Had the best glazed French Cruller today! Coffee is always perfect. The chocolate French Cruller was also pretty good. I had too!

The people were very nice but it was obvious that the donuts were old. Look forward to donut time and this was no fun!!

Service is sub par. 80 percent of the time the donuts aren't fresh. Spare yourself the trouble and drive to the king soopers on Hampden and Monaco. It's right down the street and the donuts are way better!

This place is awful!! Don't ever order from GrubHub if you're hungry!! I've been waiting over an hour and a half for my food! Called the restaurant and got given the number to the "driver" who has assured me that he'll be here in "10 minutes". Let's see if he makes it. I have a timer on my phone going. Came later than promised. Got my order completely wrong!! Never again!!

Extremely poor service! Ive given them so many chances and each time the price is different for a 1/2 dozen they cut the filled donuts in half instead of filling them for real. If my girlfriend go's and gets em the donuts are cheaper than if i go get them. Weird huh? And the donuts are no where near as Tasty as the ones at the Broadway location. Or big

Microwave their breakfast bagels and the doughnuts are basically cake break. Tasty just didn't want a piece of thick cake in the morning.

I stumbled upon this cute little doughnut shop while me and my friend were wondering around bored on a Friday night. So glad we stopped here! The doughnuts were soooo good. I got a glazed doughnut, a chocolate covered doughnut, and a diet coke. It was about 11pm, and it was a great late night snack! The atmosphere was super great. The workers seemed exhausted though! We saw a few other teens inside and I thought to myself, "What a cool hangout this place would be!" I just wish it were closer to where I live! If your around the area, it's a great place to stop. Some of the best doughnuts I've had in a while.

Exactly what you expect from a small donut shop. Employee's are nice and quick to help.

Not sure why people have so many complaints about them, I've yet to have a doughnut that I thought was stale, but I also tend to go in the morning, when they would probably be the most fresh. The only thing I've seen happen is when you order online sometimes the doughnuts get mixed up, but they're all still tasty, and I assume they were probably out of what I ordered and they try to pick something similar. If the choice is for them to sub a doughnut or call me and take longer, I'd rather just have them sub one. Have had the breakfast sandwiches quite a few times too and those are always tasty as well. I usually get mine on a croissant, which is light and fluffy and usually warmed up. The eggs are clearly fresh eggs (you can see whites and yolks), not some container of fake eggs poured on the griddle. All in all I've been really happy with them!

This place is pretty awful all around. Took over an hour and a half to get our delivery, everything was cold, and the quality was pretty horrendous. Ordered a toasted everything bagel with strawberry cream cheese, with instructions to sub plain cream cheese if they didn't have strawberry. Came on a plain bagel with strawberry jelly (it was more like processed strawberry pie filling) and plain cream cheese. Okay, fine, it happens sending instructions is always a gamble. We ordered a breakfast burrito. It came flattened, cold, flavorless, and with the consistency of baby food, everything being smashed together and indistinguishable. We questioned what was actually in it. Ordered 1/2 dozen doughnuts and they were fine, not great and not good enough to order again. Ordered 6 fluffy vanilla creams which looked good but are undercooked, cold and flavorless. Ordered several drinks, all coffees, which were cool (an hour and a half later) and half empty due to spills in the delivery driver's car. Honestly, there are a lot of places around this area with food that's at least moderately if not considerably better. We decided to try something new, and it didn't work out, which is okay. But take our advice and don't waste your time or taste on this place!

Sorry but this location reminds me of the coffeehouse slach diner in the horror movie that you decide to stop into on your way up to some remote place where you're going to ultimately get butchered by some crazy after tripping over 12 twigs in the woods. Though it sits at a very busy intersection, it has the desolate feeling, it has the smell of plastic dolls with old clothing and the guy who runs the place seemed a bit detached after seeming to just appear at the counter. The donuts I purchased were of low quality and, had a really been caught up in the horror movie theme, I would have expected something gross to squirt into my mouth when I bit into it. Luckily, that didn't happen but the donuts were still pretty unappealing. I think I'll pass on any additional visits.

What can i say its open 24hrs which is awesome when 711 has a crappy selection of donuts. The Apple fritter was yummly and not overly sweet. And The Baker/Cashier was more than friendly we even shot the shit for a bit, before i headed home and dove into the yummy heart attack waiting to happen.

The donuts are delicious (really, how could donuts not be delicious?!) but the establishment is dirty and run-down.

I thought all Winchell's were generally the same, until I found this one. Wow. Amazingly poor customer service, which was only outdone by their dismal selection of donuts. Was there around 10am, and had a Groupon to use. Tried to get two dozen donuts, but was told only one per visit. Inconvenient, but would have been ok if it would have been said nicely. Then I ask for the last 7 or so of one kind, but was told that I could only have a couple of them since they didn't have any more. Hey folks, it's not my fault you have extremely poor management and planning. Have never been told which donuts I'm allowed to order, and most certainly won't ever be back to repeat this experience. A huge black mark against this great Donut chain: Not all Winchell's are created equally = pick a different location.

I've loved Winchell's since I was a kid so I am no stranger to this particular little hut of yummy goodness. But this particular Winchell's is a consistent let-down. I purchased 4 online deals for donuts good only at this location (and another too far away). Boy am I sorry I did! All 36 I have brought home and to to office so far have been sad, sorry, dry, clearly made the day before, misshapen, misfit donuts. The 2 times I went to get them the employee was impatient and unfamiliar with the deal and as a result treated me as though I was stealing them. Long story short - don't buy the deal if you have to go to this location, and drive a little further for your donut fix.

Have ended up with stale donuts, two visits in a row. There won't be a third.

So I'm driving down Evans when all of a sudden I get a huge craving for doughnuts and then I pass Winchell's. I wasn't too sure what to expect. I grew up in NC on Krispy Kreme and love their cream filled and the warm glazed when the sign is lit up hot and now. Winchell's was pretty good though. I went for just the sugar doughnut and the one that's glazed and then smothered in cinnamon. Both were good choices, tasty and fresh. However I ended up with a couple extra sugar donuts because they don't accept cards for purchases under $3 and I had no cash. A pretty good place. 4 stars for satisfying my doughnut craving!

Stale donuts Sunday morning at 7am. I expect better, especially given the time. Not a great visible selection compared to other Winchell's. Several flies in the shop.

If you're looking for yummy fat pills on a Sunday, this is your place. The sign says they're open 24 hours a day, so I guess any time is doughnut time. The owner is gregarious and a funny, non-threatening fried dough salesman. When I go in the buy a few (for my kids) he always says "How many dozen today?" Ambiance is zilch, always a few cabdrivers hunched together, but who wants to eat a doughnut in the place? Half the fun is the box and the big reveal when you get home. Winchell's current motto of "With a doughnut in each hand, anything is possible" cracks me up.

I live down the block and go here often. Their donuts are generally good with a good selection most of the time. The prices seem a little high to me, but i've never been a regular at other donut places (like krispy kreme). The staff is generally good-natured. Regarding the person who felt they were treated poorly bringing in a donut deal, I was serviced as warmly as usual when i came in for a free donut on national donut day.
