I stopped at this Jersey Mike's location for the first time and had a good experience. I noticed the quality of the service varies from store to store, so was happy I found a good one. I got the Super Sub which has several varieties of ham and Provolone. The quantity of meat was good, and they also put on 'everything' if you order it Mike's Way. I like the combo of lots of lettuce, white onions, oregano, oil and vinegar. Luckily they did not drench it in oil, which happened at one location. That makes it hard to eat and too soggy. If you just get the sandwich the cost is well under $10. But a soft drink (Pepsi products) and/or chips will push the price up fast. Overall it was a good experience - service was pretty quick and I liked the lunch.

The regular size hoagie is tiny, more like a 6" from Subway than a regular sized from NJ (where I'm from). But the chicken cheesesteak was tasty. I'm a little disappointed that the bread fell apart halfway through and had to scoop the meat with a fork. The air conditioning has been broken for 3 months said the guys inside and that almost forced me to change my mind about eating here but I got a patio chair. I would not consider this an authentic Jersey sub but most people in Colorado wouldn't know the difference.

Terrible service. The young man preparing the subs seemed to be stoned off his mind as was whispering his response when we were trying to place our order. Will not return to this location. Now my boyfriend hates Jersey Mikes as this was his first experience. Bummer. My favorite sandwich place.

Very delicious. Stopped by Sunday for lunch on my way to the brewery just up the road. Roast beef and provolone - mike's way. Very delicious. Chipotle steak hot sub. Amazing. Something more- Their payment terminal prompts you to tip before all else. I like this. More businesses need to do this.

Great sub! Had the original Italian. Both guys behind the counter were helpful and friendly. He took his time making my sub evenly dispersing everything. Awesome meal.

I went here for the first time looking for a simple sandwich. Little did I know it would be a very complicated process. Ordered a "tub" and a #9. My sandwich was made without the bacon that normally comes on the sandwich... WTF! The cashier didn't notice it until he started ringing me up and offered to remake it. I said "please don't, just leave it the way it is." Because it took ten minutes for me to get through the line. I ordered two sandwiches and was charged for three. The sandwiches were boring and inedible. This place makes Subway look fancy. The employees seemed unprepared and incompetent. I was thankfully refunded for the extra sandwich, but I will never be going back to Jersey Mike's. Jimmy John's for life!

The place is busy and the staff is friendly but both the buffalo chicken wrap and grilled vegetable wrap had more white lettuce than anything I couldn't even see much of any other ingredients let alone taste them. Horrible tasting as well.

I haven't been here in over a year because I had a terrible service experience on my last visit. Today, I thought a chicken philly sounded good so I decided to give it another try. Guess what? They're out of chicken? How does that happen when a huge portion of your menu has chicken in it? Plenty of other options around so I won't be tempted to come back.

The best sub sandwich around. They pile on the meat which is freshly cut in front of you. This process can lead to long lines, so go before the lunch crunch gets bad.

Best big chain sub place with no comparison. Subway, Quiznos, and Jimmy John's do not come close in quality or taste. Sub meat cut in front you for each sandwich. Solid establishment.

Went in for the roast beef and cheese Was a very could quality but I wish they would be more generous Quite expensive for what you get Need to be a little more generous so you dont just taste Bread! I went into this location 4989 S Broadway

I LOVE Jersey Mike's! I have only had their veggie sub, but it is sooo good. Their wheat bread is the best; the white bread is just o.k. And their cheeses are some of the best around: the Swiss and provolone are always so fresh and delicious. I also like that they offer a "mini" size for those who don't want a huge sandwich. Also, they have a rewards program, which is always a bonus: earn so many points and get a free sub. Though I haven't eaten any of their meat subs, they look very good and I have heard positive things about them. I recommend Jersey Mike's.

Just a quick review. i dont do subs often, but when i do, fr some reason, i am looking for a reason to go someplace other than Subway. Well, this place is better than Subway. Its costs a little more too. I am from Jersey (grew up on Blimpies) so I may be a lil bias. Its not a great place, but surely no problems with it. OH............ they do have Tastykake snacks. :)

  • Melanie F.

I went in not expecting to be blown away, which was good because then I didn't leave disappointed. Jersey Mike's seems to be a pretty standard kind of sub shop. More similar to Blimpie's than to Subway. I've been on a tuna kick lately so that's what I got. It was satisfying enough but nothing spectacular. (Although my cat seemed to be incredibly attracted to it.) However, having never been there before, when the guy behind the counter asked if I wanted cheese I said "sure" only to find out when paying that when it comes to the tuna sandwich, cheese is 20 cents extra. Now, I always hate at Chipotle when you tell them you want guacamole they apparently have a policy where your burrito maker has to ask you, "Do you know that's extra?" Yes, I know because you reminded me the last 15 times I've been here. In this case, that would have been helpful.

  • Nicole R.

I have been here three times. I have to say the only thing that I found spectacular about the place was the efficient service and the friendly staff, but other than that. It's just a step above subway. Ordered a Pastrami Rueben and they put it on a white sub roll instead of rye. That was the first thing off putting about it. When I finally bit into it. The saurkraut was very sour. I didn't finish the sub. The Turkey sandwich and Chicken Parm sandwiches I have ordered in the past were average . I will definately be skipping Jersey Mike's from now on.

Mmmmm number 13! Thats all you need to experience true Jersey Shore italian sub heaven. My family is from Jersey and these subs taste exactly like they did on the when I would go to the shore on my summer breaks. Dont forget to get it mike's way :)

  • Sarah J.

