This place is ok, I mean the sandwiches are just plain. The vito is good, but you only get to choose from one, ONE kind of cheese. They don't have many options and they don't have any soups or salads. If you want a pickle, they charge you. If you want extra toppings, they charge you.

I think you're being a bit harsh, Jeff. Everyone in my office really likes these sandwiches. They taste great and are a nice size for lunch. I'll hold off on giving them 4 stars until I'm wowed, but they deserve at least 3.

Wow- I never thought I say this but- I am done with Jimmy Johns. At least this location...I have been disappointed the last 3 times I have gone. The sandwiches have been thrown together poorly, the bread taste stale, and the service - well lets just say I was walking towards the register and had to dodge out of the way of the cashier who was giving me the stink eye as I walked up...really? The ladys behind the counter are much better - seems they should have them on register instead of rude dude

Wow - Harsh Reviews Here! I LOVE Jimmy John's. I'm five months pregnant. And even though they say, "no deli meat," I cheat and come here for the #17 - Ultimate Porker. They always load on the meat (Perhaps Jeff K. just ordered the small sub instead of the club?), and the bread is absolutely delicious. I'm a mayo and lettuce type of girl, so that's all I get. My man loves the Gargantuan - it's pretty much one of everything, on a sub. And now, I need to address the other reviews, because they left me a bit confused. Charge for extra toppings? I visited their website because I didn't remember this being true. Free toppings = Onion, lettuce, alfalfa sprouts, tomato, mayo, sliced cucumber, Dijon mustard, oil & vinegar, and oregano. Toppings they charge for = Extra meat, Extra cheese, Avocado, Hot peppers. Sounds about right, I'd expect to pay extra for those things anywhere. Oh, and the pickles. Yeah, they're a buck. But they're HUGE! It's basically a barrel pickle, sliced lengthwise. I wouldn't give those away for free either! I think the other reviewers forget that Jimmy John's is franchised - that means the owner/manager of this location is held to the standards of Jimmy Johns! Giving this specific location a bad rating based on the fact that they won't heat up a sandwich (No Jimmy Johns does!) is unfair. Basically, you go to Jimmy Johns if you want a quick sub. You go to other sub shops if you want fancy soups or hot toasty sandwiches. Seems like a pretty basic concept to me!

You have got to be kidding me!! I was hungry, and the near-endless barrage of Jimmy John's radio ads steered me into this place. You know how Floyd's Barbershops are sort of like a Supercuts with a tricked-out faux-hip decor? Jimmy Johns is sort of like a Subway with a tricked-out faux-hip decor. Except they don't use the great, heaping portions of savory gourmet deli meats like Subway. I ordered their signature sandwich, the Italian whatever...but made the apparently unforgivable error of asking for it to be heated. I was told loudly by the owner/manager....OUR MOTTO IS NO HOT SANDWICHES, AND NO SOUP! He forgot the AND NO GOOD TASTE part. I am a glutton. When I'm hungry, I'll eat anything that doesn't scream or bite me back. But this sandwich, I threw half of it away...... On the bright side.....the bag of salt and vinegar potato chips were OK!

This Jimmy John's has food that I would rate as 4 star but a personality I would rate as 5 star. I typically have this toasted italian sandwich which consists of salami and some really yummy sauce I don't know the name of. It's never failed to hit the spot, but if you're looking for an intense gourmet sandwich, I don't think this is quite what you're looking for. I place a lot of food order for the Colorado School of Mines. Jimmy John's has never been late or given me a problem with the whole tax exempt thing the school has you do. If you have the chance, I would suggest you talk to Steve, the owner. I three seconds flat, he knows your name/last place of delivery/last delivery order which makes for a very smooth ordering experience. He's got the best attitude and a great understanding of what customer service really means. He takes the time to ask about your day and connect with his customers. Moral of the story, this gets lost in a lot of chain restaurants. But, you'll always be an individual at this Jimmy John's!

Alright, finally putting this on Yelp after multiple bad experiences here recently. We LOVE Jimmy John's, don't get me wrong. We use this location for walk in because it's near us and I use it a lot working from home for delivery. Our last few experiences have just been ridiculous. At least twice my veggie sandwich has no avocado, which is weird and annoying. A couple weeks ago my delivery came without the chips I paid for and my sandwich literally only had cheese and lettuce! They of course brought the order back but by then it was a good 45 minutes since placing my order for the advertised "exceptional delovery." Today we ordered and delivery took 35 minutes, my poor husband opens his Vito with bacon and it is literally just lettuce and bacon. No cheese, no Vito meat. I called and had to talk to two people who seemed confused and then ended up laughing about it. They sent out another sandwich and ASKED for the other one back!?! What in the world? We found that hilarious as he had already started picking at it because we were hungry and in a hurry to leave the house. I'm always hesitant to order here because of these instances, but of course we love Jimmy John's! This time, however, has been our last for a while. We work in service and completely get it, mistakes happen. But I can't be the only person who happens to have mistakes on orders, consistently. Come on, you need a better staff or something!!!!

