The food is your run of the mill breakfast food, which is good when you want something familiar. But Meghan is the best waitress ever! Her dedication to service and getting things right puts her at a standard high above the rest. She is timely and hilarious.

Had to leave, was told kitchen was backed up and wait was 45 minutes. Last time we tried to come here the kitchen was closed. Seems like a lot of issues here

After waiting for 20 minutes for food and orange juice which was orange colored water and coffee that tasted like burnt dirt .... we left. Pathetic food and service.

Hello yelpers! I definitely feel the need to warn you to stay away from this establishment. I totally feel that the food was below average and the service was horrendous. My friend group and I came to this Village Inn for free pie Wednesday. The deal with free pies (as stated per advertisement) is that you get a free slice of pie with any purchase. So, my friends' and I purchased ice cream to go along with our pies. Apparently, this is not apart of the deal. So, I definitely call false advertising on this. But, service itself lacked. I was definitely not happy with our waiter, Nathaniel. He had a good personality, but I don't appreciate him getting the order wrong on the receipts for any reason. No one ordered a lemon supreme and it took more effort than needed to correct this mistake. I do not enjoy confrontations. But, I had to fight for the right price due to false advertising and this mishap provided by the waiter. Although Nathaniel had a decent personality, I definitely can't say the same for Darlene. I do not appreciate her rude behavior to paying customers. I may look young but I will go above and beyond in pay and tips if the establishment deserves it. The atmosphere of the Village Inn definitely caters to a senior crowd and I felt an age discrimination at this location. And the pies itself were not amazing. The chocolate on my pie was too sweet and seemed almost sickening. To me, the dessert didn't seem fresh. The pie definitely lacked a richness that I had hoped for in a place known for its pies. If you want good service and decent food I suggest that you avoid this place. Thanks for reading.

Came on Friday for lunch, was made to wait in line, even though 1/3 of the tables were empty. Not sure if the cooks were too slow or the waiters/bus boys were, but they sure weren't hustling to get people seated! 3-stars for making me wait 10 minutes Once we sat down, everything started to get better. Our waiter was sharp and efficient. I got my favorite lunch combo: half a Grown Up Grilled Cheese sandwich and a cup of Tomato Basil Soup, both delicious and a perfect pairing! My friend had Benedicts and ordered a cup of hot coffee, as promised, they served a whole pot! I probably could've drank some of hers lol but I ordered a Vanilla Iced Coffee to go. He brought it out in a jumbo size fountain drink container, it sure gave me the buzz all afternoon! 4-stars for taste of food and service. 3.5 averaged score. I might have to come Friday night to have the bottomless fish fry, sure is tempting!

Terrible. Came here Sunday and granted expected a wait. But didn't expect a wait when there were no less than 6 empty tables for the 10 minutes we stood waiting. Staff had no sense of urgency and certainly didn't care as they lolly-gagged around. If that part was terrible, made me question how the food would turn out. So we left. Avoid this place.

We got here and waited for 10mins. There was no employee in sight. We didn't get seated and decided to leave. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. They lost customers, I will be placing a complaint on the VI website.

This Village Inn is solid. We've been going here for years, whether it's for that rare breakfast we actually get up early enough for, or the hangover brunch, or the late night gnosh. I have never had a problem with service; on the contrary, service has always been very helpful and prompt. My order is never wrong, the food is always good and seasoned well, and the pies are DELICIOUS. I have never had to wait for a greeting or a prompt seat, even when there are a lot of people waiting.

I refuse to eat in a restaurant where before I'm even seated they allow a man with a huge dog that is obviously dirty into the restaurant and all the staff including management start to pet the dog. Disgusting. And it was not a service animal. We left before seating!

Food was good but the service could have been better. The waiter appeared to be frazzled and absent-minded. The portions were also some of the skimpiest I've ever seen. Not the best Village Inn experience had.

While the staff here is freindly and efficient, the food, is jsut bad. Flaccid bacon, awful sausage and the eggs taste packaged. Their "hallmark" pies are a starchy corn syrup mess. Just bad.

My waitress was amazing !!! On top of her game... The greeter was a joke. He and another coworker were to busy complaining about how busy it was to pay any attention to their customers.... Food was very good tho. I will come back again and try it, but I do hope they focus more on their customer service.

I came here because my friends had a $5 off coupon they wanted to use. Being a vegetarian and some what of a picky eater I agreed to go check it out. Upon arrival we were greeted and asked if we had a seating preference. The waiter Chris was very attentive to our table needs. I found a veggie Omelet on the menu to my liking with a few substitutes. The food came out quickly for how busy the morning was. Overall it was a good experience more the I expected going in.

Food: 3.5 - 4 Selection: 4 Service: 5 Convenience: 3.5 Value: 3 Bottom Line: My daughter comes in here all the time and decided to bring me here. This place is none to unique in the diner world. But I left full and pretty happy. But that was mostly because of the outstanding service provided by our server, Melissa. Overall this is place is a 3 but with Melissa around i would say it is a 4-5 star place. Food: Standard fare from what you would expect from these types of restaurants. Portions were average to above average. My veggie omelette had good flavor and about averaged sized. Normally when i order omelettes anywhere they are pretty plain but this had some ranchero sauce that complimented the flavors well. My daughter's double blueberry pancake meal had huge pancakes and she couldn't finish it. Selection: Selection is pretty standard. I give this place an extra 1/2 to 1 star because of the pie selection. Service: My daughter warned me about the service from one particular server/waitress that they always get stuck with. We were seated on the opposite side this time and so i braced for the worse anyways. Our server, Melissa, was probably one of the best server's i have had in a long time. She was so attentive and helpful. She actually seemed to care about us and our overall experience. I usually tip 20% I gave her more but in retrospect I should have gave her even more. I was just caught up in the fact that the person who rang us up was the girl my daughter warned me about. I noticed that she would talk to us without even looking at us. So in my annoyed state while signing the bill i forgot about Melissa's exceptional service. Sorry. Oh and it probably didn't hurt that Melissa was easy on the eyes ;) Convenience: It's on it's own and close to a few places I patronize thus the slight above-average rating. Value: About standard to above average depending on what you get. I liked that the Hot Tea was an unlimited refill. Many places charge you.

This place was recently remodeled and actually looks very nice. The food isn't bad and is rather consistent. It can be slow during busy periods but I would imagine that is how all places are.
