I have been to this restaurant many times and I usually find the food quite good. however, tonight the food was not too good. I ordered the chicken supreme burrito. The chicken tasted like it had been canned and the beans on the plate, and in the chicken, were way too salty! Way too salty! I could not finish the burrito. My wife had a beef dish and she too complained about the saltiness of the beans. The restaurant is clean, the restrooms are clean, and the servers are polite...so that accounts for the three stars. However, the food was disappointing.

This place is really close by where I live and I come here a lot. They have a very extensive menu and the some of the best dishes are their Molcajete, Camarones Guadalajara, Green Chile Plate, Pork Chop Plate, Carne Asada Plate, Shrimp Cocktail... the list goes on. You have to try their Michelada. (Mexican Red Beer.) It's better than the clamato bud light that you get from the stores. It almost tasted like a Bloody Mary but with beer. You can choose your beer and I just got Tecate with it. Be warned, it's a little spicy but very delicious! Molcajete is basically chicken, beef and shrimps in a cheesy red sauce. It comes on a hot stone bowl so be careful when you scoop your food out. The camarones Guadalajara is bacon-wrapped shrimp in a different red sauce with cheese. Green Chile plate also comes with very tendered pork chunks that goes really well with the rice and the beans. They are known for their seafood, every table has seafood of some sort every time I come here. Also ordered the Flan for dessert.. it was very yummy as well. The only thing I wasn't too pleased about this place is they don't make their own tortillas fresh. They are store-bought and I wish they were freshly made... Overall, really good stuff!

Not the chain restaurant. Very good and seems popular with local latinos. Good sign. Recommended !

We tried this place on a whim, and I'm glad we did! The margaritas are delicious, and the entree menu is extensive. It is also very affordable, and though the dining area is on the smaller side it has a cozy feel to it. Staff is also very attentive.

This place is awesome!!! The ladies that work here are attentive and offer great service. We love coming here for their authentic tacos, they're just as delicious as the tacos I've had while in Mexico.

Really? Don't know where to start. The salsa is not fresh, tastes like the stuff from a cheap bottle in the grocery store. The guac is THE WORST guac I have ever had. I think there may have been mayonnaise in it, I probably don't need to say more. The margaritas were full of sweet and sour mix and didn't seem to have any alcohol in them. Oh, and the wait staff didn't seem to like us much. We quickly left after experiencing the guac and the margarita failure. Will never go back to this place.

This place was AMAZING! I was dreading having to wait forever because every parking spot in the lot was full but we were seated as soon as we walked in the door. Our server was very welcoming and even though they were extremely busy she took the time to talk to my daughter. (If you have kids, you know that is a BIG plus) Not only did our server make sure we were taken care of, but two other servers asked if we were doing okay. The food was sooo good! The portions were large as well and CHEAP!! Our bill was $18.56 for two adults and a child. This is now our go-to Mexican restaurant.

Ever have a craving for a particular food, and only that food will do? For me, it was a crispy chile relleno, doubly important since the last time I had a "relleno", it was flabby and lame. So I got to lookin' around on Yelp for some Mexican food, out of Brighton, of course, since everything sucks here. Landed on this place: *saw the pictures, (very helpful), **read the reviews, (overwhelmingly positive), ****scoped the menu, (large and enticing, with very reasonable prices) and there, by golly, were the crispy rellenos I was craving. We motored on over, got a table, (nice granite slab) in a pretty small, but clean and inviting little place. Lots of Latinos, wolfing down all manner of treats, (the ostiones looked GREAT, as well as cockteles, caldo de res, etc.), so you know you gonna be OK if the Latinos like it. Now, I know I kinda played it safe with rellenos and enchiladas, but it was tasty, CRISPY, and filling, and me an' wifelet got outta there for under $30 for lunch. Service was competent and brisk, food was on the table in less than 15 minutes from ordering, and piping hot. Three different waitresses came by after to see how we were doing. Will definitely be back for some of the more authentic offerings, as well as some mariscos. Now, if only they were in Brighton.

Found this place from Yelp, it was at the top of the list so we figured we would give it a shot. We were extremely happy with the food and service, it was excellent all the way around. Show up a little early for lunch because it does get busy. Enjoy!! You won't be disappointed.

