NO CREDIT/DEBIT Cards! We have been here a few times and the service has been about the same every time. We are not regulars and it seems like you jump up and down to get someone to notice you and to be waited on. The food is ok-typical diner fare. Bathroom is outside and you need a key for it. Service needs to improve a lot before I give them a better score. They also time stamp the check for when the order went in and then again when it is ready to be served so you can see how long it takes to get your order. Our was almost 20 min for typical breakfast fare and they were not packed.

We waited 20 minutes before we were even acknowledged then it took an hour to get chicken fried steak, eggs and bacon. When we finally got it order was wrong and eggs were cold. We told server she tried to get if fixed. Manager came over with Rude Hateful attitude saying whats wrong, I dont see anything wrong so told her we waited an hour and our food came out wrong and cold. She just shrugged and walked away. Once u bring up an issue they ignore u and dont come back to ur table or refill drinks. IF UR NOT A REGULAR HERE DONT GO CUZ THEY WILL TREAT U LIKE CRAP!!!!! EVEN WHEN UR THE ONE SITTING AND WAITING FOR THEM DO THEIR JOB RIGHT. CUSTOMER SEVICE SUCKS!!!!!

We're moving and I'm going to miss this place to say the least. What a great mom and pop joint. If your ever near give them a try. You won't be disappointed. However don't sit in the back room. Service sucks back there. The last girl we had didn't give us any refills and we waited for 45 minutes to get our food but never did so we finally did. Foods good. Service not so much.

I've been here twice for lunch and I was not impressed either time. The food was bland and so was the service. Haven't tried the breakfast so we will probably go back to give it a try only because it's close to home. Oh, and you have to get a key to use the bathroom and go outside and that always grosses me out.

This little diner was just ok for breakfast. Nothing to write home about. Typical diner breakfast fare at decent prices. Though, some seasonings and spices wouldn't hurt. The service was friendly.

In one word....yuck. I would go anywhere but Coke's diner. Cash only? To avoid taxes maybe?

Waffle House meets Small Town - Mom & Pop. This is not high end so all of you snooty eaters take your taste buds somewhere else. This is greasy, down home, southern comfort, mama's cooking type of place. They are kind, welcoming and hospitable. These waitresses treat you like their cousins who have just come into town starving and in need of home-cooked love on a plate. Food is yummy and will hit that nostalgic spot for any of my fellow southerners. Steak & Eggs was perfectly cooked and hit the spot dead on!

Hmmmm....interesting little joint. We stopped here for breakfast the other day and it was a ma and pa place to a T. Let's start with the looks from the locals knowing that we're not from here and that they don't take credit cards. Thank god I had some cash on me because if not, we would've been washing dishes! We stopped for coffee beforehand and they were nice enough to let us bring our coffee in but they put it in their own cups instead-points for that Coke's. They have the standard breakfast selection with not too many options but enough that you can settle on something without changing your mind a few times. They have something called the "garbage plate" which is basically hash browns with peppers, meat and onions. I would think being named garbage plate it would have more than that but it did the trick and you can order a large or a small one. The small ran about $3 and I got an egg on top so I walked out of there spending $6 with tip, I can definitely be down with prices like that. Oh yeah, if you want to use the bathroom, it's outside. I chose to hold it and risk getting a kidney infection because that just smells sketchy to me.

We have been a few times . The waitress's were always very sweet and very very kid friendly never has anyone been able to get my son to eat so well as he is autistic it's not easy. That alone sold me. Food is great they cooked all the meats exactly how we wanted them. Be sure you bring cash. Really how hard is it to stop at an ATM. Of course unless you have Wells Fargo which sucks because they have no Wells Fargo locations here in fountain (you suck Wells Fargo ) Anyways Tip well they deserve it. Good coffee , support local business especially mom and pop places .The decor is great prefect diner decor ! I did notice when they are busy the wait is a bit longer so like any place so cut them some slack there are only so many employees. I personally like to sit down take my time and relax . If there is something you don't like tell them they had no problem redoing the one and only thing I didn't like with no attitude which is a funny thing if you are nice how nice people can be back to you. ;) I hope everyone gets to enjoy as much as I do.

I love diners. If this place had a smoking section I'd move in! Got the chicken fried steak with eggs, hash browns and toast. The plate came with a big steak knife, but I was easily able to chop my steak with the fork, the gravy was thick and creamy, the eggs were done exactly how I wanted, and the hash browns were a bit softer than I'd like. I think this is about as close to a Texas CFS breakfast I'm going to find, so this is now my #1 breakfast spot if I don't want breakfast drowned in green chili! My wife had the lunch special, an open-faced meatloaf sandwich with mashed potatoes and tons of brown gravy. It was mushroomy and onion-y the way she likes it and the mashed potatoes were good. The Dr. Pepper had a weird flavor, kinda cherry-ish. Coffee was just OK but it was hot and kept coming regularly so I still love it. As a few have mentioned, we did feel like the youngest people there in our late 30s, but we didn't think anyone gave us funny looks due to our Texas plates.

I went for lunch with a buddy and we got the chicken fried chicken and the chicken fried steak. The chicken one was really big but the steak had more flavor. i got some mash potatoes and gravy to put on it also but was very disappointed because it tasted like straight instant potatoes. The fries were not the best either but put ranch on it and it's ok.

