I wrote this review a month ago but somehow it got listed for Red Lobster. So I'm re-posting it. Let me start with the service, I was greeted by a very enthusiastic person who talked to us all the way the table, Very cool. Then our waitress greeted us her name is Jessica and she was amazing. Food was great but what really impressed us was Jessica. She was attentive and very helpful. We never wanted for anything. I would definitely come again, and hopefully have the same waitress. My Fiancé and me were extremely impressed with both food and service.

Not my favorite but mostly because of my first experience. The seasoning made the dungenous crab and lobster inedible. - this is however, one of the last places my Mom and I had (for round 2) and having learned best to steam and enjoy clarified butter.. It made this dining experience a whole lot better. The server was great. The lobster was pretty tasty but.. somehow the shrimp .. just didnt make the cut. :( All things said.. a couple of beers and mom and I chalked another day of great conversation and love. Miss you so much Mom.

I've never had crab unless my grandma or grandpa was making it.. But this place the outside of the crab was seasoned really well and they give you big pieces of crab for what you pay for. Me and my friend split the crab pot for two. And it was filling it came with a lot of crab, potatoes , shrimp and your choice of corn on the cob,French fries or hush puppies. Get the corn the corn on the cob was bomb didn't need salt or pepper. Also come on Tuesday and get the happy hour all day. You can get little appetizers and the hurricane is really good and it's unlimited we got like four and also the pineapple pine colda is a must try... It was amazing!!!!!

Fantastic place. Great food. Best coconut shrimp ever. Lobster spot on. Drinks great. Atmosphere fantastic. Don't like Orlando but joes makes up for it.

This place sucks. A bucket full of lame crabs, without any seasoning, whatsoever. To make matters worse, the price was well over $100 for a dinner with my wife. Eat at a real crab house and you would never go to this sort of place again. The Crab Stop in Daytona is one such place; mind blowing food and much less expensive than this make believe crab restaurant.

The server was great but the food hardly lived up to the reviews. I ordered the Jumbo fried shrimp platter with a side of fried clams. The batter was wet and gooey that the shrimp and clams were falling apart from it and it was basically eating raw seafood inside of uncooked batter. Done with this place for its prices. The other family has crab cakes and crab legs which was not the greatest. For their prices go to a seafood restaurant otherwise you're better off getting frozen food from a grocery store or Chinese carry out on a corner. One and done, won't every return for their food.

Like any Joe's Crab Shack, the food was super expensive. We were cheated 5 shrimp out of our 18 count shrimp bucket. The buckets of crab we got were way too spicy and hard to enjoy. The ambiance was nothing to write home about but the waiter was nice. Eh is all I can say!

Great food, but Hurried waitresses. Missing many items, but waitress was too busy with the total of 4 tables, she couldn't wait for me to ask for all missing items. Had lobster & crab pot, it was perfect and large portion.

Joe's is the place to unwind after a day at North Beach .... And after fighting the traffic from St Petersburg back to Celebration (Orlando)... The unwinding has started with a house salad which is large and well put together and an order of fries . Joe's fries are always tasty but this time they are not very warm and not the usual crunchy we like ! The fries were replaced immediately- the new ones were HOT & CRUNCHY!! Our Category 5 Hurricanes are fantastic !! Thanks to Amanda & Sam for a happy time at Joes!

after going to Joe's in Naples, and Kissimmee west, we went to this one and got served a bad crab, how anyone in the kitchen missed this is beyond belief, yes we got an apology from the server, no manager showed up and nothing was deducted from our bill. they did bring out a second dish fairly quickly.

Been to this one and other branches. Average at best. Service was good, food was timely, but it was average. Nothing great. Good for a quick lunch.

Came here on a Friday night. We sat outside on the patio, as the weather was perfect and they have a playground that my daughter wanted to play on. The service was excellent. The waitress was very knowledgeable, helpful and nice. I ordered the Southern Stuffed Shrimp and a cup of chowder. The chowder was very hearty with tons of clams. The shrimp are stuffed with crab meat and wrapped in bacon. Delicious. The only reason I gave them one star less is I don't like the loud, raucous atmosphere of Joe's.

  • Harley M.

Really really good. Only reason for 4 out of 5, the service was a little on the slow side of things.

    (4)
  • Sheila C.

