Greated warmly by the hostess, the waitress Shawna L. We let them know that we have never been here and they were very informative as to the background of the restaurant. They gave personal experiences with the food and were overall warm. I ordered the beef and mushrooms and my friend ordered the homestead. Both were amazing. We will be back!!

Why the place has 5 stars is beyond my understanding. I was in town visiting family and stopped in for dinner because I had a breakfast food craving. We walked in around 5:00 pm and they were not very busy. It took us a few minutes to be seated, lots of empty tables that hadn't been cleaned or cleared of plates. Our waitress brought out our drinks and took our order. While waiting on my food I went to the ladies room to wash my hands, the floors were extremely sticky and even after I exited the restroom my shoes were still sticking to the floor. My dad also noticed this about the men's room floor as well. When this was mentioned to the store manager as we left, she argued that she had just been in the restroom earlier and it was fine, but she would check it out. Back to the food. The food was mediocre at best and my bacon was very tough. I had the egg, bacon, and biscuit breakfast and my dad ordered a couple of appetizers and wasn't impressed either. We were never checked in on, however in passing the waitress said she would refill my dad's drink because it was empty. About 30 minutes later she had still not refilled his drink and we were done eating and ready to leave. As we asked for the check she brought the drink, my dad told her thanks but we were done and wanted the check. She then slams the check on the table and walks away. Upon looking at the bill we noticed she gave us a check for another table, the manager was informed and promptly gave us the correct bill, we paid and left. It was clear they could have used more staffing, however they were not busy and will a little effort could have provided better service. We did not return to this restaurant again while in town and would not recommend it. Go to Breakfast Station if your hungry for breakfast, great food and great service. I will not likely visit any Bob Evan's in the future, this restaurant gave a really bad impression on the standards of the chains quality and service.

Bob Evans is a famous name. I've known him to be the sausage link guy. I visited for breakfast while visiting the Brooksville area. Customer Service very typical of the south. The layout reminded me of Denny's with a country setting. The menu features an extensive plethora of fresh omlettes, crepes, pancake, egg and waffle platters. I went with friends and everyone ordered something different. Bob's praises them self on local fresh produce. I opted for the farmers omlette. Fresh spinach, portabella mushrooms, cheddar, tomatoes and scallion. Delicious. Served with toast or biscuits and hash browns. The hash browns were fresh roasted potatoes. Kids eat for $2.99 and the breakfast is served with fruit, eggs, pancakes and a choice of meat. This was more cost effective than Ihop. Healthier also. The prices here are great. I will be back.

People are beyond friendly! That is the absolute best part. They made our rolls fresh. We started off with two appetizers, the twisted cheese sticks, and the onion petals. Not very much but for the price they are worth it. They were fresh and delicious. May I add that the berry tea was right on point? I ordered the country fried steak with the potato soup and rolls both were very hot and good. My party ordered the crispy chicken club. The bacon was definitely not fresh but the sandwich and fries were above what we expected for the price. My other party had the potato encrusted flounder and it was exceptional! For dessert we had the caramel and fudge sundae. There was an up charge for the fudge, which was a little disappointing because it was so small. When we got the bill it was under 50$! What an amazing price for such an awesome meal and such friendly staff. You can bet that I'll be back.

Very helpful service. All meals are freshly made yet quick to get to your table. I like breakfast the best but lunch and dinner are devious too. Try the pot roast and chicken fried steak. I haven't had a bad breakfast so try them all!

Great place for breakfast. Love all the in house baked goods and country feel. Can be busy on the mornings on the weekends. I went for diner there too and had the pot roast diner which was also good. Typical chain restaurant though. Service was good.

Food was fresh and delicious! I had the Farm Fresh Burger w/ Broccoli and Mac & Cheese and a cup of their Chicken Noodle Soup. The burger was absolutely mouth watering! The service was excellent as well!

The first thing I noticed is that it's EXACTLY like Perkins. Our food was delicious and waiter was excellent. I'm glad I didn't have the older lady as a waitress because she had a terrible attitude towards her fellow employees but other than that it was an overall good experience.

Excellent dinner. The pot roast was awesome, tasted home made. I also loved the cheddar bacon soup and banana nut bread. Our waitress moved us to better seating without us even asking. I will be back.

New place , great food! Large portions as always, hot, tasty, and great! I had the pot roast hash, scrambled eggs, home fries , and 2 biscuits! Wife had spinach omelet and she liked it! Prices were standard as all chains! Seated fast and served quickly.
