Stopped in on way to Bethany with 3 kids. Very kid friendly. They ate all their food. That's a plus. Wait staff were nice and attentive. Good selection of craft beers. Blue Water BLT should be trademarked. Delicious.

Delicious- glad we found this spot hidden a bit out of sight if you don't know to look for it. Crab cakes are highly recommended! Service gets a 5 star rating as well!

Had dinner here, around 7 o'clock. It was busy, so we waited a few quick minutes until the server was finished taking an order at another table. That says a lot about this place -- the service is VERY attentive. We had seafood - Ocean City scallops, steamed shrimp, pan-seared snapper. It was all very good, fresh, cooked skillfully. I like that they offer many entrees in two sizes - petite and regular. If you don't want a huge plate order the petite. The food was seasoned, but not over salted - another plus. The $1 salad was good, the ginger dressing a little too creamy for me. If you put the word "ginger" in something it should have some kick! We ended the evening with the Heath Bar cake. It was excellent to share. Overall I liked this place, it's in an interesting little town off the Route 1 madness, the service is personal and the seafood had a good variety.

You would probably miss this one if you're not local. I and my daughter dined there recently while visiting a good friend of mine there. I was quite disappointed with the raging Cajun noddles I ordered; I think it is more like Alfredo than a Cajun. The sashimi salad my daughter had was quite small, and the source is too salty.

If you're looking for good food but don't care how your treated, eat here. I was directed to this place by the positive reviews on Yelp. We must have gotten the I don't give a crap staff today. A booth of 2 were the only ones here when we arrived for lunch close to 1:pm. App was a dozen steamed clams. They were very good, however, 3 were unopened, one was pryed open by my son and eaten, he doesn't know any better, thankfully, he didn't get sick. After telling our waitress about the clams, she didn't seem to care, and that's when I asked for her to consider taking something off the bill. She returned and said after speaking to the manager, there was nothing they could do. I had to hear this from him. Here was the introduction, "I'm the manager". He took $1.50 off because 9 of them were ok. Perfect math dude. We'll done. How about a simple apology, or an offer of a few more steamers from the jam packed kitchen cooking for 2 other people in the entire dining room? This is what we ate. Burger, ordered med well, came well with a piece chopped off by the cook to confirm it was well done. My 14 yr old didn't care, he said it was good. Kids pasta with marinara. Plate of naked dry ziti with a pile of sauce in the middle. Wife had the chicken sandwich that was very good, cooked correctly. I ordered the cuban (Guantanamo), they came back after about 15 minutes waiting To say they were out of pulled pork. So I had the turkey reuben. It was good. Our ticket time was over 30 minutes with two tables seated in the dining room.

The food came hot like I like it and of great value. The delicious flounder was broiled for me but I snuck a piece of my husband's flounder served fried as featured- yum yum. Rolls were good, too. Great service, very pleasant and attentive waiter.

Not very good. Food is completely average, booth seating is terribly uncomfortable. So as an experience it leaves a lot for desire. Service is fine but if the food stinks I don't need someone smiling at me

A true gem in Millsboro! The food here is easily as good or better than any place in Lewes or Rehoboth. Atmosphere is great. It is a small place so if going on Fri. or Sat. near peak hours, make a reservation.

Table seating was tight- they had larger booths for larger groups. Music was too loud. Food was bland but relatively good. Large selection of fresh fish prepared to your liking. Decent local beer selection, small wine selection. Our server was very professional.

Impromptu stop for dinner on the way home from the beach. Food was excellent! Waitress was very nice and bubbly. We got there at around 5. Dinner rolls were yummy. I had grouper for the first time. It was fresh and meaty. For desert we split the banana pound cake AMAZING!!! We may make this out normal spot after the beach

Absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious, great presentation. Our waitress was delightful and very informative regarding the specials and also gave us the price of each special. Very friendly warm atmosphere. The fried Oysters fantastic. Mixed drinks, great. This is a gem hidden in the town of Millsboro, DE We will repeat this restaurant.

We were greeted by a friendly face and we got a great booth. Our waitress greeted us promptly and introduced herself with a warm smile. She guided us through our order and the food arrived just as we expected and it tasted great! And the kids meals came with a large scoop of ice cream and optional chocolate syrup. This place is a find! We'll be back!

