The reason why I give this place 4 stars is because of the innovative way to make their creamy ice cream. I can't lie the texture of this ice cream makes a huge difference from other ice creams. It makes up for the flavor which is nothing out of this world. Prepare yourself to stand!! They definitely need to invest in some chairs and tables for how busy this place gets!!

Best I ever had best I ever had... This place is amazing, the cream is creamy, the employees are nice. They have tables inside and out side. It's definitely the stop to go to after the beach or with the fam.

Best ice cream ever... They freeze the ice cream right in front of you... It's like homemade ice cream without all the effort and mess... I love it.. Very smooth.. I got strawberry with banana.. Yum Definitely worth the try and experience.. You can literally see them make nitrogen before your eyes...

I've been to the first location in Pinecrest and I wrote a review about it, so this review is going to reflect more on the location and experience at this franchise. This place is much bigger and it's easily seen on Biscayne Blvd in a busy plaza. Here, my honey and I shared the reaction: Bs + Bn + Ct + Cf (Biscotti + Banana + Captain Crunch + Chocolate Fudge). It was pretty darn yummy! It's safe to say that Biscotti and Red Velvet are my favorite base flavors for Chill'N! It's not far from Aventura Mall, so if you're at the mall and want a sweet treat, I strongly suggest to drop by here! Although I've been to the other location more, the Coldstone-meets-Chemistry vibe still never gets old!

Scientifically delicious! Their ice cream creations are similar to Cold Stone but better in my opinion. All of their ice cream flavors are also available in yogurt! Their flavors and toppings are creatively displayed in a Periodic Table of Elements format making the whole experience a little more interesting. The Nitrogen use simply creates the ice cream on the spot and keeps it from melting too fast. The nitrogen also makes a cool smoke display as it is being applied which is appropriate since that's when the magic is happening. I chose to indulge in a Nutella yogurt with Krispy Kreme and Cinnamon Toast Crunch mixed in. It was quite possibly the best frozen yogurt I have ever had. It also didn't melt instantly in the scorching Miami afternoon heat like every other frozen yogurt out there.

Ice cream was great...enjoyed watching it being made. The staff looked a Lil miserable.... maybe some of their ice cream could cheer them up!

  • Lauren R.

Amazing ice-cream. So creamy. The only thing if like would be to have the toppings mixed in gently and not minced in. I will definitely be back. Great service and there always seems to be a long line at the aventura location. Brilliant idea! Fun! And semi-entertaining. Not something you can say about many ice-cream parlors.

  • Jennifer P.

If you love creamy ice cream, this is the place to go! They mix in your toppings while making your ice cream. There are different flavors for the ice cream and toppings. A must try!

The man that worked behind the counter...I'm thinking he owns it since he works so dedicatedly. Watching him while waiting showed me how much care and meticulousness in making his crepes...WOW! You know he loves and genuinely cares about his work. He got a round of applause from the customers that were watching, including myself and kids. What a sweet treat!

Cravings of Ice Cream can make people do crazy things, so instead we decided to go to Chill-N Nitro. Walking in, we were greeted which is highly appreciated. The process in how it is made definitely makes the experience a lot more cool. But honestly, I enjoy Menchies-Build-your-own-frozen-yogurt better. Also, they got my order completely wrong. In the end, we had a Groupon and made it worth it to purchase but I don't think I would come here again.

This place is amazing many because everything taste so fresh. I like how you can get yogurt or ice cream. I thought they had a decent amount of favors probably around 20 and 20 different toppings. I tried the biscotti which was recommended by the staff. Prices are reasonale $4.55 for a huge small and $.50 to add a mix in or a topping. Defiantly check out this place!

Really excellent product but not quite enough choice in the flavored department. It's a fun emporium to visit with all the vapor and high tech design. Spacey for kids.

It's a fun place. Taste & quality reminds me of Cold Stone. I've had better nitrogen chilled ice cream before. Maybe b/c there was a line that they rushed in making it. The ice cream was soft & not as firm as I would like it. The brownie in the ice cream was still in one big chunk.

My boyfriend and I love this place. The ice cream is delicious and parking is really convenient. It's located next to a Anthony Coal fire pizza so it is perfect if you go there for dinner and walk over for some ice cream. I love how you get to watch how the ice cream is made and the portions are very Generous as well. I highly recommend it. If you love ice cream, you will be impressed with the quality.