The food and service were very good. I got a crab pot with mussels, scallops, corn and potatoes. Everything was good and the crab was nice and sweet. I did not finish the corn and potatoes so I could save room for the yummy s'mores dessert.

  • Tom M.

My daughter wanted a "fun" place to eat so we went here. We had fun and shared a steam pot. Joe's seafood is well seasoned and tasty. I love the sausage in the steam pots. The potatoes were a bit under cooked. Service was very friendly, almost too much, but it is part of the atmosphere here. We like Joe's and likely will continue to visit when we can.

The food was good. Service was great. My mom had a little issue with the small amount if crab legs they gave her but the manager corrected it immediately. Server was great as well. The only thing that stopped me from giving them 5 stars was the restroom, smell of urine and not tidy. I probably would come back in the future.

We ate here yesterday.my fiancee and friends ordered crabs legs ,I the fish and shrimp with fries. Food and service is great thank you.

Can't believe there are no reviews here. Great location, great drinks and very good food. Right here in Celebration, even Walt would love this place. We look for Joe's when we can hit happy hour 4-7 and 9 to close. The hurricane's are always good and we pair them with house salads for a really cheap evening. The food is mostly fried and shellfish but you can find healthy entree with out much trouble.

Slow staff, unfriendly, and filthy bathrooms. I'm sure they get away with it because all tourists.

Loved it the service was fast & friendly. That was my first time going & the food was delicious. .. will be going back.

The food was absolutely amazing and the staff was very friendly, even if the service was a little slower than was desired. Overall I'd recommend this location to anyone going through the area craving seafood.

What a great place food was amazing, service was awesome since we were new to the chain got great recommendations from our server. The atmosphere was fun and allowed for a great meal. Bring your appetite!

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy. I don't know how else to describe this place. It's almost like eating in an adult version of Chuck E Cheese with copious amounts of alcohol and Steven Urkel from Family Matters is the manager. Yeah, I know it's a chain, and a pretty lame one at that, but when vacationing in the land of Disney you are surrounded by these places all up and down route 192 in Kissimmee. I think every chain restaurant and fast food place known to man is here. Service was fine and attentive if a little bit hyper peppy. I decided to go with Joe's Classic Steam Pot - $24 - dungeness crab, snow crab, boiled shrimps, smoked sausage, corn on the cob, and a few small potatoes. Sprinkled with an old bay seasoning. For the price I expected a bit more food as it seemed these are really pre-set up in a mesh bag, and it was a lot of work to do for the minimal portion. Still, it didn't taste all that bad and was decent for a fun meal with the parents. Our waitress even came up behind me to put a large lobster bib around my neck. Too funny. The menu is pretty full with a lot of assorted seafood based appetizers and platters, steam pots, surf and turf, and some things for the land lubbers. Always seems like the pictures on the menu look a lot better than what you actully receive. The atmosphere is all goofy like and feels like you are eating in a bargain basement hodge podge of lights and assorted garage sale junk nailed to the walls and ceilings. At least there is a bar in here and flat screens everywhere that had the ball game on. When the staff starts dancing and singing to corny songs I don't know whether to cringe, laugh, or feel sorry for them. Again, I guess it's ok to eat here when on vacation in the area. Definitely on the "meh" side but at least the goofiness and fun of it all, along with the good service, makes it a tolerable cheesy meal experience.

We came here on a weekend trip to Disney. The food is out of this world but the service was horrible. Waited the better part of 20 minutes before our order was taken. Wait staff kept on going back and forth saying "it's not my table". The food gets 5 stars. The service gets a 1. Can't say I'll be going again.

    (2)
  • Taylor D.

Had a reservation for 15 and got seated fairly quickly. Service was great. She even put gloves on and helped us crack open the crabs! Food tasted great! Overall an okay experience!

    (4)
  • Flemming J.

This is a crab shack and supposed to be messy and rowdy. The Dungeness crab is very good and we came away very satisfied. This is not a place to eat your ordinary deep fried and breaded fish. Roll up your sleeves and dig into a bucket of crabs.

    (4)
  • Michael N.

My wife and I have been wanting to go here for a while and were unimpressed. Place is not the cleanest, very overrated and priced, and the portions were small and food was Fair at best. I had Mahi Mahi and the portion was about three bites. No bread or anything on the table. We left feeling hungry. Well we had our one and only experience at Joes Crab Shack. We should have gone to UNO Pizzaria as planned.

