Best Mexican food I've had in a long time. Presentation is not the best and the dinning room is very hot, but worth it. Your taste buds and wallet will thank you.

This place is ridiculously & authentically delicious! Their tortillas are made from SCRATCH! Anyone who has had freshly made tortillas can agree. They fill your tacos with so much meat, and they have a variety of toppings. So much to add to your tacos, I love it. The agua de horchata was good, just wish they gave bigger glasses for what your paying. The young girl at the register was sweet and alert; she was definitely on top of things being only 16-17 at the most. The cook was quick and seemed pretty confident in what he was doing; which now, after a full belly, I can deff say he did pretty dang good job. We didn't sit outside, there was too many Mosquitos, but we did sit in a booth inside. Place was very neat and very clean. The bathrooms! We're very spacious and VERY CLEAN. Deff recommend this to anyone wanting amazing tacos

Great roadside authentic Mexican food!! Only downside is the flies outside. Not sure how they could make that any better. We tried the chicken tacos and quesadilla. Both were fantastic. They have a condiment bar with toppings and salsa which was great! The best was the pineapple water. Will stop here every time we drive thru Clewiston!

I have found a gem in the middle of nowhere! Thank you baby Jesus! I'm so excited about it that I just took the time to add their business to yelp. Driving through Clewiston, there were seemingly no good choices for food so we were going to pass though the town until we spotted this taco stand (they are brick and mortar too). It looked authentic to us so we stopped. Holy cow, great find! Everything is very fresh. They have roasted pork AND pastor (which is pork on a spit, usually w pineapple...prob in the marinade in this case), and they had plenty of other meats to choose from--of course chicken, beef, and even tongue. They have a great topping bar with sauces, fresh limes, sliced cucumbers, onions w/cilantro and more! They serve the meals with beans w/sausage. And to drink they serve beer, but we got the fresh pineapple juice and fresh horchata which was crazy good...it's a rice milk flavored with cinnamon. Mmmmmm. Listen, this place makes fresh tortillas, that's all you need to know. I wasn't even thinking that Clewiston must have some Mexican businesses because of all of the harvesters that must have settled there. I hope these rednecks appreciate these great tacos!

So tasty! We were driving back to Miami and looking for a cheap, mid-trip place to eat and discovered this place. Friendly, happy staff, reeeallly tasty tacos, great music and (my wife tells me to add) clean bathrooms. Worth driving a few miles out of the way to experience.

Amazing Tacos for an amazing price! Not fancy by all means but extremely clean! Located in the middle of state road 27 where there are not too many restaurants. I am so glad I took the time to check the reviews !

Wow. Some of the best Mexican food I've ever eaten. True street vendor style tacos in an outdoor indoor restaurant setting. Ordered tacos and cashier handed us cups of beans with pork that was truly delicious. The tacos were made right in front of you and a salsa buffet was filled with fresh toppings. Best stop we made on our weekend trip.

Two days in a row... yes please! So this place is no fancy restaurant by any means... think of it as a taco truck with an area for indoor eating area... if you aren't looking for ambience, but you are looking for some delicious authentic mexican food, this is the place... you order outside and bring your ticket inside and let the chef know what you like... he cooks it in front of you and serves it up piping hot on Styrofoam plates... they have a little salsa bar with all the fixings needed to enhance your tacos and quesadillas! Come here for the food, forget the rest... take it to go if you can't do the heat... you won't be sorry!

An amazing find. This place is one of the best Mexican joints you will find in South Florida. You will not find a burrito here, but you will find great tacos, Aguas frescas, fresh salsas. The staff is so friendly which ads to the charm of the place which is literally a dive.

Best tacos I've had outside if Mexico itself. They're the real deal and the condiments cilantro salsas chiles cebollas etc are fresh. It's worth the trip from the coasts to eat here.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
