Pat's suffers from the same problem that most chain restaurants do...they're just not that good at any one thing. Whether it be sit down or take out, I've been disappointed overall with each experience. When we first move to Smyrna, Pat's was one of the first places we tried and for some reason we keep giving them a chance thinking it's going to get better. The food is okay but inconsistent in temperature and flavor. The pizza crust had virtually no flavor to the point I find myself seasoning it in some way or just not eating it because it'd be a waste of calories to do so. The few entrees we've had tasted like parts of them were frozen and then reheated. When it comes to service, our sit down experiences have never been very good. We're often waiting for refills or having to ask for something that was forgotten from our order. Management walks around glaring at people like this is an upscale place. The decor may say so but the prices and food being served says otherwise. You're a pizza place, get over yourselves. We've gotten delivery twice now and both times the driver came over 15 minutes later than the latest time quoted. We had to call to see what was going on the second time because it was pushing 30 minutes. Nothing but "They should be there soon" was given by the person on the phone. An apology would have been nice. With a bunch of other better pizza places in Smyrna like Trevi Ristorante and Pizzeria DiMeo, there is little reason to visit Pat's.

Pats select in Smyrna, never had any bad experiences. The food is always great, and the atmosphere is great! Definitely top of my list for recommendations to friends while they're in town.

Food was very good. Drinks were pricey and our server was horrible. He never checked on us and the one time he came to our table when we were almost done I mentioned he forgot a condiment my guest ordered on the side and not only did he not apologize, he brought it out and literally half slid half threw it at her and walked away, still no apology! She didn't even need it by then anyway. A few more centimeters it would have been in her lap. The manager was very friendly and understanding and handled our complaint well but it just put a damper on a nice meal!

Wish I could say I had a good experience but not the case. Myself and my 12yr old son went to Pats last evening. Normally it's a seat yourself dining room. Yesterday the hostess made us wait then asked me do I want a table or booth. We said a booth because we didn't want to be in the middle of the restaurant. She said no booths available when learn 2 booths were available. 2 mins later a white family comes in and she doesn't even ask them she just puts them in the booth. I am not overly sensitive but principle is principle. We left and will never eat at Pats again. Too many other options to deal with bull

I have ordered here several times, and have also eaten in the restaurant. My dine in experience is far better than my take out. The quality of the food is good, but even with the high quality the prices are a bit steep. I ordered carrot cake on one of my take out orders and it was rancid i was very impressed they did seems the delivery driver to replace the cake. I enjoy their food but since they ate a bit pricy they are not ordered from as often as other places I frequent.

Wife and I ordered a large cheese steak stromboli and after waiting for a hour we received the stromboli basically burnt. The dough was extremely dark which took away from the flavor. We were very disappointed with it and for almost $20 it should have come to us with perfection.

Thanks to Pats Pizza, now I know how cardboard tastes. My pizza had five veggie toppings (tomato, onion, spinach etc). How this place survives with such awful pizza is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma (thank you, Winston). Deeply disappointed.

My husband and I ate there last night. We both had the Italian trio. We both liked the Lasagna the best. The cheese ravioli was very good and the chicken Parmesan was fair. We think it was a little too salty for our taste. The service was excellent and the prices are reasonable.

We went for Happy Hour. Free food and cheap beer, what more could you want? Well, a sweatshirt, actually. It was FREEZING.

The food at Pat's in Smyrna is decidedly mediocre, although the prices they charge might make you think you're getting a halfway decent sit-down meal. The decor in the restaurant is clean and fairly modern, and although I wouldn't go so far as to say it's like putting "lipstick on a pig," it could be argued that the au courant interior is out-of-sync with the plebeian quality of the food and service. In a burg like Smyrna, these guys stand a bit above the rest, but those who have dined elsewhere will find this place a ho-hum experience.

Overpriced menu for average to below average food. The best item on the menu is their Cheesy bread which is usually the only thing I order these days when I visit them. The prices you pay for their other menu items are far more than you should for the quality and taste you get. Their pizza is a cross between Dominoes and Pizza hut. It's commercial pizza that's super greasy with cheese all over it. They use a dough that for some reason taste like plywood. It's just too thick and too hard and has no taste to it. Other menu items like their hot wings which are not all that great also leave you feeling jipped. You pay far too much only to get a few unsatisfying wings that don't hit the spot. They do have decent subs from what I've experienced. Not good not great but decent. That is until I got food poisoning from ordering a Cheesesteak one day. Never again! It seems more like a place people frequent because it makes them feel like they are in some upscale (by Smyrna standards) Italian restaurant. The reality is this place is mediocre and couldn't hold a candle to eateries elsewhere.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
