I just stopped by for a drink. Place is empty. Boring. But the bar staff made up for it with super friendly service. Wouldn't come back though.

Bar and wait staff amazing can't say enough they were awesome very attentive Kelly & Grace are super friendly and awesome bartenders My only problem is the sub par food quality come hard rock you have access to great local products take advantage

Stopped by for some music, dinner and drinks. Was a slow night but the staff was wonderful. They were friendly and even took music requests. We all ended up getting the different burgers and they were all delicious. The drinks were good too.

Very friendly staff and accommodating. The ambiance is like all other Hard Rocks but the food seems to be done with more care. Anytime someone walked by my table, they asked if I needed something. It wasn't intrusive but attentive. Great place... will be back

My favorite bar in Denver! Always have the best service and when we were there on Saturday night, they had Denver's School of Rock performing, a group of kids rocking out...very talented! Altogether a great experience as always!

Woo hoo. A hard rock. I ended up here with 3 people after 2 other places on Saturday night had over an hour wait at 7:00. Not shocking considering the time. I wanted sushi but evidently one of the people I was with is an extremely picky adult eater and only eats chicken. Okay. The other people in the group wanted to try and eat at more niche Denver places but said places wee the ones with the long wait. So we ended up here. We walked in and were seated pretty quickly but our waitress was nowhere to be found for a good 10 minutes. Annoyed from walking in the snow and cold for 20 minutes (and being from Florida) I decided to peruse the drink menu. Said drink menu didn't have a single price listed on it. AT ALL. when Beth finally did come by she didn't know a single price of any of the three drinks the girls in our group asked about. She audibly scoffed when I asked for water to start with while I kept looking. That sealed the deal that I wasn't ordering a $14 sangria (I don't need a souvenir glass and I don't like white zin, thank you). Our food was fine. Nothing special. Took too long to come out considering the lack of people in the place and we had a friend who came by to join us so we added a chair later, this seemed to be the problem of the century. It wasn't in the way and she wasn't going to order anything seeing as she had already eaten and we were halfway done. Again our waitress had a problem with the fact that we needed separate checks. I was a waitress for years. It takes about 4 seconds to do. She was gone so long running the cards I almost grabbed the manager. I still tipped over 20% because I know how crappy it feels to see $2.50 as a tip even with split tickets. But based on this level of service, I don't recommend going here at all. I still want my sushi.

Had a killer time at the Hard Rock. The bartender was very cool and gave me several spots to check out since i was a tourist in town checking out Stros vs Rockies game.Truly sixteenth street is the place to visit.

Hard Rock is a fun experience with good food on the pricey side. The servers are friendly but we didn't have the best service experience probably due to our large group. The food is good they have a great veggie burger. On the pricey side but a real fun experience if you are visiting Denver or just downtown looking for some good American Food .

The food was good... once we got it! The wait staff wandered around like they we're lost. It seemed very disorganized. The atmosphere was fun and upbeat but the service could use some work.

I travel a lot for work and this is my 5th Hard Rock I have had the honor of visiting. David was my server and he rocked (pun not intended har har cough). He was excellent waiting on me considering it was semi-packed when I ate there last Sunday. My chicken bbq sandwich was good - it was a chicken bbq sandwich. :) David made the experience worth-while. I'm in human resources so hats off to whomever hired him. Rock on!

My friends and I were in search of a quick lunch before heading back to the AVMA convention. Hard Rock Cafe seemed to be a good choice. The location of the restaurant is conveniently located on 16th Street and there were plenty of seats available. Fast-forward to the end of the lunch, we regretted the decision. We ordered a trio sampler for pulled pork and (two parts) beef brisket. The server brought out one portion of the beef brisket. When we asked if the rest of the food was coming, he was confused and said yes. We took the hint that the lone plate of brisket was the only thing made for us. Giving them the benefit of a doubt, we waited. Our waitress came back later to check on us, and was apologetic about the missing food. It took a while for the rest of the food to come to our table, even though she said it was a "rushed order." Minus major stars for forgetting our order. I'm pretty patient, but my goodness. The restaurant wasn't even full! We were one of the first onesie the restaurant. Food? The brisket wasn't the greatest. The sauce was the only redeeming quality to make the meat somewhat tasteful. The pulled pork was dry. It wasn't the succulent and tender meat that I was expecting. The only good part to the meal were the fries. Oh, and when I asked if we could get more fries instead of getting beans with the order, our waitress said that the portions were predetermined. UHHH. You could have just given me a few more fries and withheld the "cowboy beans." My first visit to the Hard Rock Cafe will be my last. This overrated themed/chain restaurant tops my list for places to avoid. I'll check out those old rock tunes on YouTube and iTunes to avoid subpar food and service. Thanks!

