I would have given them a 3 star review because the wings were good except the food seemed pricey for what we got. If I'm spending $45 for 2 people for WINGS and a beer I would expect the food and service to be better and the dinning area to be more accommodating. The wings were good though. We tried the malt vinegar fries and I wouldn't recommend them. Way too much seasoning. They were busy but it took 10 minutes to get our beers. We ordered at the counter and 8 minutes after we sat down a waiter came up and said, "you never told us what kind of beer you wanted." Really? I'm pretty sure I just ordered it at the counter... I grew up in the restaurant industry and I'm also pretty sure if you miss something from a customers order you don't blame the customer. Just politely say you missed it and ask if they would repeat their beer order. -Free lesson for your staff. Out of all the sauces we tried, I'd recommend the cool flicker. It has more kick than they claim but is very tasty. Not so hot that there's no flavor. Overall I may go back because there isn't a lot of options for wings in Parker, but it's not on my agenda anytime soon.

I'm so happy that this old wing place that shut down a while ago has been resurrected by Golden Flame. Lou, the owner, said this was their second store - the have another up the road in Aurora. Dale is right, Lou is very laid back and easy to talk to and makes the experience that much more relaxed. The wings are seriously legit. I do my own wings at home a lot and I blanch and bake mine instead of deep fry so I'm not used to a fried wing, but these are done very well. They have a touch of breading, not too much, and are fried for what seemed to be about 8-9 minutes, and they come out piping hot and crispy, but not greasy. The legs were meatier than most wings you'll come across, and they have a plethora of sauces to choose from. I had six of the Golden Flame which is listed "medium" and six of the Colorado Fancy which is listed as "hot". Both had very good flavor under their heat, especially the Colorado Fancy. I wouldn't call it a "hot" sauce though - it ranks about where Franks Red Hot Buffalo sauce is, a medium. The inside is clean and has been renovated since Wingman left the location. They have free Wi-Fi and three large flatscreens - overall a comfortable space. Bonus: They serve Fish and Chips! And you can get a pound of beer battered fish to go! Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom

These were possibly the worst wings I've ever had! I spent $57 for 60 wings that were practically burnt! They were crispy,,,, not just the outside but the inside meat as well! Total rip off! I must admit, my wife and I both like the drumstick piece more than the actual wing piece, there were two drumstick parts out of 60 pieces! I'm sorry, I am a very fair and understanding consumer,,,, this is just a review that needed to be shared!

I know I tend to get excited at new places, close to where I live, offering a food that is relatively hard to find in the vicinity. So, please forgive my enthusiasm for Golden Flame Hot Wings in Parker, CO. They just opened their doors last week, and the grand opening is tomorrow, January 18th. They moved into the location where the old Wingman (which closed last year) used to be. This is the first franchise location off of the home location in the Seven Hills Shopping Center of Aurora. The interior is very nice and brand new looking. It is done in a football theme and has some nice flat panel televisions. They also have free wi-fi. The liquor license has not yet arrived, but has been applied for. I met the owner/manager, Lou Chavez. He was very friendly, helpful and cool. There are 13 Specialty Sauces from which to choose:Cool Flicker, Golden Flame, Flaming Hot, Volcanic, BBQ, Teriyaki, Sweet & Sour, Garlic, Honey Bee, BBQ Blaze, Lemon Pepper, and Colorado Fancy Smoked Habanero. We ordered two 10 piece lunch combos with drinks and fries. We did 1/2 traditional and 1/2 boneless (same price). We tried the GoldenFlame, the Volcanic, the BBQ Blaze, and the Colorado Fancy Smoked Habanero. For the fries, we went with the Mile High Fries (Cajun) and the Garlic Fries. I am not a huge fan of boneless wings, by my dining companion seemed to enjoy them. The traditional wings were fried until crispy and thoroughly sauced. My favorite wing so far would have to be the Golden Flame. This is a great mix of "kind of sweet" with "plenty of heat". It was like a lightly-honeyed medium-hot buffalo flavor, but there was some really nice depth to it. I thought the Colorado Fancy Smoked Habanero was rather good, but it did not pack as much punch. The Volcanic, however, was excellent. Depending on your tolerance for heat, you might think "too much" or "not enough". For me, however, it was all the heat I possibly wanted, without crossing the pain threshold and making me want to stop eating them. Both of the fries were very fresh, nicely seasoned, and each order would have fed two people. I liked the Mile High ones the better of the two, but both were good. Parker is lucky (especially given the tendency of restaurants here to fail) to have a wonderful dedicated wing place again.

My wife and I had lunch her today and found ourselves sorely disappointed. In the end, I'd describe it as the suburbia of hot wings ... all the cost, none of the flavor. There was nothing cajun about their supposedly cajun fries, the bratwurst were lacking flavor and had an odd texture, and the habanero wings were sweet but had absolutely zero spice (and they're one spot shy of their spiciest offering). It could have been worse, but it was nothing close to expectations.

