This is a good place to get a quick sandwich for lunch. I always get the BLT, which is top notch. They also have these gigantor baked potatoes that are to die for. They always fill up at lunch time so get there a little early if you want to get in and out fast! Not to mention that they have free ice cream. How can you go wrong with that?

Jason's Deli is just one of those chains that gets it right. This location is nice and open with a few booths, lots of table and a good salad bar at the back. Plus - the free ice cream when you dine in! Their deli selections are always made when you order them and with the freshest ingredients. I loooove their HUGE baked potatoes - especially the Pollo Mexicano (chicken breast chunks, sour cream, pico de gallo, & cheese). I can not emphasize enough how gigantic these are if you have never eaten it - think of a big baked potato and multiply it by 3! Sandwiches are a safe bet too, with my favorite being California Club! It is nice too that you can get a fruit cup or baked chips if you are being healthy. It is a great lunch spot and perfect for getting some takeout for home!

I always forget how much I like Jason's Deli. I just went again last week and fell in love again. I remember in driving up just after they opened in high school and ordering and sandwich and then cramming it in my purse to take into the closest movie theater to Castle Rock. I feel so old. Jasons is set up for the busy work week lunch time. You order at the counter take your receipt to the cashier at the end of the line and then help yourself to your drink and if you ordered it salad bar. They bring your food to the table and then you chow down and thank whoever Jason is for being so good at making sandwiches. I get the California club and can not bring myself to try anything else because I love it so much. The croissant slathered in mayo is flaky and soft and buttery and yum. Then they add avocado, sprouts and turkey so in my book it can't taste bad. I tried their pablano chowder last time I was in and it was pretty awesome too. I hear the salad bar is awesome but as I said I just can not pass up my sandwich. Maybe someday I will venture.

It is (if you try) healthy, fairly inexpensive lunch. I always fail at the healthy part because I can't resist the New York Yankee sandwich which is a big pile of pastrami between two pieces of rye bread with mayo and mustard. I've had pastrami on rye in NYC, and this is just as good. The best deal seems to be the manager's special, which is a half sandwich, soup and chips for around $9.

This Jason's Deli seemed kind of odd to me. All the furnishings and decor made the place feel like a rundown diner. The food was pretty good and the service was quick. What was funny is that the gal who took our order also delivered it to the table and she seemed like she forgot what it was that we ordered saying, "Club salads?!"

    (2)
  • Jessica M.

Jason's is always good. I've called them for catering on many occaisions (breakfast and lunch events) and they have delivered fresh fabulous yumminess to my door. You must try the Pumpkin Bread - it is seasonal and absolutely amazing!! My only complaint is that they no longer offer sprouts as a topping on sandwiches or salads. :( I love Jason's but I also love sprouts!

Big place with a wide variety of food. Good sandwiches, the kind you cannot get your mouth around without food falling all over your plate and/or lap. Lean cuts of meat, tasty, choice of breads. Not your "homey" neighborhood type place, more the large cafeteria style of get your food, eat and get out. Friendly workers, able to explain all that is served for those of us that do not know all of what is what. Good food and value for the money. We had a Rueben and a Club, both were enough to fill you up and they were about $7 each. Not fast food but a fast place to eat good food.

I went to this restaurant this week with high expectations after having read other reviews here. I was majorly disappointed. This was my first time ever to a Jason's Deli and we wanted to get some type of veggie sandwich or wrap. The guy who took our order seemed barely coherent and ended up selling us something that we did not want (each of us wanted a different half-sandwich with either a soup or salad). I was charged for some type of manager's special and did not receive (nor did I want) a couple of items that were on our receipt as part of this "special". Hubby was charged extra for a cup of soup (which was OK) but they omitted his chips that were supposed to come with the sandwich. Now for the dirt: The cups at the end of the salad bar (where you get your utensils) were full of "chunks" of unknown substances. I almost vomited upon looking for a fork. That said, the food wasn't bad. I would go here again for the salad bar only...it had a great selection, but ONLY if I found it cleaner than it was today!!!

