Grotto pizza is the best and the nice thing about the Seaford location is a built-in sports bar! Don't get me wrong there is also a restaurant at this location as well. We love any Grotto pizza location for their pizza, but this particular Grotto location definitely deserves a top rating.

Ok, so this place was a total bust for me. I ordered at 12:30 a sub and it's 1 o'clock now and still no sub. I am not telling them to keep it because hell bin waiting 30 already. I don't understand why a Philly Sub would take so long. I am not from here and Grottos are everywhere, so I figured give them a shot. Bad shot it was. Got my food and how disappointed I am. If it wasn't they made me late to go back to work I would have told them to keep it. Plus it was an embarrassment of a sandwich for the price or any.

Let's be honest with ourselves. This pizza is average at best. It's honestly not good at all. Talk about the bar or anything else, but the quality of the PIZZA is piss poor.

I know Grottos and Delaware go together like ....well they go together. My friends and I stopped here on our way home to PA from North Carolina and we. were. hungry. I got the stromboli and it was filling. My friends got a meat lovers pizza and they seemed happy. Other than that, there was nothing here that makes me "need" to go back to Grottos.

The pasta dishes are good, but the pizza is surprisingly blah (surprising because that's how they made their name). Appetizers are nothing special, but the gelato is delicious. The service can be hit or miss, but most everyone is friendly and pleasant. If you want a decent-tasting, cheap meal, there are other alternatives.

Grotto's is best known for its pizza. They have been around for years, growing from one location in Rehoboth years ago, they now have nearly 20 locations throughout Delaware. Their pizza is a Delaware favorite, but I like the Verdi Bolli and the Veggie Pannini best.

For a long time, my employee has raved about Grotto Pizza. That's all he talked about for a couple of years. Finally, this past weekend, we had the opportunity and tried it. The pizza is so-so. I've had much better at real Italian pizzerias. Also, we and another couple thought it was way too noisy with a dozen or more TV's blaring. We didn't know this was a sports bar. Had we known, we would have gotten take-out. But at least we can say we tried it. We even brought another large pizza home for later. But it was a bit of a disappointment.

There is nothing quite like fresh Grotto pizza! If you've never had it, you owe it to yourself to take a trip to the mid-atlantic and try a slice. This location is right on 13, so not as busy as some of the others that are closer to the beach. Tuesday is 1/2 price pizza night!

terrible service, i had to ask for standard condiments 4 times and they still did not get it right. pizza- nothing special, salad - boring, packaged dressing. "famous beach fries" why? no seasoning. overall really disappointing
