Well for Peet's sake, I love this place a latte! Don't judge me, just don't. I fell in love with Peet's coffee in California a few years ago and please don't tell Starbucks, because I'm afraid they'll take away my gold card, but I actually prefer Peet's. Their blends are full and soft and I've never been disappointed in my drink there. This particular location wasn't the friendliest, or it would have gotten my 5 star approval. But at any rate, it was kind of a dreary day and the vanilla latte I ordered brightened things right up.

The staff is extremely friendly and even give out free goodies every now and then if you're nice to them. I love this place.

Wow. I'll admit, I have shyed away from here just because it kind of looked a little corporate coffee-ee. Well, whatever it is, they serve up good coffee and awesome customer service. I'll warn you, not a lot of electical outlets here- when I asked about plugging in my laptop, the staff here went on a mission. When they were all taken, they offered an extension cord from the back bar. They said we could move tables. There happened to be an empty table near said back bar, but when the extension cord and my laptop didn't work, the staff climbed under the counter to see if they could make the cord stretch. It did. Viola. The barista on staff was great- double-checked with me if my in-house coffee size was okay, if I didn't like my milk choice, let her know and she would redo, the works. Apologized to ME because of the weird tipping- can't tip on a credit card. She apologized that they did not have a workable system on a credit card. I am impressed. I hope I see this staff again. Very customer oriented. Very rare to get this level of interest in most coffee places!

Atmosphere is a little bland and boring, but the house roast and espresso were both spot on. And that's what matters most.

This used to be my favorite pre-Cherry Creek Farmer's Market place for a tasty coffee a couple of years ago (when my cofffee habit was in full swing). The baristas/cashiers are always over the top with friendliness...you just get a good vibe being in there. Not only did I love their coffee, I loved their small details: foaming the milk a bit for iced drinks so the top is nice and frothy. Their artful way of applying whip cream. All of their delicious different options for their ice-blended drinks. Now I'm off of the coffee but sometimes need something sweet and ice-blended when nursing a hangover. I popped into Peets hopeful that my old standby would have something coffee free, but still delicious. The matcha green tea freddo fit the bill perfectly (and for some reason, medium freddos were on sale for $2!) This drink was genuinely made with tea, not green tea flavored like those blended green tea frappuccinos Starbucks used to have. Not too sweet, but nice and smooth. The baristas are still the very friendliest too.

By far the best coffee shop in town! All around from the coffee to the staff, amazing!

Are you kidding me? Peet's Eggnog Latte is SO decadent I don't even care if Starbucks takes theirs away anymore! The only thing is, can Peet's open more locations throughout Colorado please? I can't travel to Cherry Creek (or Boulder or Centennial which are even farther) every time I crave a really good latte. Anyway, what brought me here was a BOGO coupon but guess what end up happening? They just granted me a free drink without necessary purchase! Uh huh, must be the holiday spirit! I tipped them really well and enjoyed a large eggnog latte knowing I'd be running on the treadmill all afternoon that day. I'm not kidding, it tastes like liquid custard. The best thing is the staff is so professional, they didn't skimp on the drink or gave ma an attitude even though it's a free item. Not only do they need to open a shop close to me, they need to offer the Eggnog Latte all year long, lol.

Little chain inside of Cherry Creek. The staff was super accommodating especially during the Cherry Creek Arts Festival when they were more busy. They let us sample and smell several different types before we committed. The shop is very clean which I truly appreciate.

Oh boy, where do I even begin? Peet's Coffee is fantastic. The Cherry Creek location is never overly crowded when I'm there - which is a nice break from all the people in a hurry in the area. The staff is friendly, talkative and upbeat. Great service, great coffee, great location - what more could you ask for?

If you are looking for quality cup of cappuccino or latte - than you should definitely check this place out. The staff is excellent, but the coffee is even better. I honestly think they serve the best quality coffee in Cherry Creek. Also, their beans are amazing. I frequently drink espresso at home and theirs beans taste so much better than anything I've bought at other coffee shops or retail stores. Ask the staff for help - they really know their coffee.

