Mama Mia’s Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

I love mama Mia's. There are four of us that live in this house (non-related adults) and we order from there all of the time. The pizza is good but my favorite is the mexican food. We like it that we don't have to want the same thing but can still order together. Pizza and wings for two, lasagne for another, mexican for me. Yes, some of the appetizer/ sides are priced high (a tablespoon of guac for two bucks) but the main dinners and pizza are very affordable. I'm a fan. Oh, I order online so I can't testify to customer service but they are quick and good.

Sad to say but this is a place that nobody should try. The service is bad, the food is on it's best days mediocre and The Owner is a Jerk. Many better local places to spend your money in Englewood than this dump!

They don't deserve a bad review but not a great one. Reasonable in price, fast delivery, however food is just kinda umm I would order again but would never suggest it.

Pizza?.. Can you even call it that? The crap these guys offer would be better off called shit on a shingle. This "pizza" is everything that real pizza is not supposed to be. Literally tastes similar to a frozen pizza.

Although the staff were super nice, for the first time in my life, I threw out the pizza! Totally awful! As hard as I tried, I couldn't figure out what tasted so weird. Like bad sweat or something. I will never return, and you should just choose somewhere else. Gross.

My family and I made the decision to throw away our menu for this place tonight. Honestly, we've been somewhat regular customers (ordering once every few months or so) and despite a few bad experiences with the food and service, thought we'd try again. Mistake on our part. Staff was rude while taking our order - not the first time. The food has gotten steadily worse. Cheese sticks are tasteless. The price of the zucchini is way too high with only 12-13 pieces to an order, salads are pathetic - if you want more than five small pieces of tomato, you have to order extra tomato for a charge. Positive that these folks are making money hand over fist because the quality of ingredients is poor while the price of their menu items have increased. Ciao Mama Mia's. There are better places out there. Get on board.

Burgers: I've been ordering delivery from this restaurant for quite a while. You get a lot of food, and they have been really precise about special requests (extra ketchup, sauteed onions on a double cheeseburger, etc). Mama Mia's is way-out-of-their-league as a restaurant that delivers a cheeseburger for $10. In terms of taste and texture, Mama Mia's is the mythical college team that can beat a pro team. They're Kansas State running the Wildcat. They're UK's basketball team this season. ... they're good.

We have been ordering from this place for years and its always hit or miss, (more MISS then hit!) If you can handle the horrible customer service and the constant order mistakes they make you just might like their food. Mohammed is the worst person their to deal with. He always messes up our order and is VERY RUDE. If he answers the phone ask to place your order with someone else and you might get lucky and not have to call to complain!!

I literally order every other day from here since its conveniently across the street from me.. The dishes are always great i order the steak gyro often. I suffer from stomach issues and i never get any type of discomfort eatting this food.

My neighborhood is littered with menus for this place and that alone is enough to make me never want to eat there. (Can't the management distribute a flyer in a legitimate way? An advertisement in the neighborhood newsletter? A coupon via third-party delivery? What a waste to distribute an 8 1/2 X 11 double-sides menu with no coupons and contradictory "specials."). After looking over the extensive menu I'm even less inclined. The front side would be plenty -- everything on the backside is overkill. As though a place called "Mama Mia's" makes me crave a gyro or a hamburger! Pick a cuisine already. Usually the best restaurants have simple menus with fresh foods, not a hundred plus menu items, some of which don't even fit the apparent theme. I can't be the only person to see this menu and assume that the restaurant sucks. Based on most of the reviews I'd say I'm correct.

As a lifelong restaurant industry employee, I am aware that off nights happen, and mistakes are sometimes made, which creates an empathy that makes me quite remiss to give a rating lower than three for any establishment. I often think that supremely negative reviews are the product of uber-picky eaters, or over-reactions driven by excessive expectations. Unfortunately, I just can't let this venue slide. This was perhaps the worst food-related experience I have ever had in all of my 38 years. I hate to tear a place apart, but frankly, this venue should be ashamed. I ordered delivery, and went with the potato skins, the taco salad, and the gyro. I will say that, despite reading several other revues of this restaurant stating the service was rude, my call for delivery went fine. Delivery was prompt - 30 minutes or so. This is where my kind words end. The food... Wow. I didn't expect hand-crafted cuisine from a delivery joint, but this pre-made, frozen, MSG-filled crap was next-level god-awful. The skins were burnt and all but naked of toppings, save the warm sour cream they elected to put directly on the individual skins. The salad was a mush of something that couldn't possibly be beef on top of wilted lettuce, stale, soggy chips, and very little salsa, cheese, or veggies. The "meat" was so bad that it in and of itself rendered the entire dish inedible. Finally, the gyro. I didn't think you could mess up this dish, but Mama Mia's did it in spades. I have never had fatty gyro meat, but this was mostly gristle and fat, and almost certainly NOT lamb. Again, literally inedible. Never again.

