Underwhelming lunch buffet. We went when it first opened for dinner and everything was great, so we were surprised at the under-spiced boring lunch, with no Indian rice pudding:(. We were the only customers in the restaurant both times for lunch. We love Indian food and this is less than 2 miles from our home, but we won't be back. Even the chai was under-spiced and lifeless. I didn't think that was possible. Very disappointing, as the next closest Indian restaurant is quite a drive (but worth it).

My husband and I have never had indian food before, we were delightfully surprised at how delicious it was at the lunch buffet. Great service, great atmosphere, and amazing food! I highly recommend this place!

I visited during lunch and tried the buffet. The selections were limited and the food was not as hot as I like it. The experience might have been better if I had ordered off the menu.

Had dinner recently and loved it. All our dishes had great flavor and the service was kind and attentive. I ordered my dish medium and it definitely had some heat. If you live in the neighborhood, stop in so we keep this gem going!

i have been here multiple times and always wonder why it is not packed! Dinner is ver reasonable...under $30 for too, with wine might be more. The tikki masala is to die for and the staff is always pleasant. The lunch buffet is a lunch buffet. Good food but all mild for the masses. Its a good deal, qquick, and flavorful for lunch. I really recommend this as a dinner place. They also do carry out!

I've only been here once for dinner on a weeknight. I really wanted this place to be awesome as it is closer than India's Castle or India Oven to me which are my normal go-to spots for Indian. Don't get me wrong the food here is awesome and on par with the above. However the dining experience overall was a lackluster experience. The place was completely empty which I am normally fine with. However our waitress made it incredibly awkward. Every time she came over she would say excuse me and stand there waiting until we had stopped our conversation and focused on her. This happened every time she came to our table whether it was to ask for a refill or for dropping off food. It was all very strange and detracted from the overall experience. If there was a normal service while we were eating there the place easily would have gotten 4-5 stars. I am open to coming back and plan on giving it a second shot some time soon.

My wife and I had dinner here last night and really enjoyed it. Our server was prompt, friendly and always seemed to be there if we needed. The food was amazing...probably some of the best we've had (we used to live in Chicago and ate a few times in the East Indian neighborhood, which was very good, but had nothing over this place). We also thought prices weren't bad given the amount of food. I would agree with other reviewers that the decor is a bit dated, but given a choice I'd rather have great food/service instead.

We were surprised at how well the service and food was! Our server was friendly and helpful, he explained the menu and gave us suggestions. For an appetizer we had the pakora masala, shared the chicken tikka saag with an order of naan. It was delish! We will definitely be returning.

Just so-so, there are definitely better Indian restaurants in the Denver area which is not known for having good Indian restaurants anyway. Service was friendly, but extremely slow even though the restaurant wasn't crowded. We would definitely not return.

Wanted to update to say they've made it really nice inside--cool Indian decor and perfect lighting. Also, the TVs have been off, making the atmosphere even nicer. We love this place!!

we love indian food!! we noticed india's best while driving by and decided to try it. we were not at all disappointed. honestly, i think it's much, much better than the "other indian place" we usually go to. Nathan was an incredible server and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We like it a bit spicy and the chef certainly delivered! I highly recommend korma and butter chicken.

  • Amanda D.

Wonderful food and amazing service! Two things that we haven't yet found at any Indian restaurants in the area. We had the chicken madras and lamb curry- both amazing! Can't wait to go back and try more! We never had to wait for refills, more rice, etc- the staff was so attentive and friendly. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is the atmosphere... while it is very comfortable and relaxed, I would love to see more indian decor.

We tried India's Best for the first time, so e played it safe. We tried the Chicken Korma and Butter Chicken. Both were very good. My wife asked for mild, so the depth of flavor wasn't there, but that's because of how she ordered it. The chicken was very moist and flavorful. Try the samosas.

Excellent Indian food in Littleton. Having been spoiled by the excptional Indian cuisine back East, it's been tough to find the equivalent out here. This is the real deal, spicy, flavorful, and authentic. Not the best atmosphere, but ignore the drab decor & enjoy. Highly recommended.

Absolutely the best Indian food in town and a contender for the best any kind of food!! This place is awesome!! If you love Indian food you must go here, if you don't like Indian food you REALLY MUST go here. Only my mom can make Indian food like this - and she LIVED there. And as a bonus, the prices are really great - always surprised at how small the bill is for what we got. Please go check this place out, you will glad you did.

I really liked this buffet. The samosas were great. The naan was good, brought hot to the table. My wife had plenty of vegetarian options. I got tandoori chicken, chicken curry and buttered chicken. I think it was only 7.95 and free for kids under 6. Hard to beat all that.

One of the best Indian places in town. Simply delicious. Dinner was a tad pricey but I can't wait to hit up the Lunch buffet. I hope they do well!! Go there, you'll love it. PS. my review should count twice because I'm indian myself and a hardcore critic. This place is GREAT

Hurray! A fantastic Indian Restraunt in Littleton. Very rich well rounded flavorful dishes make you feel like you were in someone's kitchen having a great family meal. Even my picky kids were going back for second helpings. They really liked the chicken Korma and saag paneer. yummy if you want Indian.. This is the place to go.

If you've missed having an Indian restaurant in Littleton, as I have, please visit this place soon before we lose it due to lack of business! I've been here twice and the service and food were excellent. Vegetable samosas, chicken korma, naan and aloo gobi were all first rate. Sure, the interior is mostly leftover from the last crummy eatery, but the food and friendly servers make up for it.

  • martha l.

A word of caution: Although they have a full bar you are not welcome before "dinner" service. When they can turn away business because they aren't open yet, am thinking they will wonder why they have no walk-in trade and people forget them.

What I don't get about this place is why it is never super busy when I'm there! It's so good! I have not been there for dinner, lunch buffet only, but I have enjoyed it every time. The Naan bread is absolutely delicious! And you get as much as you want with the buffet. Please people, figure out how good this place is and start going because I would be really sad if it closes!!

Salty samosas. Still better than the service. Lamb was quite tough too. Garlic Naan: tasty. "India's best" is a stretch. Not even Denver's. Haiku review.