The Javivas are quite good here, try getting cinnamon mixed in to your vanilla or caramel Javiva, it was even better that way! I would grab one of these over a caramel Frappucino any day, and the raspberry strudel was pretty nice with it

Maybe I just had a bad experience for my first visit to this coffeehouse chain. First thing I noticed was the pathetic display of pastries available. They may not be fresh at Starbucks or Dazbog but there is always a nice variety for those of us needing a snack. Being that I'm not a fan of coffee I ordered the hot chocolate. I know it's called "hot" chocolate but it was made extremely hot. Even after letting it cool for a long time, I was not impressed by it. Think I'll stick with the other coffee establishments in the area.

I really love this coffee shop. Everything from the jovial staff to the bar seats that looks out over Second Avenue while you enjoy your morning caffeine - I always enjoy patronizing this coffee shop. For a chain, they sure do know how to keep it local and and warm as if it was a mom and pop run establishment. The layout of space is not only open and welcoming, but it is conducive for a good 'in and out' flow. You start your ordering process in the back and work your way to the pick-up counter only to discover the sugars, napkins, creamers, etc. are right there next to you! And voila there's the door or some tables to seat if you prefer to sit and stay a while. They are also running a check-in offer for $1 off any Maple or Pumpkin beverage. When I realized this check-in offer too late, the barista gave me a coupon honoring the $1 off discount for my next visit. That surely encouraged me to return. Good thing the Pumpkin Chai Latte is just as good as their service!

We walked in five minutes before closing. Instead of making us feel like assholes, Erik and a sweet girl welcomed us with open arms and made us a special cupa Jo. Thanks guys!

Super friendly baristas and good green tea lattes. There is plenty of seating and outlets for laptops! The windows are big and nice on a sunny day.

I love this place. The coffee is amazing; it doesn't have that perpetually burnt taste that Starbucks has, and their sugar free syrup is FAR tastier than the Bux brand. But outside of that, the staff here is AMAZING. Yesterday evening I had a business meeting here. In the course of this meeting I accidentally knocked my almost full latte over when I shifted my laptop on the table. The crew not only came over right away with napkins, they made me a new latte free of charge! Such great service!!

My go to place for coffee beans. I like that the coffee is strong and I usually get the Major Dickason's Blend which is plenty robust enough for me. Once in a while I will branch out and try some more exotic offering. I like that with the beans that I buy here I can approximate the rich depth of flavor of the coffee when I brew at home. The Americano's are very good and have an almost perfect crema topping. I like the people that work here since they are friendly and helpful. There are several team members who are quite passionate and very knowledgeable about the coffees that are offered and will ask you questions to determine the type of bean and the style of roasting that most suits your taste. The smallish modern space is well organized and uncluttered. The efficiency of the baristas ensures that the line moves fairly quickly during peak times. Unfortunately there is no patio to linger with your drink, but since you're in Cherry Creek you can take your coffee to go and stroll the neighborhood and check out the nearby shops as you sip. I like that I can walk here so I don't have to deal with the parking at this congested end of Cherry Creek. Peet's is located next to WF and across the street from the Cricket so be prepared to fight the other cars for a parking spot if you are driving and watch out for the many pedestrians who will surely not be paying any attention to you.

I'm a tea-drinker, not a coffee fan, and the tea here is great! Flavors you can't find at Starbucks, and friendly staff. I like to get a scone and the jasmine blend.

It would be 5 stars except it's in Cherry Creek North and parking can be a pain. With the heatwave we're having this week I decided to indulge in a espresso freddo from Peet's. Yum! Peet's is my favorite coffee chain, I was the "customer of the week" a few times back in both Santa Barbara and Boulder. The coffee is excellent, as are the espresso drinks (try a latte macchiato-yum)! And their Freddo beverages are the best ice-blendeds around. Well, maybe Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf's are better, but there isn't one here. So Peet's it is!