I used to come here frequently for dinner when they were participating in the Rewards Network, but even after they discontinued their participation in that program, I still found myself returning frequently. I've only ever been here for dinner, when the place is usually pretty empty relative to its capacity. The salad bar is terrific, doubly so when there isn't a line. (A good reason to go for dinner!) The selection of vegetables and other goodies never fails to satisfy me, and I particularly love the little (gingerbread?) muffins. I've been consistently unable to resist adding the large bowl of rich and tasty chicken pot pie to the salad bar for just $1.99. However, I just checked the menu, and am mortified that the chicken pot pie doesn't seem to be offered any more. Say it ain't so! The sandwiches here are also great. I particularly love the Reuben THE Great, the Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich, and the Muffaletta. And I always make sure to save room for the free soft serve ice cream. While I'll miss the chicken pot pie, I'm sure I'll be back.

I stopped in here for a quick lunch with friends. The location is convenient for me, as I can walk here from work. They've got a ton of tables and a few booths. I normally prefer booths, but with 6+ people, a table is just the better option. I ordered a Reuben with no sauce. HOLY sandwich. It was so packed with meat that I really don't know how people finish it on a regular basis. The sauerkraut was tasty as well. It was served with Ruffles chips, which totally reminded me of being a kid. I can't remember the last time I had regular Ruffles. I'd prefer a number of other chips, but they were still good. I'm sure I'll stop in again in the future and try one of their soups. I regretted not trying one, but then again, I'd never have been able to finish it.

I love Jason's deli and this location is horrible. I never thought I would give one a one star rating but this location does not prepare their food to the same quality as all the others I have been too. Jason's Deli is one of my favorite places but avoid this location at all costs they are beyond sub par.

Always polite and free dessert! I must say that this Jason's location always does a great job of getting your food to your table very quickly --- even during a rush. I applaud the management for always having the restaurant staffed. The salad bar is nicely stocked and fresh. I have also had this location cater many events for me and have always been pleased.

Love their vegetarian soups & spuds. Management at this location is awesome! They're tuned in to what people want and never glare at us weird for a "difficult" veg /gluten free /no nuts /no dairy order.

Fantastic customer service! The salad buffet was clean and well stocked with fresh items. You can never go wrong with free ice cream and the chicken chili was on point!

Free ice cream say what?? I thought this place was great. I had the Salmon sandwich which was very tasty. The avocado with the salmon just meshed very well together into a big tasty treat. My mom got the club sandwich which I also tasted and kinda which I got cause it was sorta better than the Salmon. lol Though the salmon was very delicious. They also have a great salad bar which I wish we had but we were ordering take out and a salad is just not ideal for a meal in the car. Just 4 stars though. I didn't like the layout of the tables and the sandwiches were a little small in my opinion.

My first ONE star review! In more than 200 reviews, I wondered what would push me over the edge so far as to make me give a one star review. Well, as it turns out making a terrible salad that I can't even force myself to eat and requires me to throw away food, is what! My company ordered take out from here, not my choice, and I had recollections of never really liking their sandwiches so I ordered a salad. I ordered their Nutty Mixed up Salad thinking it a pretty safe bet. Nope! The salad had dark meat chicken pieces on it- who does that?! I was immediately grossed out. Even fast food salads have all breast meat. And the chicken was so seasoned that it overwhelmed everything else in the worst possible way. Then the "fruit" on it was flavorless. I don't know how cranberries and grapes can have no flavor but these were terrible. Then, the feta was the mildest tasting feta I've ever had; almost flavorless as well. The ration of greens to toppings was also sorely lacking. The only positive is that the greens were fresh. I could not even force myself to eat this salad it was so bland, topped with terribly seasoned dark meat chicken. I felt terrible wasting company money but as much as I hate wasting food, I hate eating bad food even more. This was bad. I threw it away after 3 bites, and I'm not an overly dramatic person so it's a big deal for me to do that. I can't speak to service. Or the restaurant itself. But if you can mess up a basic salad, then that pretty well seals the deal on my never returning.

Terrible food, terrible customer service. And by "Terrible" I mean "Nonexistent." Ordered a Reuben. Came with about 2 pounds of Sauerkraut sloshed in a mushy, disgusting mess. (Not exaggerating. See photos!) Paid for sandwich with side item (chips.) Chips were not in the bag when I arrived at my destination. I've contacted Jason's Deli via their website TWICE and have received no response, contact, or refund. Stay far, far away.