The sub was great but the customer service was terrible. When I came in there was about 10 employees behind the counter chatting while I waited. Also, the guy before me and I ordered the same sub so instead of asking us individually what we wanted on the subs they asked us together (even though I said we were not together). This made me feel very awkward, Also, I was never offered wheat bread, which I would have chosen if given the opportunity. Like I said GREAT subs! Hopefully only this location is lacking in the personality.

I'm a sucker for a good sub, especially if it comes with lots of veggies, and those nummy little banana peppers. Hold the jalapenos. I'm glad that a friend pointed me to Jersey Mike's- it's like someone took Subway and made it, well, good, and clean! Not much pricier than Subway, and far better quality. I had a fairly tame sandwich with cold cuts, cheese, and all the veggies, but my pals are more adventurous, claiming that the hot meatball sub is the best in town. Next time I'm passing by, I'll give that a try. Service was friendly and rapid, and I devoured my sub in record time- those banana pepper cravings are pretty mean if I don't nip them in the bud! I must disagree with a previous reviewer's opinion of Jersey Mike's; while, yes, they only offer one vegetarian option, the area contains plenty of places to eat. If you're a vegetarian, a Jersey-style sub shop is simply not the best option at which to stop, and their choice to display meat is clearly intended to hint at the New Jersey atmosphere the shop tries to convey. Forget Subway, forget Quiznos, and head downtown to Mike's for a sub sandwich twice as good for about the same price. Win-win situation if I ever saw one!

Mmmmmm..... Club Sub..... I think it's turkey, ham, cheese, mayo and delicious bacon. Mike's way, of course (seasonings and "the juice"). They slice all of the meat/cheese when you order, so it all comes out in nice, thin slices. BF and I usually split a giant. Had the tuna once and it was kind of blah, but the Club Sub more than makes up for it!

Came in here for a quick, cheap meal. Neither of those really came through for me. I think all said and done it was over $10 for a sandwich and drink. This sandwich wasn't anything special...I did get it Mike's way though, which made it a little tastier than my fellow attendees who missed that detail. I just got a run of the mill Italian, and it was just that. Service wasn't the best, they were a little 'salvaggios on the hill in boulder' esque in their serving manner. If you don't know the place, its basically like they are doing you a favor to be your sandwich artist. They weren't quite as bad as the boys in Boulder, but definitely not the nicest crew. Either way, next time I'll probably take my business to a subway and get my fill on for $6 for about the same lump in my stomach.

Why 5 stars for a chain? I don't like every location, just this one. I've always had a really good experience, the folks that work here have never been impolite or rude, as other yelpers have stated, maybe that's because I've become a regular. I go to this Jersey Mikes every other week, sometimes more, and I've never been dissatisfied with the quality or the service, and I'm always very, very happy with my sammich.

I've got to be honest. I wasn't too impressed. I stopped in since I was craving a BLAT. BLT with Avocado. Um not so much, they don't serve avocado here. I was in shock.

Best sandwich in town hands down! I drive pretty far too eat here usually on my way to do something downtown. I used to eat at Jersey Mike's when I was in Florida and it was great there and its great here. The number 13 is my favorite. Be sure to get it "Mike's way" which basically means all the seasonings.

This place sucks. Every time I come here the service sucks. They don't clean tables. They don't know how to take an order properly. The lunch lady thinks she has to close a cash register at rush hour vs cleaning or taking orders. There has been several times where you're standing in front of them and they act like they don't know their own process and when you try to follow their process they do something different. I also came here with a coworker and he didn't want nothing to do with Jersey Mikes so he ran across Broadway, down the street to Subway and was still back to my car before I was done with my order! This place sucks. But I'll be back just because the foods good.

I came in with no recommendation, I merely was in the mood for an Italian sandwich. I found Jersey Mike on Yelp and took a chance. I had the original Italian Mike style. It was excellent. Everything was fresh and great flavors. I will be back. Keep it going Jersey Mike. Cheers

Customer service is terrible. I emailed corporate detailing a horrific experience with this place and no response so I guess the unsanitary and lack of respect for customers is acceptable here. There are many other options in the neighborhood I will choose

I've been coming here for some time now and I'd have to say that I agreed with Steven Z.'s comment but as of late it seems to have been way better. Service is better, ordering is easy, the table are cleaned in a timely manner, and food is great.

I've written about a few of the other Jersey Mike's location - now it's the Broadway store's turn! Love Jersey Mikes - staff is always friendly, store is always clean, always make a great sandwich. In fact, after getting engaged, this was the first stop we made to celebrate - Jersey Mikes on Broadway. My advice: get the club sub. Or chipotle cheesesteak. You can't go wrong with either!

Jersey mikes is my favorite sub shop. I am not very picky, but I hate subway and I get real tired of quiznos so when I am craving a sub jersey mikes seems to always hit the spot. I stick with the pretty basic turkey with provolone on wheat and I have never had it be bad here. Sometimes some of the people who work here aren't super friendy but its not enough to drive me away. I will keep coming back again and again to jersey mikes.

My husband loves this place & has been asking me to go for months, and I'm glad I did! It was pretty good. The food is so fresh, that's what I really liked about it. The deli meat is sliced right there. They could have more toppings though, but really a sub is just a sub!

I only ate at Jersey mikes subs out of ... hunger. Every time I eat in Denver, I am reminded, "This is not Boulder." In general, Denver is not exceptionally vegetarian friendly and Jersey Mikes is no exception. In fact, there was only one vegetarian option on the entire menu! This of course being the sandwich I was forced into, I found this sandwich was really nothing special, not bad by any means but nothing to spend six dollars on. Lovely for the vegetarian also are the decrepit meat cakes that sit on grotesque display in front of the counter. Jersey Mikes caters to meat lovers and sports fans apparently, advertised: "It's tailgating season."