    (2)
  • Vinny M.

Food was gross... I've been to the one in San Diego, CA which was way better than the stuff at this location and leads me to believe the poor quality has more to do with this particular location. The food was VERY oily and really salty (especially anything that was breaded tasted particularly salty). Also, our waiter who happened to also be the bartender was never to be seen. Waited 45 minutes after eating just to get the check and another 20 minutes for him to ring us up. Never coming back again.

    (1)
  • Rocio C.

Nicole was tons of fun! She took awesome care of us and had a very fun personality! Loved our bibs.. Loved our drinks...loved the music..loved the food..loved our experience here. From our initial check-in with the host to the bartender to our server Nicole:) When added to the wait list the host takes your number and texts you when a table is available. Try the hurricane bowl which is a drink for 2! Biggest bank for your buck!

Randi waited on me in the bar area and was amazing. She said her coworker behind the bar was also taking care of the station, but he never came out to help her at all. She was managing all of the tables and did an amazing job. I was not very hungry, but had to have something to go with the delicious and strong $2.00 Hurricane (it was the Tuesday special!) I got 18 steamed shrimp and a side of corn on the cob. Just about right, but I asked Randi for one of those biscuits I had seen pass by and she hooked me up with one right out of the oven! Yum... made up for the slightly overcooked shrimp. The whole waitstaff seemed to be enjoying the evening, which is a sign of good management. All in all, food was what I expected in a chain... but the Service was Stellar!

    (4)
  • Carole S.

Not bad for a chain, but the food was very salty. We had to return one of the orders due to the high salt and it was cold.

    (3)
  • G B.

We came for lunch. We had the garlic crabs and fries. There was plenty of food. Our server Britney was excellent!

    (4)
  • Todd A.

I've been to this location several times. Amanda was our server on this visit. Their classic steampot for two is a filling meal with a nice assortment of food. Plan to get your hands dirty, but that's all part of the fun! The music can be too loud at times, which takes away from the ability to have a conversation. therefore, I would not recommend this for first date or a place to have a meal over an important discussion. However, If you're looking for a lively environment, than Joe's hits the mark!

    (4)
  • AJ M.

Food was substandard. Not what I expected. Service started out good then went down hill. Waiter/bartender never came back to the table, had to flag down someone in order to get the bill.

    (2)
  • Andrew A.

Cold and under done fries. Shrimp dry as sawdust. I guess Joe's Crab Shack doesn't serve fresh seafood. You should avoid this place. Your kids could play in the playground here as long as you don't mind the urine smell.

  • Jim B.

This location I have been going to for over 10 years and I must say they have improved greatly. The cleanliness of the restaruant has improved 10 fold and the quality of food is much much better. The servers are attentive and always around when you need them. They still put on a great show when it is time for them to dance. My daugther had her birthday and they did a great job embarrasing her. What ever you are doing here keep it up.

  • TJ M.

Typical chain that offers bulk seafood that is not fresh, over sauced entrees and gimmicky dining.

Great food, great service and great atmosphere. Darrius was an excellent waiter/bartender. Very friendly.

If you are looking for amazing high end seafood, keep driving. If fact, since you are on HWY 192 you'll need to really keep driving as this is the heart of the tourist district near Disney World. However if you are tired from smiling all day thanks to every Disney PhotoPass photographer you came across, meeting too many damn characters and pulling out your wallet one too many times for the kids in the gift shops, this is a worthy stop for dinner. The beer is cold, the food is really surprisingly very good, the atmosphere is very laid back and there is even a play area for the kids so you can send them off while finishing that pitcher. We were on our way back to the condo and unable to come to a family decision as to where we should eat (or if we should cook) decided to pull in here. Yes, it would have been an hour later with no one able to make up their mind so made the executive decision to stop here. It was shortly after 6 and we were seated on the patio immediately. Did the steamed crab pot for two with Old Bay seasoning and it was great. The crab, the corn, the sausage, the potatoes - all of it. The dessert seemed to be premade and presliced on the tail end of its shelf life in the refrigerator but by that point probably shouldn't have ordered it anyways. Our server was really friendly and took great care of us. If we had ran out of other places to visit, would have been back here without hesitation.