I love that this place will cater to all allergy food people. They focus on good food and good service. Their potatoes are amazing and I wonder how they find such huge ones to serve! They will deliver to a place depending on where you are and which store you are away. I'm not sure if this location delivers but when they do they will not bring their Togo cups they will only bring cans. That is a total bummer for me since the best part to a meal is the drink.

    (4)
  • Kendra R.

Just as yummy as all of their other locations. I adore the salad bar, though I wish there was the option of adding some turkey or chicken to it. The Nutty Salad totally rocks my world with fresh greens, grilled chicken, grapes, nuts, cheese crumbles, and apple. For a drink I always make myself an Arnold Palmer (tea & lemonade). Sandwiches are piled so high with meat that it can be a little difficult to hold and to bite without making an arse of yourself in front of your friends. Don't forget the free soft serve (mmmmm soft cold chocolate) or try the strawberry shortcake (such creamy goodness). Lines can easily go out the front door since the line in itself can be complete chaos. The place can be quite crowded and feel like a grown up version of what you remember to be your middle school cafeteria.

I stop into Jason's for lunch on a fairly regular basis during the work week. I'm a huge fan of their giant baked potatos I can get anyway I like it (I usually go for broccoli cheese though!) and I also like the wide variety of soups and sandwiches. The wait can get pretty long and the prices are a little on the steep side for a deli, but I keep comin' anyways . . .

Terrible food. I love Jason's Deli and from now on I will be driving to lakewood to eat there. This location might as well not exist. I love tuna sandwiches and know what they should taste like.... my tuna sandwich from this location tasted old and nearly made me throw up. Even my husband took a bite and spit it out. So I nicely went up to the front to ask for a refund and tell them something was wrong with my tuna... this is where the one star comes in I was laughed at by an old fat man working there. It infuriated me. Totally uncalled for. The girl helping me directly was nice but when you have other people representing your business like the fat man it is appalling. I wouldn't waste my time at this location. The food isn't fresh take the time to drive to another location or make your sandwich if you are stuck with this location as an option.

It's a hit or miss at this location. I work nearby so come for the salad bar at least twice a month...some days all the veggies look filled in and fresh. Last week the cucumbers looked as good as they have since I first started coming in November. However, today, wilty and grey around the edges like before...and lettuce was lacking today....usually their mousse, which I LOVE is made well, not too thick nor runny and a good balance of chips, but today was runny :-( I come at quiet times, they're usually cleaning...I'd appreciate they not sweep where I'm eating, the crud that flies around and could end up in my salad isn't pleasant to think about much less eat... Grateful they are near my place of work cuz Jason's has the best salad bar, just know this location could use some love....

  • Riley C.

This location is great. The deli is clean and the salad bar is consistently stocked. The staff is friendly and they will fix anything if it's not quite right. The only reason I don't give them five stars is because the salads and various entrees are a bit overpriced. You shouldn't have to pay such a pretty penny for greens.

    (4)
  • Emily S.

They have a pretty good salad bar. I usually load it up and get my money's worth!! Ask for a bag and you can load up some more :) you can also take the free ice cream to go, there is plastic Togo cups next to the dispenser.

  • Ryan H.

Love this place. Super great quality for a sandwich shop. You might spend more here but that's because they aren't using the cheapest quality from their vendors. So you can deal with that or go to Subway. Plus free ice cream cone if you go in? Come on, you just saved your two bucks by not going to Subway. I mean at least your not eating yoga mats. Ha I'm sure only a few get that food reference. But all serious, try the beefeater and thank me later. By the way it is going to be the best French Dip you have ever had.. If not, almost I bet! I don't wanna make that promise. Oh for you fish lovers! They have amazing salmon here and it is actual fillets and not that cafeteria glop.

This place is amazing. Gluten sensitive menu that is delicious. They sell their gf bread by the loaf. Brought out a bowl of water for the dog and coloring books for the kids at the table next to us. The staff is nice and pays attention to their customers. Would I come back? Yes. It's healthy and they have free ice cream.

My review is strictly for the Corned Beef on Rye Sandwich. Big change. Less meat, no 'slices'. All little pieces layered evenly and thinly on the bread. Not worth the almost 9 dollar price. I used to go out-of-my way, for this sandwich. Now The New York Deli is where I will go for the real thing.