YOU. Did you want ice cream?! Are you going to Coldstone or Dairy Queen?? STOP IT RIGHT THERE. Chill-N Nitrogen Ice Cream is where you really want to go. The ice cream is absolutely perfect. It tastes like real cream - the cream is pourred in a bowl and chilled with nitrogen gas before adding your desired toppings. It looks and tastes like real ice cream! The texture is perfect, and it remains frozen even in the hot Miami Summer weather. They have a wide array of flavors and toppings, and you may choose either regular ice cream or frozen yogurt, so customers may satisfy most kinds of sweet tooth. Finally, the overall service is quick and simple - the wait for the ice cream is short, and it takes about a minute to mix, chill, and serve. My only disappointment is that it isn't possible to get "two scoops" of different flavors. All flavors are mixed into a single cream, so tasting two different flavors in ine cup is not possible. Overall, it's a fantastic experience. I believe that this is the future of ice cream, and I can't wait for further developments in the Nitrogen Ice Cream market. I am never going to Coldstone again,

The ice cream is some of the best. It's neat to see it made with nitrogen right in front of you!

The service sucked. They got my order wrong and gave it to someone else. They served my three year old last which could have gone terribly wrong. Seriously- someone needs to come here and clean up the service here because it just sucked so bad I almost demanded my money back and walked out. BUT THE ICE CREAM IS AMAZING. I am glad I did not leave in a huff. My kid is too young to be impressed by the nitrogen and I thought it was gimmicky, but this is some of the best ice cream I have ever had. The texture makes it really creamy. I had nutella icecream with banana and I seriously wanted another one when I was finished it was that insanely delicious. I was just so incensed by the service i could not believe it. It was that bad. They had a lot of people working there but it was confusing and the girl who took our order seemed like a bitchy zombie. She just did not care if she got our order wrong, and she did. Someone with the same name as me took my ice cream and no one checked if it was hers by asking her the flavor and she tasted it and then it took them forever to make mine again. About 10 people who were behind us on line were served ahead of us. Our kid was getting ready to have a fit when they gave her her ice cream after an insanely long wait. IN SUM, amazing ice cream. Inexcusably bad service- maybe even some kind of logistical issue. Don't expect to get the right thing or get it quickly.

Wow! My boyfriend and I tried this for the first time last night and it was amazing! The location (although very small) has a fun vibe to it and there were lots of people hanging out there enjoying the atmosphere. With how busy it was last night I would suggest having one more person working on the mixing station so they can have 4 flavors going at a time. The process is a little slow but the final product is totally worth it which is why I am giving them a 5 star rating. I look forward to going here on date night again in the future! YUM!

I love this place. It's delicious !!!! I've tried numerous different mixes and the weirdest yet interesting one was the Krispy Kreme donut mixed in. I recommend this place. It is kind of pricey but it's a decent serving and the place is tiny with such limited seating but overall I like the service and the ice cream very much.

  • Lucy W.

The reviews are right! They're so creamy, flavorful & better than commercial ice-creams & diff from Cold Stone! Nutella & Red Velvet are yum! I wish it was closer bit hear a Ft Laud location is coming. Not that that's closer for me.

When looking online this place looked awesome. Walked in and the layout was a bit strange. The menu was pretty cool with the periodic table. It was unique and different. The staff was a bit odd the guy working there seemed nice but pretty out there, the lady working there was a bit rude didn't greet us just made our order. This was my first time here and nobody even wanted to explain the concept behind the ice cream. Felt like they could of been a bit more cheerful / friendly. When making my ice cream they both jumped and made me feel a little worried like something had gone wrong. something. They didn't even bother to explain what had happened leaving me to wonder what really happened and is this safe? But other than the staff and weird layout the ice cream was delicious and i would recommend try it out.

  • Christopher N.

What a great concept! This place has liquid nitrogen piped along the ceiling, which is poured into a liquid ice cream mix and blended. Love it! Cool concept, our friezes yogurt was delicious! Would have given them 5 stars but the staff was pretty unenthusiastic and the back wall had scuffs all along it from people putting their shoes on the wall while waiting. Other than those two issues, this place is top notch!

  • Michael P.

My manager has been going here since it opened and she loved it sooo much she would not stop talking about it and she even remembered the address! Since my other coworkers also loved it i decided to try it myself even though our fed ex delivery guy said it was "alright". So i ordered the large which was not large at all and it was about five dollars so that's only reason it did not get five stars, but the ice cream was something i have never had before. it was so dense and creamy. I had the biscotti and will be back to try the other flavors , plus the nitrogen machine thing is cool it looks like a bunch of chemistry nerds put together the place and it is a chill atmosphere, except for the 20 something 13 year old kids running in and out of the store.

We went to try this for dessert last night. Very fun to watch them make the ice cream and it tasted delicious!