Second visit. Great wings and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend the garlic fries.

While living in Parker I discovered this place great fresh wings, friendly atmosphere. The owner Lou is great and very accomdating. Dispite being a Cowboys fan but don't hold that against him. Treat yourself and get the garlic fries and live on the wild side and try there different great tasting sauces. Golden flame and Colorado fancy are my favorites. Lou was great enough to treat me on last and final visit as a new job opportunity has me headed back to the east coast. But people of Parker continue to support this great wing place. When you see Lou tell him go Eagles as stomped his Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day.

Moving to the Denver area from ABQ has had me going on food adventures, one of them being Golden Flame. Pulled out my phone and booted up Google Maps and searched wings.... Ok Golden Flame pops up and was 2 miles away...so... I hopped in the car to give it a go. Seating area was small but very clean and nice. Service was good and the man ringing up my tab was very helpful. The reason I am giving it three stars is for the price. With a $1 tip (it was a to-go order) I ended up spending about $14.50. This price included 10 boneless wings, fries and a drink. I felt like the sauce choices were a little on the small side but I ended up getting Golden Flame and BBQ Blaze and both had good flavor. The Cajun fries were soggy and over seasoned so that was a let down. Also for 10 wings I only got 1 ranch cup (I'm sure he would have provided more if I asked but I didn't think of it until I got home). For $14.50 I can go to TX Roadhouse hand have a 8oz sirloin with all of the fixings and leave a tip. Overall not a bad experience and place to eat, just a little pricey for what you get in my book.

The wings here aren't bad, but they are a bit pricey for wings that are just not bad. The French fries are very good, they were just ruined by having to use Hunts ketchup, but they were solid. Our main complaint was the service. The girl was friendly, but it took about fifteen minutes to get 20 wings and fries. It wasn't busy, but the other 2 tables that were already sitting when we walked in still hadn't gotten their food yet either.

This is a great place! Every time I go in the ownership is absolutely wonderful and very friendly. I continue to recommend this place to others, because of the treatment I receive every time I come in. I absolutely love the goldsauce and will continue to tell people about this place!

Best wings I've had in Denver so far. Plenty big, very good sauce. Clean place to eat. Eat in or take out. Half a dozen tap handles. Owner is friendly and takes pride in the place. Go here.

We frequent here often as we enjoy wings and these are good ones. The staff is nice, the wings are always fresh, hot, and not soggy! The place is always nice and clean and fresh looking. The fresh cut fries are my favorite. Coupons always available and reasonably priced. Nice find in Parker.

  • Robert B.

Since this is the only place to get wings in Parker I have always purchased them here. The staff has always been friendly and they are quick. However, I just found out tonight they hiked their prices. I'll have to reconsider the next time I make a purchase. I can get wings in any surrounding area. You might want to reconsider this hike for any Super Bowl events. Also, prices should be going down now not up.

First time eating here and I wasn't disappointed. The crispness of the wings was prefect and the sauces had good flavor. I do wish they would have put a little more sauce on the wings tho. We also had the Cajun fries and they were awesome. Definitely a place I would visit again but still isn't my #1 wing joint.

Great wings. Asked for extra crispy and light sauce and that's exactly what I got. Haven't been there during a rush hour but service was good.

Love this place! Good food and great service. Don't wait until ten minutes before a game to order but otherwise these guys are spot on! They even know that I am gluten free when I go in and always take care of us!

Great food and great service! Family owned! The garlic wings and garlic fries are amazing! Then you can go next store for desert. Yogurt yummy!

Golden Flame is really only our real wing place in Parker. That said I would of rather drove 20 minutes and waited 30 minutes at BWW for some decent wings. The wings I ordered were their "Flaming" wings which weren't that hot even though they were 2 below their hottest wings. They were very overcooked and very over priced for 3 people. Without a tip our check was 35 for 1 adult and 2 kids. Next time I will go to Buffalo Wild Wings.

Awesome service and excellent wings! Doesn't get much better than this! Would love to see them deliver.

I went here knowing that wingman that had been the previous business was not very good. My wife is pregnant and wanted wings so I called in the order and she picked them up on her way home. Steroid Fatty wings is all I can say. I do not like big fatty wings they are gross especially when they are under cooked. This lady in the front tried giving me attitude when I brought back basically my full order and just wanted my money back. I later found out this was the owners wife. The owner was however really friendly about the whole experience. Also expensive for wings we will stick to piper and challengers or hooters. Still not a good place in parker for wings it's sad.

We tried the BBQ blaze and cool flicker. BBQ had very little heat for "medium" but was delicious. Cool flicker seemed to have more heat than " mild" but was better yet! Cool flicker has a garlic taste and is amazing! We also tried Cajun fries. Also, can't complain. Everything here is great!