Where you ever left out in a party? because you dont eat pork and everyone ordered pizza with pepperoni or sausage as a topping. Well those days are gone! Mama mia has all kinds of delicious food and Halal/Kosher options too. Like Beef pepperoni and sausage.

Decent pizza but they serve it wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too hot. Mine was still untouchable after 15 minutes in open air. Not kidding.

PIZZA If you like pizza that is 75% bread (some people really do), this is your place! I don't. They have a great deal: $6 1-topping medium pie. But the pizza is all soft squishy bread with NO flavor. The sauce falls flat as well. The delivery guy has a great mustache. So that's a bonus, if you appreciate that sort of thing. Definitely worth the fair price, but I will never go here again. Not for pizza.

damn solid pizza. i get what the critical reviewers are saying: it's definitely not gourmet, and it's definitely not NY style. but it's pretty darn good for the price. 1) they actually put extra sauce on when i asked for extra sauce. do you know how hard it is to get pizza places to do this?? harder than it should be. 2) the crust wasn't too greasy. it was thin and light, which is how i like it. again, if you like NY style, or thick, or whatever, this isn't for you. 3) the sauce was good, and they didn't skimp on cheese or other ingredients. woot! 4) the guy said it would take 30 minutes, and it took 10-15. and the quality didn't seem to suffer for it, so *shrug*. fine by me! 5) it's cheap, and it's close. if i wasn't feeling like a lazy-ass, it would take me 5 minutes to walk to the place and pick it up. dunno what their other stuff is like (it's always suspect when a place offers SUCH a large, diverse menu--everything can't possibly be great), but i'll definitely order from them again.

Rude employees serving unremarkable food. Go next door to the Sub Center!

I was working on a Saturday near the area and all my favorite places were closed, so I decided to give their takeout a try. I can't speak for their pizza, because I didn't have any, but everything I did try was terrible. The tomato sauce in the spaghetti was basically tasteless, red-colored soup. V-8 has more flavor than the watery mess they tried to pass as sauce. The breaded mushrooms tasted like and had the same texture as plaster of paris. They didn't even bother to give me napkins or utensils with the food. $15 later, I really regretted my bad decision.

We LOVE Mama MIa's! The pizzas are nice on the budget and tasty to-boot. They also sell subs and other stuff, but we always go for their pizza. They deliver or you can carry out. The storefront is simply a counter and maybe one table with 2 chairs, so don't plan on eating there if you decide to hit them for lunch.

I was in there ordering a sandwich, in a huge hurry ... No time for a Pizza. I am waiting.. This guy walks in yelling to the cook, (Italian Mob voice) "Hey! The greatest Gyro maker in Colorado, How you doin?" Hair sticking out of his shirt and this big belly.. I first was thinking this guy knows what he is talking about... Second, I made the wrong choice ordering an Italian Hoggie when I should have got the Gyro. The sandwich was ehh.. aeeehhh. It was a sandwich. Fries were over fried. No napkin. The wait was long. Too long for a sandwich. 15 min-16.. SO I went back yesterday for "the greatest Gyro in Colorado." Ah Yeah... um.. I had better in Indiana. I had better in the Mall. I had better on the Street Swammie guy. Again the fries were over cooked. Come on guy... Set a timer or something... Nothing felt right. It felt like Little Cesers.. An Indian guy running a pizza joint, and I am buying a Gyro cause they are the best? And whats with having 2 doors to the place next to eachother but one doesn't open. I watched 3 people in a row try to exit out the locked door. Unlock the extra door. I watched some bum who was asking me for change in this place almost break a wrist trying to exit.