India's Best is a hidden treasure at the Woodlawn shopping center. Not only do the have lentils, saag and shrimp curry at the buffet - but they also have free delivery. It's becoming more popular here. The fresh vegetables are also a nice touch.

After a long day of backpacking, Indian food sounded great. We decided to try this place and were excited when a half off coupon popped up when we ordered. Ordering was easy and they called to confirm my order which I appreciated. However when we got there, we got another pop up for instant 15% off with check in. When I went in, the lady tapped the 'mark as redeemed button' before I could ask her about the other coupon. Well she then tapped it again on the half off coupon and then said she couldn't accept it bc she'd already done the 15% off. I explained that if we could only use the 1 coupon, then we wanted the half off (duh) and she said we could use it next time. I explained that I didn't live here and that I wouldn't be back and would just like to use the coupon I'd planned on. She started to protest, but then a gentleman came up and said that he could do it, but of course we lost out on the 15% off anywhere coupon bc she'd already redeemed it. Ok, so onto the food. It looked and smelled wonderful and the Saag Paneer was excellent!!! I'm a veg so I didn't try the chicken in the Korma, but the Korma sauce was also superb. However, a friend said that the chicken itself wasn't cooked well and fairly underdone. The raita and naan were very good as well. We were able to eat left-overs (except the chicken pieces) on the single portions we'd ordered which was great but realized that the raita had turned. I don't know whether the garlic, lemon & spices in the raita change the yogurt in the same way lemon changes fish, but the raita had become tingly to the tongue and the plastic container had started to swell. So overall, I think the food is solid, however maybe ask for the chicken to be cooked well. And then don't plan on munching on raita for leftovers, but otherwise a good choice for Indian food. Just be cautious if trying to use coupon or Yelp.

We were excited to find out there was an Indian restaurant close to home. However, we quickly learned that 'Indian' is a loose interpretation. There is no way our food was cooked in a tandoori. The meats were frozen pre-cooked cubes warmed with sauce from a jar poured over it. The naan was burned and raw at the same time. Despite ordering our meals at different heat levels nothing was spiced...again, sauce from a jar. There was one server doing almost everything while everyone else stood around doing nothing. A couple that came in after we ordered had their food before we had appetizers. A couple asked to have a seat at the bar waited over 30 minutes for food that was supposed to be ready for pick up when they arrived. Also, We watched server remake food for a table several times until the customers decided just to leave. Before we left another table had their bill comped 50%. We did not get the drinks we ordered and despite the busser standing behind us, we left with not a single dish removed from our table. This busser also tried to seat a customer at an un-bussed table and rudely told him he could sit where he wished. On the ride home my dinner companion stated it well by saying "I have an after taste of dish soap in my mouth.

Good Indian food is not easy to find in or around Denver... This charming spot tops my list for quality Indian! After reading the reviews, I had to give it a try and it was well worth the visit. Our server was Krishna-- always a good sign when the Indian server has a name modeled after a supreme being in the Hindu traditions... From start to finish the service was prompt, friendly, and gracious. It was a quiet Monday night, so I am hopeful that excellent service will translate to prime time dining. The food-- again, Denver is not a hub of gourmet Asian cuisine so let me preface by saying we had a delish meal and will be back again. We ordered Somosas, Garlic Naan, Rice, Chicken Tikamasala, Alou Saag, and a Lamb dish from their specialities (matar). Each was pleasantly flavorful and rich in spice. The meat was tender and fresh. For my tastes I would have preferred more heat and spice, as well as salt to add to the richness of flavors. The food was satisfying and plentiful. We left full, happy, and with leftovers for a feast of a lunch. Like most smaller restaurants the wine list and spirit offering are lacking if your palette calls for more craft and allocated wines, but at least they offer some drinks... We will be back and I recommend you try it too. Look for Krishna and you'll be sure to receive caring service.

I feel bad that I was obliged to check in this place to save like a buck. The food was not impressive at all. The buffet was not even full. As a vegetarian there were nothing for me to eat beside saag paneer and salad. Food was not ready when they opened. The only up side is that their service was good - still don't make up for the disappointment in food. Will not come back until the quality is improved. Tip: groupon does not work when you can work on your food.

I am so torn! Food is yummy, but overpriced. Tip: Never go for the tender lamb unless you want to lose a tooth. Tender must mean tough as hell at India's Best. Plus, the service is simply terrible, but it's so convenient to get to. Sigh*

I have been to this place for lunch numerous times and I am happy that there is an Indian restaurant near downtown Littleton. I have never ordered from the menu, as I always get the buffet. It seems to be getting more business lately, which is a good sign. The lunch buffet price is a good deal. The food can be quite good at times, and just ok at other times. I have tried to determine if the inconsistency was due to timing around the lunch hour, but have not found a pattern. I suspect there may be different chefs working. Also, the buffet menu changes frequently. There are some days that I can only find one of two items I like. The saag paneer is one of my favorite dishes and it is always available. Same with the tandoori chicken. Overall the food is good enough that I will continue to come here for lunch when I am in an Indian food mood, mainly because of the location. The atmosphere is ok. The dining room is a bit dated and doesn't have as much lighting as I would prefer, especially in the booths to the left (where I prefer to sit). While everything appears clean, I get the feeling the whole place needs a good dusting. Today is was 90 degrees outside, and it felt cooler on the patio area than it did inside. There was no air movement. Not sure if they were trying to save energy, or if the air conditioning was broken. After mentioning it to our server, I heard the air kick on and begin to feel some air movement. This was the first time it has happened, so I am letting it slide. The staff are always pleasant and take care of all requests. They are not always aware of the need for refills, so you may have to get their attention. In summary, this is a nice, convenient Indian Restaurant in the downtown Littleton area. I would be inclined to give them 4 stars if they would just get more consistent with their lunch buffet menu (both selection and quality).