Come here about once a week these days - never had a bad meal. Staff are super nice, food is good, selection is better and now that they have a liquor license, life is grand! Pro-tip - garlic fries are amazing, cool flicker wings are good too - and not too spicy. They have the Direct TV football package for Sunday's....

    (4)
  • Mike M.

Some of the best wings ever! I love coming here for everything between casual days and football games. The wings are consistently well cooked, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I have had most of their flavors, from sauces to rubs and have yet to bee disappointed. I saw many people complain about price but it's still cheaper than brand name wings places and way better! Sometimes the wait is a little long but my food always comes out hot and fresh so I'm fine waiting. The owner is also great about switching games around for customers when they ask. If you want wings there isn't a better place around!

  • Sean S.

Great hotwings! A good selection of sauces to choose from. All are very good. The wings are nice size with lots of meat bone/boneless. The French fries are great. They also have a good selection of beer. Place is clean and never busy but great place to bring family to dine in. Everything is cooked fresh so order takes some Time. So order ahead if getting take out. Been here 3 time and plan on returning again. Also another important thing for me is staff if very friendly and great customer service. They didn't forget about me even after I ordered.

These are some of my favorite wings in the Denver area. We hadn't been to this location yet, but it was just as good as the aurora location. The golden flame sauce is delicious. The wings are big. The service was very friendly. We would definitely go out of our way to eat here regularly.

  • Patricia G.

The wings are great. I like this place way better than BW3. I have only been here 2 times but so far so good. I have boycotted BW3 because the service is always horrible and honestly feel like the staff is a bit prejudice. This little restaurant in the Parker location is great! The only thing that I think they are missing is a few more flavors of wings. A solid 4 stars!

  • Lee S.

I have never been a huge fan of wings, but a friend suggested we stop by for lunch. I'm impressed. The wing are really good. The signature, Golden Flame, is the way to go. I totally like boneless wings, okay, I like using a fork, and they are really good. No beer yet as they are waiting for their liquor license, but I will go back.

    (4)
  • Chris A.

Really decent! Came here for lunch the other day and the portions are huge. Wings were crispy, and fries were good. Will definitely make this a lunch spot. Maybe wish they had more selection of sauces, but can't complain! Food took a little while to get out, but I don't mind if it's fresh!

I read a report regarding two previous employees stating the owner kept their tip. He stated "This is my livelihood" and he needed them to make a living. That's just messed up. Apparently there are other concerns.

I have searched for a long time to find wings this good. They just opened and I hope they are here to stay. The fries and fried mushrooms are good too. I see myself and my family eating here a lot.

Horrible. I ordered delivery -It took over an hour to get here ( which in all fairness they told me when I placed the order) But when I opened one of my containers of wings there were only two? How can you send two wings for an order? Oh well lesson learned I will never patronize them again

    (1)
  • Brian M.

Best wings I've had in Colorado. Nice selection of sauces. The Golden Flame sauce has a lot of flavor. Friendly and quick service. Wings cooked perfectly. Skip the fries as they are soggy and without much flavor.

I really love this place. It has been open long enough that they finally go the timing down. The owners are always friendly and the food is always made fresh. This is quickly becoming a family favorite!

Huh? Ok guys I am as guilty as the next Yelper of wanting to rate a place highly because of friendly business owners but based on my first experience here I'm not entirely sure what everyone is so crazy about. I got 1 order of 10 piece wings with their name sake sauce, The Golden Flame, which... if you are going to name a sauce after the place IMO it better the best damn sauce on your menu and I was not impressed. In fact, I've never been much of a sweet mixed with spicy kinda girl, so by the time I got to piece #8 it was a struggle to force myself to finish. Probably the only reason I did finish was that I paid $15 for 10 wings and 5 mozzarella sticks, which seems like a lot to me. The wait time for my order was also a bit surprising because I guess I always thought of wings as a "fast food" of sorts. I came here before when it was the old business and I have to say I prefer what was here before to this; I'm not sure if I would be willing to try again based on the price. My wings made my car smell funny on the way home (not in a good way) and when I finally sat down to start on them I wasn't sure if I was up for the challenge.

Gotta even the score guys...just the way it goes in the days of crowdsourcing and internet . . . preparation and customer service is a BIG DEAL. I worry about going back and what to expect. Like the wing flavors quite a bit and glad to have a decent wing spot in Parker again, but you underdelivered big time Super Bowl weekend. Not my fault you weren't ready for the rush. Ordered 3 hours early for pick up at 4 pm and when I arrived (45 minute round trip), was told I'd still have to wait another hour. No heads up by phone, no offer to make it right until I asked-- then I was finally offered a small "employee discount." Glad the cashier couldn't get the credit card machine to work (my card was fine) so I went elsewhere (PIzza Hut/Wing Street--not great wings but okay for a back up) and can't say I enjoyed missing the 1st half of the game (this is one I wanted to watch live). Hope you get it right, was really starting to talk you up . . . good luck.

