor of the items. Not impressed with bread at table with oil/spice mixture. But I ordered the steak flatbread, calamari and tiramisu. The calamari was typical but the flatbread had amazing flavor on a nice tasty thin flatbread...The tiramisu was great as well! Will definitely be back! Yum! Waitstaff was friendly and helpful.

The simple fact is this restaurant brags a lot about being the best. It's just not. We received poor service, poor attitudes, and bad food. In fact, the food we ate made both my wife and I sick. We thought it would be impossible to mess up spaghetti and meatballs, we were wrong. We won't be returning to this restaurant anytime soon

Ew. Undercooked bread. Salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions that had been sitting in the fridge for far too long. Soup that tasted like chicken stock with garlic.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