Before this visit, I had dined at Joe's a couple times a few years ago. I did not like it at all. The food was not fresh, rather frozen, even the fresh steamed vegetables were frozen and salty. I swear to stay away from this joint. So when I visited FL, good friend's family invited me to dinner to their favorite restaurant. I was not excited, but I had to go along with the plan. It would be rude not to because I thought the restaurant was lousy. I was shock at the improvement. The seafood tasted much better, and the steamed vegetables were fresh and not salty. I was impressed at the drastic improvement in quality. I am happy to return to Joe's.

Omg. No. This place was a disaster, please stay away. We go to our local Joe's Crab Shack frequently and the food and service was substandard in comparison. Our waiter was nice, but service was painstakingly slow. It was a Sunday night and the place was empty save for 5 other parties, while I saw at least 3 servers working. Why the slow service, I have no clue. It took an hour for our food (3 steam pots and a child's macaroni and cheese plate) to arrive. It was like pulling teeth getting my husband's drink orders from the bar, too. We had a direct view of the bar and our waiter couldn't put our order in because the bartender wasn't there most of the time!!! We were starving by the time our food showed up. Cracking crab open isn't as fun when your stomach is turning itself inside out from extreme hunger. The steam pots were over seasoned and salty as heck, but we still scarfed the food down. We were too hungry at that point and scared it would take even longer to send anything back to the kitchen. I'd say we were there for at least 2, if not more hours! I didn't even have time to talk to the manager because we had to hightail it back to Disney before they closed. The only saving grace was the balloon artist working there. He was fun and entertained our girls and seriously, his work was amazing.

  • Ryan N.

A very enjoyable experience with great food! If there is a long wait, try the bar area as they have open seating. We sat here and bypassed an hour plus wait out front. If you're looking for a fun drink, try the shark bite! It's hilarious and you get a free take home plastic shark to always remember your experience. I got the surf and turf hamburger, which was really good! Very filling and great fries. Our server was also really nice and attentive to our needs. Will definitely be going back!

  • Lynne H.

This is a fun restaurant, although the food is pretty run of the mill. The best part of our experience was our waiter, Adrian. Once I told him I had a shellfish allergy he was extremely informative. I never thought about the possibility of ordering a fish I can eat, but might have been cooked on a grill where shrimp had been cooked.

    (3)
  • Cindy S.

Food was overly salty to the point where 2 in our group couldn't even eat their meals. The food was mediocre at best and rather pricey. The crab cakes were about $19 and seemed to be mainly filler and prepared spicy. WE will not be returning again.

    (1)
  • Jack B.

It was alright, plain and simple. When we arrived the hostess had us wait white she went to fetch a towel to wipe down an already bussed table. The table was sticky the entire time we ate. Service was slow and unorganized at first but then picked up. We got the shrimp bucket appetizer and I thought the shrimp tasted different than other shrimp I have had. Tasted less fresh and more bland. I then got the battered jumbo shrimp which I was unimpressed with also. My family came starving, so you would think the food would be great because we were starving so much. Still alright. Wonder how it would be if we weren't starving.

    (3)
  • Jack O.

They dance! A few times during the meal. It's really annoying. They brought me a dirty plate. The quality of the crab and lobster was poor.

    (2)
  • Garet S.

The food was very good but could have been better. I had the shrimp appetizer which was very good. The service was average although the table had to be wiped down when we arrived. Then I had the steak which was good but nothing special. Overall it was a good experience though.

    (4)
  • Ravi S.

The service was barely noticeable. Our waitress was in hiding from who knows what. I'm a fan of Joes, but this franchise appears to have been left to the dogs. The food was cold and unappealing, and the restaurant had a distinctive smell of rubbish.

  • D S.

Sorry Joe... Just don't like eating here. It's loud, overpriced and a little too peppy for me. It annoys me when, instead of waiting on me, the waitstaff is singing and dancing. Food is adequate, ice tea is freshly brewed and good. Decent variety on the kid's menu. Only good thing about this place is the decent playground. We ordered: a steam pot that came with a crab leg cluster, clams, corn on the cob, shrimp and potatoes. This was decent and used a liberal amount of Old Bay Seasoning. Kids steam pot: came with a crab leg cluster, 3 shrimp, 1 potato, and half a cob of corn. No seasoning was used, at all. Ick. Kids enjoy a little "spice" too Joe. Crab Nachos: large plate of chips layered with a gloppy creamy crab goo (not a fan), cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo and black beans. Wish they'd put as much energy into the menu items as they do the singing/dancing!