I once had a hot skinny girlfriend. Til one day, we discovered India's Best Restaurant and Bar. We fell in love with this place. We became regulars and came here at least once a week, then twice, then we found out they offer free delivery. We started to order in all the time. She even ordered in for our last Valentine dinner.. Our favs were: 1. Tandori Chicken Wings -grilled wings marinated with ginger and garlic on a bedding of caramelized onions. They are definitely some of the best wings in town. Her only complain was that it doesn't come in entree size. So we started ordering 3 at the time. 2. Combo Saag - She swore it was the best saag she ever had and I swore this is the only place she ever gotten saag. Good size for the price. It comes with basmati rice, but no roti/bread. 3. Fish Curry - My second favorite to the Singaporean or Thai fish curry dish. The fish is very tasty with slight sweetness, and the curry is mouth watering authentic -- reminding you of that hot, smelly, open market of Crawford market in Mumbai. Man, life was good. Until one day she realized her spanx had shrank a couple size (not really). She became very moody, angry at the world as everything shrunk around her. Practically things changed overnight. It was like dating a menopausal 25 year old. So nowadays I come here alone-- still teetering from the worst relationship ever!!! Anyway, good service, great service, best Indian food.

We ate at India's Best last evening for two reasons - we had a restaurant.com dining certificate, and also because most of the reviews were good. Now I wish we had just gone somewhere else that we know is good. When we arrived, there were only 2 other tables filled, even though it was 6pm on a Friday evening. The decor was extremely dated, but that can quickly be overlooked when the food is the star of the night! The wait staff were lovely, seated us quickly and took our drink orders. The menu looked good, and we ordered several dishes so we could try a few things and have enough to take home for another meal. That ended up not being the case.... The chai was adequate, but was served lukewarm and we had to ask that they heat it up for us. Our order consisted of Tandoori Mixed Grill, Lamb Bhuna, Saag Paneer and Garlic Naan. On first impression,The Tandoori looked beautiful when it was presented and the chicken, and peppers and onions were great. However, the lamb, shrimp (one small shrimp!) and fish were practically inedible. They were terribly overcooked, completely dry. Almost like they had been left in the tandoor and forgotten. There was a strange ratio of proteins, as well. 3 small pieces of lamb, the one, lonesome sad, shrimp, a small chicken leg and thigh, and 4 large (at least 4 oz each) chunks of the inedible, dry-as-a-bone fish. The lamb bhuna was a goppy mess of chewy, undercooked! lamb and vegetables in an almost gelatinous, brown mess of a sauce. The paneer cheese in the saag had the texture of a rubber ball, instead of the silky, sumptuous texture I'm accustomed to eating and was expecting, and was completely bland and tasteless. The saag itself was a dark, brownish-green color and fibrous. It was poorly seasoned, as well. So, what we ended up with was an ugly, fibrous dish of spinach with rubbery squares of paneer. I am a saag lover, and this was a poor imitation of that fresh, vibrant, silky stuff with an undernote of lovely Indian flavors like onion, ginger, garlic, coriander, cumin, serrano pepper, that I expected. The garlic naan was lacking any garlic taste, and was thin and crispy, with none of the luxurious breadiness that I've come to crave and expect from a well-executed naan. At the end, we had a large, sad amount of food left over and wanted none of it to take home for another meal. On a positive note, the staff was kind and receptive to our feedback. That is the only reason I honored them with even one star. Barring a major overhaul of the kitchen and sadly, yes....the chef and his recipes, I don't see any way for India's Best to succeed. I, for one, will never return.

Old tasting wings and SLOW delivery! This is our first time ordering from here. It took nearly 2 hrs to get our food. I called to check on our order and the lady was not very professional or apologetic. The delivery person called and stated it late was because they were delivering to two other places outside there normal delivery range. My question is shouldn't they deliver to me first? I'm 1 mile away from them! Our food was cold. The wings we ordered tasted like they were made yesterday, and tasted nothing like they were cooked in the clay oven. Our other entrees tasted like they came from tandoori chef in the frozen food isle.

We ordered delivery from this establishment for the first time today and were extremely happy with the quality and flavors. The items we ordered were Punjabi Samosa, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Curry, and Garlic Naan. We enjoyed all of it. We are definitely going to be repeat customers.

The food at India's Best Restaurant was mildly acceptable and has unfortunately gone downhill as of late. The lunch buffet is entirely hopeless if you show up past 12:45 since the food seems to be left out for too long. The restaurant itself seems outdated, old, and poorly cleaned. The delivery service is the main issue. The past three times I've ordered delivery it's been screwed up. First, the delivery driver took well over an hour and a half before calling me to tell me he's lost (I live 5 minutes from the restaurant). Second, I had two items missing from my order (there were 5 items total...). My last attempt to order delivery utterly failed. After being told my order would arrive in 30 minutes I get a call 45 minutes later saying, "uh, I need your credit card again" and was then told, "Yeah, it'll be there in half an hour or so". Well, an hour later I was still waiting. At least the local pizza place still knows how to deliver and the food is consistent...

Absolutely love India's Best! The food is so delicious and the veggies taste so fresh. And not greasy like some places we've tried. Atmosphere is nice and never too crowded. It's nice having at least a few good dining options on this side of town... Truly a great neighborhood gem and a good all-around value!

Alas! Once our favorite Indian spot, under new management and beyond disappointing. They have changed the decor and added new lighting, which are both nice. Food slightly less tasty than before, but not awful. The worst part: slow, inattentive service. 10+ minutes to even get water after sitting down. 40 minutes between appetizer and main course's arrival, and restaurant only half full. I nearly ate my own arm. Time to find a new fave.