This is my go to favorite place to eat Mexican food! Never had a bad meal although the Guac is super bland the delicious salsa makes up for it! Service is always great, they do need more room because this place is always packed when we go! We refer everyone to go eat there and they usually end up as repeat customers! We always take all of our out of town guests to eat there! YUM!~

Great place, beautiful quality food, good prices. Comfortable venue and good at ice Love the salsa, the rellenos Come early Come often

Food is OK not the greatest for taste but certainly edible. Great value for the price and plentiful portions. Went on a Friday about 6 and the place was packed and stayed that way. Partially due to the fact it has limited seating.

This place is AMAZING! We loved it! Found it on Yelp and so glad we did! Some of the best food we've had in a long time!

Been here multiple times always really good food and amazing customer service. Also speedy didn't have to wait long for food. Amazing my new favorite Mexican place.

I moved to Colorado about a year ago and have been searching for some good Mexican food. There seems to be a million places, but nothing has remotely come close to be considered "good". We tried Guadalajara, as another attempt to find good Mexican food and we scored!!! This place has a gigantic menu and everything is fantastic!! The food alone would totally rock 5 stars easy!! They do a lot of seafood, a decent amount of traditional, but also the guilty pleasures of the more Tex-Mex super fried assortments. The chips are good, but the salsa is amazing. It's a thin salsa, but fresh and with a little kick. And the alcoholic beverages we've tried were very nice, although I don't know exactly where the bar is... The down side would be that even though it's located in Westminster off of 72nd, it's in a weird section with a bar (that has the same name) on one side, and a trashy empty lot across the way. The place is tiny, you walk in and think it's a dive joint, but it's not. It's clean enough, just small, so you hear everyone else's conversation. And the service has been hit or miss. A couple of the servers are excellent and attentive (after all the place is so small they have eyes on you the whole time) and others stand around talking and ignoring you completely. Altogether, we have decided this is our Mexican place. If you want great food and that's the most important part, then this is the place to go. I wouldn't bring someone from out of town whom I'm trying to impress with a big fancy restaurant though.

this place is by far my favorite mexican restaurant ever :)

  • Jess H.

Took the whole family... Kids & adults all enjoyed! Great house margaritas, crispy tamales & the molcajete was out of this world... The flavors of the house-made chorizo was phenomenal!

  • J S.

We love this place. La comida era estupenda! This is as good guadalajara style mexican food as I have ever had. They did a nice job on the interior. The staff were friendly and the service was as good as you would hope to have. Our new favorite place.

  • sharon m.

Excellent restaurant. We are always looking for great Mexican food and finally found it. The portions are big and prices very reasonable. Great service and very nice and friendly. Loved the salsa.

    (5)
  • Sulema M.

Confused by another review. The guac is definately guac....hands down....just avocado - no mayo....hmmm. The salsa is okay, but not bottled that's for sure. I'm sure others are used to bottled salsa and I personally NEVER buy that crap. In any case, my DH and I stopped in for a bite and fell in love with the molcajete and huachinango (red snapper) dishes. Although we favor these two dishes, I've tried the flautas, enchiladas, and crispy rellenos as well. All were pretty darn good. Everything tends to be very authentic and made with care. No canned crap here. Service is hit or miss, but overall okay. This has become our regular local mexican food joint and we enjoy it.

  • Kerry L.

Went there based on Yelp reviews. This place certainly is no 5 star rating and I'm starting to wonder if all the reviews are legitimate. Chips, salsa, and guacamole carry a heavy weight and all three sucked. Chips have no salt and are served cold, the salsa is too spicy and not true salsa in my opinion, and the guacamole is NOT real guacamole (serve the real stuff and charge more!). Nasty. The food was decent but green chile is obviously not their specialty. The beans were good. Rice average. Everyone else at my table thought their food was average. Margarita was gross (too salty and very weak). Prices were decent. The parking is bad and there is no where to wait for your table except your car! I like the look of the inside but the server station location is ridiculous. I planned to give 2 stars but gave 3 because the service was good and every staff member was helpful, hard working, and friendly.

  • Nichole V.

Service is awesome and this place is impeccably clean! Food is fresh and oh so yummy! And the prices are right! If you want some good mexican food this is the spot. Oh but at times there is a wait...that's what happens when you have a great restaurant!

    (5)
  • Thomas P.

I love this place. Reasonable prices, good service and really great Mexican food. I keep meaning to try more dishes, but the burrito supreme is so good that I keep coming back to it. Nice margaritas too.

  • Kimberly M.

My co-worker and I just ate here for lunch. We were very impressed with the friendly, attentive service, the awesome salsa, the very clean and updated atmosphere, good food and even better prices! We will definitely be going back!

  • b b.