Great coffee, great americano I just wish they had high speed Internet, not 1.5 mb download. :(

Yay! I found a place to replace Peaberry's! I remember trying Peet's Chai Tea and not liking it, but I don't drink chai very often anymore, so it's a non issue (Peet's Chai was more authentic Chai - spicy and not sweet). But the service was wonderful! Super sweet lady behind the counter who convinced me to buy the bag of natural maple cookies next to the register. Damn her. I asked if Peet's was locally owned and she said that it was corporate owned but that the company treats the employees very well - even providing inexpensive health coverage. Yay! She also said most (if not all) of the pastries were purchased locally and lots of natural and organic eats and drinks can be found. So hooray! Starbucks can be my last resort again!

I do like their coffee. Their dark coffees are very good. The establishment is comfortable, the service is friendly. I bought a pound of coffee to go. It is not cheap. You pay a few dollars more for a pound than Starbucks. With that high of a price I would have appreciated a full pound of product for the cost. I should have had them re-weigh the coffee after it was ground. When I got home I realized that I was short changed by almost a quarter pound. I will purchase their coffee by the cup, but not the pound.

Amazingly enough I have worked one block away from this location for the past 2 and a half years and have never made it into Pete's. I would like to say it was a great experience! I wouldn't pick it out to be my favorite coffee place, however, I would definitely choose it over the other coffee shops in the area. My iced chai was good (not to spicy not to sweet) and they had a wide variety of items on their menu to choose from. It is not a place I would come to study or hang out because it seemed a little "stuffy," with all of the professionals and business meetings going on. The NUMBER #1 reason I will return to Pete's is the customer service. The fellow who served me at the counter was genuinely nice, asked about my day, and helped me decide on a tasty drink. The customer service absolutely receives a 5! I will be back!

Good coffee - we even buy their roasted beans to make at home. Yum.

Well I wasn't as impressed with Peets as the rest of the world. I asked for something like Starbucks Caramel Macchiato (which I like). I got a Carmel Latte of some sort with good coffee flavor but not much C Macchiato taste. Any thoughts? Where can I get a good C Macchiato other than Starbucks?

Peet's Cherry Creek is a great alternative to the other coffee place that's on every corner. The coffee's are fresh. The pastries are fresh and the help is fresh...NOT the same old tired "Hi, welcome to blah blah, I'm your tired barista, what can I do to make you feel like I'm doing you a favor?" The store is contemporary and bright and you actually want to sit down and enjoy lively conversation with someone before bustling about Cherry Creek to buy more overpriced stuff you don't need.

Peet's is one of the more overlooked coffee chains out there, always living in Starbucks' shadow. Their dark roasted coffee is far better than Starbucks - more fresh, better tasting, and their baristats actually have to learn something about coffee. Straight up espresso is normally decent here as well. The brew fresh coffee every half hour or so and dump it, unlike much of the competition. You'll always get a fresh cup, and they rotate their varietals through the tap.

Our absolute favorite coffee shop/brand. Never had a bad drink here...always awesome. They never re-steam their milk, which can lead to a bad-tasting latte or cappuccino. Just perfect foamy goodness. My wife usually gets their drip coffee, and it's never charred or foul-tasting (like some other chains tend to be). We stop by here whenever we're in Denver, and then walk around Cherry Creek w/ our hot coffee. In winter it's divine; in summer, it's still good enough to make it worthwhile.

I usually go to the Southglenn Peets, but was in the neighborhood so stopped in. The drink was delicious as usual Peets. Not quite as customer friendly as the South Glenn store, no one really went out or their way to make me feel welcomed, the Barista Troy was a guy in his early 30's and couldn't crack a smile, and Thank you was a struggle. The female cashier was very nice. I will definatly go back because the drink and scone rocked, but should work on the friendliness.