Great joint...for a corporate chain seafood place. The food was really tasty and the service was friendly and quick.

    (4)
  • Loubna B.

Meh... The service was good. The chowder was good. The crab cakes were good. The thing that they are known for however, the steamer pots, look waaaaay better in the photos. In reality, all the seafood comes out in one disposable mesh bag, and no matter what type shelfish you're eating...from lobster to clams, it all tastes the same. It's tought to describe the theme...It's somewhat reminiscent of the old TGIFridays "eclectic hodgepodge on the walls" except instead of antiques and curios they've tacked up old dirty broken pool toys and brick-a-brack. And it's not just themed dirt mind you, it's really for real authentic dirt and grime! Anywho... If you're at a garage sale...and staring at the stuff in the box marked "FREE" makes you hungry...this is the place for you.

Much better than gatlinburg site great staff and food

  • Stephen O.

SO disappointed. I had such great expectations for Joe's Crab Shack. The service was below average, the dancing was awkward to even watch, the glasses weren't stocked, the portions were undersized, the restaurant wasn't big enough to accommodate the number of tourists that wish to dine there ... man. I'm hoping other locations are just so much better. This just didn't cut it. 1 star.

    (1)
  • Vanessa P.

Great atmosphere. I ordered Joe's Classic steam pot $24 (old bay seasoning) which came with Dungeness crab, Snow crab, boiled shrimp(5) and (1)smoked sausage corn on the cob and 3 small potatoes. my husband ordered the Crab daddy feast $29. (garlic herb) came with Snow crab, Dungeness crab and King crab, corn on the cob and 3 small potatoes. for the price i expected more food. He left hungry. ok to come once in awhile. the staff will start singing and dancing to corny songs. entertaining.

  • Debra L.

A real disaster. Shrimp so dry it was inedible. Brought out orders 45 minutes apart. Seafood with tons of filler. Steer clear of this place!

  • Arynn I.

This is about the 3rd or 4th time I've eaten at this particular Joe's. I just ate here on the 7th and unfortunately had to get in and out real quick. Thankfully it wasn't crowded for dinner yet so we were seated and ordered right away. I was trying to get going fast so I ordered the Snow Crab steampot with the fiery new flavoring. It tasted great but the snow crab doesn't have enough meat. Suck it up and get the King crab portion. Usually will be enough to get you full. Service was quick and manager stopped by to say hello. They always swing by each table to make sure your dining experience is going well. I like that. Sometimes they will even give you discount cards or gift cards. I will eat here over other Joe's location because the atmosphere is nice, not too claustrophobic, very open and everyone is so friendly. Yum yum, I like crab. (and I hadn't eaten crab until Joes about 3 years ago.) P.S. We prefer the King Crab steampot, Old Bay Style

Horrible experience when I went with my family. Madelaine was our server and she was awful (speaking as a server myself). We had 5 kids and all their food came out with ours an hour and a half after sitting down (they all ordered Mac ANd cheese and we requested theirs come out first). After most of our meals came, three adults and 1 kid was still meal-less. The manager came in then and helped to try get our meals out. Our waiter avoided our table like the plague once she knew the food was taking a while. Even after most of had our food she came over to see how it was but then quickly left once she saw we were still without food. She didn't care about the situation at all. The manager comped some of the late meals but not even all of them. The one thing that was good was the food. (Minus the chicken salad which is NOT how it's described in the menu). It's sad because my uncle went here once and said how amazing the service and food was and his meal ended coming out last, close to the two hour mark of us being here. Conclusion - don't waste your night.

  • K C.

Food preparation and delivery time is slow. Fortunately the food is brought tot the table hot. Very family oriented. The manager went to tables to check on guests. One of the salads at our table was not prepared properly and the specific lettuce "ran out." Our server Troy was very polite.

Ok, we had a large group (29,30?) but we called in 7-10 hours ahead. Two hours before we saw appetizers, nothing for the kids for two and a half. The food was terrible, two people sent it back, and even the kids were complaining. There are other Joe's Crab Shack locations around here, try another one.

  • Trea C.