We love this place. It's in our hood and has pretty decent margaritas and the salsa is pretty tasty. We have loved everything we've gotten so far. We really like the selection and haven't been disappointed yet. the chicken and the steak are both a on the thin side, but the bacon shrimp are pretty awesome. I only gave 4 stars because I wish their dining area was a little bigger, on a windy day you can get breezes coming from the door blowing straight into the food/drink prep area :/ but have to say they've made good use of the space they have. We will be back.

  • Roy W.

Great food, great menu. Authentic Mexican food. Location is good if your on the correct side of the road. Service is fast and efficient. Price is right. Parking lot is small.

  • Mark B.

I have no idea what authentic mexican means but i think this place nails it!. I wont eat any menudo or "authentic" dishes but when it comes to mexican cuisine in the state of colorado, this place meets all my expectations: great spicy green chile, tasty and CRISPY chile rellenos (the souffle thing is disgusting). and good house margaritas. Oh yeah. and it doesn't break the bank. I highly recommend stopping in to this place if you are ever near 72nd and Federal.

Alright, here is what you order when you sit down at this place. First you start of with a Michelada (Red Beer) They make the best! Then you sip on that while you look over the menu. Can't go wrong with anything on there, but DEFINITELY, and I mean DEFINITELY choose the Molcajete with the flour tortillas. Yes it is $15, but worth every bit. Then sit back and sip some more of the Michelada(Red Beer) while nibbling on some chips and salsa. When the Molcajete comes out to your table everyone else in the joint just stares in amazement and wonders why they didn't order it, or asks you what you just ordered, cause it looks as good as it tastes! Man... I can't wait to get back there and follow my own advice!

(Note: So this is months later and I don't remember exactly what we had but I still wanted to write a quickly for them cuz they rock!) Reason #1 why not to sit at home during a snow storm... hella great authentic food! So with the snow coming down and not wanting to cook, my husband and I headed into the storm. After reading the reviews, and being close to our house we chose this place.... and let me tell you it was great! Our waitress spoke little English (so you know it is going to be good) and she was very helpful and cheerful. Their salsa was fresh and flavorful, their chips crisp and we had 3 bowls of it during our meal. My husband had bacon wrapped shrimp with some sort of BBQ type looking sauce that melted in your mouth along with something else that I can't remember cuz I was so into my meal, hehe. I had a quesa and I remember loving their guacamole that they had on it and the meat inside was the right amount of spice to cheese ratio. We also had strawberry cheesecake for dessert, which was ok but a little too creamy for my taste. Oh also the leftovers worked out quite nicely the next day ;)

This is a single visit review for their carnitas tacos. The menu here is pretty extensive though and I'll have to return to try their other specialties which include mariscos (seafood). A somewhat limited selection of meats available for tacos since this isn't a strictly street-style restaurant. Three tacos with small sides of refritos and arroz for about $9.00. Package tortillas that I wish were a little fresher, decently seasoned meat and a single red salsa seasoned differently than the one served with the complimentary chips (which I preferred). I've made the mistake of trying to find street style tacos in a sit down restaurant before (El Paraiso comes to mind) but I obviously didn't learn from past mistakes. I'll update after trying their mocajetes or parilladas which are their specialties. Rancho Liborio is less than a block away so if street-style is what you need...

Amazing food at a great price. Free chips and salsa. Fresh guacamole.

  • Andrew B.

Great food, but we like the posole the old way they used to serve it, where you mix in your own chile, cilantro, onions, etc.. Now they add the chile into the pot, put a bit too much in for our tastes. Too bad, was our favorite posole until they changed. Unlikely to go back now.. Excellent service !!!

I am a Menudo lover. The Menudo is above average. No pigs feet though. Some like pigs feet, some don't. I DO! :) The Molcajete dish is superb. Very flavorful, fresh ingredients, perfectly spiced, cheesy, lots of mean. Just yummy! A bit on the expensive side for this dish, but I think its worth it. They have authentic Shrimp Coktail! With the Avacados, spicy, etc... Good stuff. I took my Grandmother here once, and she tried a burrito. I took a bite and it lives up to the standard all the other foods I have tried here. The meat was full of spices. The beans were not as watery as most other places. The Chili was well made. I give this place 5 thumbs up. If only I had 5 thumbs.

  • Ryan J.

Had both the menudo and the spicy ceviche. The menudo was flavorful and the sides that go into the soup complimented the meal very well. The ceviche was really good, you think it isn't that spicy until it hits you about 3-4 bites in then it has a very accentuating but not overpowering heat. Overall the meal was awesome and refreshing being it was right after a day at Water World. Definitely go there for an expansive menu and great food! GO VOLS!

