I went here for dinner with my fiancé on a Wednesday night. The food was excellent, and the service was spot on. The owner came out and greeted us, and to make sure we were having a nice evening. The dessert and wine recommendations were very nice. This is a great place. Great job.

This review is for the restaurant side. Service was mediocre - food was terrible. Ordered a calamari appetizer that was so rubbery as to be inedible. They remade the calamari with little improvement. Mushroom risotto was overpoweringly sweet - completely overwhelmed the dish and the rice was completely dried out. Chicken Marsala was just ok. Chicken was passable but pasta was cooked to the consistency of baby food. Steer clear.

We loved their subs! Both were daily specials at $5 each. My meatball sub came with fries and my husband's Italian sub came with a soda. Being from Philly we are a bit picky about subs. These both were top notch; absolutely competitive with South Philly fare. Meat, bread, sauce, cheese: all high quality. Owners were very nice. We tried macaroons for dessert. Out of this world!

Stopped in for a light lunch. We had a cup of Wedding Soup. This is a chicken based soup with meatballs, other veg and greens. Only, mine was barely lukewarm and I had to go find the waitperson to get it heated up to proper temp. Then it came back, boiling, but then we did find out, they are skilled at using a microwave. So, I waited for the soup to cool to from dangerously hot to reasonably hot and lo, no meatballs. One-quarter of a slice of a meatball was in it, lots of spinach, the ends of baby carrots and it was bland and amazingly, needed salt. And any kind of flavor. I reverse-engineered how they made this so-called Wedding Soup; low salt chicken broth from a tetrapack, to which was added finely, too finely chopped vegt, and throw in some leftover sliced meatballs, a sprig of thyme, some oregano and basil, maybe. The reason it was tasteless was the entire flavor was boiled out of it by the chicken broth. This was pretty much boiled up leftovers. My lunch companion also remarked on how tasteless the soup was. So it wasn't just fussy old me. We asked for bread, a good ciabatta bun, sliced in four slices, came without butter, and when asked for butter, was offered an oil dip, which came with molasses-like balsamic under the oil. Must have sat quite a long while (overnight? longer?) At least, we think the oil dish was out so long that the liquid balsamic had time to solidify under the oil. If you tried to dip the balsamic, it came up like caramel taffy. In short, poor culinary technique that even a 10th grade home-ec student could surpass. Serving soup lukewarm is a usual sin around this state, I find, but reheating it to the temperature of volcanic magma is not only careless, it's dangerous and silly. This soup was boiled veg leftovers and meatballs and an insult to call it. Italian Wedding Soup. The tomato-basil soup had already sold out, and we realized why this was still available. Next time, if there is a next time, we'll know not to order it.

Safe food, friendly staff and overall an above average place to visit. Its not super fancy, but comfortable. Id recommend dinner.They have some nice wines too. The chicken marsala is well done.

i went to the Immediato's Bistro next door to the take-out deli. had the mahi mahi sandwich - amazing flavor, cute decor inside, and good service. will definitely go again

Had a GREAT meal and a GREAT time at the Bistro!! Highly recommend. Service was great, kid friendly, OUTSTANDING food! Guitarist was sooo much fun too. Will go back for sure.

Stopped in for an early dinner with a party of four. Salad was great. Husband enjoyed bisque. I thoroughly enjoyed my seafood pescatore. Everyone in my party was fully satisfied with their entrees. Dessert was a totally different story... I am a baker at heart and have been since I was just a young teenager and I can (in my humble opinion) honestly rate a dessert, as you might be able to tell by my reviews here. Their desserts are amazing. And I only got a selection of a few cookies. They were so good in fact that I would (and am planning on it as the holiday quickly approach) traveling back down there, over a 40 minutes drive from my home, to get some as take out. Here's the lowdown on what I have: Coconut Macaroon ~ If done correctly, a true coconut macaroon should have a chewy texture of lovely coconut and sweetened condensed milk. And this hit it right on the head. The only thing that would have made this a smidge better would be having them come to room temperature for about 30-45 minutes. The Turtle Cookie ~ A chocolate combination of a sugar and butter cookie stuffed with caramel. The cookie was solid enough to hold the filling yet baked correctly so that it did not crumble when bitten into. The Raspberry Filled Cookie ~ I am a sucker for anything raspberry. This cookie, again a cross between a sugar and butter cookie was sweet but not over sweet, chewy but not over chewy, heavy to hold the filling yet light. What does all this mean? It was almost, about 99.5% of the way to being a perfect cookie. Husband had the peanut butter stuffed cookie. He enjoyed it. (Nope, his reviews of baked goods are simple at best - probably because he has been testing my recipes for over 15 years now! So to recap: WaitStaff was nice and attentive. Bread was good (and hot) Antipasta was solid. Entree were tasty. Dessert was heavenly.

My husband and I love this place!! We have only been twice but have been extremely happy both times! Wait staff is wonderful and very helpful! I cannot get enough of the pasta, the Alfredo is my favorite! It is delicious!!!! We will definitely be returning and bringing our friends!

I stopped in on my last night in the area and had a mushroom cheese steak. It was so good to this poor 'steak sandwich deprived Californian (by adoption not birth). Packed with meat, mushrooms and onions the way I learned to love them from Mamie's on Lincoln Street.

Love this place. Favorite sandwich is grilled chicken with bruschetta and fresh mozzerella. Yummy. Jen is so sweet, she could be a candy. Tony is dedicated.

I really , really, really wanted to like Immediato's after hearing via word of mouth that it was a great sub shop. The service was great and my Italian 12 inch sub looked really appetizing. Unfortunately, the deli meat on my sandwich was "off." Kind of scary really and it made me think that they aren't watching the expiration dates/monitoring safe food practices/using quality meats. Steer clear of anything ham there :(
