The manager here was really rude. My husband, daughter and I walked in on a Saturday morning. The manager who was going to seat us asked us rudely where do you want to sit? And it was obvious there was three of us and she only brought us 2 menus. When we were seated we told her we needed the kids menu and she responded "why didn't you say before I seated you?" Like come on that's your job right? We asked for a high chair and she walked away. We waited 8 MINUTES!!! Nobody asked us what we wanted to drink. I get up to use the restroom. Her and 4 other workers are standing around by the claw machine taking about "I wasn't going to let him go out with her" (gossiping personal life) like hello we are waiting to be serviced while they are talking. When the lady seen me she shouted someone take her the high chair i forgot!! I told my husband lets go. The restaurant was empty how can you forget us? I've seen places so busy that will bring me what I need in less than 3 minutes. It's not my fault you hate your job.

Oh Denny's, how sad I am writing this review about you! I have had a love of breakfast joints since I was little, so what is it about your location that has failed to meet my expectations? Could it have been the fact that there were long hairs in my food? Or could it have been the fact that your server never cleared any plates or glasses from our table? Maybe it was the fact that I had to send my food back to your kitchen because it wasn't even close to what I ordered. Or, maybe yet, it was the fact that your cashier was really rude to my friend and gave her a ton of attitude when we were paying our bill. Whatever the reason is, I will not be back.

I recently ate at this Denny's with a large group of about 15 and it didn't go so well. We reserved ahead of time so they knew we'd be coming because we needed to be together as a group. But they had no record of the reservation when we got there. We ended up being seated scattered-about at a variety of tables and booths, which made conversations awkward. The server was great but way overwhelmed - she had too much on her plate. We were all ordering at different times and being served at different times. The food was 'OK' - I had a burger and onion rings. Nothing to get excited about but it was prepared pretty quickly and tasted fine. Another bad experience was the men's restroom was not clean. The trash can was overflowing with used paper towels, the floor had that sticky consistency when you walked on it, and it just plain smelled bad. I also notice the flooring and some of the seating in the restaurant was badly worn. Split vinyl seats, stained carpets, and little pockets of crumbs in the corner are not appetizing.

People know Denny's as the all-time American breakfast place. Maybe that's why they don't care about customer service and focus on getting you in and out due to the large volume of hungry eaters that can eat here for cheap. This location in Lakewood definitely lacks prompt and courteous customer service in all aspects from greeting you when you walk in, your server, and checking out. But hey you get what you pay for ...

Everything was pretty middle of the road, but that's what I expected when I went to Denny's. I got the chicken fried steak and eggs, and it was pretty good, but not a home run. Great service and it was really busy.

FRIENDLY! They're awake! Prompt service. It was only dining option open past midnight around the area. Nothing hits the spot like breakfast for dinner. Or late dinner. Or really early breakfast. A turkey sandwich. Forget the name at this time. Delicious! I went to bed full, so I slept very well!

A great food joint. They are open 24/7 and when it is late at night and you are hungry this place fits the bill. Can't really complain about the food or service and appears to be a clean place every time I have been there.

I usually love Denny's, especially because they're open 24 hours a day, but it pangs me to write a mediocre review. I've only been to this location a couple of times, but both experiences have only been sub-par. The first time, our food took a while to get to our table, we had been there for over an hour instead of the usual 30ish minutes. The second time our food came a little quicker, and our waitress was very sweet, however she seated a woman and her screaming loud obnoxious child right behind us instead of a few empty tables down. There were only 2 other tables with people in them so I feel she could have seated them elsewhere, however she was kind and let us move. I ordered the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Pancakes that are listed as "chocolate chips and white chocolate chips inside two buttermilk pancakes, topped with hot fudge and drizzled with peanut butter sauce." These were diabetes on a plate, but my gosh were they delicious! I'd recommend them if you have a hankering for something sweet. Hopefully me next experience is better because I really love Denny's!