I recently moved within walking distance of this place, and have now gone 4-5 times. I love Indian, have tried many places around greater Metro area, and this one ranks high up on my list for good, reliable, Indian food. Never judge Indian by the buffet, as one reviewer said. You gets lots of food cheap, and you can't make everyone happy. Order from the menu. We have tried the Shrimp curry, Saag paneer with lamb and with chicken, chicken tikka masala. Last night, we ordered the tandori chicken wings. YUM. They take awhile, as they are cooked fresh, but worth the wait: they arrived slightly crispy, super flavorful, and on a bed of warm soft onions and green peppers. I don't love wings, and I would go back JUST to get these. I crave the Chicken tikka masala, which is what I order almost everywhere I go. I will go back here JUST to get this dish. The spices are perfect, it is creamy, and lots of chicken. The Saag is good, too: creamy, spiced just right. Naan here is as you want it- warm, brushed with ghee. YUM. Experiment and try the cheese and pea stuffed naan- it was amazing. Order medium hot and almost any palette will be happy. Mild + is also good if you aren't into any heat. I am really happy to have this place nearby and it is my go to place for Indian. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We went to India's Best with high expectations because of all of the good things that we had heard. The ambience and décor is very nice. The servers were not very good and didn't seem to be well informed about the menu and were not attentive. We had a bizarre thing happen that wasn't their fault. The bottom of my wife's beer glass just fell off while she was taking a drink spilling her beer and glass into her food. We had to go get a waiter and then we had to ask to move to another table since ours was soaked and no one helped us. We then had to ask them to bring us another plate of food and beer. They were clueless on what they should be doing to make a bad situation right. We thought the food was very good and flavorful. They just need to get some happy and helpful servers in there.

The best Indian restaurant I've found in the south Denver area! I had muligah soup which was tasty and had plenty of chicken. The aloo sag was creamer than I like but still good. I'll be back.

So sad! I love this place, and tried there delivery. Online ordering was simple ... Getting my food was NOT! I HAVE BEEN WAITING 2 hours for my food!!!!!!!! They close in 7mins and I'm hoping I don't get scammed out of no food.... With it being 10 in littleton on a Monday night I don't know if anyone else will deliver. Fully plan on going in this week to make formal complaint, the order had already been charged to my credit card or I might have just canceled. Seriously disappointed and HUNGRY!!!!!!!

Food and service were both good. Wine and beer selection limited, but it's a small little neighborhood restaurant. Waitress didn't speak or understand English very well, but we got it figured out! We'll eat there again.

Short review here: Solid Indian food, average service. We got the sense that our waiter wasn't being lazy or neglectful, but rather just not trying to bug us too much. Still , he could have checked in for things like water refills more often, and we ended up having to get up and ask a bartender for the check. There is no doubt that everything about this place is well intentioned, including the oftentimes slow service, which is why we gave it 4 stars.

I've ate a lot of Indian. Seattle, LA, Las Vegas and at home. Unfortunately we will not be sharing anything goood about Indians Best. Our ordered as made on Eat/24 Onion Bhaji 1 $5.00 Jaipuri Samosa 1 $6.99 Tandoori Mixed Grill 1 $18.99 Instructions: No Shrimp please - lamb sub preferred Chicken Vindaloo 1 $13.99 Jasmine Basmati Rice 1 $2.25 Cheese Naan 1 $2.99 Kheer 1 $ 4.00 Ok so first we left instructions no shrimp. We opened the Grill box (all wrapped in Styrofoam boxes and a double layer of saran wrap... not a huge deal but definitely a reason for at least a half star loss) we where blasted with the smell of fish. I included a picture - what we got where two peices of chicken chunks, two lamb chunks, two minced lamb pieces, two FISH steaks, two SHRIMP and two WINGS of chicken. Seriously he hates fish with a passion. I took a shrimp and tried it before getting him to try a bite. I don't really like shrimp either but I do have to say they where decent and deviened properly ... he mustard through a taste. Neither of us where expecting the FISH steaks ... we thought they where chicken when we split one and took a bite. Thanks a lot Best India our meal at the point ( a 70$ one btw) was completely RUINED. I know fish and I like good/fresh fish when I CHOOSE to eat it. Best India must think the fish to be a main part of the mixed grill ... they even include a lemon wedge. Yet nowhere in the menu makes mention of fish sticks and chicken WINGS. We did ask for no shrimp ... what if we where allergic? The meats that we wanted - the chicken chunks, minced lamb and lamb where pretty decent. For the price though they fell short too. The sauces that accompanied where definitely needed but as well tasted pretty bland (mint/tamarind). The Chicken Vindaloo I ordered at request of my Husband and thinking we would have lunch for tomorrow. Good quality but as with all their dishes. .. absolutely ZERO flavor. This dish claims to be fiery hot ... it had a warmth of a mild curry... medium going by mall food standards. I liked the Onion Bhaji because it's gluten free *I hope lol* but it's only flavor left after the first bite is straight table salt. Jaipuri Samosa - awful hard triangles with vegetable paste. Again garnished with salt AND served on top of cabbage so by the time you get them their soggy (saran wrapped styrofom) and the green garnish is a disgustingly slimy glob under each piece. Jasmine Basmati Rice 1 $2.25 (actually good deal - I could see us ordering just rice and soup for pick up) Cheese Naan 1 $2.99 (I hoped for white cheese or a mixture as stated Im pretty sure it's just cheddar but not that bad for Naan) Kheer - ugh I'll continue going to the better quality buffets in Aurora and downtown for this fix. Awful consistency and seriously short on fixings. Plus it was 4.00$! I expected at LEAST double the amount. So India Best - as I wrote this review your rating from me went down from three stars to one. Price for quantity - Not following requests - Delivery and packaging about half a - each Lack of flavor and left over sustainability - When the food was delivered ... The driver called me and seriously said I would have to come outside down to the street. He waited by his car even when he seen me ... we have food delivered ALL the time and not once has a delivery person NOT brought it to our door. Next time I'll remember to cash tip and not add to the bill prehand. SERIOUSLY?! Not near as good of quality/quanity for the price! Completely dissapointed. An idea though ... gluten free Naan :) We may stop in for lunch sometime but we won't depend on Indias Best for a regular dinner delivery.

Decent food but TERRIBLE service. We ordered takeout and were told over the phone that our food would take 20 minutes to be ready. 20 minutes later we showed up to pick up our food and were told it would be a little longer (as the woman in front of us walked out because her food still wasn't ready). Another 20 minutes later we went to ask about our food and the girl in the front had no idea what we were talking about. We showed her our receipt (if we hadn't already paid we would have walked out) and she went into the back for 10 minutes then came out with our bag of luke warm food that had clearly been sitting around for ages as the front of the house staff wandered around in search of their brains. We won't be back.

buffet was ok. vegetarian options weren't overwhelming. spice level was pretty middle of the road. the space has a weird sort of irish bar feel to it in a strip mall. we were the only people in here the entire time we ate - nobody came in, no take out orders and this was during lunch time. weird.

