It has been one of the most delicious foods I've ever tried, it was my first time eating Amish food and I loved it! So I hope you come visit it because it's spectacular!! The buffet is really good and their potato cake is amazing and the deserts are the best!!!

We came for breakfast and they really only had the buffet which was not good. They have a menu but it's the same items on the buffet which were just not appealing.

While vacationing in the area, my wife and I decided to stop at this interesting looking place. The service was ok, good - not tremendous or anything. The building is a really cool looking place. It wasn't very crowded, but it WAS the middle of the afternoon. I ordered meat loaf with mashed potatoes. The potatoes were kind of like soup, a little too thin for my liking, but they tasted pretty good. The meat loaf was pretty lousy. It was mostly bready, not much meat...and the flavor was pretty bland. YUCK. For dessert I had coconut cream pie. That saved the day. It was wonderful. This place is a great place for pies.....take my word for it. Avoid the cooked food and just stay with the pies. If you do, you'll give it 5 stars !!!!

Stopped here while visiting Bradenton. Paid $14.99 for Sunday buffet plus $2 plus for tea or soda. I was really disappointed with the food. To me, it wasn't even the quality of Golden Corral. Nice people and good service, but left feeling ripped off paying over $80 dollars with tip for 4 people eating very subpar food.

I was so excited to try this place out and boy was I DISAPPOINTED! We had a great waitress. The salad bar was good, the chili was okay, but pretty much all of the hot food was GROSS. I guess it just wasn't my taste, but no one in our group was thrilled with the food. The pie wasn't good either. I liked the set up and I know this is a popular place, but it didn't do anything for me. I've never seen "salisbury steak" like this. It was like meatballs in white slime. The meatloaf had NO flavor. The shrimp tasted old and fishy. It was just not good.

Great for pies and breads not much else Buffets are small and your standard fare. Being form northeastern Ohio this isn't even close to Amish foods. Good service. Prices are a bit high for buffet for what they offer. Salad bar not bad tho.

This is about as Amish as Lady Gaga. Worst breakfast buffet We have ever had. stale biscuits, runny grits, soupy gravy and bitter coffee. How hard is it to cook a decent breakfast? Geez if McDonald's can do it you would think these people could. I felt ripped off with a $24 bill including tip. Only people we saw in kitchen were Latino, NOT Amish. If you want great Amish food go to Der Dutchman or Yoders in Sarasota. Your stomach will thank you

I made a visit today and sadly it's still not the greatest. Now from what was told by a former employee that the pies are not really homemade like they claim. I had a pie and my dad had a pie and it was clearly not homemade and taste was awful. Buffet was is very limited and not much to choose from.

This restaurant has gone downhill over the past years. When I moved here in 1996, it was amazing, but apparently it fell upon hard times and has let this show thru the quality of its food. I don't know exactly what they did, but it's just not good any more. Even the pies have suffered. Their peanut butter pie used to be the bomb, but now it should be called vanilla pudding pie with pb sprinkles. The other pies just don't live up either. It's really sad. The waitresses used to dress in Amish wear which gave it a more Amish ambiance, and they wouldn't dream of being open on Sunday. A lot of people thought it was under new management when all these changes took place, but, alas, not even that saved it. We won't be back.

Stopped in while on vacation. I was not impressed. $12.99 for a buffet the set up wasn't big at all. Food didn't remind me of amish food it all looked right from.freezer and heated up or fried. Had the cream of broccoli soup which had NO florets it was all stems.

It's all about the pies my friends...A vast array of homemade pie awaits your taste buds. The peanut butter pie is so creamy and peanut buttery i convulsed with cosmic euphoria. It's a true gift from the pie gods, it's all you can eat pie, people!

We decided to stop here because my hubby forgot his lunch today and was chewing my arm off...so, for me, it was really a matter of self-preservation. The place is nice and clean. Our server was very efficient and friendly. The buffet was better than a typical buffet but not as good as the real deal Amish Smorgasbords we've eaten at in places like Lancaster, PA. Just to address the fact that some have said the mashed potatoes are fake/boxed...uhhh, no-they definitely are not. The pie alone is worth the trip. So it's good if your husband is hungry and you would rather have pie than go to the ER. ;)

Only gave it 1 star because 0 wasn't a choice. Awful, awful, awful. Soggy, stale food.