I've been to this restaurant a handful of times now, and it's a solid great restaurant! The food is delicious, the staff could not be friendlier, and the atmosphere is very nice but homey at the same time! The little town it's located in is adorable. Would recommend it to anybody in the area!

Our first visit to this restaurant. It is one of the best in the Millsboro area. The prices are very reasonable. They have dinner specials during the off-season.

Onion soup is superb. As is the fish and chips. Sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside , tender inside. However, the steamed shrimp were not deveined. Our sever appeared as disgusted as we were yet did not adjust the bill. Ambience, is quintessential, era period appropriate and acquiescent. Overheard bar patrons raving re oysters.

Apps ok, food ok. Liked atmosphere and staff was good. Was a little on high side. Would go back.

Food was solid portions were small. Fish & Chips, Blue cheese salad, wings and tuna sashimi is what we ordered. Kids got cheeseburger meals that were actually great size. Fish and chips were The freshest and tastiest I've had however the portion of fish was like 4oz. I'm fat and like to eat! Come on dont skimp on the fish. Sashimi was great although over cooked. Loved the sauces. Service was excellent, did not wait long at all.

Great place! Friendly service... Amanda was super. It is kid friendly. All our meals were great. My personal favorites were the ahi tuna appetizer and the risotto cakes. I could have had those with a soup or salad for dinner. But the southwestern grilled chicken salad was delicious and very filling. For a family of six late lunch/early dinner ran under $100 before tip. Very reasonable.

This restaurant is a local gem! The food is always fresh and delicious and the service is great! We dine here often and the wait staff always remember us and greet us with a smile. So unfortunate that they recently closed down due to an electrical fire. I hope the problem is resolved expeditiously and that they are back in business soon!

Wonderful meal. I enjoyed the atmosphere aa well. My husband had fresh fish which he liked, but didn't like the sauce in the side, he also said the salad and ranch dressings were very good. Our friend had a seafood pasta she enjoyed. My chicken was excellent, we will be back.

Food was excellent. Fried Green tomato BLT was to die for. Sweet potato fries were very tasty. Maryland crab soup was fresh and tasty. My mundane order, a turkey club, was very good with a specialty sauce. Service was excellent; Freshly prepared food was worth the wait; And prices are more than reasonable. You should give it a try.

Love this place. Right off of 113, I come here a lot for lunch meetings (by far the best option in the area). The food is consistently very good and the waitresses have been awesome. Also have stopped in for happy hour and enjoy their selection of local beers on tap (16 mile, Dogfish, etc.).

Calamari was excellent with a tasty marinara and horsey sauce to dip in. My wife's ham and brie was on fresh French bread and my crabcake sandwich, though small, was full of crab and very tasty. Looks like they have a decent happy hour and everything was very clean and the food was fresh.

Nice enough restaurant but my entree, Blue Water pasta, was described on the menu as having shrimp and crab with fresh tomatoes, spinach, and carrots in a light asiago cheese sauce with penne. Everything was there except the crab. When I mentioned the missing crab to our waitress, Amy, she said, " they use very fine crab that you can't see". (OR taste!) The waitress said she would mention my concern to the kitchen. Our bill came without any adjustment or anyone coming to speak to us. The meal was very tasty but, I am tired of restaurants omitting a key ingredient from a dish. I order based on the description as written in the menu and expect my meal to match the description. It is not OK to short change customers in this way.

The crab cake and fish sandwich were both okay. The two items took almost an hour to get and the place was not full. Frustrating.

Just checked this place out for lunch, awesome butternut squash soup!!! Then had scallops, asked for a side of the delicious dipping sauce (DDS) that they sell there, it was GREAT definitely suggest doing that switch out. Finished off the meal with the mint choc chip creme brûlée - never experienced anything like it.....AMAZING. Worth the stop in!!