Ever since we found out about India's Best, we've tried really hard to like it. It's the only Indian restaurant in our immediate neighborhood. That said, our last experience there was just bad enough that I had to tell Yelp about it. First of all, the papadum was burnt around the edges. Then it took 30-40 minutes for our entrees to come out. During that time, our water glasses sat empty for several minutes on end because the servers were not very attentive. The food itself was actually very delicious. Not 5-star Indian cuisine, perhaps, but tasty and homey. During the meal, we ran out of rice. We sat for about 10 minutes before my husband had to take the dishes over to the kitchen to ask for more. While we were eating, our waiter was cleaning the bathrooms, which was disgusting for two reasons. Firstly, the smell of the cleaning products was off-putting and detracted from being able to enjoy our food; and secondly, this is the guy who was supposed to be handling my food and drinks. With his hands. The same hands that had just been in cleaning chemicals and bathroom germs. Seriously disgusting. Our waiter seemed to be the only one who was working. He was waiting on tables inside the restaurant (where we were) and out on the patio. There was also a bartender whom I didn't see do anything all night, and a hostess/waitress who was on her iPhone most of the evening - including while our waiter was cleaning. Why couldn't she do the cleaning so our waiter could actually give us some service? Overall, the food has been good enough to keep us coming back, but after the awful service of our last visit, we may start looking for another go-to Indian place.

Pretty tasty. The lamb korma is very good. I've only had it once before, and I preferred the other one, but I'd order this one again in a heartbeat. So rich and flavorful. Sadly, I had never had a saag paneer I didn't like until now. I'm not sure how it happened. It's bland and tastes a little burned. For the price, I wish there was more, but that's typical of most of the Indian places I've been in Colorado. The delivery guy was super nice.

I've only ever ordered India's Best's food for delivery and it is good! This is the only place I've ever eaten Indian food from though.

INDIA'S WORST SERVICE - I have eaten at this restaurant twice previously, and I have found the food to be generally quite good. However, after placing an order for pickup today, we received the worst service I have ever encountered from a restaurant. We placed a simple order for three standard menu items plus naan, and were advised to arrive in 40-45 minutes for pickup. We arrived at 50 minutes, and were told it would be another 20 minutes. We were not offered a seat (they claimed to be "totally slammed," but there were plenty of empty tables available), water, a samosa- anything during the wait. Not cool, but not outrageous- just poor service. I objected politely but firmly to additional wait, and was then scolded in a completely inappropriate manner by some rando server running her checks at the register. I could not believe it. So, my 8 y/o and I went to the car to wait. Upon returning in 20 minutes, our server disappeared for 3 or 4 minutes, then returned to advise us that it would be "probably about another 15 minutes." Honestly, this guy was pleasant enough, but not helpful. He disappeared for 5 minutes, returned to tell us he was trying to process the refund, then disappeared another 10 minutes. During this time my 8 y/o and I sat at uncleared positions at the bar. The bartender was a nice and sympathetic guy- near the end of this whole thing he at least offered us some samosas and water (which we declined). When the server finally returned he sorta shrugged and said "I can't process this refund, the line is too busy." It was now 45 minutes since we arrived. I asked him if there was any food available now? He said no, the order had been cancelled (fair enough). So in the end I simply asked for the manager contact name and number, the invoice number, an requested that they keep trying to re-credit my account, or I would dispute the charge with the bank. I was charged over $50 bucks for three dishes and some naan, of which we got zero. Beware of this place- at the least, avoid takeouts. UPDATE: I live chatted the restaurant's online processing vendor, Eat24, who was very helpful and refunded me in full.

The best Indian food I have had - ever. Lunch buffet was chicken and veggie dishes and every one was fantastic, and tasted different. Naan was also excellent. I was surprised that there weren't more lunch patrons. Will be back.

Don't waste your time. Number 2 or 3 worst Indian buffets I have tried in the Denver area. All of the food was pretty bland. Most of the items I tried weren't even at proper temperature. I mentioned how cold everything was to our server and I never saw any of the food return to the kitchen. Serving lukewarm chicken is just unsafe. The restaurant had just opened too, so everything should have been fresh. Who's idea was it to mix canned fruit cocktail into the mango custard. That's just stupid. The service was lousy too. Our server never removed any of our plates, so after we each made a couple trips through the buffet, we had a nice stack of plates started. I had to get up to find our server to get water and the check. My friend and I just laughed as we left. What a joke.

Great food, tucked away off of Littleton Blvd behind Savers they have some of the best saag I have ever had, hands down. This is my favorite Indian restaurant and it will be yours once you try it, I guarantee it! Way to go guys, I will be back!

Warm friendly people running it. Great food. Good value. Strange decor, it used to be a British themed pub, but who cares!

Consistently good food, on par with Indian food that I have eaten in England and so much better than the average Indian food restaurant in this country. I have only eaten take-out, so I can not attest to the dine-in service. Both hot and mild dishes are well-seasoned and flavorful. The rice is great, and so are the papadams. If I could, I would make this a weekly habit.

Last week was the first time I tried Indian food ever, and I was very pleased. The location of this restaurant is not the best, but it is worth the trip to nearly downtown Littleton. The service was great, I had no issues with that. The food was great! My girlfriend, though, who has eaten Indian food for years, stated that it was only average. It might've been the dishes we got, as these were her favorite dishes, they might not have lived up to par. However, she was eating the leftovers the next day, so it must have not been that bad. My only real complaint was that I ordered one of the Indian beers and it was not as cold as I would've liked it. I don't know if this is custom with Indian beer, but after the first few sips, it was not very refreshing due to the temperature. Overall, a great experience. I will go back. And, check them out on Groupon!! I think they still have an offer up as of this post.