I simply love this place. Fast, friendly staff and really good food. Darn good place for the money!

Sha-boom, Sha-boom.... Welcome back to the old school diner! Lot's of cheap, tasty, food that's reminiscent of yesteryear. Probably not for the deconstructed foodie type, but if you want to stop for fries and a shake with your gal, listen to sassy waitresses, and hang out in the parking lot in your old muscle car, this is your spot!

The staff is fantastic and you get a TON of food! The breakfast special was great diner fare. Kitschy, downhome American. Ask for Annie, great waitress! Delicious!

The staff is friendly, food is great. I eat breakfast here ever week and am happy to have found them. I like to relax while I eat and have never felt rushed by staff to get out. I recommend the Fountain omelet, corned beef hash or biscuits and gravy.

The staff is very attentive. The food is very good size and quality for the price you pay. Overall, a great mom and pop, small town experience.

This place is okay. Service is kinda slow and you practically have to jump up and down to get a refill. Food is typical of a diner. FAIR WARNING..... THEY DO NOT ACCEPT DEBIT OR CREDIT CARDS. Cash only!!!!! Come on, time to move up to the 21st century.

There aren't a lot of options out in Fountain, especially when it comes to sit down restaurants. Well, Coke's Diner is THE sit down breakfast place in Fountain. Literally. It's the only one. Fortunately, it's also pretty good. Whenever I'm here I tend to get eggs, bacon and hash browns.

Great diner! Excellent staff and food. There breakfast is of the "greasy spoon" variety that is often craved from this type of place. We enjoy the atmosphere, variety of options on the menu and mostly the staff. They are fast and very welcoming.

Use to come here all the time when my wife and i lived here a few years ago. So far service has seemed to go down hill quite a bit but we are still in house and things could change. Took along time even to be recognized.

I seen to remember it being better. We took out grandkids there yesterday and I was not impressed. I had chicken fried steak, which was OK, can't say much for the salad, potatoes or carrots that came with it. Hubby had a breakfast he said was good, but he isn't very picky. Grandson had a burger he said was good but not worth the money and it came with some really nasty fries. Granddaughter had chick. nuggets and fries, she doesn't care as long as they are fires and Chick. nuggets. Yes you have to go outside it use the lav. but it use to be a gas station, not convenient in bad weather but otherwise no big deal. The place was very clean and the staff friendly.

Great sausage, biscuits & Gravy. Eggs prepared Hot and as ordered. Some jalapeño slices stepped the plate up a notch. Coffee is fresh and most enjoyable.come join the locals yapping about local stuff. Overall a real nice cafe . Ps. Come with your A game attitude. They pride themselves by posting a Bright Green Sign written We Have The Right To Refuse Service To Anyone. I guess even Grandma and Grandpa !

Great mom and pop joint. Fast and friendly service and fun little environment. It's one of few dining options I. Their part of town, but it's good food and you can tell a lot of their patrons are regulars. Great diner food. No fuss. They do not take cards so make sure you bring cash!

The space is very nice. The waitress is friendly but coffee service is a little on the slow side. I got the steak and eggs it was cooked as ordered. Very good meal however the toast was burnt. I would recommend this place if your sick of ihop.

I'm not sure why folks like this place. The décor is good, but the food served is as if mom went on a drunken binge last night and in a hangovered stupor smooshed together some leftovers in the microwave. It's truly amazing they can mess-up scrambled eggs. This takes an epic effort. How can they screw-up toast? Burnt on half the slice? Odd, and impressive. The "burger" is 70% lean low-grade scum-slime and the salad is turned iceberg heels in a sadness bowl. Everything is generic, store-bought, low-grade, cheap-quality. Even the generic coffee tastes like they re-use the grounds. The "Coke" they serve is heavily chlorinated with no filter on the carbonated water dispenser. Great if you like bleach I guess. Yeah, I'd like a little inner-city public swimming pool in my drink please? Ugh. Go here if you're soulless and brain-dead. Now that Mom's Kitchen is closed, it was the only place to get breakfast. Denny's up the street and IHOP smack it in the face. I've eaten here 3 times and each was agony. Worst diner in America. This is the "Carter Hotel" of diners. Oh, and enjoy the bugs and hair in your food. Fail.

I went here for breakfast one morning. The food was decent but the service sucks. We waited for a long time to place an order and then waited to cash out. The food is classic dinner stuff but nothing worth writing home about. Really would rather go to Denny's.

Solid breakfast fare with regional flair. Great service in a nostalgic diner-setting. The coffee was pretty weak. I prefer the high-octane java, otherwise I would have given Coke's 5 stars.

I am a fan of Ma & Pa joints and Coke's is the place I go when I am in the area for breakfast. The one thing I do not like is the bill is not totaled until you get to the register, I prefer to know what to leave at the table. The food is good, people are fun, and the 50s theme fits. If you are on the south side of Colorado Springs head for Coke's

Coke's is a good local place for breakfast. The food is good and the service is great. I'm a fan of their coffee.

This place was a favorite of mine about 5-7 yrs ago, but it seems to have gone a little downhill lately. You can still get huge portions of food for good prices, but something is a little off.... Do they have a new chef or something?
