Crispy chicken sandwiches both tasted like cold cardboard, like they'd been sitting around for a few hours. Watery soda was definitely sitting around for longer than the ten minutes we waited in line to order (a row of filled cups were sitting, waiting to be sold). At least the fries were warm. Soggy, but warm. Would take the food back but the crowd of people waiting and the one harried woman behind the counter just out me off ever being there again.

All customer facing employees should be able to speak and understand English. None of the employees here that I encountered fit this bill.

If you're looking for some easy, they do a good job. For some odd reason they don't have breakfast burritos on the menu.

Fast efficient service. Well organized. Breakfast hot and fresh. Courteous and plenty of smiles. Will definately visit again

I ordered the chicken nugget meal asking for sweet and sour sauce. The lady taking my order told me that they were out of sweet and sour and instead had blah blah blah. Okay, well after that I changed my mind and wanted something else. When I told her what I wanted she gave me a strange look and said "What?" After a few more words were exchanged I began to realize.... SHE DIDNT UNDERSTAND ENOUGH ENGLISH FOR WHAT I WAS SAYING! :face palm: Someone had to come over and do it for her. It was so embarrassing for... I'm not sure who. But I could not believe they would hire someone who's English level is not up to ordering standards. Not only is that a huge issue but the way they bag the meal is so inefficient that the area becomes a huge mosh pit with people waiting for food/taking orders. bad bad bad.

Not that any of there food is worth eating but they can't even get a simple order correct. They were the only place open. It is a shame there is not a Starbucks on the gate 50 side of A concourse. What a disappointment. Now that my kids are older I rarely eat at McDonalds. I though that they may have improved, but I was wrong. The food was ok, at best. Considering they can't get a simple breakfast sandwich correct I will head to concourse B to eat. What a shame!

This is the worst McDonalds I have ever been to - airport or not! The staff does not care, they didn't fill my order correctly, fries were soggy and old, burger cold. Food has low expectations but what kills this location is the staff. Prep area looked dirty as well. Staff doens't understand English to the point you can barely place an order and forget it if you want salt, ketchup or any condiments. I'm assuming the line for the Chinese place next door was so long as locals have learned to avoid this McDonalds.

If I could give this less than a 1 I would. My order, as well as everyone's elses, took FOREVER. The order was wrong and I couldn't get anyone to understand because they didn't understand English. They charged me for things I didn't order and couldn't understand what to bring me. The food was greasy and by the time I finally got. My coffee, my husbands coffee was cold. Terrible experience. Need to have qualified people.

I can't believe I'm giving an A-OK to McDonald's. After Supersize Me I practically banned the place. But let's be honest... egg-ah-mc-ah-muffin is a pretty good breakfast, and I can devour a number 10 with extra sweet and sour sauce. I'll feel gross afterwards, but I'll enjoy it.

was craving some FRENCH FRIES...and wanted a bite before the airplane. Service was A-OK for me...not sure why I chose to eat here though. UNTIL THEN!! ^-^

Got food poisoning from a fruit & Yogurt parfait. Spent 6 hours in the ER recovering, called McDonald's, they didn't care, called health inspectors, they said the refrigeration system failed inspection previous month. Do yourself and your health a favor eat somewhere else.

  • Correy H.

I usually only order breakfast here and have had no issues thus far. That said, the worst part is the darn line. There is no order to it. They have placed some 'line ropes' that have no effect. Often times I see someone who has been waiting to be helped only to be cut off by someone who is obviously 'more important'.

    (3)
  • Jason J.

McDonald's in the airport are always over-priced with rude service. The drinks are always watered-down and flat. The food is usually hot, though, so that's a plus.

Yes, I realize my expectations can't be too high for McDonald's. However when it comes to cheating their customers, I think travelers deserve to be warned. My family and I recently had connecting flights at Denver Airport. My son loves the special treat of going to McDonald's. We stopped there on our Eastbound trip, and again on our Westbound trip. Both times, we ordered a 6 piece Nugget Happy Meal, and BOTH TIMES we got FOUR pieces!! I think they figure travelers are in a hurry and won't notice 'til it's too late to go back and complain. I did go back to complain to the manager & he corrected the problem, but how many travelers don't go back? If it happened to us twice in 5 days, I wonder how many thousands of customers they cheat in a week! My warning to travelers who stop there is to check your order before you walk away from the counter.

I don't know why after an airplane ride, I have the cravings for fast, greasy food. Never to fear, McDonald's is here to the rescue! So I order the six-piece Chicken McNuggets Happy Meal. 1) They didn't give me a toy. 2) They didn't give me sauce. 3) There was no ketchup in sight. 4) The cashier looks like she wanted to eat me. What up with the service? I know you may hate your job, but at least you have one!

    (1)
  • L H.

I have low expectations when I go to McDonalds, this the two stars instead of the one stars I'd likely give as a standard McDonalds review. I feel bad every time it let my kids eat here because of how unhealthy the food is. I feel worse when I eat it with them--literally, I feel physically worse. The food is typical McDonalds here. If that's what you are looking for, have at it here.

  • Constance M.