Have been making the rounds around the various eateries near me in Denver. A fried recommended this place on the strength of it's gumbo. Yup, you heard me gumbo. I think the sandwiches are small and just so-so, but I would recommend the spicy seafood gumbo. Of course it wasn't really spicy, but it was good. Really good. Just add hot sauce and you've got a serious taste of New Orleans... I do need to try out the other offerings here though and re-review...

This is the question--would you drive out of your way for a chain sandwich meal? Not me. Five of us went today. It went like this: get up, pick the car up from the shop, drive all the way out to Ken Caryl to visit a friend, get lost in the 'burbs (yep), get there late, leave there late, have to figure out where to meet for lunch at 2 pm between Ken Caryl and the southeast portion of Greenwood Village. Huh? It's like, Lost in Space. So the intergalactic highway is 470, right? And the point of civilization is like, Loehmann's right? So we meet in the parking lot in front of Loehmann's and lo and behold, Jason's. Five sammies and five sodas later, we are humanoid again. That's it. Now tell me how a perfectly tasty meatball sammy, chips and a coke can give you indigestion 4 hours later. I dunno. It's a universal mystery.

Loved Jason's Deli years ago when I first went, then went again a year ago and did not care for my sandwich. Now... I work next door to a Jason's Deli, and I have changed my mind again... I love thier pasta's, and oh... the chili is good especially with all the free corn and gingerbread muffins, crackers, and soft serve icecream they offer. =D Great Deal!!!

Jason's Deli across from Park Meadows Mall is a great place to go for the fresh salad bar. This Jason's location has an extra large dining area and the friendly staff keeps everything clean. They also keep the salad bar well stocked with over 40 ingredients for a healthy nutritious meal. The All-You-Can-Eat Salad Bar is $7.99 and you can add a cup of soup for .99 cents. They have several premium items that many salad bars don't include like fresh spinach, kalamata olives, whole hard boiled eggs, fresh sliced apples, and slivered almonds. Jason's also has a good selection of low calorie dressings. The complementary mini gingerbread muffins and soft-serve ice cream cones are great for satisfying your sweat tooth. To get the best value take advantage of Jason's participation in your Airline Miles Rewards program. Jason's is also offering a gluten free menu jasonsdeli.com/menu/glut…

Quick test: Where is the first place you think of when you think Deli? Deli Sandwiches, Deli Soups, Deli Salads? New York City? Boston? Chicago? San Francisco? How about Beaumont, Texas? Huh? Jason's Deli is a large chain of soup, salad and sandwich shops originating out of Beaumont, Texas. back in 1976. Not exactly the first place that comes to mind when you think Deli Sandwiches. Jason's Deli has over 200 stores selling over $400 million in Deli food in over half the states in the nation. Funny, I had never heard of it until now. This location in the southern suburbs of Denver is huge, almost like it is the lunch room for a major corporation, university, or hospital. It was also pretty empty when I came, but then, it was 2:00pm, past the lunch rush. The few workers inside at that time were friendly, almost robotically outgoing by training. You order like a Deli, in a line, pay like a deli at the cashier, but instead of waiting for your food at the end of the line like a deli, you go sit down with one of those table numbers on a stick. I had a casual meeting here with 3 others, and either I was so focused on that discussion, or the food was so non-descript, that I frankly don' t remember what I ate. And that's how I would describe Jason's Deli: Non-Descript. No real personality. Nothing especially memorable. Like a hyper New Yorker yelling at you to order more quickly. Or mystery meat casserole like at your old HIgh School or College. Or dried salami dangling from the ceiling. Or huge jars of pickles and peppers. There is absolutely nothing ethnic and earthy about this place. It is sort of like Subway meets Applebee's at a suburban PTA meeting in a large High School gym. Everyone eats Milk Toast. The food must have been ok, because if it was bad, it would be memorable. PS - the good thing about Jason's is that they went non-transfat long before they had to. And they are going no MSG, too. And they offer Gluten free options.

Free ice cream! Need I say more? This place has been around awhile, and it holds up every time. Jason's feels more like a mom-and-pop deli than a chain, and I think it has something to do with remaining consistent over the years. The soup is great, and there are always plenty of choices. I recommend the giant stuffed potatoes, especially the spud au broc...it's filled with cheddar broccoli soup! Great for take-out or dine-in.
