Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Pizza was excellent, If you want great pizza in Hockessin this is the spot. Easy to get to, friendly staff. Can get a quick haircut next door while you wait. I wish they joined up with Grub hub so Hockessin had more on the app. I am looking forward to experiencing some other culinary delights again soon!

The pizzas and calzones are excellent. They use high quality ingredients. The workers are friendly and get to know their customers. The sad thing is that the other pizza places in Hockessin can't make a decent pizza. It is only flour, cheese, and sauce but somehow most places mess it up. There is only one other place out of about 6 pizza shops that can make a quality pizza. They have a very small seating area so it is not a good place for large groups. But if anyone says the pizza here is bad I really wonder what kind of pizza you are used to or like because the pizza they make is as good as any place I have been to locally or in Philly. The pizza they make is right up there with the best I have had.

Go for the food, not the ambiance. While the interior is a little spartan, they do have great pizza. Thin crust and good flavor. And they finish it with a drizzle of olive oil. My favorite outside of Taverna in this area. I also highly recommend the eggplant parm sub. The best I've ever had. They baste the inside of the roll with olive oil and garlic. You can select your cheese. I ordered sharp provolone and fresh mozzarella. The whole thing is toasted and the roll had a perfect crispy exterior with a soft interior.

Today was my first visit to Pizza Pro although I've lived in the area my entire life. Overall better food than other big name places in the area (i.e. Pats, Seasons etc.) and the price wasn't any higher than I'd expect to pay for take out pizza. All of the staff were also very friendly. The pizza had a thin crust and not too much sauce, which is fabulous since a lot of places put way too much sauce on the pizza. The cheese fries were perfect. They gave enough cheese for the entire order of fries and the fries were nice and crisp and didn't get soggy on our drive home. I am only giving 4 stars because of the wings. While they weren't bad, their sauce seemed to be more vinegar and oil based and I tend to lean toward a more butter based buffalo sauce. This is a place I expect to go back to and was definitely worth the 15 min ride from Pike Creek.

Pizza Pro is a little hole in the wall pizza joint down in Hockessin, DE. I'm a little torn on my experience here. I think I'd give the pizza a 4, but the restaurant itself gets a 2 earning an overall solid 3 review. Here's why. We had a large pizza with 2 toppings. Pepperoni & Sausage. (Regular sausage, not Italian sausage). The pie itself was good. Fresh dough, good cheese blend, decent sauce and the toppings were good too. Price was $15.00 bucks for the pie, which is a little high for a two topper in a hole in the wall joint like this. My real complaint stems from the temperature. The place was freezing cold. The entire restaurant had a draft through it and I think the only source of heat was the pizza oven. If you don't want people to dine in, then don't have a dining room. So all in all, if you're going to get a pie here, at least during the winter, call ahead and do a carry out or if you live close enough just have them deliver it.

Easily the best pizza in Hockessin. My favorite is the four cheese with tomatoes that they do as an unadvertised special. It tastes like something you'd get in a much fancier place. They also have really good eggplant fries and strombolis too. The owner is a great guy who really knows his food and pushes the boundaries (well for Hockessin) of what to put on pizza. I bet nobody else in town serves prosciutto on their pies!

The pizza here is good. Very good. It tastes much more like NYC style pizza then anything around the area. Only order by the whole pie, not by the slice (please trust me on this, I'm not going to go into detail, but do NOT order single slices). The place itself is a little hole in the wall place and isn't a great building, but the pizza is good.

Super fresh ingredients. Love the atmosphere. Owner Ryan Iaconi knows what he's doing! Love every meal I get here! Pizza: The Godfather, Hawaiian, and White are amazing. The Mediterranean Chicken Salad is one of the best salads on earth - Ike makes the dressing himself. Legit. Much love for this place.

I have found the food to be common Italian American take out .The items on the menu that I have tried, I consider to be delicious. The "hole in a wall" restaurant isn't a fine dining establishment clearly; no white linen or pretense here.... I typically order the pizza which has a somewhat spicy sauce, thin crust and quality cheese. Sorry Joe, this is Hockessin DE where the cost of living is significantly higher than gold old VA...Their prices are comparable to any other similar restaurant in the area. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for take out Italian style food.

Awful! Ordered cheesesteaks, but it seems they forgot the meat! I mean there was nothing to the sandwich but the roll. The inside of my 8" sandwich could have fit into a dinner roll. The pizza was blah with no taste whatsoever. There are plenty of other pizza places within a few blocks so we won't be back.

I love pizza pro. They are super friendly and after I ordered there once they remembered me the next time! The buffalo chicken pizza is the best around town, we always have to order that. The pro fries are also necessary when we order from there. They are especially delicious and perfect when Jake or Ryan is cooking, they know exactly what they are doing. I love love love pizza pro. Also, they are pretty accurate on their time. Instead of every order, no matter the size, being 15 minutes, they actually try to calculate the time for all of your food. The delivery guys are great too! Pizza pro is a great small business, you're family to them once you walk through the door. I'll see employees outside the business and they'll stop to say hello and see how you're doing and what not. Great guys there and even better pizza.

The pizza and crust are easily the best in the area. Just the plain cheese is pretty awesome. And the boneless BBQ wings are oddly addictive!

Man..I love Pizza Pro. I order what I call "The Glenn", as inspired by a buddy who get a large with pepperoni and sausage, and it is just darn near perfect to me. From crust to topping, and everywhere in between, this is just your classic pizza. I guess I should try something else at some point, to really do a proper review.... NAH....