The wife and I love Indian food on snowy nights. We are somewhat newer to the Centennial/Littleton area (a little over a year) and found this place through Yelp. It snowed the other day so we gave India's Best Restaurant a shot and they really hit the mark. We are huge lamb masala fans and theirs is tied for the best we have had in the Denver area - and we have tried a number of places. I was told the chicken tikka masala was the best dish they have so we will try that one next time to go. We have found our go to spot for Indian and couldn't be happier.

  • Geoff S.

Not sure what's up with the recent rash of poor reviews. We just ordered take out and it was good, as always. We've been going to India's Best since they first opened. I'm not going to say it's the best Indian ever, but it is very solid and, for Littleton, is great. We've liked most dishes we've had, but our favorites that we keep coming back to are the Chicken Tikka Masala and Saag Paneer. The Chicken Tikka (platter), Lamb Vindaloo, naan, and Chana Masala are also all pretty high on our list. If you like spicy, we've found that you need to order it AT LEAST Medium+ to get any heat. As a word of advice, do NOT judge an Indian place by their buffet. Most places (including this one) are very cautious with the spices they use in the buffet to try and appeal to as many as possible. Not to mention that many of dishes have been sitting under heat lamps for...who knows how long? You have to order off the menu to get a real feel for the food.

Seems like ordering has gone downhill since we started getting take out and delivery 6 months ago. The food is good but don't order for delivery. We waited almost 2 hours on a Monday night and only live 2.5 miles away. The food is delicious, but waiting nearly 2 hours after paying $40 is pretty ridiculous, especially on a weeknight.

I was quite impressed with everything I experienced here for dinner. I have traveled to India, I have eaten at most of the Indian restaurants in the Denver area, and several others around the state and country. So I've sampled a wide variety of "Americanized" Indian food compared to authentic Indian food. THE FOOD: Compared to other local restaurants, you will find that India's Best is unafraid to spice it up when you ask for the dish HOT, yet they are skilled enough to turn the heat up without losing any flavor... in fact, the Chicken Vindaloo had great heat and even greater flavor. Beyond the heat, there should be flavorful spices... that's Indian food! India's Best seemed to understand that, and the Chicken Tikka Masala had a depth and breadth of flavor that I have not had at other places locally. Compared to what you find in India... well, curries are not the common dish across most of India, so this is still an Americanized selection. Still, there are several NON-curry dishes, both meat and vegetarian, and I am excited to try them. We had three curries, two of them chicken. The chicken in each was cooked perfectly, wonderfully tender and well-seasoned (but not overly so). I had forgotten how well curries usually hide mediocre chicken... or how wonderful it is to have great chicken in a curry. This is also the ONLY restaurant I have been to that has NOT disappointed me with the samosas! After having some incredibly flavorful and spicy (but not too hot) samosas in the Gujarat (western) area of India, I have found most samosas to be rather plain and boring... mashed potatoes and peas in a fried crust. I was thrilled to find that India's best packs in plenty of flavor and richness into their Punjabi Samosas... while the potatoes were a little mushy, the flavor (and other veggies mixed in) was fantastic. WARNING: You may find yourself RUINED for samosas elsewhere. Finally, I was pleased to have Bharta Makhani (eggplant curry) that was well-balanced in flavor and good in texture (i.e., not tough or rubbery). So far, the best Bharta Makhani I've had in this region. Also, of note: the Chai was not as sweet as Little India's, good flavor, though still sweeter than my preference. It was also refilled numerous times, without hesitation. THE DINING EXPERIENCE: Our waiter was warm, friendly, and professional, very attentive, and helpful with suggestions. The overall ambiance was casually classy, and the decor made it easy to forget that this place is in a low-traffic strip mall. This is the kind of restaurant that would be packed to the gills at all hours if it were downtown. It was a somewhat quiet Wednesday night, though I would hope they have nights with more business... this is one little gem you don't want to slip away! I am also glad to have this place somewhat nearby... India's Best has easily won me over for future visits, and if they are consistently this good, will be my "go to" when taking someone to the best Indian in the Denver area.

Little India watch out! This little gem could easily blow you out of business. With at least 15 vegetarian options I will Definatley be back to this place. I had the onion bahji as an appetizer which is fried onions, very delicious. For an entree I had the vegetable curry spicy with an order of garlic naan. It was so flavorful with a back note of very spicy. I enjoyed it so much I can't wait for my next visit !

This is the absolute BEST Indian I have ever had. This comes from someone who has lived not only in major US cities but have also ventured abroad to find the best there is. The best IS HERE. Try their sauces, their Chix Pakora or Chix Korma, or anything on their menu; it will change your LIFE.

First time at restaurant for an evening meal. Service was a little slow, but then not overly bothersome either. Food was very good. Drinks were tasty and not skimpy and good value for all. Had the navratan korma and fully enjoyed. Can't wait to enjoy the leftovers for lunch today! :-)

My boyfriend and I went for dinner on a Friday evening a couple weeks ago and it wasn't as awesome as it usually is. There were a bunch of new servers and ours was kinda awkward and chewing gum. Something about that threw us off. That's kind of rude, isn't it? Chewing gum. The food was incredible, per usual, so we'll be ordering to-go from now on.

  • Carlton W.

The menu food is always good. Best Indian food in the general Denver area (our favorite is unfortunately in Longmont). What tends to let this restaurant down is the inconsistent service. Sometimes it's fine, sometimes the server has blinders on. I usually go for dinner (lamb korma is lovely). I have had the lunch buffet once, it was decent, the food happened to be fresh. I tend to have the opinion that one should never expect greatness from any buffet experience. Food that sits out should never be the only example to base ones opinion.

Outstanding flavors & quick service! Had the chicken korma, & chicken tikka masala with garlic naan. It was so good that my wife who doesn't like Indian actually enjoyed the korma. Haven't tried lunch buffet yet as we went for dinner but love that it's not too far from the house as this will become a regular spot for our family!!

Bought a Travel Zoo daily deal. Appetizer was terrible. Samosa tasted like rotten eggs. We never received our soup or salad. Entrees were pretty good. Service was horrible. Our server actually never came back at all after our food was dropped off. Never asked how we were, refilled our drinks, cleared our plates, nothing. We had to ask the bartender for help and to get our check.

