Cute little place with very nice staff. They get very busy, so service can be a little slow. More importantly, their pizza is great.
Good Pizza, reasonable prices! We only had the pizza, the servers are very nice! We would return and try other dishes. Lots of family's here, but quite a few couples too.
We had the Greek salad- fresh and a generous serving we split it. We also split an excellent pizza. It is rare to get eggplant properly prepared especially as a pizza topping. The beer selection needs a little work but the house Syrah was good. They do allow smoking on the deck and 3 loud idiots from Chicago decided to sit next to us and smoke and one repeated his "scary" "near death experience" w a minor mechanical out of San Juan 6 times in a loud voice. Otherwise a great casual Italian restaurant.

Such a great spot in downtown Boca Grande. The lobster nacho's are out of this world awesome; Jai Alia on draft and happy hour specials -- must check this spot out!!!!! Great fresh and local vibe with a chef that can cater to any taste.
We're in Boca Grande a lot, having a beach house here, so we've been on the roller coaster ride of Third St Cafe. We've had great meals here and some not good at all. It seems to have changed ownership/chefs multiple times in the last several years. We came last night with some trepidation, having read some recent poor reviews. Whew! "It's back"! In fact last night was the first night of a new menu under Chef Larry. Our waitress, Jodi, had him come out to talk to us- he candidly addressed the poor reviews, which he had read too- and told us about some of the many changes he was making. The food lived up to his promises. To start I had a wonderful beet salad and my husband had the heirloom tomato salad- then I had the ricotta spinach ravioli in a sage browned butter sauce and my husband had the diver scallop entree- which thankfully is back on the menu. Also back is their sticky toffee pudding, a crowd favorite- now with a gingerbread twist. I hope Chef Larry sticks around because we'll be back!
Stopped by for brunch over the weekend and it was excellent. I had the 3rd Street Benedict (poached eggs, chorizo, chipotle hollandaise, and cornbread) and it was very good. There was no wait (on a Saturday around 12:30p) and we sat outside on the patio, which is really quaint and relaxing. My only complaint is that they didn't have bloody mary's (they could make a non-alcoholic version with rice wine) or any other typical brunch cocktail drinks. But the food and service were very good, it was reasonibly priced, and we'd definitely go back!

OMG Walked in, looked around, walked out. The coffee better be pretty spectacular because all they have to eat are little tiny bakery items. Can they really afford the rent selling this?
Ducked in for some coffee and and some lunch. It was great, here's why: * The coffee was delish! * I had an oven roasted Turkey and Bacon sandwich. It was memorable. The turkey was moist and hand cut and thick. The bacon is honey baked, and actually baked. And thick. And awesome like only bacon can be. And the sandwich comes with Siracha sauce atop, so it had some heat. So I had a smile! * I tried a Morsel sampler and that was a home run, too! * My server "Willy" (female) was a knowledgeable pleasure, with a great energy! Excellent brand ambassador. For the uninitiated, a "Morsel" is a baked treat that is akin to a large, baked tear drop type of item somewhere between a cookie and a brownie. Just about the perfect amount. They come in 12 different flavors of YUM! I loved the experience and look forward to another visit to quaint and picturesque life on Boca Grande Island. Cabeza OUT!
Stopped by Morsels today for an Americano. While my coffee was sitting on the counter, one of the women working there pulled out a bottle of cleaning spray and started spraying all around my coffee. I left and then turned around and went back in and asked them to make me a new one without toxic cleaning chemicals. They obliged but, it never should have happened. It's a shame and disappointing they don't sell muffins, scones and other baked items as I would have spent more money but the selection was extremely limited.

PJs is located in downtown Boca Grande. I had the crab cake served on greens and they were delicious. Several in our arty ad the crab meat bisque and they were not thrilled with it. The Cuban sandwich was good and the tacos were good. Service was great!
Hadn't read reviews, so had no expectations. I had one of the night's specials, my wife had a half dinner, my son had had a grilled cheese sandwich and my nephew had a salad and fish fingers from the kid's menu...no alcohol...total bill was over $100. The sides with my dinner were not hot, and I agree with another review that the cheesy grits were not good, really no taste at all. I suspect much of what you are paying for is the ambience. If that is the case, make sure you get a reservation so they don't sit you upstairs. There is no ambience up there.
Have had the pleasure of being able to sit outside weather wise ! Everyone at the table enjoyed their lunch selections. My family especially enjoys their version of the cuban sandwich and my crab cake was a different version that what I've had in other restaurants. It was quite tasty and delish!

We sat at the Dockside section of eagle grill... Service: was great...very friendly, seated quickly, drinks came quickly....service was very good Food: we had the calamari for appetizer which was good and split the seafood platter (broiled). Overall the meal was good and enough food for 2 people to split. This is a great place to eat and right very good ambiance...I would eat here again
We ate here for lunch in June 2015. The atmosphere and the service were great. There were 3 in our group. One had the Neapolitan Salad. It was 3 fried green tomatoes with crab meat. Looked delicious. Another of our group said the black bean soup was good. I had a small salad and added shrimp for $8. It was delicious. However for $8 I only got 4 grilled shrimp. At $2 a piece, I felt they were a bit pricey. Some others in our group said that their fried grouper fingers are good and that the margarita even though it was $11 was delicious also. Great view looking at the boats.
The service was sub par. Waitress forgot the chicken on my salad and forgot to leave the olives out of it. Seemed like a simple request that clearly was too complicated to figure out. The dressing was extremely bland, must be all the elderly in the area. As far as the view, it was amazing. Great spot to sit and have lunch, just wish the menu had better options and a kitchen/staff that cared enough to make the order the correct way. Buss boys came over as one person in my party finished eating and stole their plate away with everyone else still eating. This was rude and made it seem like we were being rushed. I would never come back to this establishment.