This place is awesome!! I love the whole nerdy idea and as a bonus the ice cream was super creamy and delicious.

    (5)
  • Lizzy A.

This was awesome!!! I got the yogurt base with nutella, and got heath and banana as my mixins. It is so cool how it freezes right in front of you. The texture is not what you expect, it is so smooth and creamy!

    (5)
  • Daniel R.

Really good ice cream and awesome process. Its dencer than regular ice cream and can add mix ins and other ice cream flavors. Nuetella was good. Its better off getting a large for like 30 cents more.

  • Jill S.

I was really excited to try this place after all of the great reviews, only to be disappointed. The ice cream lacked flavor. The concept is cool, but I won't be returning.

    (2)
  • Sue R.

It was OK. Just OK. Perhaps my hopes were too high. I ordered butter pecan ice cream with caramel syrup on top. I don't know if it was perhaps the lady who was making the ice cream with her offhand, lackadaisical attitude, or the ice cream itself. I was expecting a really cold and creamy ice, this didn't really taste of butter pecan, it did have bits of pecan in it, but it tasted more of vanilla. And it had ice crystals in it, my teeth kept crunching on them. Sorry, but I'll stick to Cold Stone Creamery. Whatever, it was a hot day and it cooled me down a bit, but it disappointed me a bit, too.

  • Jelisa C.

Cute creative place. The ice was made in front of you so it's pretty cool. It was good and have many flavors and toppings you can add in for $. 69. Not expensive. I think a regular size was $4.59 and the large was $4.99

Love, me some Chill... make fresh and natural ice cream on the spot. Really amazing taste and flavor, enjoy.

    (5)
  • Kevin M.

I would give it 5 but it's far from where I live , however, the place is amazing; they have great flavored ice cream or yogurt ice cream good toppings, when they make it, it's so cool! Chuck Woodard & Danny Golik are very smart people creating this Chill N Nitrogen Ice Cream.

  • Daniela G.

Save yourself six dollars and go to Lulu's nitrogen ice cream on Biscayne Blvd. Chill-N tasted like sugar and cream...

  • Karen K.

Great ice cream but it takes so long. They messed up my friends order twice, he decided not to wait another 20 minutes for them to correct their mistakes. A bunch of kids working their have no customer service skills at all. They never apologized for the mistake never offer to make it up to him. Not a great way to run a business, having unskilled kids handling your business.

  • Maria G.

First off, let me start by saying that before ever tasting the delectable elixirs that Chill-N whips up, I thought once you tasted ice cream you'd tasted it all. Oh how wrong I was. I came here on a Friday night and it was pretty packed--no surprise there. On the wall when you first come in, you'll see Chill-N's Periodic Table of Flavors. The way it works is you choose a size, then one or two flavors as your ice cream base, and then as many mix-ins as you want. The ice cream base is then mixed up in one of their modified stand mixers and blasted with liquid nitrogen to create creamy perfection. The result is PURE HEAVEN IN YOUR MOUTH. Seriously. As for the service, there was only one cashier and a general lack of organization. There is also not that much seating inside. All in all, I would definitely recommend coming here, but only if you're in the mood for delicious ice cream!

  • C H.

Fantastic. My husband thinks this is the best ice cream ever, and I'd say it's number 2 (shout out to Graeters). It is so rich and creamy, and the fact that you can create your own flavors and watch them put it all together makes it an experience too.

    (5)
  • Ashley M.

I'm not an ice cream person, but the ice cream was delicious! It's a tiny hole in the wall place, and when we got there the line was long. The line went fast. The ice cream is creamy and full of amazing flavors. I highly recommend it.

    (5)
  • Mina G.

The ice cream just comes out so smooth. I love it with nuts and Oreos. The mixing gets just the right distribution of the fixin's. Life is just so good here. I live this place because you can't just buy it at publix.

Best ice cream in town. If u love the cold sweet creamy taste of ice cream come here enjoy your self.

    (5)
  • Stephanie M.

Probably the most creative place out there for this new concept in ice cream. I like the atmosphere and how nice their employees are. And the fact that the Ice cream is absolutely some of the best ice creams I've ever tasted, at least as far as the texture is concerned. Something you must try at least once in a lifetime. Nutella is my favorite!

    (5)
  • D D.

Cool concept. Ice cream is very creamy and flavors depend on your own creation. Doesn't feel as heavy as the ice cream from other places.

    (5)
  • Jeffrey F.