This is the worst Indian food I have ever had. Avoid the place and go to India's. I went at lunch today for the buffet. The rice was gone. The chai tasted like a mix. The butter chicken tasted like it was made with ragu. My friend from India was with me and he said it was embarrassing, this could not pass for Indian food. I am shocked that anyone could think this food is passable. Maybe they changed cooks.

Went with a coupon from Restaurant.com . We decided to try a new Indian restaurant. Though it was 30 minutes from home it was a great find! We started with samosas which were huge filled with potatoes and peas. The wrapper was more delicious than most. We split the chicken tikka, saag paneer and special naan. The chicken tikka was large chicken breast chunks nicely seasoned and red. The chicken was covered with bell peppers and onions and arrived on a sizzling skillet. It came with masala on the side. The saag paneer was a side that could serve 4, large chunks of paneer and creamy spinach. The special naan was filled with lamb, onions, chicken and I think there was some cheese in it too. One of the Indian beers tasted like apple juice- dangerous! And the iced chai was a little too milky. We hope this place stays, there were only 3 tables taken on a sunday evening. The prices are great and food is fantastic.

This has been a frequent dining experience for me and was very disappointed this time. From ordering it took 40 min. for 2 drinks, 1 hour for food. The server was new and was very nice, but very ill timed. We found a hair in the table bread dipping sauce while ordering, never a good start. When all the dinner food was finally delivered an hour later, we were missing the soup which was my main guest's dinner. I actually had to get up from the table and go find the server to ask for the soup to be brought out. I've been here about 7 times and sadly this experience was so poor I'm not sure I'll come back. I was embarrassed & very apologetic to my guests for choosing this restaurant to celebrate our big day.

  • Emily D.

Food is pretentious, overpriced, and not great Indian food. The servers are way overdressed. They look like they should be in a classy upscale restaurant, not a strip mall. The lunch buffet is pathetic, everything looked overcooked and there was only a few choices. India oven is my favorite and their lunch buffet is three times bigger and 100 times better. I won't go back ever.

In Indian cuisine it is all about the sauces. And tonight we had the honor of dining on Denver's best Marsala, Korma and curries. I have eaten Indian food all over the world, even in India. And what we had tonight was so excellent and true to its ethnic roots as anything I have ever tasted. One more thing. The spiciness of the food is also authentic. Their mild packs quite a very flavorful punch. their spicy level is wonderful. We had dishes that were mild, medium and spicy. I would suggest if you are not afraid of spice, start with the medium. You won't be disappointed and if I am wrong, on your second visit (yes there will be a second visit) you can get things spicier. Their dishes are easily for two.

We went here with another couple a few weeks ago and it was excellent. The food was all very good and our server was nice too. We had the korma which was our favorite, but also had tikka masala and a few other dishes that we all shared. The naan and these samosa type things (I can' remember what they're called) were awesome. Beer and wine very reasonably priced too. Total little neighborhood gem. Can't wait to go back. It needed music though was too quiet although it was busy...I don't like just hearing everyone around me talk and eat- dinner music is a must when you are dining out. It would get my 5 stars if it had some. Maybe next time...

This is the best Indian restaurant in the area! The food was amazing and you could taste all the fresh flavors and spice. The décor was really nice and set a nice intimate yet not overly formal tone. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was sent out quickly....loved the chai tea too. This is a diamond in the rough and the prices are just right!

Really delicious! My mom, daughter and I visited recently for dinner. The decor is pretty standard for an Indian restaurant, but the place is clean. The service was wonderful - friendly and helpful, but not annoying. We ordered chicken tikka masala, chicken saag, a tasty mushroom dish (sorry I forgot the name), and aloo and plain naan. My only complaint was that the "medium" heat was a bit more mild than I would like, but other than that, it was all fantastic! Nothing was greasy and the chicken was nice all white pieces. There is a wonderful depth of flavor that is uncommon in Indian food (at least in my experience). This is clearly a family business and so awesome to have such a great restaurant in Littleton! You should go. Soon.

Don't know how we missed this one -it's been there two years . I saw it, I think, on a Westword 10 best Indian restaurants list. To be honest, I didn't expect much, being in the Savers strip mall that it's in but it's very pretty inside and the food was good (Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala, Vegetable Biriyani) , and service was great.

We are so glad we found this hidden gem! When you walk in, the restaurant smells amazing and makes you instantly hungry. The Chicken Tikka Marsala and Lamb Saag were great. The iced chai tea was not the best we've had but it was decent. It seems more watered down than we are used to. Get the Groupon, it's a great deal right now and good until 5-14.

This place is delicous! The chicken tikka masala and the saag paneer are my favorite. Other Indian restaurants do not even compare to this one. They deliver within a four mile radius too! If you love good Indian food, go here!

I came here for my first time last week and was amazed at how good the food was. There were hardly any people there so I was a little concerned. We had the coconut shrimp appetizer and it was delicious. I wish they were closer to Golden because I would choose them over Little India any day! Try the coconut shrimp and butter chicken.

I'm not one who enjoys hyperbole. Fortunately, India's Best REALLY LIVES UP TO ITS NAME! This is the BEST INDIAN FOOD I have ever had. Sincerely! And I'm not just shining it on! We've had several out of town guests who we've either taken here or gotten take out for and they have all found it remarkably OUTSTANDING. What I like about the food is that it has a real depth of flavor that is inherent in high quality, well-developed Indian food. In addition, every dish has a surprising note that gives a clarity and uniqueness to it. This little note, whether it's some extra zest in the saag panner or an earthiness to the masala -- it makes all the difference. This is not your average Indian food spot with indistinguishable entrees. Pay attention as you eat and notice each offering's special tone. MORE INFO YOU MIGHT LIKE: I love Indian food and love exploring new spots. At the same time, I'm a bit of a germophobe and, let's face it, some "off the beaten track" Indian restaurants are sketchy at best, especially when they are poorly lit. Well, HAVE NO FEAR, un-adventurous gourmand friend! I am happy to tell you that India's Best has EVERYTHING you could ask for in a fantastic Indian restaurant. A) Really tidy atmosphere. This used to be a sports bar or something, and the interior is refreshingly open and not hole-in-the-wall feeling. B) Parking is super easy. India's Best is set in the back of an odd little shopping area that features several consignment stores (some REALLY great -- like Couture Kids *woot*, some sketchy) and some decent businesses (like the Blueberry Cafe). Yet the overall feel of the shopping area is "Dead Mall Aftermath." Dead Mall, that is, until you settle in for your killer meal at India's Best!!!

