High Blood Pressure at Applebee's

Most of the foods served at Applebee's restaurants are high in sodium. Unless you are visiting the restaurant or dining here in the group, there are hardly any options from the main meals if you wish to keep your blood pressure in check. You can rely on a few salad options though. If lucky, you may find low-sodium ribs as well at the restaurant.

Avoid Green Goddess Wedge at Applebee's. Broccoli Cheese Soup and French Onion Soup contain over 1000mg sodium and hence must be skipped as well. This particular restaurant was very busy. But we were seated in 2 minutes. Are server kyle was excellent. Very fast service and great food. There s'mores and churros were good. There sweet potato fries and dip were good but very interesting dip choices for the fry's. But for a typical restaurant chain. They were overall good and great service.

The food portions weren't great. The chips and salsa platter was a total waste of money. Manager never touched the table. Inconvenient server stations. Disappointed in this location. Probably new management. Haven't been here in years.

This restuarant typifies the taste buds of most of America...and it makes me sad.

I've never walked out of a restaurant before without ordering food, but that's exactly what I just did. Sat down at the bar on a moderately busy to normal Monday night. Took 5 minutes to place a drink order. Another 5 to get the drink. And then another 2 minutes to get the menu. Another guy sat down just after I got my drink and his order was taken almost immediately. Meanwhile I sitting there with my menu closed infront of me, waiting for this atrocious bartender to take my food order. Wish I would have gotten her name but oh well. If you're in there and there's a big boned, blonde haired lady behind the bar, get a table instead. I ended up just paying for my beer and leaving hungry, good thing Outback Steakhouse is across the street.

This used to be our go-to restaurant but the last 2 times we've gone, we left dissatisfied. The potato twisters get soggier with grease each time. This last time I went with my son. We both ordered a chicken dish to see which was better. He got blackened chicken with shrimp. I got the napa chicken with portobello, which should be called napa chicken with onion as it was smothered in the onions so badly I could not see the chicken. Other than the amount of onions on our plates (I had way more) we might as well have ordered the same thing. It was definitely not worth the inflated cost. My husband completely refuses to eat there now due to the new menu with higher prices since the location was renovated. The last time he went with me, we left before placing our order. Now we go to outback across the street for steaks or chilis down the street for casual dining.

Review ALL of the Applebee's locations! At least it seems like it lately. Not too much to say with this one, had a to-go order. It was filled promptly and the food was good.

We aren't here a lot but it is generally consistent and service has always been good. The servers don't appear quite as classy as in the past but such is today's culture. We love the French onion soup and tried the pretzels with be cheese dip tonight. Not a bad choice.

This Applebee's is on par with most of the chain. Good food at moderate prices. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is uplifting and fun. The bar has nice drink deals and has a good crowd at night. Don't expect prime cut steaks but you get a very nice steak for the money.

I usually like this Applebee's....great service and really fast....today they brought me a salad....I didn't order a salad...as I looked around they were serving lunches to the wrong tables all around so maybe they had some new servers today.....still love the place.

Cant beat half off appetizers while sitting at the bar before 4. I really liked the wonton tacos and the quesadillas. The pub pretzels were also delicious. I probably wouldn't order any of the entrees because of the great deal on the apps :p

Good as far as American fare goes. My favorites are the chili lime steak with the veggies and potatoes, and the chicken won-ton tacos. They've really gotten it together here at this location. They have some fun events going on here, and they also have a jukebox so you can play your selection of tunes.

Even more below average than a normal Applebee's. I stopped in late after a long an delayed travel day. I interacted with 5 different waitresses, 1 was nice the other 4 acted like I was bothering me or that I should be grateful they were even talking to me. To top everything off no silverware in my to go bag, always an awesome surprise when I finally walk back to the hotel to enjoy a meal I have been waiting 4 hours for. This place is a skip for sure based on staff alone

First time at any Applebee's. Loud, crowded and rushed. Food was OK-to-good, nothing spectacular. Major complaint is that the waitress wanted us OUT! And we weren't there all that long. I felt like I was in a mess hall. I may go to another Applebee's but not this one.

I admit I love cheap eats and Applebee's does a great job with cheao eats, especially in this area. I stopped in on a Thursday night about 8. It's definitely a louder Applebee's than you would expect, but they had a game show going on which was fun to play. The food, we get a 2 for $20 - I get a 7oz. Sirloin, my wife gets the same, we split mozzarella sticks. Realize that this is not Bern's Steakhouse or anything like that, but the steak was great ffor the value. Our waitress was attentive to us keeping our drinks filled when needed. We even had the manager make sure our meals were fine. We got out of there paying only about $27 after taxes and tip and did well in the Game Show or trivia night. Whatever you want to call it. It was fun!

I agree with the rest of the reviewers. We had a new one pop up near us a few years back and I thought we'd give it a try - ya never know, you might get lucky an dget a good place - nah! Applebees is Applebees. Service slow, hostess rude, manager inept (he was fired already too!) Several of our last visits we were seated right away - I always ask for a close table because my wife is disabled and last time I got rolling eyes from the hostess. We sat there for no less than 15 minutes for anyone even came over to get out drink order and that was only because the manager came over to ask how things were. Food is 'ok' - nothing special really. They all of these new Tyler Florence-inspired meals but they don't inspire me. The one good thing they added to the menu were Sweet potato fries, and then they removed them after a few months. The only way we go now, is if we get a giftcard from someone and even then, I'd rather regift it to someone else. *AVOID this place if you can*

Dined here July 1st, long day traveling from Boston and were hungry by late dinner time. This restaurant is large and was busy but our wait was only 10 minutes. I had a southwestern chicken dish with rice and crunchy taco strips..forget the name of the dish, but it was good. My husband had the steak and mashed potatoes...the steak was tough and not so good. He only ate half of it and I think it is because he was so hungry. But, as far as appetizers go (half price after 10 pm), the artichoke and spinach dip was great and the boneless buffalo chicken was great. Service was excellent..they were so kind and quick.

I love this particular applebee's. I used to go to this one every Tuesday night for karaoke for well over a year with my good friend Danielle. If you are into partying, this specific applebee's is for you because they are always doing beer pong and karaoke and stuff. Plus the staff is amazing! I got to know so many of the wait staff that I know most of them by name.

They must've read these reviews and changed for the better because we have had only great sevice and drinks at reasonable prices. YES there is a young crowd here - hallelujah! I'm in my 50s but am so glad to see that. The atmosphere is fresh and friendly. It's become a sweet neighborhood joint. Go there!

This Applebee's in particular has become more of a young bar-scene/hangout than a restaurant. It is packed every night of the week and there is always something going on (i.e. karaoke, beer pong, etc.) I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a comfortable, quiet dining experience with an attentive waitstaff, BUT it is an awesome place to go for all day 2-4-1 and throwing back a few beers after work with friends. Appetizers are half price after 10pm.
