For some reason, I just love their fish. Honestly, I hate fish any other time. But I always enjoy Long John Silver's fish and tartar sauce. Hush puppies are very tasty. My wife likes the cheese curds (sounds disgusting but they are really like cheese sticks). Been to this location several times over the years. This location has an A&W with it.

This place is great!! Authentic Latin cooking. Friendly family run. Loved it. Highly recommend it. You walk in through the kitchen where they are cooking. I love a great whole in the wall, this is definitely one of them!! Highly recommend this place. Very affordable and you won't leave hungry or disappointed.
Best Pollo Asado in long time. Good to try non chain business. The chicken was just perfectly cooked not dry and good seasoning, the 1/2 chicken comes with rice beans tortilla salsa and onions, big portion for the price. The place is just a home converted to restaurant so don't expect nothing fancy. But food is authentic and nothing better than a good charbroiled chicken.
A little intimidating at first because I'm not Hispanic and I felt like I was intruding for all of 3 seconds but everyone was super warm and inviting. The food was fantastic, I had a burrito, my daughters shared beans, my husband had a quesadilla. Everything was wonderful! No high chair but they said they've ordered them. Also, the tea isn't brewed which was a bummer for me, but not enough to take away a star. The chicken is a dream. Seriously. Get the chicken. The dining room wasn't very cool but I think that's because the door to the kitchen is often open which makes it smell AMAZING. Chicken is grilled over wood, yall, it's amazing. You need this in your life.

This place is wonderful! When it comes to pizza, my 100% New York Italian wife is VERY picky. I asked her where she wanted to go for lunch, and she didn't say a word. She drove us straight here! She was right! It was wonderful! This is our favorite pizza place in Florida! Do yourself a favor and check it out!
Good prices and Good food. One of the best places in town to eat.
Andy's is one of the few restaurants that been virtually unchanged for over 60 years. It's your familiar, meet your friends, eat good, everybody knows your name places. If you can't find what you want to eat there, you're just not hungry. You can order anything from soup and sandwich to a seafood dinner. The ice creams, floats, malts, and milk shakes are awesome! The problem they do have most nights is parking...just not enough for everyone that want to eat. Poppy and Manny, who owns Andy 's,, keeps things running smoothly or as smoothly as a restaurant can be! So if you are passing through, I would recommend stopping and at least have an ice cream.

Visited Sweet Magnolia Tea Room this week to celebrate a friends birthday. I ordered the Sweet Onion pie since it was the special & sounded interesting. I was not disappointed The crust was made out of Ritz crackers and butter then the onions & cheese made it all go together perfectly. I choose the Mediterranean Orzo salad as my side and it was tasty. My friend had the Magnolia on Main and said it was good. Both of us had the berry hibiscus iced tea and it was so good we got a glass to go. The scones & cream were really good. In honor of my friends birthday they gave her a little sample plate of desserts. None of them were anything special. The waitress was great and the chef even stopped at our table to see if we liked our food. It had been year since I'd eaten at Magnolia but I will return even if it's 20 miles away.
My wife and I went here for lunch and thourghly enjoyed it. The saff and the owner are all very sweet and friendly. Service was very good and the tea of the day, peach, was just right. I had The Tiffany which is chicken, brocccoli with almonds in a creamy sauce all on a puff pastery! The side was a corn casserole. I have to say that they were delicious to say the least. My wife had the Tilted Crepe with a broccoli salad. She said it was delicious as well. The protions are just right, not so large that you leave in pain but just enough to make you want more. I felt it was a bit pricey but well worth it! You will not be dissapointed if you go here. Wife and I will most certainly go back. A hidden treasure in little Auburndale!
What a darling tea room! We had the mushroom bisque and the afternoon tea!! They were both equally delicious. We especially loved the broccoli salad and homemade scones! I was surprised to see such a large menu. Ladies bring your men!! You will not be disappointed!!

Smokin’ Jim’s House of Barbecue

This is real barbecue, the way it should be! Fresh-cut wood used to fire all-day smoking of the best meats. We arrived right as they opened, and you could tell the work was already put in. Everything we had was amazing! Speed of service was insane, food was right up. It was a good thing too, because in no time the place was filling up. We could tell why, you want this food its so great. I had the ribs, my fiance had the pulled pork (add an extra slice of bread, now you have a pulled pork sandwich, and still more pork). The beans were great, the potato salad was awesome (mustard-based, I believe). Food so good, bathrooms are in a building out back. Clean and nice. Don't miss Jim's!
Not impressed. Heard great reviews locally, those people need to get out more. Will not return. I've had better BBQ at chain restaurants.
We were very impressed with the food! The portions were huge for the price, and the servers were great. The mac and cheese was not very fantastic, but that didn't stop my kiddos from inhaling it!

if your looking for a pizza simular to a chicago thin crust this is the best! you'll find in this area. ask for extra sauce though.
Love the Pizza! Best pizza in Florida. The only place we go when we want pizza. Not fancy, just delicious.
When I want good pizza I travel here. It's about 15 miles from SE Winter Haven but well worth the trip. Prices are reasonable and the pizza is great. I compare other pizza places to them and have not found a better pizza since moving here 10 years ago. always looking for a closer on but none can beat Pizza Connection.

Usually crowded in the mornings but the drive-thru moves at an acceptable pace. I really wish they had more salt bagels. They're always out of them before 9am. I also wish I could buy muffins without all that huge sugar sprinkled on top. I'd also like if they had sugar free hot chocolate, sugar free Chai Lattes, sugar free lemonade and sugar free iced tea with Splenda or Stevia.

With all the stars I saw on the reviews for this restaurant, I drove with my fiancé (out of our way to Ybor City) looking forward to some finger licking bbq. To our disappointment this was not our experience. The food was just ok. Beans straight from a can, food served with two pieces of white bread straight from the bag. Ribs and pork nothing to write home about. Not sure id frequent this restaurant if I even lived in this area. It was definitely not worth the drive.
I drove by this place the other day, and I knew I had to try it. It looked like my kind of BBQ restaurant. At 2pm on a Saturday the parking lot was packed! When I went inside, the smell of wood smoke hit my nose and I knew I was home. The inside was packed with people eating, even though there was no AC and it was 90 degrees. So I got in line to order some eats for dinner and got chopped pork, baked beans, coleslaw, and potato salad. To be honest I'm not really fond of the slaw or potato salad, but those are really personal preference anyway. No one makes it like mom, right? But the pork BBQ was on point! It didn't need any BBQ sauce, but the house sauce they included was very good too. I will be back to this joint. When I was waiting in line, I saw a guy throwing racks of ribs on a grill. Gonna have to get me some of those!
My first visit, I had the rib plate. Tangy red sauce with excellent sides. Spare ribs were well smoked and had some juice but not spiced. I will not hurry back. Serving staff is over booked but nice.