Pretty good food and excellent service. My family and I are on a mission to find good Chicken Curry. Even though I'm no expert, the food was really good. The Garlic Naan was amazing. Service was also great. I feel like I could of handled a little bit more flavor with my Combo Biryani and some more meat. I would go back to try more food, but will also explore other places.

Went in for the lunch buffet today. As other yelpers have stated it is a great value at $7.99 but I did not think the quality was all that great. The saag paneer was acceptable and chicken curry was good but a little too watery. The tandori chicken was extremely tough and the naan came out very greasy which was surprising to me. All in all it was okay but not a great meal. Maybe ordering off of the full menu would have provided a better quality.

I always enjoy going to India's Best. The food is good and the masala sauces are some of my favorite in Denver. The chicken tikka masala comes in different spice levels-which is awesome! And the buttered chicken and lentil soup are always what I order. They have the best buffet in town but their service is always a hit or miss, this last time the lady simply chose not to give me my change. Granted it was only a $1.47 and I was going to give it right back with a few extra dollars for a tip. But her disregard for giving me my change costed her a bigger tip and this review.

Was looking for something new tonight for dinner. Was near this place and saw the reviews and decided to try it out. I'm glad I did! I had the chicken vindaloo which was really hot (which I like) but a "good" hot - flavorful not just hot for hot's sake. The naans I tried were very good as well. Service was friendly and prompt. Don't let the strip mall location and exterior fool you...this place is really good!

Went back for dinner (and more lunch buffet) since my first review and would still highly recommend this place. Lamb Masala was so good we ordered another round of it. Garlic naan and paratha were piping hot and fresh. Also, if you've never had it, please order MALAI KOFTA. These are wonderful vegetable-cheese dumplings in sweet, creamy curry sauce (vegetarian). India's best makes the best I've ever had. Just fantastic. I wished for more heat in the saag paneer, but it was still very good.

I won't lie I was a little reluctant to try this place out as every joint in the location it took over never lasted long or was closed for one reason or another. But I'm really glad I did. This place is a hidden treasure. The inside of this place looked nothing like the pub it was only a few months before. It was dimly lite but inviting with a warm glow about the place. Once you were through the door you were hit with the wonderful smell of a million spices. The staff were all very friendly and knew the menu well. My group and I was seated fast and greeted with a basket of what was almost flat bread. They have a large menu so they will surely please everyone who comes in. (I may also add they have even separated out a vegetarian menu. Which I find helpful) everything we ordered tasted amazing. It was filling and full of flavor. And for the price we were all well feed. The only reason this place isn't rocking a 5 star was our serves [which again was very good] was also very slow. This is a kink that will likely be worked out soon I'm sure. I know I'll be back soon and if you happen to live in Littleton or in south Denver this is really a place to check out!

Perfectly spiced buffet-just enough heat. Very friendly and accommodating for our young children. Kids five and under eat the lunch buffet free, and the buffet is seven days per week-a weekend lunch buffet for a reasonable price!! Let's support this establishment; we now have good Indian in Littleton!

Loved my curry chicken! Service was good but the waiters were watching us eat and listening to our conversation the whole time. We were the only table there on a week night.

This has to be the best deal I've ever gotten on Indian food. The lunch buffet is $7.99 for food that tastes way more expensive than that. Seriously, the food is incredible, and they have a very nice variety of authentic Indian food. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. Definitely one of the best deals you will find in Littleton.

We love India's Best, by far our favorite Indian in CO. As mentioned by another reviewer, the samosas will ruin you, they are so delicious. Our standbys are the chicken tikka masala, chicken tikka korma and garlic naan (the naan is fabulous here) but we're eager to work our way through their extensive menu. Service is always super-friendly. Awesome local place - try it!

I love Indian food, and this place has got to be one of the best I've ever been to. The staff are so kind, and really work to make sure that your experience is a good one. Plus, the food is amazing. The vegetarian options are amazing, which is something we feel is lacking in Littleton. The Dal Makhani, Curried Veggies, and the Saag Paneer (duh) are just a few things I've tasted, and I can't wait to go back and try some more. Yum yum yum!!! If that flashing "open" sign didn't light up the whole room, and the decor was tightened up a bit, this place would be perfect.

Best chicken tikka masala around. I stopped trying other places because there's nothing worse than biting into flabby chicken thigh pieces that are smothered in divine spices. To me that's a sin. India's Best has tender chicken breast meat that is to die for. I'd eat there weekly if I was ok with being obese. Great naan and super friendly service. Skip the buffet though--it's not as great as the made to order dishes. Go and enjoy as much as I do!

Always looking for a great place to get authentic Indian food so we visited India's Best for the lunch buffet and thought it was good. The food and sauces were traditional and nicely flavored. However, almost all the serving trays were picked over and it was hard to find the chicken or shrimp in the meat dishes. The buffet line also has a somewhat western style salad bar. As for the space and decor it is time tested and frankly a little run down. The restaurant is clean but needs to be updated. At $7.99, drinks are extra, the price is fair. Service was friendly and attentive, high marks for flavor, but everything else was unremarkable.

This is where Pat's used to be, and while I was sad to see my late night food source disappear, I am happy to see this one fill it's place. I had chicken tikka masaala =very tasty vegitarian momo= strange (like Indian gyoza) lentil soup= the flavor was mild but good side of hot sauce(paste)= super good addition, wonderful spice mango lassi= best I have tried! definitely get one! Overall a very pleasing experience, I recommend giving it a try.

We are addicted to their chicken tikka masala! Incredible flavors! Skip the buffet and order your entree on the spot. The unique spice combination and freshness make it worth it. We love the service here too, always so friendly and accommodating!
