Gotta love the Applebee's 2 for $20. I come here a lot to meet with friends or when I don't feel like cooking! And the melty brownie dessert is to die for

Worst service I've ever experienced, for the second time. The bartender acted like we didn't exist. We weren't greeted for roughly 5 minutes and we were the only two people at the bar. We had to ask for menus and drinks. It took 15 minutes to get a food order in. Instead, the bartender counted his tips and continued to talk extremely profane with other servers about guests! The things they said about guests was horrific. As someone who works in the service industry I was not impressed at all. In fact, I was disgusted and offended. I live within walking distance of this restaurant but will NEVER return nor will I allow my friends and/family to dine here. I might as well have stayed at home and cooked myself.

Ordered the to-go service this evening. The service was slow but the food was decent. I got the feeling this place does not have their shiz together.

This location has a few issues they need to work out. When my boyfriend and I parked we couldn't help but notice the parking lot was nearly empty. Our experience was sub par. The server was kinda not around. She wasn't terrible but she could have been more involved. We did the 2 for $20. The app was just ok. Not outstanding but not completely gross. My boyfriend got ribs and fries . I got the 3 cheese chicken penne . I got a lot of tomatos and a lot of parmesan cheese. My bread was hard as a rock. My boyfriend's ribs were so small. They were so overcooked, they had no meat and were severely dry . His fries were ice cold and over salted . Overall not a good experience with the food and the service was sub par. The Applebees in Old Town is a lot different.

The service was awesome here. I have an Applebees near my house that sucks and I have one by my softball field but I prefer to go to this one becuase I like the atmosphere here better and the service. The last time I was here was this week and I had a raw chicken that I bit into and the bartender Alexander? saw and asked what was wrong. He realized it was raw and took care of me right away which was great. He went and told the manager right away and she was great. They gave me a free brew and took the chicken strip basket off my reciept which I offered to pay for and or half of it since I ate the entire meal minus the one chicken strip. This place probably should have a 4, maybe a 5 but due to the one wing it brought it down. Next time though. I'll be back and update it than.

Right up , this is the only place where I had to give waiting up to be seated, ever !! You'd think they would appreciate the business at lunchtime on a weekday . Nope . When I walked in , there were at most 6 other tables occupied . With at least 4 waiters , you'd expect to be immediately helped. I waited for about 15 mins and noone even came to help us. Finally , I decided to walk out but then came back in to let the manager know. Had to wait another 5 mins before he showed up . To give him credit , he did listen to what I had to say - didn't apologize , didn't say he'll fix it . He did however ask me ' would you still like to have lunch ?' Needless to say , I had to say NO. For all the options available around this place , they are very relaxed . I'm sure I'm never going back to this place .

Started off with our usual 2 for $20.00. About 2/3 of the way through my boy jacob had to run to the bathroom. Well he almost made it. Any hoo , as we were getting ready to pay, the manager Tony came to our table to tells us he was going to take off one of our meals. "We said he didn't have too but he insisted. Not only that he took off the most expensive meal, when he could have just taken off the kids meal. He said he has kids and wouldn't feel right making us pay for our meal when we didnt finish. Tony restored some Hope back in me which I thought I lost. Tony that's just good business. Thanks!

Don't go on Monday night when they have poker! My friends and I went there after our volleyball game and had dinner. Which took for ever for the food to come out and our paste was severed warm/cold. No manger stop by. Server didn't check up on our meal. When the check came out our waiter//waitress was leading over the bar talking to the bartender. NEEDS TO WORK ON SPEED OF SERVICE.

This is the worst Applebee's! It wasn't always this way, back about a year and a half ago we were regulars. We came in all the time, the staff was friendly, the food was good, we loved it. Now we will never go in there, which we always say, "never again" when we leave. Last night we decided to give it another one of these last chances for a quick, reasonable price. We were there 10 minutes before being driven out of the restaurant in disgust. There is one decent waiter there, and his name is Aaron, he told us he always works weekends. So we asked if he was there last night. 7/17/15, he was, we asked to be seated in his section. The hostess took 10 minutes to clean off this table. Then when we sat down, the table was sticky! All she did was clear the dishes, she didn't wipe it down or anything. Then we weren't even sat in Aaron's section! A woman came up to serve us and my husband asked what was on happy hour and she relied, "we only have happy hour in the bar". We've always gotten happy hour in the restaurant. So that was the last straw and we left. When my husband commented to the manager that it was taking a long time, his response was, "that's what you get when you ask to be seated some where specifically." He was so rude about it! This isn't the first time we've left in disgust. The other, most notable, time was when we left after I heard two waiters talking about how I was taking forever to order and was stupid because I didn't use the electronic thing on the table to order my dessert. (Which they also felt I didn't "need" and expressed that well within ear shot of me. Corporate needs to shut this place down and get someone competent to run the restaurant and hire respectful, intelligent, nice employees.

Ordered a steak medium rare and they brought it well done, not even a hint of pink. The potatoes were bland and maybe over steamed while they tomatoes were soaked in way to much dressing. If you're going to order something here I would just stick to bar food or a chicken dish. They are trying to hard to serve up things they really don't have the skill to cook. Plus it came out to be pretty expensive for what it was. Service was very mediocre. Felt like I was being served by a high school kid that really didn't care about anything and was tired of being there. Overall it wasn't horrible, but I really don't have anything good to say.

I know that we walked in at 10pm on a Monday night but, it shouldn't have taken the waiter to finish his conversation to get greeted & seated. When we asked to sit in s booth, we were told that area was closed and the only thing open was the bar area. We wanted a booth cause they are more comfortable and so we could talk. The music in the bar area is almost too loud to have a conversation. Ordered our drinks but when we asked about the new sweet potato fries appetizer, we were told that they were sold out. No other options were given. Got our drinks, gave our order & still no silverware or napkins. Had to ask for it. While the "kids" working were doing their jobs, going out of their way to give good customer service wasn't as important as talking to their friend at the bar. Will we be back? Probably but, it won't be our first choice.

Really like coming to this place and hanging out for a couple beers. The crowd is nice earlier in the night and the staff is awesome. I like that they are open late, too. I'll come here sometimes and work and the fact that they have free wifi is awesome. I don't get any weird looks when pulling out my laptop either. Lol! You also can't beat a happy hour that goes all night during games and until midnight every other day of the week.

What can I say- when you need a burger topped with barbecue sauce, pineapple, onion rings and chipotle peppers, with a side of thick cut fries and diet coke, it's nice to know you can go to Applebees. Or Chili's. Or Red Robin. Seriously, though. The wait staff is friendly, the service pretty quick. And the cool thing about Applebees is that they've been known to host pancake breakfast fundraisers. That gives them a little more cred, in my opinion.

I like the food and kids eating for $ .99 - well, you can't beat that. Service has always been good. I like the chicken fajita roll up or chicken Caesar salad. Hubby likes their burgers and Oriental salad. My kids like the food. Happy hour specials are good, too.
