Decent if you're hungry and on a tight budget. No chips & salsa. More like pico (if you can call it that) & chips. Very chunky mixture of mostly onions. Disappointed to say the least...

Very popular with Mi familia. We get California burritos and lengua burritos. Another favorite is the carne asada fries. Service can be dicey, but we like the young man who works mornings.

Albertaco's is the spot to go after a late night at the bar. These are open 24-hours a day and there is something about their food that hits the spot after a long night of drinking. Maybe it is the greasy food, maybe it is the cheap Mexican, fast food that everyone craves while drunk! In my teenage years, this was the place for my friends and I to go! It was good, cheap, and open late...a perfect mixture! If you do go here, my top choices for food are 1. The breakfast burrito, 2. carne asada burrito, 3. chicken cheese burrito, and to drink a large horchata!

Awesome! sure it takes a very long time to get your food, but that's because it's hand made; just bring your smart phone and chillax or wait until you have 20min. The California burritos are epic and they even took out the cilantro that my wife is allergic to. My only suggestion would be to put in a new 'drive through speaker' for order clarity.

This has been the place we go to for Mexican food since it's the closest other than Taco Bell. I had the machaca plate yesterday and it was pretty great for flavor and quantity. I had them cover it in fresh sauteed jalapenos too for an added kick. Their sauces do nothing for me. Today I had the same machaca plate but on fries from El Super Taco, and it was superior since they gave it to me on fries, while Albertaco just says they can't do it. Maybe it depends on who's working the window. El Super Taco also gives me diced tomato instead of pico de gallo, but again, Albertaco says it's not an option. While the drive is twice as far, we're starting to really consider dropping Albertaco from our eating-out options. They seem to be using more and more lettuce as filler on the plates instead of food.

The service is great! Atmosphere is dated and not the cleanest. Food was prices ok but gross. Do t waste your money.

Bland though mostly seemingly homemade. I think they lost the heart about 5 years ago. Since a 24 hour gig, popular with drunk 20 somethings at 3am who's taste buds are shot from cheap, bottom shelf booze. Nothing admirable here after trying most of thier massive menu. Fairly clean inside. Long waits though. Rather unimpressive. I hear they were good once, not personally not in the last 5 years I've tried repeatedly. Rather sorry they gave up.

Food is very authentic and good. Don't expect too much from the staff because they provide the bare minimum. Worth it for the quality and taste of the entire menu.

I'll make it quick and simple. I like the food. It's the only reason I ever come back. But the place itself is a little run down. The people at the drive thru are rude and short with you. It is always a long wait for your food. Today's experience was better than the last. I guess it depends who's working that day. Hit and miss for me. But the food is great!

If I could have given this place no stars I would have. The food was so salty we couldnt even eat it! The beef burrito was so watery that the tortilla was soggy and falling apart. I will NEVER go back to this place, Taco Bell is a better choice.

Chewy / fatty / gristly meat, hate chewing my food and having to pick out random hard pieces of God knows what, disgusting.

Stay away from the breakfast burritos, just trust me they suck. The rest of the menu is pretty good for a quick Mexican fix. Go to el super tacos on S.Academy for the best breakfast burritos in town.

I used to come here all the time when I was stationed at Ft. Carson. The breakfast burritos were always the best. The prices have gone up a bit, but it still tastes the same. One of my favorite things about Colorado is the breakfast burrito culture.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