Tried the volcano and the the fancy. They were great! The volcano could be a little hotter. I will go back !!!

    (4)
  • Sid B.

The wings were small. I had the garlic wings and there was no garlic flavor at all. The frys were limp and contained lots of small pieces that were not edible. Not worth the money

  • Colton F.

Great wings and even better service. The manager was inviting as well as kind enough to bring drinks to our table. It is priced well and I will be returning soon. Highly recommended!

  • Patrick D.

I've been a few times now. There's a lack of locally-owned wings spots around, so I don't mind driving from HR to visit. I get the boneless wings; they're generally large and pretty tasty. The sauces I've tried are on the upper end of the scale, but I haven't felt like any of them are actually spicy yet. I'll go for the hottest on my next visit, I guess. This place is spendy; a 15 wings combo (comes with a gigantic order of fries and one drink) is like $16+. They do have smaller sets for smaller money, which is probably enough for most people.

    (3)
  • Matthew M.

Wasn't bad, wasn't good. Fries need salt, but are good. Wings are meaty, but need more flavor. I have only had it to go, so I will update my review once I eat in and get the full experience. Better wings than any of the pizza chains though.

Golden Flame is my favorite home grown wings place. We generally hit up the Aurora location next to Movie Tavern, but were in Parker one night and decided try this new branch. Wow, what an upgrade from the original. Lots of booths, bright paint, lots of jerseys and other sports memorabilia and just a nice casual atmosphere. The dine-in experience here is far superior to their other location. The food, I am happy to say, is just as tasty. I love the golden flame sweet/hot sauce and their garlic fries. Plus this location has a few more options of what is on tap. My only knock is that we sat and waited for our order for well over a half hour. I don't remember ever having to wait for more than 15 minutes at the other location - and they have just as many take out orders. They seem to need a better system if you are dining in. Still, the wings are crisp and well sauced and the fries are fresh cut and garlicky. I love it! Highly recommend.

  • Jason J.

We love the original Aurora location and have meant to come here for forever, and finally made it over here at 6 on a Thursday. They were absolutely packed and people kept coming in to get takeout. They really only lose a star because I'm pretty sure it took 30-40 minutes to get our 20 wings. People kept coming in and getting their takeout orders, which makes me think they were getting their wings in with priority over the diners. That's not really cool at all, but I'm going to chalk it up to football traffic and hope that's not normal. The wings were excellent. Just as good as at the original Gold Flame. And the dine-in area was at least double the size, if not triple. Which was excellent, too! We'll definitely be back!

  • Henry H.

Great tasting wings, size of wings are large and price is a little above average but we'll worth it! Owners are so friendly and they offer military discount I eat there once a week more often I'd my diet permitted me.

    (5)
  • John S.

Delicious wings, we usually get Golden Flame and the BBQ. The staff are always very polite and efficient, we have nothing but success when we eat her or get take out. We have also started taking these wings to party's we go to as our appetizer, always a big hit.

  • Dan C.

I've refined my order since they first opened. 10 piece meal, flaming wings, traditional, with garlic fries. The service is great, the family that runs it is dedicated, and it's close to my house, which is always a plus!

    (5)
  • Eleanor T.

Seriously the best wings I've ever had. The wings are big and juicy (or you can get them extra crispy) and they don't skimp on the sauce. I love the golden flame sauce as well as the "mile high" seasoning on the fries! Golden flame is significantly better than Buffalo Wild Wings. Love love love golden flame!

    (5)
  • James H.

Golden Flame might just be the only wings place in Parker, but they don't disappoint. My last trip here was right before a Broncos game this past season. I had a feeling it was going to be crowded but when i was told it would be 45 minutes after standing in line for 10 minutes to place my order that almost set me off, but I stuck with them. I'm glad I did! Sitting inside the restaurant waiting for wings I noticed how VERY clean the place is. A nice offering of TV's for the early game that was on with a mix of fans and a video game in the back to keep the kids occupied. They did have beer on tap, which made the wait a little more bearable. Now I didn't eat my wings at the restaurant, rather took them home for the game and WOW they were awesome. I ordered a dozen lemon pepper and a dozen sweet and sour for the kiddo. My 5 year old is a wing junkie like her dad and needless to say her grilled cheese didn't get touched! This girl was in heaven and I was right there with her. Perfectly seasoned, cooked with a little crispy crunch to them and I was hooked. So the prices are a little bit higher than BWW, but Golden Flame saves me a trip to the Park Meadows area and for that I am a happy man. Word is they have coupons out in the Parker Spotlight or some other coupon book. I'll keep my eye out for those and will definitely be back!
