For a quick bite, this place satisfies. Just note that the quality isn't terribly stellar, and their smoothies tend to have some syrupy sugar (at least their strawberries were dripping in syrup) so I'm not sure how "healthy" they are for you. I always tend to order the cilantro lime wrap which satisfies my hunger for a while, and the price is right. They offer an entire board full of wraps and rice bowls that make for a quick and cheap lunch and the staff is always friendly. If looking for a quick lunch this is a great option!

I came here with a specific goal during my lunch break. Find a delicious and tasty smoothie alternative to the Juice & Java smoothies. Don't get me wrong, J&J's smoothies are a'iight. They're just a little bland and watery. I'm not smoothie expert, but I want a kick in my drink. Power Smoothies was just a few stores down from J&J in this pretty useful plaza. I ordered a Light & Luscious smoothie (strawberry, orange, and banana). They asked me to taste it before I bought it since they noted I was trying this place for the first time. It did the job - really rich in taste for how simple it was. I agree with the previous reviewer - they seem more slush-like than juicy or yogurty. The service was great and the place itself seemed like a cool place to hang out and get free WiFi. They also have wraps and chicken and rice bowls for about $7. I definitely plan on coming back and seeing how I like the place for lunch.

Quick bite needed? On the run? Or lacking time to grab lunch? Power Smoothie is the place to go. They serve up some of the most delicious and tummy fulfilling wraps in the area. They offer a great variety of choices in wraps. Most of them are packed with brown rice and depending on which wrap you choose, it may or may not have veggie fixins' in 'em. But all are well packed and definitely satisfying to the hungry man...or woman. Many of them are with diced chicken or tuna, and if you're not up for a wrap, you can request it on a bowl. The sauces that they make the wraps with are excellent! I have not had any that I did not like. Smoothie- Coconut Crazy is very smooth and simple. Coconut milk and two bananas. Oh and some ice... Good combo. Chipotle Chicken Wrap- Plentiful and warm. The wrap is packed with chicken and brown rice. Little bits of red onions and all the other condiments brings it to a well balance along with the chipotle sauce. Definitely a winner in my book! The staff is friendly and the service is quick. You're not going to be there longer than 10-15 minutes even if there is a line...

I love this place. Always look forward to coming here after the gym. The smoothies here are excellent (so far I've only had 2 - Mango Magic and Island Girl, only because they're so damn awesome and I keep reordering it). The wraps here are also ON POINT! That chipotle chicken brown rice wrap is awesome. Southwestern is also a great choice if you're looking for something with less carbs. 5 stars judging it for a basic smoothie and wrap shop. It being 5 min from my home is also a big plus. The staff are very friendly and nice, and the restaurant has always been clean as far as my experiences go. I also love the interesting pictures, collages, and prints on the walls. Always something interesting to look at when I'm waiting for my wrap and smoothie, which takes less than 5 min (wrap that is, smoothie prob 1 min) to make. The only issue is probably getting out of this plaza afterwards. The light at the exit changes quick so you'll most likely have to wait for a second light if there's a lot of cars. TLDR: I've been back here 6x already, and I would DEFINITELY recommend this place. If you're looking for a quick and healthy grab-and-go, this is the spot.

Im giving this place 4 stars because I have been here many times, and never had a bad experience. The service is good. The food is very tasty, and they have the best homemade curry sauce, that they feature on their "Curry No Worries" wrap. Just ask for it. They will put this sauce on any wrap, and/or give you some on the side They are always willing to accommodate me when I come with my kids. Splitting smoothies into multiple cups, custom wraps. They recently moved to opposite side of the complex, due to expansion of Chuck E. Cheese's, and I couldn't be happier because the restaurant is new, bigger and more easily accessible IMO. Good food. Good prices. Good Service. You can call ahead, if you are busy and they will have your food waiting for you when you get there. They have some interesting stuff on the walls here, so while you are waiting for your food, you can get a good laugh or see some interesting artwork, or even draw some of your own. Definitely worth a visit...

