Came here after hearing all good things in a Facebook group we belong to. We were not disappointed. The decor is casual pizzeria decor, but nicely done. The food is the star of the show though. The Garlic Knots... oh the Garlic Knots. Betcha can't eat just 20 (they are that good). My wife had the lasagna and it was excellent and served piping hot as pasta should be. I had the fettuccine alfredo. I'm a cream sauce snob. I've eaten all over Italy and this was close to the best I've had States side. The pasta was al dente, spot on. Check them out if you're in the mood for some good casual Italian. You won't be disappointed.

2 hour wait for a large pizza and salad ...... unacceptable! Too many other places to order pizza from.

Ferraro's is not my favorite pizza place in Bradenton. But, since it is convenient, fast, and close to everything (it is downtown)--- you will find me frequently ordering a Ferraro's large pepperoni with pesto to go. It is not cheap with tip just for takeout, the total is often twenty bucks. The parking lot and meth heads camping on park benches across the street are frightening. I honestly do not eat here after dark to avoid that drama. There are a few micro-breweries with bards in the area now, so hopefully the traffic will help clean up the situation. Or, make it worse. My main obsession is their pesto topping. Many places don't offer such a topping. I would be happy to dine in and order more, but I am not a fan of their salads, pasta, or garlic rolls. If they had more to offer, then my butt would be parked in a chair in their dining area once a week. It would be nice to see them step their game up eventually. At the same time, I am happy to see them stick with their pizza, since it is what they do best.

Been there 3 times for lunch or dinner. Food has always been great. Service was always good. Stromboli is fantastic. The cheesesteak used a homemade roll but was great too. I have become a regular now.

Although, this place has good wings & decent pizza, I probably will not return. If I do I'll pay cash only and definitely won't go with the expectation of receiving great service. Today, I called in an order to pick up and when I arrived two of the workers (a cook & server) were outside smoking then came right in behind me. When I got to the register another server walked up grabbed a piece of paper and began to write something without even saying "Hello". Then the smoking server walks up to the register without acknowledging me and just starts a conversation with the 1st server who ignored me. I was in total disbelief! Finally after the smoking server finished chatting it up with the other rude one she asks "Can I help you?" Apparently, the credit card machine wasn't "accepting" my bank card so I offered to use another. But guess what? When I got home I noticed that I was charge twice a deduction from each card. I called and asked to speak with a manager and was given attitude (I literally heard the girl tell the manager "some lady on the phone said she was charged twice"). Anyway, the manager Rob called me back with some mumbo jumbo about the the charge being a hold and it'll be reversed in about 3 days and to call back if it's not. I continue to get low-class service from this place and it's annoying.

I eat lunch there 3 or 4 times each month. Lunch specials are a great deal. Sal makes great pizza, stromboli, and other dishes. The servers are always attentive and friendly. I expect to keep coming back.

That's Italian! Real up north pizza not from a chain. I just like cheese pizza and I am not fussy. Gets the job done.

I was expecting fabulous and felt it was just okay. I would get it 10 times out of 10 over any chain pizza place. I will keep searching for great pizza. I got a sausage and spinach pizza. The sausage was in small crumble form. The spinach was good but not enough of it. The chees was good and no need for extra. The sauce was bland. When I think jersey or NY style I think large but thin crust slices. The crust was thicker than expected. I would not try it again.

Very good pizza and friendly service. An eclectic menu of Italian offerings but we almost always get the pizza. Oh and the fresh garlic knots.

I'm very very picky about my pizzas and haven't really found a great pizza place. However, in Bradenton, this is the best pizza around. I refuses to eat pizza that uses tomato sauce from the can because I get a sort of sore throat/dry mouth the whole evening and the next day, but I don't get it here. I also love that they have eggplant here. I always order the Ferrero's Special's and replace the peppers for eggplants. It's the best!

Whether you eat in or take out this place is great. Good specials, good service and great food. We've had apps, salads, pizza, sandwiches and pasta there and all if its great. Transplants from Jersey know how to do it right!

It's very difficult for my husband and I to find pizza we like in Bradenton. Why? We've had it in Brooklyn. And in our opinion, that is the best. So we keep trying various restaurants who claim they have NY style pizza. Previous reviews prompted us to try Ferraro's. PROS -- We had a large pie with onion and mushrooms -- half pepperoni/half sausage. It was thin and didn't collapse when you picked it up for a bite. When you folded it in half, you could hear a slight snap to the crust. The sauce was a bit thin but very tasty. All in all, it was the second best pizza I've had in Bradenton. It's the first best pizza in Bradenton if you factor in the affordability of it (but we really don't). We also had an order of garlic knots that were very good also - a little doughy in the middle which I think is a good thing. CONS -- It makes me nervous when a server does not write down my order. I just know they're going to forget something. We ordered garlic knots and the pizza. She forgot the garlic knots. Said she didn't... but she did. My husband had to give her 'the look' and then called her over. She said they were coming - but then she went back and started preparing them. I know that fresh mozzerella would up the cost of the pizza but I'm ok with that. Maybe we could have the option?? If fresh mozz was used -- OMG -- this would probably surpass or be equal to our #1 pizza in Bradenton (Gio's). Bottom line -- can't wait to go back. I'll say that maybe I'll try something else, but, I know I won't. It'll be pizza for me again!! Hopefully it will make it - SUPPORT OUR LOCAL BUSINESSES!

Great Pizza. The sauce is the best, the crust perfect. Whenever I am in this area this is where I go. They are just great people.

We order from Ferraros on a regular basis and have generally been pleased with the food and the delivery service. However, on occasion, delivery has been very late. Tonight we ordered what will probably be our last meal from them. It arrived 1 hour and 20 minutes after placing the order online (our normal order method) AND after 2 phone calls to the restaurant to check the status. The wings (ordered "hot") were dried out as if they had been in the fryer for the entire hour and 20 minutes and the sauce was on the side --- not a big deal but it was really cold, which immediately cooled the overcooked wings. It's a shame, as their food is really fairly good, but the unreliable delivery and occasional quality failures have lost us as customers.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century.