Went here and got a one of the steam pots that has crabs and lobster in it. It was delicious and the service was decent. Its just slightly more expensive than I think it should be considering I could of went to Boston Lobster Feast and got more seafood for about the same price. The only thing I did not like it the staff trying to do coordinated singing and dancing while everyone is eating. It was super corny and just stupid... That time could of been better spent tending to tables. The type of dancing and stuff they were doing just didnt match the atmosphere to me and if it were not for that I probably would of given it a higher rating. Call me picky, but I dont appreciate some waiter shaking his ass next to my lobster.

Buckets of Crabs and Great Drinks- felt like a kid again as I devoured everything with messy hands. Id say a bit pricey but gotta remember that its in the middle of a tourist hot spot. Went there twice in our week in the area since we liked it so much.

Ok the four stars is for the food. My server was great. Ready for the big BUT????? Don't ask me to Dance before I give my order I'm HUNGRY!!!! I expected a little crazy because I've Eaten at Joe's before. Overall I had a great experience.

This is a fun restaurant! The servers are friendly and helpful. Yes, it's a touristy place. Yes, I was a tourist when we visited (Hate to say that, says the NYCer!). Love the menu - the food is much better than you'd expect. The Shark Bite drink is yummy and fun. :D (And you get to keep the shark!) The other alcoholic drinks are kickass too.

We went here two nights in a row. Both nights had great meals. We didn't try the bucket of crabs or lobsters. They looked great when they went to other tables, and we will try them sometime. We had a bucket of shrimp for an appetizer. For dinner we tried the crab meat Caesar, the Pontchartrain Snapper and the shrimp dinners. All the food was excellent. Cons: very noisy, limited beer choices, a little expensive. I highly recommend going. I think under different circumstances, we would have tried the buckets of crab.

  • Frank L.

The only reason I come here is because my kids like the outdoor playground, and sing alongs. Very touristy and busy, food is adequate at best. Not worth the wait. We only try to go during the winter.

(This Review is from a visit on 3/14/12. I keep notes for reviews I do on my business page on FB) After a visit to Disney Village, where we did not want to wait almost two hours to eat in their seafood restaurant, we went in search of Crab to make Keri happy. We ended up at Joe's Crab Shack ( joescrabshack.com ) in Celebration, FL, part of a chain of beach - themed seafood casual dining restaurants. The restaurant was very reminiscent of a beach restaurant on Antigua, Miller's by the Sea, that Carol and I have been to a couple of times. We arrived at 9:30 and they were cleaning off some tables to accommodate the guests waiting. The staff was doing a nice job at cleaning up as the style of food left a pretty big mess. I checked the restrooms and they were also well kept. We were greeted by a hostess, a host and a manager. We went to the bar to order a round of drinks, and by the time we were served, our table was ready. The Bartenders were very helpful in the drink selections - Keri and I had Margaritas and Carol went with a Chardonnay. Carol and Keri went ahead to the table as I settled up the bar tab. At the table we were greeted by our server Adrian after a short wait. He helped with a few questions and said he would be right back. When he came back we asked some more questions, commented on his Yankee hat (he was actually from the Bronx and moved down to Florida) and placed an appetizer order of some crispy Calamari. Adrian seemed knowledgeable, but a little vague when asked questions. I am not sure if he was tentative about giving specific recommendations or if he was just a little unfocused. We started with an order of Calamari and some salads. The appetizers came out fairly quickly. The calamari was very good, but the salads left a little to be desired. They were very small and skimpy. For our meals we all ordered Steam Pots. These are steamer pots with crab legs and other seafood, potatoes, Andoulle sausage and seasoning based on which style you order. I went with the Rajun Cajun and Carol and Keri chose the Steam Pot and the Old Bay Pot respectively. It took a little longer for the entrees than I would have expected - about 25 minutes after the appetizers. Only two of the entrees came out and the food runner thought that was all we ordered even though there were three of us sitting at the table. When the third entree came out we could not start eating the crab as there were no utensils for opening the shells or pulling out the meat. We flagged down a server and they had someone bring the utensils. We also had to ask for drawn butter and more drinks when the server came back to check on the meal, and we were more than half way done at that point. We also had to ask for water which once again another server brought over. Since Keri's birthday was coming up, I had asked the host to arrange for the staff to do their birthday song which they took care of after the meal. The Steam Pots were good. The seasonings really set the tone of the flavor. The value was good especially as if we waited the two hours in Disney, we would have paid more than twice as much for the same style of meals. Overall the experience was good, but disappointing in the "experience" for an area that really needs to stand out to attract the local business away from the competition. Once again we noticed our server more focused on closing side work than the guests seated in the restaurant. The lack of focus really caused the rating to drop. i'd come here again. lost a star bc my pot didnt get sausage. i tried the KJ and the Diablo, and the scallops in the KJ was delicious! It sucks how the portion is so damn small. I was super hungry after and still ordered seasoned veggies and broccoli. I think they cooked the broc in butter. no bread or anything, but it was good. i wouldn't order the sides though because they are super small. the crabs are really good, snow crabs are sweet. i like how they bib you up and everything. the atmosphere is nice and pretty cool. they had this guy coming around making balloon animals..i think you just tip and thats it. i can't wait to get back to California to go to the joe's crab shack there. oh yea, the price is expensive because of the portion, but the food is good.