I came in here today because the other smoothie place across from it was closed. Turns out that this place has a wonderful staff, a great vibe and on the walls there's interesting wall posts/pictures. When it comes down to smoothies I am very picky. I like my smoothies all natural with no added whey or anything for a work out boost. I ordered a red Hawaiian smoothie that consist of pineapples, strawberries and bananas. It's a simple drink, but extremely delicious! I also ordered a simple chicken Caesar salad that generally comes in a wrap, but I ordered as a bowl. It would've been better with romaine lettuce, but it went well with my smoothie. Next time id like to try their veggie burger. Perfect smoothie place in the area for the thirsty smoothie loving hippies

I love Power Smoothie. I just hate that it's in "Aventorture". In homage to the beautiful, original art adorning the interior of this fine establishment, I am going to post my review in Japanese haiku form: Always friendly staff Smoothies are out of this world Try all of the wraps Seriously, most small businesses should take lessons from Power Smoothie on how to conduct themselves, especially when it comes to their customer service. Can you imagine the patience of the employees here? They are in the heart of Aventura and must put up with every type of douche imaginable on a daily basis. Not only that, there is a really awful meat-market-type-gym in the same complex that houses some of the most obnoxious Hummer-driving, Real Housewives of [add city here], Nickelback-listening, facelift-addicted people known to mankind. (I swear, it may not seem like it but I'm being realllllllly kind in my descriptions here!) Back to the point, the good folks at Power Smoothie are fantastic! The wraps and smoothies are just as good too. My favorite: Chicken Ceasar Wrap with a Chocolate Banana-Bo-Bana smoothie. They even load it with extra protein for a small price. Keep up the great job over in the Land of Plastic! PS: Please tip the good people working their butts off behind the counter! I never see the tip jar even 1/4 full. Shame!

As far as smoothie/healthy lunch food places go, I love Power Smoothie for everything Power Smoothie needs to be. How I miss you. I live out in Cali now so I can only enjoy your limey rice wrapped goodness when in town visiting the fam. Smoothie deliciousness smeared all over the place and even a nice selection of local art strewn about the walls. Sweet spot. Miss it. Easy big parking lot. Friendly helpful staff. Never crowded but consistently a light flow of people. Yum.

It must be magic! Although so many try, it's actually really difficult to get the ice/fruit/flavor ratio work to make the perfect smoothie...enter Power Smoothie! Sure it looks like nothing special from the outside, and while the inside is cozy, it too looks a bit run down. Good to grab something quick, but not necessarily somewhere you'd want to lounge for hours 9although they do offer free WiFi). That being said, they make the best smoothies that I've had anywhere. The strawberry daiquiri (which many eschew and try to force you to also have oranges or bananas with your strawberry) is heavenly. Not too much ice, and real strawberries where you actually get the crunch of seeds so you know you aren't just drinking a powder. Plus, for about $4.50, you get a pretty sizeable serving. You can choose a power boost for about a dollar more, but as with most places, it might not taste as good once you get the add-in. They also offer wraps and brown rice bowls if you'd like something to eat. Well worth stopping by if you're looking for a quick bite or refreshing smoothie!

Power Smoothie, You're not the best I've had but you're definitely not the worst either. That said, my loyalty lies with Jamba Juice (when it comes to taste) but nevertheless, I do love your location, service and the fact that you stand for health. The end, Robyn C.

I asked the guy behind the counter to suggest a good tasting smoothie without much sugar. He gave me very useful, well informed recommendations. I ended up getting the Peach Sensation and I liked it. I like the art they display here and their free Wi-Fi, classic and alternative rock records playing in the background, it just feels right. Thanks to a receptionist from Solea where we go for tanning, who recommended this place.

I've been eating at Power Smoothie since I'm 13 years old (over 12 years now). A bunch of my friends have worked there and displayed their art on their exhibition walls. The place has always been the cool spot to meet up, grab a mango magic smoothie, maybe a chicken teriyaki wrap (my personal favorite)... depends how crazy you want to get. They exhibit art and have good music playing - the vibe is all there and the brain-freezing smoothies I've tried are great (recommended - power smoothie and mango magic). Personally, I like the fresh fruit approach, but these are a good alternative. If you work in the area, it's perfect for a quick lunch. If not, there are many many many smoothie wrap places in your area... I'm sure. Andrea wuz here '98

I had a craving for a fresh fruit smoothie and found this place. The decor is a bit cliche but the staff is polite and the smoothie was delicious. I had the mango magic and it was refreshing and not too sweet. A heads up to the smoothie fanatics, I didnt see any smoothie on their menu that contained any veggies, strictly fruit or peanut butter. Less than $5 for something delicious in Aventura? Oh, you will see me again :)

I've been going to power Smoothie for a long time now and it is always a pleasant experience. They really understand how to treat a customer. On top of that, the food is great! The icing on the cake for me was that just the other day, they made a mistake with my order for the very FIRST time (coincidentally the first time I ever got my food to go). When I came back the next day after the gym and told them what happened, their response was "THEN WE OWE YOU A FREE MEAL". Just like that. No "Can I see your receipt?" No "I'm sorry. You should have come back yesterday." What nice, attentive people! Phenomenal. As long as they stay exactly the way they are, I will always be a loyal Power Smoothie customer.