Although the pizza is 2 stars! I liked the calzone so I am willing to give an extra star. Not that it was a great calzone, but it was alright. There are many items on the menu that I have not tried like burgers, pasta, sandwiches so I do not want to be so hard on them just because I was disappointed with the pizza. Like Brian said the pizza crust is fluffy. Crust is not thin like the NY style. Toppings are of average quality, certainly not high like more expensive pizza places. They are on the same league with Domino's. I would not go as far as calling it a bad pizza, but it did not meet my expectations and with out a doubt I would not recommend it. This food joint is located on a strip mall by a Safeway so parking is fine. There are three tables, so it is possible to eat your meal right there. But the area is too small, take-out works best.

Good Pizza & Wings! Well, the day I moved in to my new apartment, included in the lease package was a flyer for this place. So, after a long day of unpacking, I called them up for a late night meal. I got (I forget what it's called) some kind of Pesto pizza with Pine Nuts and an order of buffalo wings. The pizza was good. I prefer a thicker, butterier crust (more like Chicago Style or Pizza Hut) but the one that showed up at my door was pretty good. It even stayed good the second day, after spending a night in my moisture sucking fridge. The wings had a nice, spicy sauce on them. But, it looked like they were fried and then sauced, so they were crunchier than regular buffalo wings. Not my fav, but good with ranch. I haven't been to the physical store front, so no notes on that. But, if you live in the area, definitely call them up for a pie.

I finally got a chance to try the pizza at this place, and let me tell you, coming from somewhat of an aficionado on pizza, this place is nothing special. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to knock the place, they have a huge menu of items stretching well beyond pizza/Italian (including tacos, gyros, fish & chips, etc.), and I haven't had a chance to try any of that. I'm talking specifically about the pizza. The place was clean, the staff was nice, but the pizza, to me, was barely a step above a Pizza Hut or Domino's pizza. The sauce was too tangy, the crust was that same airy, fluffy crust found in the chain pizza joints, and it just didn't taste very good. To put this in perspective, I am from the New York/New Jersey area, and NY pizza is my benchmark for quality. This is not NY pizza. It's not Chicago pizza either. The pizza here is very affordable, however, you do get what you pay for. If you're not a big pizza fan, then I would recommend this place over Pizza Hut or Domino's, especially since they are a locally owned business, but if you are into pizza like me, skip it. Thanks anyway, Mama Mia's! If you're looking for NY style pizza, the best imitations I can think of in Denver are Abo's, some of the Anthony's locations, and maybe Famous on Broadway near the Mayan. Enzo's does a good pie also. If any NYers in Denver know of any more authentic NY pizza spots, please let me know!

They get four stars because they are our go to place when we can't decide what delivery food we want. It is the place to go if you can't decide what you are in the mood for. It is not gourmet as mentioned before but not every restaurant is meant to be. Besides, what do you expect form a place you can get Indian, pizza, Mexican, and Gyros in the same place? Except maybe the other Mama Mia's:)

Someone told me their gyros were good. They were wrong. Haven't tried anything else so I can't comment on the pizza part. Stay away from the gyro sandwich thing.

In a mad rush to get out of the house to start the day, breakfast was skipped. Fast forward 3 hours later and my friend and I were cranky from having nothing in our bellies. First pizza place we see would be the place to go. Boom! We saw Mama Mia's Pizza in beautiful Englewood, CO. Upon entering this tiny establishment I was not impressed. Only three tables in the join, one of which was occupied by a group of construction workers devouring their lunch. We decided to get something as basic as possible and went with the large cheese pizza and a couple of sodas. The friendly man who took our order seemed very pleased to know that this was our first visit in his place. I think he secretly knew he was about to hook us. About 10 minutes later out comes the most delicious pizza I have had in months. Not too greasy. Not to crispy. Tasty. Tasty. Tasty. We both loved what we were eating. In fact my dining companion remarked about how she usually never eats so much for lunch. I grabbed a menu on the way out and couldn't believe how much they offer. Hamburgers, subs, fish and chips, salads, pasta, Mexican. You name it and they seemed to have it. I'll be dragging some friends to this place in the next few weeks to get them them hooked also. I just wish I didn't live in Lakewood. I would take advantage of their delivery service. Highly recommended for a quick, cheap place to eat at that won't disappoint you.