Waited a long time for a table the crab is way too salt. But the manager was great!

I actually miss this place. Even though their crawfish comes from China and not New Orleans. Love the selection of buckets of seafood, you an even create your own. I don't recommend the one with the lobster though since, it's will just a couple of pieces and the rest are potatoes. Very good place if they have more places like this around NY or Jersey.

Horrible in the fullest sense of the word. Absolutely not worth waiting for, stopping in, or honestly even slowing the car when driving by.

The manager was very nice and helpful when I had a problem with my food. I think her name was Mila.

Simply the worst experience ever! The restaurant was out of many items which I didn't understand, our crab legs had water just running out of them! The lobster was over cooked. The one of us that ate steak was quite ill the next day. I missed the dancing and fun...I know Joe's quit doing that but it is still loud only without the fun. Everyone of us had a complaint and the server simply said, "We don't get many regulars so, it's always like this" couldn't believe we spent so much money on such terrible food!

This is a Great seafood place.Had so much fun today visiting there, food, staff and ambience is COLORFUL ANd fun. They are so family friendly but 3 miles to Disney, heavy on tourists of course must be.They can take your picture and offer you souvenirs if this annoys you be warned, I like to see myself with a huge bucket of crabs but some people are not fun like that and curmegedly in their personality. If so, STAY home!Leave da crabs, peace and love for me!Located in Celebration on 192 every tourist who drives by dreams of buckets of crabs.... or at least a cold drink in a fun bright place, and they shall receive! The food is very well priced for a seafood chain.well portioned, and the place is just dang fun, did I mention buckets of crabs? .Ballon animals, waiters who will bend over backwards for you, dancing staff to fun family lively songs, colorful environemen outdoor PLAYGROUND, huge buckets of crabs, non seafood items, managers that check on you and offer great service from hostess to servers and just downright fun good time for a chain.Drinks are fun, bloody shark attacks anyone? there is a outside deck, playground, small tables, bar, booths, outdoor seating. I like the crab dip, steamed shrimp ,dungeness crab, crab nachos, soups, hush puppies, fried seafood platters, and on and on.Everything on the menu is deliciious and Disney style great fun tourist environement. The manager wont let you leave unhappy like some places and wait staff is fabuously pleasant professional and just a great place to kick down some crabs and drinks! Yay for Joes.Tie dye and crabs for all!

Our party of 6 was seated fairly quickly on a busy evening. Two of us had the specialty crab pots which were about $35 each for King Crab. Fairly pricey for the atmosphere provided. Although our service was good, the other four of our dinners were lackluster and also overpriced. Not a place I will visit again.

Not the best seafood in town by far. But the ambiance and staff makes it a fun place to visit and have a family outing. Kids will love the loud and exciting atmosphere.

If you're a seafood fan then I definitely recommend stopping here. The service was great. It was my stepmother's 60th birthday and they were absolutely awesome - the balloon guy even made her an ultra stellar alien hat and the servers sang to her. Add to that the yummy food and you can consider this a success! I had the blackened tilapia which had a super fresh salsa on top that really hit it out of the park and my bf had the classic steampot. We all left very happy, satisfied campers.

