At this Denny's we experienced Excellent service Breakfast was as we ordered it, and tasty Cost was very good. $17 for the 4 of us. Service is what earns them the 4 stars this time, as it's Denny's which to me is just a 3 star place in general.

I've been going to this Denny's for the last three years. The service is usually wonderful. The waitresses are pretty attentive and friendly. The bathrooms are clean! And I was shocked to see how clean their high chairs were! (I have a 9 month old daughter and I carry Clorox Wipes with me to clean things while we are out before I put here in them - like high chairs. After "cleaning" their high chair, there was hardly any "dirt" on the wipe! ) I was impressed! Go Denny's!

Not our first choice for breakfast when exiting I-4 at US27 but offered immediate seating instead of a 30 minute wait in a rocking chair. It was cold in here with lots of condensation on the windows. The place was probably ¾ full and lively. There was also a guy going around making balloon animals for the kiddies. My wife picked the American Slam and I went with the French Toast Slam. Both arrived fairly quickly and looked appetizing. My only complaint is while it looks like you get a lot from the menu description in reality you don't. The sausage links served were the smallest I've seen and the bacon strips equally dinky. Service was initially cold but warmed up towards the end as we chatted up our server. One weird thing is they serve the syrup in vinegar bottles that dribble out the syrup at a snail's pace. More annoying than anything else. There is a traffic light out front on the restaurant making it super easy to get in and out of with the heavy traffic on 27.

Don't get me wrong, I love Denny's; it's a late night or Saturday breakfast staple. This location, however, has severely gone downhill with a quickness. The last time I attempted to dine here, I left after waiting 15 minutes to be seated, literally 15 minutes. While I seated myself after 7 minutes of waiting over my last visit, it took an additional 20 minutes for someone to come greet us. Over that time we witnessed 4 parties leave and one couple walk out on their check because no one came to the register to take their payment. When I inquired with the waitress as to what was going on and mentioned both experiences and the lost customers she blew it of as if it was no big deal. MANAGEMENT: Staff more servers over late weekend nights and have a hostess to greet, seat and work the register.

It only gets 2 stars from me because I was sat quickly. My 4 years old and I didnt see our server the entire 15min we were there. A guy did come over to take a drink order. He returned with a dirty coffee cup. We left and went next door to waffle house. Never again will I go to that Dennys. They weren't even that busy!

My girlfriend and I went for my free birthday breakfast this year. I should be happy with a free meal, right? Our server was nice, but service was super slow. Even for something like breakfast that should be quick. My girlfriend got a breakfast burrito and it was totally broken, but flipped over to hide it. I don't think I'll be going back.

I've only been to this location once and will not being going back again. I took my parents there after coming from The showcase of citrus in Clermont. We all decided to get the grand slam breakfast only because they had a special promotion on them. And we were all disappointed in what we got. It looked like we had gotten cheated out of what used to be the grand slam. Sausage tasted like the sausage that you pop in the microwave to cook. The scrambled eggs, I think, were split between all three of us. Won't be visiting another Denny's anytime soon.

Ok, so here we go. I don't know what happened to this Denny's Restaurant. I used to come here and the service was quick and the food was good. Now this place sucks. Last time we came they took 15 minutes to attend to us while we waited. The place wasn't packed and they had two waitresses. There was no one I front of us or behind us. I'm truly am not exaggerating about the time. 15 minutes. At that point when the waitress came I told her forget it we're going down the street to Perkins. They sat us down immediately. So now I thought let me give it a chance and try it once more. So now I came in and I stood for 10 minutes with no one to attend us finally the waitress came over and I told her can I get a booth she said it would take 5 minutes. The lady then started cleaning every booth while we stood there. Instead of clearing one table sitting us down and then continuing while we review the menu. Instead I grabbed two menus and sat my self down with my girlfriend. We looked over the menu and about 10 minutes later a couple was sat behind us. 5 minutes later the waitress passed us and went to them who sat behind us. I literally had to say that we've been sitting here before them and you ignored us. I to her about our previous experience and her reaction was just "oh", what the hell is "oh". The food was fine nothing against the food, but they truly lack cordial service. This place has truly gone downhill. They have received my stamp of disapproval. The last time I visit this particular location. Seek another place.

Disgraceful service, escorted to a table where we sat for 20 minutes, not even offered a drink, hardly anyone in there and they couldn't be bothered serving us. Walked out and went elsewhere - if I could 0 stars, I would have. (Visiting from Australia and this was our Denny's experience)

Not your typical Denny's it feels like a bar and grill!! They have tvs and a pool table ! Kids had fun when they finished . Allow us time to eat the normal Denny's servings . Our server was good and courteous . We were seated very quickly too!

  • Caitlin R.

Yay! I love Dennys. I had the Fit Veggie Skillet which came with a lot of veggies that were not doused in oil and egg whites. The coffee was good, and tomato juice too. mmm!

No service for 30 minutes even for a drink and it was not busy at all. I couldn't believe it when they served 2 couples who were seated after my friends and me. I'm under the impression that they were ignoring us since we looked younger and I felt very discriminated for my age. We drove off hungry to the Waffle House near by and they SERVED us within seconds even though it was a full house and extremely busy. Never going back to Denny's ever again.

I was on my way to the doctor and decided to stop and get a quick something to eat . When we first sat down the waitress was very nice greeted us at that point it all turns south. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich which was raw in the middle the tomato that was on it had a rotten spot on it about the size of a quarter it was disgusting if I had not opened it I would have never known and ate it I say to the guy. because I was sitting at the counter, that cooked it, excuse me ,and held the tomato up .after about the third time he looked at me with this stupid smart ass look .and get this .he said that has nothing to do with me. and don't look at me like that ,I have never been spoken to like that from someone I'm paying to do something for me needless to say that didn't go over well with me and my friend not sure who's running this joint but a serious overhaul of employee training needs to take place

I stopped here to grab breakfast on my way to do some shopping. I was greeted and seated right away. It was not crowded at all. The server came promptly and asked what I wanted to drink. I asked for hot tea, preferably and English breakfast tea. She smirked and said, "all I got's Lipton." I didn't have a problem with that, just the way she said it. She was quick and came back with my tea. No saucer, just a cup so there was nowhere to put my wet teabag or spoon which was annoying so I had to put it on a napkin on the table which ended up wet too. I ordered the create your own slam, 2 eggs, grits, 2 sausage links, 2 slices of bacon. The food came back fairly quickly. The eggs were a little under cooked (I ordered over medium) but still okay. I took a bite of the sausage and had to immediately spit it out into my napkin. It was bad! I almost heaved. The manager came by and asked if everything was alright and I told him the sausage was bad. He said, "you know, there have been quite a few people that have told me that today but I checked them and they're fine." REALLY?????? It should only take one person to tell you that!!! I was appalled. He said he would go check again and came back and said there were 9 left on the grill so he threw them out and put fresh ones on. He asked if I wanted some. "No thanks." I wonder how many people are going to be puking their guts up tonight because that guy did nothing after being told again and again that the sausage was bad. I travel the country and have been to Denny's in at least 13 states. It's always been a decent meal. I'm not sure when/if I'll go to another one but definitely never again to the corner of I-4 and Hwy 27. UPDATE: On the way home I had to put the pedal to the medal. Sick at my stomach :(

It's a Denny's so food is typical and the service is SLOW. Although they are very friendly but waiting over an hour for food is ridiculous. The place is not busy and we all ordered breakfast food.
