I was really all about this place when I first moved to Highlands Ranch but over time I have realized that their food is so hit or miss! The sushi in particular could be amazing one time and crap the next, missing ingredients and OLD meat. I in particular love their surf/turf roll with steak but the meat sometimes is pure grissle and fat. I mean, you can't eat it... its not that cheap either. I don't expect top quality but at least actual steak and not fat. Until they get more consistent, I will not be back.

Horrible management, I came in at 8:20 on a a Thursday and they refused service. I guess they Make enough money during lunch hours to refuse customers. Will not be going back or recommending this location.

Excellent staff. They are super friendly, always have a smile on their face and welcome you in! I have never had a bad meal or customer service here and my husband and I eat here all least once a week, what can I say we love it!!!

Rice was pasty. Order came out wrong. Usually a fan of this place for healthy quick service food however lately they have gone downhill. If you want clean this is not the place. Don't dare look at the tv as you order. Inch thick of dust. Portion size has shrunk. Employees are more interested in hanging out than working. One was on their cell phone and when another customer complained of no towels in rest room, She was dismissed and no went to fill them. This place is like the hot topic of quick service. I won't be back.... Ever.

Service was a little slow, but the food was well worth the wait! Tried several kinds of sushi, a chicken bowl, and a veggie bowl with two friends. We were all extremely satisfied.

This Tokyo Joe's is close to the area middle school and high school so my kids are hooked. (There are certainly worse chains to have your kids craving!) Anyway, I have enjoyed a few nice lunches here with yummy vegetable and sauce options for my chicken & brown rice bowl. I like the kick in the spicyaki sauce. It is fast, flavorful and relatively healthy. ***Don't forget to get a punch card as you will earn occasional free bowls if you are a frequent diner!

Sadly, I have to boycott Tonto Joe's...which is a shame because I liked the sushi rolls. My soon and I went in on a week night month or so ago. They told us we had to wait over 50 minutes for the food. My son was starving, so I asked for a complimentary cup of miso soup, given the inconvenience...the guy who always works there said no way. I don't know his name but he looks exactly like Andy Dick. The cashier girl told me we should go to John Holly's and that they had way better sushi, anyhow. I couldn't believe.an employee would say such a thing! We decided to cancel our order and we did end up going to John Holly's. I meant to call a manager, but never got around to it..but when a restaurant refuses to give a hungry kid a little cheap soup, after such a huge inconvenience...I don't give them any more of my money. Adios, Tokyo.Joe's.

My go to meals here are the spring rolls with either chicken or tofu. Love the peanut dipping sauce. An order of the spring rolls and an iced tea is a perfect light inexpensive lunch. If I'm extra hungry ill get the Bolder Bowl with tofu and a side of the yellow curry and peanut sauce. I can never decide which I like better. Friendly staff.

All of what I ordered was inedible for various reasons. I ordered the springrolls with tofu and got them with chicken - thus inedible for me (I don't eat chicken). I also ordered the peanut sauce to go with those and what I got was some sort of ginger sauce. I ordered the crab wonton roll and the cali roll. When I opened them up, the smell hit me like a brick!! It was either the smell of ammonia (which is what crab smells like when it goes bad) or a strong cleaning type of chemical. I don't know what that smell was, but there was no way I was going to risk food poisoning. I questioned even eating there after I walked in and looked around because the place was filthy, but I needed take out in a hurry, so decided to let the food speak for itself (which, boy did it, but NOT in a good way!!). The tables were filthy, the floors were strewn with food and debris, and the soda machine looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a LONG time. $11+ down the drain, but at least I won't be getting sick. I'm new to the area, so this was my first time at a Tokyo Joes, and I'm pretty darn sure it will be my last!

So I went here when I was visiting my friend in Denver. I have to say, I was actually impressed with the place. We both got the Joe's Lettuce Wraps. It was actually very good. I like the Bibb lettuce compared to the iceberg lettuce you get at Pei Wei in austin. The chicken was nicely cooked, nothing fatty and gross. I love the combination of stuff they give you, avocado, sprouts and peppers. You don't get that in lettuce wraps in austin. The only thing we didn't like, was the sushi special they have on certain days. The cashier said it takes 30min to make your sushi. I really want to try two special roles they had, but we were on a time limit and couldn't wait 30min. I don't understand why it takes that long. I've eaten plenty of sushi before, at upscale places, and they don't take 30min to make! They need to change that!

Tokyo Joe's is one of those places I go if I want a particular dish - brown rice, white chicken, broccoli and spicyaki sauce. I have tried a ton of other stuff and that is all I really like there, but when I am in the mood for it I love to pop in and get a big ole bowl! This location is off Quebec and University (where it turns into Lincoln). The parking lot is kinda small and awkward. It is one of those shops that they built and then kept building over the years and never really expanded the lots to accommodate the new stores. This really only comes into play at lunch time - which can be a mad house. Otherwise it is just fine. Clean, lots of booths and relatively quick service.

The people that work here are consistently friendly and courteous. We always receive exceptional service, and the food is good and fast. It's our family's favorite fast casual dining in the Ranch.

I am giving this Tokyo Joe's only 2 stars because the service was so horrible but food the is good. I really wanted to give only 1 but that is just unreasonable. I love getting a bowl w/ the RICE noodles, chicken, water chestnuts, edamame, Oyako sauce (broth) and crushed peanuts. YUM. I called my order in when I was about 15 minutes away. Once I got there, I added 1 order of california rolls to my order and I waited 40 minutes! I asked the younger blue haired girl if they had fried rice and she said in a snotty voice, "We only have healthy food here". Umm, seriously? She needs a class in etiquette. Even if you think fried rice is unhealthy, keep that to yourself when you are working in the service industry. Maybe that's why she has a career at a food chain. We have been here a few more times because the food is good, HEALTHY and near our house. That blue haired girl still works there and she is rude every time! The rest of the staff is very nice, I must say but I hope the manager realizes that there is a bad seed working there.

What did you do to the Salmon bowl? More like a dried out piece of Salmon jerky. Hardly edible and not worth the 8+ dollars. Please change it back to a decent piece of fish more than .25 inch thick!

I love this Tokyo Joe's, just be aware that the service is not lightning fast like the joes on 16th.

I like Toyko Joe's for the strength of their menu. There are many favorites. Without sacrificing taste, it's a option that feels much healthier than most places.

Tokyo Joe's is a great place to get good, healthy food at a great price. They serve both carnivores and vegetarians very well and they do it with fresh, delicious food. I've been a fan of Tokyo Joe's for many years now and I have yet to have had bad customer service or sub-par food. This is one of my go-to place for a quick and healthy meal. One of my favorites? The Boulder Veggie Bowl. Tofu, fresh veggies, brown rice and spicy-aki sauce (a variety of sauces are available). Mmmmmm, mmmmm and mmmm.
