We had been getting flyers about Papa Murphy's in the paper, and were very curious to try it out, but the price was a bit more than Pizza Hut. However about two weeks ago we got some coupons that made it comparable and so for the family's friday night movie, we ordered Gourmet Chicken Garlic and Gourmet Vegetarian in family size. It was $10 per pizza, thanks to the coupons and the size was just incredibly huge (4 adults and there was still some left over for breakfast the next day). The taste of the pizza was so good - you could tell that the cheese was fresh and all the toppings were of superior quality. I liked that they didn't skimp on the toppings either - it was generous and the taste took me straight back to NYC pizza. We've went back again last week as my family has decided that this, rather than Pizza Hut, is now going to be our to-go pizza place :) Oh, also - great customer service! Very friendly staff.

I didn't know you have to bake their pizza yourself. I was surprised when they handed me the unbaked pizza. I was like ''is this like make a bear?? That I'm gonna bake my own pizza over there, some kind of new pizza place strategy?" Lol but it was really crispy n yummy after I took it home and baked myself. I had pineapple n chicken toppings on thin crust.

It's a great concept and we've been here a few times, but I think the pizzas lack flavor. I'm just not into them anymore. I'd rather get delivery. Or Digiorno. Sorry, Murph. (Staff here is really nice though.)

I was really excited when I first drove by this location! My husband is from up north and had always talked about Papa Murphy's, but I had never had it before. I decided to pick up a pie to surprise him, and it surprised me! I like the idea of baking it at home for that fresh out of the oven taste. The have pretty good deals as well. Extra hint: grab their take n bake cheesy bread, its delicious!

Papa Murphy's is a small bake-at-home pizza chain. The store is bright and clean and the employees very cheerful and helpful. My pizzas were made in front of me; the process reminds me of a Subway chain with ingredients lined up behind glass in assembly line style (see photo). I got two pizzas: Herb Chicken Mediterranean deLITE ($10 large/$12 family) with a thin crust and the special, Combo Magnifico ($8 large/$10 family). They were both really good but the favorite was the Magnifico. It comes with red sauce, deli-style pepperoni, sausage, onions, mushroom, mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses but what made it for me was the herbed crust. I could eat the crust just by itself! The Herb Chicken comes with olive oil, garlic, mozzarella, spinach, grilled chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, Parmesan and herbs. It might take a little more effort to do the bake-at-home pizza thing but man, does it make the house smell wonderful! I thought it was cute that they also sell bake-at-home desserts. They have three- a cinnamon wheel, raw chocolate chip cookie dough and a s'more pie. We opted for the cinnamon wheel ($3). Bake this baby while you're enjoying your pizza then slather on the cream cheese icing when it's done- heaven! They also sell stuffed pizzas, thick crust and even calzones- all baked at home. One thing to keep in mind- they recommend baking only 1 pizza at a time so while we waited for our second pizza to cook the first got a little cold. Next time we'll just throw pizza #1 in the oven just before #2 comes out to heat it back up. The pizzas even come on their own baking "tray". We were told for a crispier crust just slide the tray off the last few minutes and finish cooking the pizza directly on the oven grate. Papa Murphy's is a fun alternative to your average pizza joint!

I love the Take and Bake idea! The ingredients are fresh and the staff is friendly. They always have coupons or deals available. Their deep dish is fantastic. If you're a carnivore like me, you must try the stuffed meat. It's like a meaty deep dish dream.

I can't speak for the pizza as I see no point in going to pick up a pie only to have to take it home and still cook it. I don't care for the business model. I can however speak to the fact that management at this location like to fire young girls for being "distractions" to the male employees. If my daughter was subject to these firing practices Papa Murphy's on Hunt Club would have a discrimination lawsuit on their hands. Thankfully it is not my daughter, however I will ensure these unfair practices receive the exposure it deserves. To anyone reading this review still contemplating giving Papa Murphy's your business, I would suggest going to Nino's on Edgewater. Excellent Pizza and they do this crazy thing that makes it convenient for customers, they cook their pizza.

Love their pizzas! I have had 3 different ones now - Taco Grande, Stuffed and Meat Lovers. My husband's favorite is the stuffed pizza but I love the Taco Grande! We both bit into the Taco pizza and our eyes lit up. It truly tasted like a taco and was so good!! I don't think I will ever buy another frozen pizza or chain restaurant pizza again as long as Papa Murphy's is around. Customer service was very friendly and helpful. Check for coupons. Great price for an exceptionally good pizza.

First off, this is a TAKE AND BAKE pizzeria. That means the pizza is RAW! You have to take it home and cook it. I used to eat Papa Murphys all the time when I lived in Minneapolis. I moved to Ohio and never found one and fortunately came across this location when I was going to another restaurant in the area a few days ago. Feeling nostalgic, I went in to get a classic Cowboy pizza but the display for the spicy fennel sausage won me over. 15 minutes after I got home I had devoured my half and was looking at my wife's piece like I was Gollum and she had the ring. Fantastic pizza! I really didn't realize how much I missed PM's until I tasted their pizzaey goodness once more. I won't make the mistake of missing out on it for years again.

Made to order while you watch then sent home with cooking instructions! I've only had this once and got the stuffed meat pizza, yum! Large pizza for $10 bucks, and GOOD PIZZA, I'll take it!! I do wish the crust had some flavor or garlic or was more buttery...it just needs something! Friendly staff tho, and having a coupon was great!

I was glad to see Papa Murphy's finally make it to Florida! I have family up North and they talk about Papa Murphy's all the time. It is a very good take and bake pizza place. They wrap the pizza on cardboard with plastic wrap and include baking instructions. Also, you can freeze them and keep them just like a frozen pizza (but much better than your grocery store frozen pizza). I am on their email list and they come out with coupons occasionally.
