For a mostly take out Chinese restaurant with cheap food this place isn't bad. But I question the 5 star reviews. It is not the best Chinese food in Delaware by far. And with the 3 tables, I did not even feel comfortable eating here. The wonton soup was a bit odd smelling. It was kind of artificial or had some ingredient I was not used to. Maybe it was just me or I was having a bad night, but I will pay more and go to places with better food. If you want fast take out for a cheap price, then you will be happy. But don't go here for a romantic dinner or with the family. It just doesn't have a warm feeling. If you look at the photo on their menu you will know what I mean. And if this was the last Chinese restaurant left on earth and I was starving I would still not give them 5 stars. I was thinking more like 2 stars but I feel bad for them stuck in a strip center and hope they get some business and help the local economy, so I give them 3 stars. But the fact that there are only 4 reviews says something doesn't it?

They have the best Chinese food ever! I recommend eating there to maximize deliciousness. The only drawback is that they do not have/use air conditioning. It gets a little toasty in the summer. I'd give 5 stars if it wasn't for the lack of air conditioning.

If you're in the mood for "fast food" Chinese food, you will not do better than this place. As your standard Chinese restaurants go, (not fine dining, that is to say), New Dragon is one of the best. Great-tasting food, good-sized portions, reasonable prices, and very friendly staff. Sometimes service is a bit slow if they are very busy, but well worth the wait.