Not much to review on. Average corporate sub. They do use an extreme amount of mayo! Recommend if on a budget or in a hurry!

The good- sandwiches are consistently tasty. The bad- service is sometimes really rude. Sometimes when I call for delivery they deliver my order without issue, but sometimes they tell me I'm out of their delivery range (which I shouldn't be, the jimmy johns by the mills doesn't deliver here so this one should, I'm about halfway between the two). I suppose I should call and try to talk to the owner or manager because it really is upsetting that they are so inconsistent with their service and if they fixed that problem I would order quite often. Get it together golden jimmy johns!!

Worst customer service ever today! I've never had a bad experience with a Jimmy John's until today. My order was wrong and delivery took way longer than usual. I do not care about the delivery time so I didn't mention ot when I called about my sandwich. The manager refused to do anything about my sandwich unless I waited another 45 minutes to an hour for another sandwich. Unfortunately I do not have all day and have to leave for an appt. I couldn't be more disappointed with the female manager that was working today. Won't be ordering from there again.

Jimmy Johns #1066 This review is BASED ON DELIVERY... Hubs ever mentioned that he ever heard on the Radio about Jimmy Johns Sub for delivery. It SAID "FASTEST DELIVERY IN TOWN". Err, we bet to differ on that. Called Jimmy Johns #1066 Location Golden for the very first time. Tuesday April 10th 2012. Time was about 18:35hrs ish. Made an order for these following items : * #10 Hunters Club ($6.75) * #14 Bootlegger Club ($6.75) Add peppers on side ($0.50) Our delivery arrived @ 19:00hrs. Portion can be deceiving aka smaller to our expectation. To bad, they also charged ("extra $0.50") for peppers on the side, which indeed was so little. Another note, this could be misleading information. When we check the Menu Online, our Subs cost like ($5.75) and the Hot Peppers cost like ($0.35). Hmmm, how come the difference when we check our receipt when delivery. Maybe due to this economy, every establishment try to squeeze in as many $$$ to charge consumers in order to make their business running. Isk Isk Isk... As with regards to the timing of delivery, EPIC FAILURE in our books. Perhaps the delivery staff is new to this part of Golden etc etc. My order of Hunters Club consists of a full 1/4 pound of fresh sliced medium rare roast beef, provolone, lettuce, tomato and mayo. While Hubs order of Bootlegger Club consists of Roast beef, turkey breast, lettuce, tomato and mayo. The subs we ordered were just A-OK, nothing spectacular. The subs looks a little sad, DO NOT WOW us in any shape or form with regards to our taste bud. To order here again for delivery, maybe "YES", maybe "NO". Perhaps to dine in at the establishment itself, perhaps a maybe too, but definitely NOT IN A HURRY. This place rinds me of Subway - uninspired, basic sandwiches of the kind that can be purchased for less at a grocery store deli. The employees are bro types who YELL constantly; sometimes at new people walking in, or at each other. Anyway, I found it to be obnoxious. The other issue was the ladies' restroom. They seem to keep the door locked and avoid letting paying customers use it. While there, I watched three different women trying and failing to open the door, then asking for a key, then being told that no key is necessary, then having employees roll their eyes when the ladies ( including an elderly woman and a grade school aged girl) asked for help getting the door open.

If you like Jimmy John's, you obviously can't make a decent sandwich yourself. These boring and uninspired sandwiches are wayy too expensive and I don't really care if they come fast; they suck! Get yourself a toaster oven and hit the grocery store, it might just change your life. I'll bet you a complete idiot can make a better sandwich for way less than $9 each. One time JJ catered to a presentation I was attending and not only were they 40mins late, but they came packing sandwiches with nothing more than turkey meat on bread with some mayo/mustard packs. Are you shiiting me? Hopefully I made myself clear, do not go here unless you are so starving that you can't make it 30ft to D'Deli.

This place is friendly, clean, fast and so yummy. I hunt down Jimmy Johns wherever I can. This location was extra friendly. Try the #9 with peppers

Same blah subs as all other Jimmy Johns.

This Jimmy John's is simply an 'OK' sub place. The sandwiches are OK and the service is OK. There is nothing about the Golden Jimmy John's that would encourage me to go to it over any of the other multitude of sandwich shops downtown. I have had my share of both good and bad experiences at the Jimmy John's. Everything from mouthwatering sandwiches to stale bread with tasteless ingredients. Just keep in mind that it's always hit-or-miss there.

1.5 stars would be a good rating for this place. The sandwiches are Jimmy Johns, so they are worth maybe two or three stars. The service, simply the worst I have ever had at a sandwich shop. I told the guy at the counter that I was thinking about a turkey sandwich (I had a friend from Serbia with me so I was helping him with the menu). The guy had the gall to get snarky with me. He said something along the lines of "well what do you think about it." There is no culture of service at this location, stay away from it unless you just have to get a sandwich as fast as possible.

Heat service, prompt sandwich. Everything delivered as ordered with a smile. I would go back to this location.