I'm always treated well at Peet's, whether I'm ordering a pot of Sencha green tea to stay, or purchasing a pound of Peet's House Blend to take home. It's a great location with nice seating. They have some fun retail items, too -- such as the great orange-juice glasses we got last year. Why not 5 stars? I wish they offered more things to eat than pastries and other sweets -- such as sandwiches from Udi's.

I have a strong Swedish battery acid coffee background, and Peet's kicks my ass. I actually stopped ordering my "shot in the dark" drink there, 'cause I find it hard to take. Never thought I'd make that comment about American coffee drink. Anyway, Peet's coffee is excellent. As strong as it is, it's never bitter. And now that Peet's dropped their idiotic anti Wi-Fi policy, I have no complaints about them at all. I just have to remember to wimp out and ask for "room for cream" when I order my drink.

I was shopping in the area, and needed a tea to warm me up, so stopped here. Very convenient location for shopping at Sears, and some of the boutique shops in the area. Good service.

This Peets gave away free samples of freddos which is their version of the frap. Godiva dark chocolate raspberry freddo is just like heaven.

I always went to Peet's when I lived in San Francisco, so I was quite happy there was one in Denver when we moved to town. Best coffee in Cherry Creek North. I only drink drip coffee so I can't comment on the other drink offerings. Only complaint is the lack of tables so it can be hard to get a table or window counter seat.

This IS coffee. The way coffee should taste. I'm hooked.

  • Tracie B.

I like everything about Peet's - the atmosphere, the coffee, the tasty treats, the friendly employees, the service and the free Wi-Fi (one hour). Why not five stars? - I think it's silly that you have to get a special password when you buy your coffee in order to access the Wi-Fi. Are you really that afraid that someone is going to camp out on one of your benches eight hours a day while surfing on their MacBook? Only one hour of free Wi-Fi? Hello, if I'm there for more than an hour, I'm very likely to buy more stuff.

If I could marry a coffee shop, I would marry this one in a second. The people are super nice, the coffee is great. But don't tell my sister I said that (she's a barista at a local coffee shop). I do love their baked goods... especially the chocolate chip cookies.

    (5)
  • Lisa O.

Seriously, the Major Dickenson's blend could not be any more delicious, it's nice and spacious in there and never too crowded, and today, I had some sort of perfect blended coffee drink, it was only 100 calories, and as I was spacing out in my not-yet-caffeinated state, the barista came over and handed it right to me. I'm in love.

  • Emily E.

Fast service, just the way I like it at a coffee shop! Simple menu and plenty of room to sit inside to enjoy my drink. Good if you are on the go and good if you are just taking it easy.

If you really appreciate a good cup of coffee, Peet's is the place to go. The coffee and espresso's are great, and they have an outstanding selection of tea's and can do a nice hot cocoa! My personal reco is to get yourself a french press - they will gladly make you one, and they are wonderful. Now, you will likely be buzzing for a while afterwards, but that's not all bad. The coffee is so good, and not burned at all - the roast (and I'm no roastmaster) seems like the way they should be done. The people who work at Peet's always seem friendly and helpful, and love to have a chat about coffee and help you with your selection. Lastly, they often have a big mirror so you can watch the coffee brew, for some reason, that's just cool. There are a few in the Denver area, including 16th Street Mall. In SF, there are Peet's all over, must be nice to live there!

What happens when the person who expected vanilla in their latte gets none and the person who wanted a regular latte gets vanilla syrup up in their shit? Unhappiness all around! I know this, because I am the person who was excited for sweetness at 7am this morning with drinks in tow for my co-workers. Boo. The barista got the order wrong. They must not have had their caffeine for the day yet, as it seems their brain wasn't functioning properly.

I am a Peets addict. I moved from Oakland where Peets was a staple. I was so thrilled that it was in Denver too! Peets coffee is amazingly flavorful and super strong. It's the best coffee on earth!

The best Iced Latte in Cherry Creek. Baristas still tamp their shots - are you paying attention, Starbucks?