Maybe not the best late night snack around. I had a late connecting flight at the airport and with most of the restaurants being closed I decided to get a quarter pounder with cheese meal. French fries were ok. As for the bun, I could have easily thrown it across the room shattering a window and breaching airport security. I guess they make all the sandwiches in the morning.

  • William S.

It is 10 minutes after the restaurant is suppose to open but one employee is changing the trash and two are watching. A female employee with corn rolls just got mad at a customer for asking when they are opening. Oh yeah I better not forget the old lady on the back digging in her ear and cooking eggs

  • Neal E.

I needed a quick breakfast in between flights. I grabbed a sausage, egg, and cheese McMuffin on my way to catch a flight on Concourse A. The employees working here were not very focused or organized. However, once I got my breakfast sandwich, it was fresh, hot, and tasty! I wolfed it down and was on my way!

McDonalds's at the airport = extra greasy + extra long wait + extra $$$. It is what it is, but you know that when you chose Mickey D's!

I'm here because I'm not spending $12.99 for a Cobb salad! Airports are hell for appetites. We are captured audience asked to pay premium prices for food that originate from the same, large freezer no matter the lighted facade. Walking past few choices, I walked away from an offer of lettuce and dressing the price of a small steak and took advantage of McDonald's Ribwich meal. While standing in line, a gentleman couldn't keep his eyes of off me. I looked at him a couple times trying to coax him away. But his eyes kept fondling me from my hat to my toes. I had to say something to him to break his concentration. He stepped back and I stepped into line. Every register was staffed. Prices were only about 10% above street. So I decided to go cheap and eat here. The cashier was competent, meaning he didn't mess up my order and remembered everything correctly. He was also very special as he said "Hello" to me telepathically. Telepaths are wonderful people who need not move their lips or voice a sound when communicating with you. My Ribwich was fatty and came with heavy sauce, onions, and pickles. Though I washed the sauce from my hands at the restroom, the smell remained. The cheeseburger was ok. The fries were McD perfect. That was my only meal that day. 24 hours later I would come down with a acute bout of food poisoning that challenged my bowels. My body said "screw you and sit down!" making me ponder about my choice of diet. That is why it gets one star.

Add this to the growing list of places that don't get my money. I'm getting really tired of saying this over and over again, but there is absolutely no reason that, in the year 2014, I shouldn't be allowed to provide my own reusable coffee mug when I order breakfast. It just seems so brash- so blatantly irresponsible- to force me to use a landfill-bound coffee cup every single time I order. When I ordered, the manager behind the counter politely told me reusable coffee cups were "against the rules." I told him I would rather eat somewhere else than give my money to someone who so blatantly disregarded our planet's serious environmental issues. Rather than try to make the situation right, the gentleman just shrugged me off. (I was able to get a lovely breakfast just a few feet away from Caribou Coffee, who were more than happy to support my environmental efforts.) After all, McDonalds doesn't really care if they lose my business- they're too big to care.

This McDonald's is fine. They have a lot of registers so presumably when times are busy they can handle a good number of customers. The lady taking my order was prompt and nice. Some employee from another shift, on my side of the counter, who was not ordering anything, was talking with her and taking up her time, but she did her best to extract herself from that conversation to take my order, which I appreciated. Of course the chatty employee had no clue that what she was doing was inappropriate, but we'll leave that to the side. Anyway, overall I had a positive experience here. In terms of the food, if you've never had McD's and you're looking for a review of THAT, well, you need more help than I can give right now. See ya.

  • Frank C.

The wait was long, the order was wrong. They couldn't get anything right. I held my ground for a cold quarter pound. I almost missed my flight.

  • Dale P.

Why is this McDonalds the most disorganized one I have ever seen! The lines are long, the pick up area is the same as the ordering area. The people do not speak or understand English. The last time I was there, the guy next to me wanted 2 big breakfast and 2 coffee. The first three times he ordered it, he got other stuff. The fourth time he finally got 2 big breakfasts and 3 coffees. There is not much else for a quick breakfast on the concourse. The food court there does not have enough seating and does not have adequate trash containers.

I fly out of Concourse A (and other concourses at DIA) regularly, and have often stopped at McDonalds for breakfast. I like the Sausage McMuffin with Egg, and treat myself to a CinaMelt cinnamon roll. On a recent visit to the Unit in Concourse A I ordered those very same items. After finding a table, I discovered the order was wrong, but not wanting to fight my way back through the line, ate it anyway. I called the phone number on the receipt to report the error, and subsequently received a Gift Card in the mail to compensate me for the mistake with my order. On my next visit, I ordered the usual and presented the Gift Card as payment. Apparently they had forgotten to "load it" as the card had no value. When I explained to the manager that the reason I had the Gift Card was because of an unacceptable experience on my last visit, I was met with only a blank stare. She offered nothing more. I left my order sitting on the counter and went off to catch my flight. Two strikes...do I go for a third?

McDonalds by far has the BEST fries of all fast food restaurants. This is the only reason I ever go. This Mickey D's has the longest lines and the most unorganized ordering and delivering service I have experienced. The quality of the food is standard to any McDonalds. I would really try not to go to this McDonalds, but it is one of the cheaper eateries in concourse C at DIA. So I reluctantly sup here on occasion.