If I could give 1/2 star or zero stars I would. We went there after a show at Red Rocks this past weekend. Apparently they had two cooks walk out and our server had been there for a long shift. We knew this because he constantly complained to our table and sighed under his breath. On top of that, after waitin 25 min to give them our drink order, the server came over, rudely rushed us through our order and then slammed the menus on the table next to us and stated, "im going to blow my brains out". We waited over 1.5 hours for our food which was completely sub par. The server never came to check on us and when he did, he sighed, moaned and continued to state that he was going to kill himself. Look, I have worked in resturants before and understand when a night can go wrong. If someone explained to us when we sat down that there was only one cook in the building and that it would be a while for food, we would have decided to go somewhere else, or been patient. Nothing was explained to us until after an hour of sitting there and walking up to the host stand to get a coffee pot to fill our own coffee. I also understand that it sucks when you have to work really long shifts. In NO WAY does that excuse you coming up to our table, yelling at us to hurry up and order and then tell us your going to kill yourself. Hands down the worst dining experience i have had ANYWHERE.

Tough one - my eggs were always served somewhat undercooked even though I asked for them to not be runny. The pancakes and "syrup" are what you'd expect at a Denny's. The chocolate chip pancakes are actually very good. Other than that, nothing that excites the taste buds. Nothing terrible, but nothing really worth raving about.

Went to lunch here with some of my coworkers today. Denny's doesn't always have the best food but this location is pretty good and if you are running low on money they always have the $2 and $4 menu. The Moon Over Myhammy was pretty good.

We hadn't been to this Denny's restaurant in years, and today's visit solidified why. We recently had a great experience at the Denny's in Albuquerque with a veggie burger, so we went to the Lakewood Denny's for another. The person who showed us to our booth wanted to seat us where the leather seat was torn. I guess old people don't mind where we sit. Well, we did, and asked to be seated in another booth. No one came by to greet us, give us water, nothing. One server was sweeping the floor, and the rest were in another area chatting away. After nearly five minutes where we felt ignored (it wasn't very busy), I asked the sweeper who is waiting our table. Finally, the server showed up and took our order. We got our iced tea and waited . . . and waited . . . and waited. While waiting, I happened to look at the ceiling directly over our booth, and saw the vent duct covered in dust. It was disgusting and a health concern (see photo). The dust could have fallen into our food. We got up and moved again to yet another booth. Still our server was nowhere to be found and we still hadn't received our food after nearly ten minutes. I finally saw our server, called her over, and asked how much longer before we would get our order? She wasn't sure, so we said forget it, we're leaving. I asked how much for the two iced teas, because we did drink those, and she said she didn't know. She'll be back. She left and didn't reappear. Instead of saying "I'm sorry. Don't worry about the drinks," she had to go in the back to figure it out. We got up, left a few bucks on the table, and left. No manager to be found, no apologies, no food. Do yourself a favor and find another dining establishment that takes cleaning seriously, and treats its customers with courtesy and respect. This isn't the place.

The staff here are few and the ones that work there look like they need this job. My waiter/waitress was something I couldn't fathom what gender it was. However, he/she did the best job. It was 2am and he/she had a full house all by his/herself. He/she got my order which took 45 minutes to make 2 pancakes. The food was alright. I will come back mainly because it's close and 24 hours. Maybe they will have more staff.

This place is super close to where we live and so we come here a lot. Service is great and the place is super clean. I have had bad experiences at Denny's before but this particular one changed my opinion of them. My only real complaint is that our server (regardless of who) has a tendency to leave us for long periods when we seem to be wanting something. This is not a speedy service place, but the food is great, cheap, and we always have a good time. We'll be back. Yolanda is the best waitress ever, by the way. She's sweet, timely, and always remembers us. =^^=

One of the better Dennys. Very clean, timely and warm service from Yolanda, and my Santa Fe breakfast skillet with avocado was fresh and flavorful. Has Denny's changed? It used to be large portions of low quality food. For $8.50, my skillet fed me and a toddler without need for to-go. I'm much happier with a full (not giant) portion of good food. I'll be back to this location.