Let me get this straight, they make their ice cream and yogurt from scratch, mix it in front of you, then chill it was liquid nitrogen? What a combination. I really like this place and truth be told I like the frozen yogurt better than the ice cream. I find the ice cream too sweet although the creamy texture will likely appeal to many. The yogurt, however, is just the right creamy texture as well less sweet, but has all the flavor. I would recommend you try them both. I have tried several flavors here, so far my favorite is the biscotti. My son loves the Nutella , my wife also favors biscotti, and my daughter likes the strawberry.when you order you'll notice the difference between a small and a large is $.50, so it really isn't worth it to get the small. What is nice about this place is they will let you take a large and split it into two small containers which is perfect to share with my wife, and my kids can share one as well but still have their own. this place has a unique appeal to it and ice cream is simply phenomenal. It loses out of the store because the atmosphere is just so-so and there's not enough seating.

  • Leila P.

Probably the one of the best ice creams i have ever tried! super yummy! :)

    (4)
  • Betty N.

Cool idea but it's just not the best nitrogen ice cream. Maybe if I didn't have something to compare them to, I'd like it better. This doesn't seem like the case for most though. There was a steady stream of families coming in and out. Got the vanilla ice cream base and thought it was wayyyy too sweet. It was as smooth and creamy as promised though. It's definitely a novelty and probably worth a try, especially if you have kids.

    (3)
  • VR B.

Love it! The ice cream itself is... well it's ice cream lol. The concept is definitely cool, especially to go for the first time. If you're a nut lover you'll feel like you're in heaven with their Nutella ice cream and pecans, almonds, etc. Definitely nice for kids to go too. The customer service is great, they are especially caring and sensitive to customers like me with allergies.

  • Andrew G.

I used to go to cold stone a lot but this is wayyyy better. I'm glad there's one now in north Miami beach I don't have to go Pinecrest anymore. I always get the dulce de leche

  • Tom H.

Delicious Ice Cream and the set up there is nice and Unique. I ordered Cake Batter Ice Cream with no mix ins due to this being my first time trying nitrogen ice cream, I wanted to try it as pure as possible. The staff there was pleasant and friendly and price wise it was around $5 which I was happy with. Definitely Try it out for something a bit different than a regular ice cream shop

    (4)
  • Michelle B.

Awesome! It might just be the best ice cream I've ever had. I've been to farms in Maine where they make their own and this tops it! It really is so much smoother and creamier than regular ice cream. They won my business over Cold Stone any day, especially where they mix the toppings into the ice cream. I got sprinkles and my bf got Reeses mixed in and we were delighted to have our toppings in every bite :). It is also pretty cool to watch them make the ice cream in front of you. The place is very small, but we were taking the ice cream to go, so not an issue. Not business related, the people in the area (customers) are quite rude and let their millions of kids run every where. That would be the only thing to watch out for.

    (5)
  • Olivia K.

The concept of this ice cream place is entertaining and amazing. You pick the flavor of your ice cream and toppings you want. I believe it's in liquid form at first, and they put it in a silver dish under nitrogen. They make it in front of you and the nitrogen creates a smoke that makes it fun to watch. I was impressed with how they made it, but when I tasted it, it was nothing special. I only ate 10% of my cup, which they give you a huge serving. With one topping it's about $6 or $7 for the small size. They played hip hop music that I like, but I'm also 30, Which I felt was inappropriate for an ice cream place because u affiliate it with kids. It's definitely a place to try just for the experience, but not a place I would ever go if I was craving ice cream.

  • Brittney W.

Chill-N?? More like Chill-Mmmmmm! Huh? Am I right?!? So long Coldstone Creamery...you guys don't evem sing anymore when I leave a tip! The people at Chill-N don't sing but they do a great job explaining the treat making process. step 1: pick a base - ice cream or yogurt step 2: pick a flavor or two ranging from Nutella to Biscotti step 3: choose as many mix-ins as you'd like ($0.60 each) step 4: the base and flavors are poured into a mixer and blended until smooth. step 5: liquid nitrogen is added to the blend at a whopping -300 degrees and formed into creamy goodness. step 6: mix-ins are added to the goodness and the treat is ready to be enjoyed. don't you just love it when science and dessert come together?

    (5)
  • Jenn D.

I wish ice cream always tasted like this. You pick an ice cream base, ice cream flavor, and as many mix-ins as you'd like and they put it all together for you. They have all of the classic toppings like sprinkles and chocolate chips, but they also have some fun options like cinnamon toast crunch and Krispy cream donuts. It's a great place to stop any day of the week when you need a little pick-me-up

    (5)
  • Yami D.

I have been wanting to come here for a few weeks because a co worker kept raving about it. You design your own flavors which was great for us. My kids went crazy adding stuff. It was good, but personally I rather stick with pinkberry. My husband and kids liked it.