Great Value ! $6 dollar Margs and great food. Found this place on Yelp and we were glad we went. Will be back !!

We stopped in here after an event at the Softball Complex, google maps told me it was the closest and best rated mexican within 5 miles. Great salsa/chips, good flavor and just a bit spicy. I had the Carne Asada tacos, mm! The meat was so tender and it was just the right size. Beans and rice was good too. My friends had the enchiladas, said they were amazing! I would definitely make a special trip up this way again for tasty and cheap mexican.

Guadalajara is the place for my family and friends when it comes to authentic Mexican food in Denver. I am Canadian and the only experience I had with Mexican food was TB and an old Tex/Mex chain called ChiChi's. My wife has taken me to several restaurants to find her favorite, and Guadalajara has taken its spot as number one. The rellenos are great, the chimichanga is awesome and the Molcajete is my new favorite! Like I said, I may not know much about Mexican food but this place is amazing. Staff is always friendly. The ambiance is what you'd expect from a Mexican restaurant. Don't go expecting fancy, but when they serve you their chips and salsa to start...you'll know you'll be having a great meal!

  • Teri M.

We were pleasantly surprised! The restaurant is certainly a "hole in the wall" kind of place, but don't let that turn you off! My hubby and I were in the neighborhood and starving. So we stopped in based on Yelp reviews. We came in at 3pm on a Saturday. The place was packed, which isn't difficult to imagine as it's very small. We waited 15 minutes for a table. The service was fast. Our server didn't seem overly friendly, but she checked on us often and got our food to us while it was still sizzling. My husband had the Tampiquena (sirloin, chicken flauta, and cheese enchilada) and I had the beef chimichanga. The food was amazing. I even liked the rice, which I normally don't eat. The meat was very flavorful. Great horchata, too! We will definitely be returning!

    (4)
  • Holly M.

We here for dinner last night because we were graving Mexican food- It was packed and we sat and ordered drinks ...! Horchata's were very tasty - We both got combination plates ...burritos enchiladas and chili rellenos Took a long time to get our food but when it came I was pretty good .. A combo of red chili and green ... The waiters were nice and friendly It was a bit pricey but we did order drinks instead of usually water.... I'm sure we will come back ! Thanks guys :)

  • Crystal Girl S.

I was tossed between giving this place a 3 or 4 star rating and I'm going with the 4 because the service was great. First off my expectations were HIGH because the ratings were so good. The place is in a sketchy area and the outside of the restaurant is nothing to brag about but when you walk in, it's decorated really nice with some great finishes. There was a line out the door of people waiting to get seated so that was a good sign. I ordered a smothered burrito and it was good but it didn't blow me away. Growing up with homemade mexican food however has me very picky about my beans and chili. I've had better and probably wouldn't make a special trip down here again to eat but would stop in if in the area and need a mexican food fix. Wish this family the best in this endeavor - they seem to be doing well with the locals.

Had an enchilada, crispy chili rellano and a avocado tostada....none of them were excellent....just okay. If you're interested in seafood, everyone around us was loving theirs. Super great service.

Our second time coming here, we moved here from Houston and we're use to flavorful tex mex. We've been pretty disappointed so far. We found this place based off of the yelp reviews and it's been pretty darn good. The salsa is a deal breaker and the red salsa here is great. Spicy but not torture hot. The fajitas are also great! Ceviche is huge! The two of us couldn't finish half. Claudio was our server and so nice! He did a great job. Very small and casual place.

  • Chris K.

Best Mexican food in Denver! Love this place. Aguachiles are amazing. Great fajitas too. You can't go wrong with anything you order here

10 out of 10.. I've always been a straight to the point guy. So here's why Guadalajara gets these incredibly high scores. One day I stumbled inside this gold mine & Mmmmm... There it is! That fresh, fully flavored, sizzling, hot bowl of spicy scented goodness. They call it a "Molcajete" over at Guadalajara; I just call it "The Usual". This restaurant is the next big thing, I'm telling you! Good food, great environment, impressive service... Stunning for date night, a relaxing day off, or even a late dinner when the night calls! Thanks again Guadalajara.

Excellent food & service...looks a little sketch, parking aisa trick but damn the food was great. Found on Yelp and tried it, a real winner.

The food looked better than the pictures. Very delicious, and the server was outstanding!