I love this place. They have amazing, fresh burgers, cooked perfectly to order. The sweet potato fries are delicious, and the onion rings are beautifully breaded and not greasy. There are always interesting and creative specials - today there was a portobello mushroom stuffed with lobster imperial - I would have gotten that but my husband has an aversion to mushrooms. There are always creative specials and fresh desserts. Today there was an amazing Thin Mint Cheesecake made with an entire box of Thin Mint girl scout cookies - yum!!! Josh - the owner/chef told us about the next "girl scout cookie" cheesecake he has in the works.

Stopped in for a nice dinner on a recommendation from a friend who is a full timer. My wife had the Ahi tuna and I had their homemade meatloaf. Both were delicious and were accompanied with some very nice sides. The mashed sweet potatoes and fresh green beans were right on the mark. Great job!

This restaurant used to be good. Food was better a few years ago. Maybe Josh not cooking there anymore? Maybe they could invest in someone with culinary skills? We used to dine here about once a month and then they started going downhill. We scaled back to about every few months hoping they would have a come back. It's gotten so bad, we will only check it out about once a year hoping things will change. Now we are considering never going back. It's a cute restaurant inside, but that doesn't cut it for me. Richard the waiter is good, and he will always fight for the customer. He will try to make it right for the customer. He's the best thing going for BWG. This place is close to our home, but we'll just have to find somewhere else to eat.

Great beers on tap, really friendly staff, and a great menu. Had the stuffed chicken and my buddy had the burger, both were delicious...and so were their sides. Found this place by accident and could not have had a better meal considering what else was en route to Ocean City.

I think this is the first negative review I have ever written for any restaurant. We worked late tonight and so on our way home finally decided to give Bluewater another chance after several years of not eating there. I had read several GREAT reviews on YELP so thought what the heck. WOW what a MISTAKE!!! The service was average at best. We ordered Calamari was way to salty and greasy not sure what the white sauce was supposed to be but the marinara tasted like it came from a can. I ordered Steamed Mussels (My favorite thing) my husband got the crab cakes which were on the specials board for $17.00 but our waitress made sure to tell us she had written the wrong price on the board and rather than bother to correct the price she was just telling everyone the correct price of $18.00. We waited for ever for our food and when it arrived my mussels were like little erasers WAY OVER COOKED !! I only ate about half the plate hoping that maybe I would find some that were not over cooked. I never did. When the waitress finally brought our bread it was cold and some kind of herb roll. A slice of fresh bread would have been better if the broth had been worth eating. My husbands Crab Cakes were the opposite of my Mussels. I am not sure they were even cooked. They did have a nice amount of crab meat but the breading in them was so heavy there was not much crab flavor to them. Not sure that the crab cakes at Georgia House are not better and you can not even find the crab in them. We had planed on having key lime pie for dessert but were afraid of it after the meal we were served. The highlight of the meal was the beer from 16 Mile brewery. Sad we often work late and since we live in Millsboro it would be wonderful to have a nice little place to grab dinner. This is just NEVER going to be it.

We live in Millsboro and eat at Blue Water Grill frequently. We are never disappointed! The food is fantastic, and the service is always great. I absolutely love their fish and chips, and their salads are amazing! We've had the calamari, crab dip, steaks, scallops, shrimp, sandwiches...a little bit of everything! We have always been pleased. I especially love seeing what their daily specials are, as they always have several different and equally delicious specials each night. I also love their homemade soups : ) So glad to have a great restaurant so close that always serves consistently good food.

This is one of my very favorite restaurants. From the first time we set foot in there, it reminded us of a favorite place in Hawi, on the Big Island of Hawai'i. Same kind of atmosphere - very open and airy with welcoming decor and a lighthearted feel (the art by local artists is a great touch). When faced with a choice of many restaurants in coastal Delaware, Bluewater always comes out on top as our destination (we live in Lewes - about 20 minutes away). We have never had a less-than-enjoyable meal there - lunch or dinner. So far this summer I have had soft shell crabs (sauteed) twice and they were wonderful both times. My favorite meal is mussels. Bluewater does mussels in exactly the way I prefer: in a light broth of olive oil, white wine, and lemon on the side. Very simple yet delectable. With a nice piece of French bread, they make a perfect lunch or dinner (as the portion is quite generous). My husband swears on the ahi tuna sandwich for lunch. Great staff, great service, great food. One cannot go wrong at Bluewater Grill!