Meh pretty well describes it. Miller's is a cute Dutch themed restaurant in Bradenton. Service is friendly and quick. The food, whether from the buffet or the menu is ok. Lots of canned veggies and instant potatoes. The one highlight was the fried chicken. Tasty, moist with great skin. The chicken and dumplings were in a bright yellow sauce. Kind of scary actually. The food wasn't bad, just not great. I'd put it on par with Golden Corral but with much less variety. It will do in a pinch...

Two stars because the service and staff are wonderful. The food is bad. Soggy vegetables and dry cake. :(

Happy freaking Thanksgiving. Best damn pumpkin pie on the face of this earth. And I would know because not only is pumpkin my favorite flavor bu pumpkin pie is my favorite dessert. I love that despite the fact that Millers made around 3500 pies for all the sweet. old people in Bradenton, the two pies we got were still beyond amazing and perfect. They were super thick but cooked to absolute perfection regardless. And contrary to the fact that I dont typically like plain pie crust (versus graham cracker pie crust), theirs is out f this world. Light and fluffy and not too plain! And the whipped cream they give you (if you ask) for the top is the best whipped cream Ive ever had. I usually hate whipped cream because most restaurants are LAZY and use Redi-Whip but this whip is homemade, super sweet and excellent for eating just with a spoon. Whats even better about their pies is I believe they serve all varieties, yearround at some time or another...so theres always a great chance that you will pop in and get yourself a big ole bite of punkin pie!

If there was an Amish, sorry Dutch, country in the World Showcase at Epcot, it would be like this restaurant. There is a counter at the front entrance with pies, candies, and other sweets- also a separate gift shop with dust catchers. The large dining room seats a ton of people and during lunch it is fairly crowded. When seated you can view the Dutch home display in the balcony and the quilt assortment mounted around the rafters. The food here is fairly bland and most of the vegetables are straight out of a can. I actually think that the food at Cracker Barrel has a lot more flavor for a cheaper price, but to each their own. All of the food at Miller's ranges from $10.00-15.00, which I think is at least $4.00 more than it should be. I have had the Country Fried Steak ($9.95), Fish Special ($11.95), and the Fried Chicken (8.95)- all were nothing spectacular nor anything I would ever crave. The side dishes were mostly instant, like the mashed potatoes. They do not have Mac & Cheese... Why anyone would pay $8.95 for their medicre salad bar is beyond me. Go to Ruby Tuesday for an excellent, flavorful, and actually healthy salad bar for only $7.75 max. Weird! Like I said before, this place it totally Disney; where you pay Disney prices to eat bland Disney food.

This is one of those places you hear about from co-workers that say you gotta try it. Well, we tried it, and it turns out to be one of those Florida type places where bland over-cooked food catering to seniors is the reason it is popular. People who favor quanity over quality, bland over flavorful. The regular menu was uninspiring so I got the all you can eat salad bar. Honestly, I see better ingredients used in the pre-made salads at Racetrak (gas station). It was all bland and over processed and fresh out of a bag or can. Iceberg lettuce. The pies are rumored to be good, but they were just average, too. I've bought better pies at Publix. The restaurant is a cavern, huge, with a train running through it that would probably entertain the kiddies. The restaurant got a new sign for out front, one of those programmable flashing signs and they've certainly gone to town figuring out every flashing exploding graphic the sign is capable of producing...FRESH PEACH PIE!!!!!! says the sign to all who are driving by. I just don't get the whole Amish fascination in Florida-- the food isn't good, it is just plentiful. So what? Really, if you are going to go out and pay for a meal, I'd like the opportunity to experience something a little daring, or tasty, or unusual, or inspiring, or maybe just a plate that makes it obvious the person preparing it cares and isn't a refugee from a middle school cafeteria service position.

This place is wayyy overrated. I could make this food at home with a box of instant potatoes and some canned vegetables. I really don't understand how this place got any good reviews. I gave it two stars because the service was good, and the place was clean. Horrible food!