If authentic Mexican food is your ONLY priority then you may have a better experience here than I did. I went on Cinco de Mayo and was excited that there was no wait, the restaurant was nearly empty. We were seated quickly and our drink order was taken by the hostess. It then took quite some time for our assigned server to come by. He was apathetic and bland, never refilled our chips and salsa, forgot part of our order (it never did arrive), and spent more time refilling his own drink than doing anything else. The interior is very small and there is not much going on as far as decor or ambiance. They didn't even have music playing as far as I can remember. The food was served hot and well seasoned. The beans were delicious but the rice was bland and dry. My margarita was okay, but nothing special. Overall really, pretty "meh". I will try other places before I consider returning here.

    (2)
  • Kris K.

EXTREMELY LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The food was OK, nothing special. Very little spice or flavor. Everything tasted fresh and edible, just not anything to shout about. One server for the entire restaurant.

I had never heard of Guadalajara Mexican restaurant until my boyfriend and I had a hankering for Mexican today and did a Yelp search in our local area. What a pleasant surprise! The food was delicious and the service was great. The atmosphere is casual and clean and we went during the lunch hour and it filled up completely. I always seem to have a burrito and this was amazing. Lots of steak and all the side fixings and not too much cheese. My boyfriend had the camarones Guadalajara and thought it was really delicious. The chips, salsa and guacamole salad were also great. He also like his margarita. :) I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you live in the Westminster area and are looking for a nice locally owned Mexican restaurant with good food. We will definitely be going again!

For the price and wonderful service, you cant beat this place! The green chili was really good, but I really appreciated was the friendly service. The entire staff was very attentive and certainly went above a beyond. Don't go to a chain, support this small business instead!

    (5)
  • Darcy L.

This is the definition of hole-in-the-wall. It's so tiny inside and it's always packed but it's totally worth it. Such great mexican food and the service is always super fast. You don't get just 1 waitor, the whole staff is there to help you. I love their green chili and the macacha burrito is amazing.

  • Anders J.

I've been here 3 times since recently moving to the Denver area. Each time has been a wonderful experience. Not only is this the most authentic I've found, it's been absolutely delicious! The service is always on. They are extremely generous with the free chips and perfect salsa. I've found the owner to be extremely nice and accommodating, even with a line out the door. If you are looking for some great authentic Mexican, this should be at the top of the list!

    (5)
  • Mark S.

I love this place. The food is great and the staff are friendly and service is excellent. If it's hot out I recommend the shrimp cocktails but everything here is great. Easily one of the best mexican restaurants in town.

Huge fan overall. Was our first time there and loved the food, drinks and service. We will be back!

    (5)
  • Kiersten S.

Spicy Mexican food is my favorite! This place fell short of five stars do to a lack of spicy green chili(even after requested) and also because the cheese in my cheese enchilada was not melted. But, other than that the food was delicious. The crispy rellenos were yummy and cheesy, the enchilada sauce was delish, the refried beans were creamy and yum and the guacamole was fresh and addicting. The service was friendly and attentive amd the prices seemed right. We will recommend highly and we will be back!

    (4)
  • Josie J.

I ordered a breakfast burrito and usually it comes smothered but I didn't want to that so I asked for the green chili on the inside. When I got it home there was no green chile so I called them and they decided to argue with me instead about it.

Wow! So glad I found this place. Was looking for a good Mexican place in the area and this showed up at the top on yelp. Well it did not disappoint! Great prices and great food. If you are in the area stop by its amazing!

Waited twenty Min for lunch so I was expecting a good meal and I was not disappointed. Hot greasy chips accompanied by a smokey salsa. Three taco combo and a Beef Burrito combo, 17 big ones. Great deal, good service and enough left over for a late night snack . In-Joy

  • Aaron K.

Simply put, the best Mexican restaurant I have been to in CO. Affordable and great drinks to top it off. Can be a bit loud when busy (always is) as it is small and has lots of glass. I will forgive the acoustic shortcomings as the food, service and drinks are simply top notch. Bacon wrapped shrimp in chipotle are worth splurging for. Combination meals start at $7 and are never microwaved unlike a lot of places. Love Guadalajara, give it a try.

  • Dale H.

One word.. "Incredible". My new favorite authentic mex place in town

    (5)
  • Pomponia S.

My favorite! I have really high standards for Mexican food. This place is clean, nicely decorated and most importantly, the food is delicious! Be adventurous when ordering and you won't be disappointed. I recommend the "Camarones Guadalajara" and the "Molcajete". The service has consistently been good (I've been 5 times) and the $5 margaritas are tasty ;) Sometimes it can be a little noisy, especially if there is a game on or a lot of people with kids... that's life.