Ok.great place to go to distract the kids. Playground, balloon man ( amazing Iron Man and Cap America). But it's a chain. Server was nice but slowwww. 10 minutes to greet 30 for my beer. He was slammed, but?? Food is what I would expect from a red lobster type chain. Ok...a bit $$$ for what the offer. Kids meals were priced right $5.39-$5.99

So we visited Orlando on a family vacation, and gave Joe's a try. When we arrived there were plenty of open seats on the open air deck, however we were told we would't be able to sit out there because they might have a party comming in for those tables....BUT they don't take reservations. It was rather chilly inside, outside was warmer. Enough of that...menu is extensive with pots of everything from clams to almost every possible shellfish available. There are pastas, salads, all filled with seafood, but also steaks and chicken dishes. We had the steamer pots, mine was the old bay seasoned with snow crab clusters and clams, accompanied by a link of polish sausage, and ear of roasted corn, and boiled red potatoes. Others had the king crab pot, and snow crab pots. The food was great...until the temperature in the restaurant cooled it off. The service was my only compliant and that is why my rating was only a three ***. My server was less than desirable. He just seemed lazy and not the most enthused to be there. Our food came out in waves so some ate while others waited. And then the whole not being able to sit on the deck as requested. Another positive was the BALLOON artist William (aka Awesome). He was very talanted and had a sense of humor that kept us all laughing the entire time he was at our table making a Princess castle, Rudolph (complete with nose), and a Rose for the Grandma. All on all it was a decient meal, but I would think twice about spending that kind of money for this.

Meh. Really, just meh. The fries tasted like poop, dipped in poop, then fried in poop. The fish (I got fish in chips) was adequate. Not recommended, unless you really like their chain. They were quite friendly, however.

I've been to oh, let's say, 1000 Joe's Crab Shacks in my pursuit of finding the best. Well, for now, we have a winner. The restaurant was scheduled to close (as per the door) at 10pm when we went in at 930. It was packed, and we were told it would be about a 20 minute wait. Any other restaurant would have totally told us to eff off. Not Joe's. We were seated within 15 minutes. The food was fabulous. Our server was obviously tired, but that didn't keep her from responding to our requests (although we tried not to be too annoying as it was late). Basically, they will do anything to make the customer happy, and I love that!

We visited Joe's twice in a week. Good food, very reasonable prices and excellent service. After being stung at Downtown Disney's T-Rex one night this was a welcome relief. Wait staff break into song and dance ever 20 mins or so which is great entertainment for all (adults & kids alike). Make sure you tip the balloon guys ...

My favorite food is crab so it was a no-brainer where we were gong to eat last night since we had left the park (WDW that is). We had the stream-pot ... lots of crab, some shrimp, corn and potatoes. We had a pitcher of margaritas (basically 4 glasses for about $19). Our server was very eager ... it was his first night on the floor by himself and he did an excellent job. The floor show was entertaining, especially when the kids go involved. Who knows we may go back during our two-week stay in the area.

ate here yesterday with 5, including 2 kids, I've eaten at this chain before in Naples and really enjoyed it, was disappointed withe the numerous negative reviews, but went anyway, we went to the new one on the 192, and it was superb. the staff were great, and yes they do cheesy dancing and yes it was cringe worthy, but it wouldn't make me give a negative review. the food was exquisite, now were from the UK, so we don't get to do this type of food regularly, and if we did it would probably cost 3-4 times what we paid, so we can honestly say the food was excellent and value for money excellent. well done Joes we will be back next time were in Orlando, or anywhere else in the states. The Gray family.

Decided to stop in here for a quick bite since I've never really visited any Joe's near me up north. As I was looking at the menu I realized that this place is better when you really want to pig out on some seafood. They have a wide variety of seafood combos that come in giant steam pots sure to be enough for multiple people at once. I ordered the crab cake sliders and onion strings. The crab was well seasoned and fresh but the onion strings were too greasy and forgettable. My only regret about the sliders is that the crab "cake" easily fell apart leaving my crab looking like drabs of fallen tuna bits all over my plate. The service was good at the bar, the waiters break into song/dance (Cotton Eye Joe) every so often which is cool at first but if it happens more than once while you're there I'm sure it can get repetitive. All in all it was a good place but probably better suited when you're ready to have a big lunch with a group of people and along 192 there's probably not a lot of places you should go for fresh seafood other than Joe's.
