Being from Detroit, this is one of the most authentic Coney Island restaurants I have ever been to. Just like home and the original Lafayette Coney Island. I work in the area and stop by tonight for the pre grand opening. Excellent staff all from Michigan great restaurant, good service, and excellent food. Not only do they serve original Coney Island dogs, they serve Faygo Saunders hot fudge and better made chips, if you're from the D you know what I'm talking about.! This is my new favorite restaurant, and will be yours stop by and check it out.

This is one of those do-not-miss- little hole-in-the-wall places. Not only is their food full of flavor and made fresh but the guys working there actually talk to you. Happy hour all day @ $2 a beer can't be beat easier. ...

This place is awesome. The people there are cool and really want to make this place a little slice of home and they succeeded. Everything from the food to the decor rocks. I found my new hangout.

If you are from the Detroit area, run, don't walk, to Detroit Coney Island! We've tried every coney dog joint in Pinellas and haven't found anything close to the Detroit area coneys that we've been missing so much. This restaurant delivers old school coneys and other Michigan favorites (polish platter a la Hamtramck; Sanders hot fudge cream puffs; Faygo, Vernors, gyros) in a super cool urban atmosphere (industrial steel tables, graffiti art) served with love by a great family from the Detroit area. Coneys were spot-on (chili, onions, mustard), fries were hot and crispy, Rock n' Rye rocked, and the hot fudge cream puff was delicious. CANT WAIT TO GO BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for bringing some Detroit Love to Pinellas :) ps - next time I'm hitting the men's room for a photo op - heard there is Rat Fink art....

Love love love this place! It is the best place for me to get a piece of my birthplace! The coney islands are just like I remember from Michigan many years ago! The owner is a upper nice guy! I highly recommend this place!

This little hole in the wall joint is one of the most awesome restaurants I've eaten at in the Tampa Bay area. On the site home made pastrami, corned beef, and Coney chili. This family run business is right on point ensuring quality cooked to order menu at honest fair prices in the heart of Clearwater Beach, this is a must stop for hungry beach goers. If the pastrami hamburger is any indication of what the Ruben sandwich is going to be I can only imagine it's off the chart, and I can't wait to return and try it.

Honestly surprised I'm only the 4th review. Let's just say I brought my slightly hungry boyfriend here for lunch one day and I had half of their very large serving of the polish platter I believe (in my photos) and he not only ate mine but both a regular hot dog and a coney dog! It was delicious! The only problem anyone is going to have with this place is finding parking but believe me when I say it's worth it. Try behind the tennis courts. The food was delicious and I hope to come by some night and get a faygo float. They also had a crumble peanut butter pie that sounded delish!! I've been full time local for 3 years this month from up north (parents from Detroit) and my only beef with the beach was no great hotdogs. Five stars, thumbs up and don't go anywhere unless it's a bigger location and expanding.

Finally!! After trying several things restaurants call coney dogs, I found one that actually does! Pretty authentic. The fries were excellent, as well as the Rock 'N Rye, of course. The Saunders cream puff was perfect! I will be going back often.

As a native Detroit girl I was dying to try this spot. It did not disappoint!! Hot dogs that snap and chili as good or better than Detroit dogs!! The owner was so friendly and personable. Even though they were close to closing time he offered up to get us some coney-all the way. All of us were super satisfied and enjoyed some Fago POP!! And founders beer- so good. Going back to try the hani and Monday night meatloaf that we hear is amaze!

Amazing! We are originally from Green Bay and Chicago, not Detroit, but this was the best meal I've had at the beach, ever! Solid coney dogs and burgers, great fries, and a really cool place all around. We will be back for sure!

Wow just like I remember, second time here and still not pass the coney dog. The snap, the chili, true Detroit. Redhots and Redpop my childhood favorite. Just charge 12 for the T-shirts and I will get two. Eat here first not were you thought the food was good.

We had a great experience and of course the food was AMAZING!! The atmosphere is fun and upbeat, the bathrooms oddly enough are so cool and I can't say enough about the people that work here!!! I love talking about Detroit with people who know and are from Detroit!!! We wilk be coming back!!

This is a great little hot dog stand right off the beach. Staff was great and attentive. Food is excellent. I had a coney dog with cheese and chili, not something I normally eat but I thought what the heck. The beer selection was actually really good considering the size of the place. They had founders IPA which I love. My daughter had chili fries and a root beer float and my wife had a dog as well. The best part was the cream puff with ice team and hot fudge. Man, was that good! If I'm ever in clearwater beach again, we are heading there.

I love their drink specials & that they have outdoor seating. This will be a frequented spot! Recommend highly.

Unbelievable food at awesome prices! Owner and 3 of his 6 children were onsite during our visit! Great family who are very involved in the food prepared. My hubby and I split the walleye platter Sunday afternoon then went back Monday for the amazing meatloaf Monday! Check out the super clean bathroom with graffiti art which was also done by the owners.

The only time I could eat coney islands was when I went back to Detroit to visit which is once a year. In my 15 yrs living here, I've tried some restaurants who say they were a "Detroit Coney". All failed. So I was skeptical when this place opened. Wow! This place is it! Just like back home. True coneys! Food was great and the staff definitely cared and made sure you were taken care of. Try to avoid during lunch hrs. Gets very busy and being how small it is, seating is limited and you will have to wait. Thank you for opening and bringing a taste of home to Florida!

Great place. Friendly staff and owner. Food selection is great. I had the Michigan Cherry Salad, Coney Island Dog and Fries. Everything was delicious and the fries were just as good if not better than McDonalds. Lol. Back real soon.

Lived in Detroit... Live in Clearwater. This place made me miss Detroit. Called late for a delivery and the owner said he'd drop it off himself. The overall sense of community came back to me. It isn't me, its us....showed up later that night with the best dogs and chili fries... I ate all four, plus the fries. He said "nobody tips the owner..." As he dropped off the food. All I can say is wow...

I'm not from Detroit. I'm from New York, where Coney Island is actually located. This place did a nice job with their chili, great people (family run), two issues I had. One, I cant fathom eating a hot dog that doesn't have a casing and some snap to it. They were over boiled (a hot dog should never touch boiling water) and skinless. Maybe that's how they do it in Detroit? I'll wait till I have dentures. Two, I ordered a coney, got it to the car and when I looked in there was no cheese. Checked the menu and cheese is extra. At the very least, someone should have asked if I would like cheese on my dog. Never heard of a coney without cheese. In any case, I wish them well as they are a good bunch of people otherwise this would have been a three star review.

Very authentic! Love this place and the owners and waiters are wonderful people. Besides great coneys, they have walleye, perch, pierogies, Greektown salad, Michigan Cherry salad, Polish kielbasa, Better Made chips, Faygo, Vernors, and Sanders hot fudge cream puff!!! They did it right and the atmosphere is right on. The owner did all the painting and it's worth checking out. It's nice to have a taste of home especially when it's done right. 313 to 727 I'm visiting Clearwater but I hear there's one in Tempe, AZ I will check out when I return to AZ.