  • Bryan H.

This is the BEST Mexican restaurant in Colorado. Great food great Drinks!!! And they have fight nights as well.

    (5)
  • Tony M.

This place is awesome! I had the Guadalajara Special which allows you portions of their steak, chicken, and bacon-wrapped, cheese-filled shrimp! Went as a group of 5, everybody said they loved it, including my friend who stated they had some of the best shrimp tacos he'd ever had. About right on price for how great the food is. It's a small intimate setting, and a well kept secret!

    (5)
  • Andrea B.

So you haven't been to Guadalajara? Seriously?! Wow that's your bad. Do yourself a favor go today, you will not be disappointed. The owners, staff and cooks take great pride in their food and service. They genuinely care how the food is prepared, served and about your experience. One word - michelada, it's very good and their margaritas are awesome too, they're not light handed with the tequila. My favorite dish is the camrones de Guadalajara. It's large shrimp stuffed with a melty cheese wrapped in bacon. You eat them fajita style with tortillas and their yummy beans and rice - so damn good. They're are a ton of other wonderful dishes. Go there, go there now!!

  • Summer A.

This place was pretty good. The meat was amazing, especially the shrimp. The margs are ok but a little syrupy. I was disappointed they didn't have chili con queso. Overall, the space is quaint and the staff was friendly, we will go here again.

Been here 3 times and i can officially say this place is really great. Margs are cheap and pretty descent. We had molcajetas and chile rellenos and shared/combined and it was so good it was ridiculous. The service is always good too. I always appreciate getting a grilled jalapeño with almost every dish too. We had been going to paxia for awhile but this place i feel is better, and the service is way better.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I stumbled upon this place. It is very small and easy to pass on the street but the food was delicious. I would vote that it's the best authentic Mexican food in the area. Service was extremely friendly and the margaritas alone would keep me coming back. I tried the flautas, chicken fajitas and sopapillas and would recommend it all!

We found this place on Yelp and stopped there for dinner on our way to Vail from Denver airport. We were lucky to have a table since the restaurant was full, even though it was a weekday. We ordered a steak fajita and the seven-seafood soup. Both of them were really delicious. They also accommodated our request to get something non-spicy for our little one and brought beef broth, for which they didn't charge us. Overall, one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever been. Prices are very reasonable and the staff has been very kind.

We tried this place for the first time and it was amazing!!!! We are new to this area and have been sampling other Mexican restaurants. This is by far the best in the whole town of Denver. The only place I have found a mecelada better than theirs is Cancun!! All the sauces are flavorful and food was fresh. Great staff!! Will be returning soon.

This place is awesome. Beware service is overwhelmingly fast. The seafood is crazy good, coctel is huge had 15 or so good sized shrimp. I don't eat cheesy smothered stuff at places like this so can't comment on that. Would be a waste to pass on the other more authentic menu items. Oh yeah molcajete , eat it won't be disappointed. This is one of those places so good you almost don't want to leave a review to keep it a secret. Wouldn't matter it was packed on Friday night.

Took the whole family... Kids & adults all enjoyed! Great house margaritas, crispy tamales & the molcajete was out of this world... The flavors of the house-made chorizo was phenomenal!

We love this place. La comida era estupenda! This is as good guadalajara style mexican food as I have ever had. They did a nice job on the interior. The staff were friendly and the service was as good as you would hope to have. Our new favorite place.

    (5)
  • David S.

Food is OK not the greatest for taste but certainly edible. Great value for the price and plentiful portions. Went on a Friday about 6 and the place was packed and stayed that way. Partially due to the fact it has limited seating.

This is the BEST Mexican restaurant in Colorado. Great food great Drinks!!! And they have fight nights as well.

This is the definition of hole-in-the-wall. It's so tiny inside and it's always packed but it's totally worth it. Such great mexican food and the service is always super fast. You don't get just 1 waitor, the whole staff is there to help you. I love their green chili and the macacha burrito is amazing.

I ordered a breakfast burrito and usually it comes smothered but I didn't want to that so I asked for the green chili on the inside. When I got it home there was no green chile so I called them and they decided to argue with me instead about it.

Waited twenty Min for lunch so I was expecting a good meal and I was not disappointed. Hot greasy chips accompanied by a smokey salsa. Three taco combo and a Beef Burrito combo, 17 big ones. Great deal, good service and enough left over for a late night snack . In-Joy

  • Raoul B.

YUM!~

GO VOLS!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
