We were looking forward to trying Steak n Shake, kids went right away!, but husband and I wanted to wait until the long lines went down, kinda like waiting a week or two to see a new movie..., the burgers were good, the staff pleasant. There were lots of different people there and the people watching was fun. Steak n Shake is new to town and there will be growing pains for both the restaurant and the community. Hopefully the community will be patient because it is a great place, great location and employees a lot of teenagers!

The place is a joke the owners are clueless on running a business this place sucks very rude people. They treat there employees very bad. They fire the kids without giving them any kind of warning they are kids they are young and learning to be in the working world give them a chance!!!! Don't just fire them without giving them a verbal or written notice give them a chance to correct the problem ..

I see that people say that the drive thru sucks and the employees are really rude, but when my group of people went in we were greeted fast and friendly! The food was very good and came out relatively quick! For my experience I would give it a 4 out of 5 because I love what I got and the servers were really good at their job! Always checking on us and making sure we were ok. I like this place overall. I think it's just when it gets busy they probably start to mess up little bit.

Wow! I've never been to a burger chain establishment where a hostess actually greets you. It's a $4 burger for crying out loud (fries included)! The place was packed and had extra patrons waiting to be seated. I was surprised just how good (and greasy) my steak burger was. The place had great atmosphere; young families, old folks, the smell of cowpies outside. It's Greeley, right? Haha. All-in-all, I kinda enjoyed myself today. Two burgers, two fries and two drinks for $12.

Also, I would LOVE to have a meeting with the owner as his manager said to me verbatim, "well, we can't ever seem to get your order right so maybe you should just stop coming! " GREAT manager you have there! Way to bring in business!!!!

This place is a joke ! We come from las vegas, nv were we would frequent this place alot. Ive never had issues with this joint of burgers. But this place has put this business for me at its worst. Recently opened Its over crowded and its just chaos. When we first arrive the hostess let us know in advance that their was no more ice cream so that meant no shakes we understood we didnt mind. We did our share of waiting like any other customer would we get called in, seated, the waiter was attentive and courteous (he wasnt the issue). We order our beverages, they arrive my husbands drink is just carbonated water their syrup had ran out, we called it to the attention of the waiter he replaced it. He gave us a couple minutes to look over the menu. We placed our order, the waiter made conversation with us, he told us that they were running out of things. That the kitchen had let them know that they were running low on meat aswell. So they started refusing more customers. We sat there for an hour in half till our waiter comes to tell us that he was sorry but the machine didnt process the order to the kitchen and then he told us the worst part that they had ran out of meat. ! without making a fuss we decided to go pay our drinks. my expectations when I got to the cash register was for a manager to come to us and say sorry we apologies and say the drinks are on us. I guess my expectations were to high for a brand new business because believe they charged me for the drinks. I didnt have a problem paying for the drinks. My issue was you do it out of courtesy. So over all we left HUNGRY and DISSAPOINTED ! Ive never been so upset that actually went back to the place to speak to a manager. I spoke to JOEL the manager but to him it seemed like he didnt care. Even more DISSAPOINTING. He told give us another try So i did I called in today to speak with him once again and guess what once I told him my name and what table number HE HUNG UP ON ME ! CAN I JUST SAY WOW ! IM LETTING EVERY SINGLE PERSON I KNOW TO NEVER FREQUENT THIS PLACE !!!

My partner and I tried Steak N' Shake for the first time last week. We thought it was just anoher plain burger joint... We were wrong! The food was fantastic and very affordable! Our server was polite and the manager was very professional!

First off, Greeley has the worst fast food in Northern Colorado, so part of my rating is due to comparison. That said, the food here is both good and affordable. I have had no experience of bad service despite visiting multiple times since it opened. I have not experienced the drastic fall off in quality that I have seen from other new arrivals to Greeley. My favorite is the triple and fries (4.00).

Normally I don't write reviews for fast food places, nor am I a fast food connoisseur, but Steak and Shake is nice. This is a 1950's era dinner. It newly opened here in Greeley several weeks ago. You go through the front door and a hostest greets you and brings you to your seat. My waiter greeted me and took my order. He was friendly. The food is decently priced and it tasted real good. This place is neat and clean.

The banana shake (just the regular- not the premium) is pretty darn good. Other than that, my orders have been sub par and greasy.

I like this place. We ate there on a Saturday. It was packed, but we waited around for 15-20 and were seated by a friendly face who apologized for our wait. Once sat, we realized the bulk of the menu was $4, including fries! As a father of three, this is great! It took a little while to get our order/food, but the waitress was kind and the kids were having fun coloring and making us laugh. The food was good. It didn't make you feel like you were gonna blow up but was still satisfying. This isn't fine dining, but when old macdonald and the king wants 8 bucks for a "value meal", you realize this is a much better product at a much better price.

With it being new I realize long waits and running out of food are going to happen. What I don't understand and absolutely won't tolerate is a rude manager. That man is one of the worst managers I've ever seen, horrible customer service, swearing, rude, unprofessional... Horrid, too bad for this new location that it has him to bring them down!!!!!!!!

This is a great novelty place. It was fun to take the family and decent price. However, it is not someplace I will enjoy time and time again. In fact I have only found one burger I enjoy.

This place is new and I went there today for lunch and was surprised to find an expected wait time of 10 minutes. They were very busy and there was a little bit of a chaotic vibe but we were seated in less than 5. Friendly waitress, and good food for the price. I would dine here again. My only suggestion would be to have more than one cashier checking people out as there was a line of people waiting to pay so they could leave.