Sure this is a total tourist spot, but the vibe is cool and I've been to a Hard Rock in almost every city I've been to, so it's a bit of a tradition. I wanted a Moscow mule but they don't have them here?! Sad but whatever, I ordered a mojito. It was probably one of the best, most refreshing mojitos I've ever had! The bartender knows what's up, I ordered another round and my girlfriend did too!

Went with a a group of friends and the overall experience was great. Service is very friendly and efficient. However, they were out of fish and chips and BBQ chicken which is what the majority of us wanted. I ordered salmon which was okay, wasn't as fresh as I would like. The rice was good. But the flavor of the salmon seemed to be a bit off. The chicken nachos were great my friend enjoyed them a lot. The shrimp fajitas were right, she felt sick afterwards because she doesn't feel like her shrimp was cooked all of the way. The pull pork sandwich was phenomenal. The meat was well seasoned.

We went to the Hard Rock Cafe to have dinner and the food was pretty good. The atmosphere wasn't as lively as other Hard Rock Cafe's that we have been to. They barely had the music turned up. They sat us in the bar area in the corner so we really couldn't see most of the memorabilia. It was good to take the kids there once. We spent too much on souvenirs, but had a good evening.

The food is average, but my experience sucked. The host was a snobby gay guy. No one was in the restaurant, maybe one person at the bar, and because I had my son with me he was rude. I asked if it was alright to come in with a stroller or set our stroller aside, which almost all fancier restaurants than Hard Rock Cafe have had no problem with, and set the car seat in the booth. His response and facial expression was unwelcoming and he was hesitant to let us sit down and when he did seat us he was rude. The baby was asleep and didn't make a peep. Kind of an ironic experience since the sign above there restaurant says "Love all, Serve all". My friend got a beer and the top of the glass broke in his mouth which cut his lip. The manager had to come out and do a report which ruined our meal, he couldn't wait until after? I asked the manager if our drinks were on the restaurant and he didn't offer a discount or anything. He only replaced the beer with the broken glass. I will definitely not go back! Mainly because the host was so rude.

First let me say I have been visiting Hard Rock Cafe for years. With my close friends Jennifer and Chris, with my family (mother, sisters and cousins), with my brothers and with my son's. I have even dined there alone. I have easily been here 25 times in the last 10 years. Now in saying that, this is a destination place, not so much for it's food as it is the music memorabilia. I recall the last two unpleasant visits here. The early one was with my friend Cheryl, she was not happy with the pricing of a burger, especially because it did not look appealing. Now if your going to charge $10 or more for a burger, you better make it look appetizing. There wasn't much on it (lettuce, tomato, onion etc...). The drinks were rather high priced too. the second more recent visit was Saturday the 27th of June. I took my son and his girlfriend here for dinner, then they went to a movie and I went to a concert. Our server Robert was very pleasant and helpful. He did a great job. However, the cooking staff needs to remember they are cooking for customers and MAKE IT LOOK APPEALING! My son's sandwich was NOT what he ordered and then when they 'fixed' it, it was still lacking a tomato, which we learned they ran out of. It was a weekend. Bad on the ordering and staff. We spoke to the manager who did try to rectify it with giving my son and his gf a free dessert each. We were in shock at how big the sundaes were. As big as my head! no joke! We all had 4 bites each and that was it. I felt bad for being so wasteful but it would have melted in the car. Again, his sandwich didn't have much Bacon, didn't even look close to the pictures in the menu book. For a meal I spoke $120 (and this is typically the bill going to Hard Rock Cafe), they should have worked a bit harder. I left a good tip for the server but would have liked to have told the cooks to prepare the food like it was for their mother or the Pope! Overall, decent service but my son was still disappointed (as was I) at the sandwich. Oh, and I got a grilled salmon and it was very light on the hickory BBQ sauce. I had to ask for more. I go for the ambiance but it feels wasteful in spending money to not get what you order....so do better next time Hard Rock!

I don't usually frequent chain restaurants, but neither of us had ever been to a Hard Rock Cafe. This was the epitome of why I try to only frequent small and local restaurants. While our server, Gage, was fabulous, offering suggestions to places to visit, the food was mediocre at best. And for a near $60 tab, I wouldn't likely return. My daughter got the veggie leggie burger. The burger was tasty but the fries were not impressive at all. I got the fried shrimp and fries. They were your typical butterflied and battered shrimp. Again, the fries sucked. Spins he and artichoke dip for an appetizer was served with a crisp flatbread and was pretty good. I had a local amber draft beer, and the waiter made a good recommendation according to what I said I liked, but it was pricey. Again, our waiter was the best part of the experience. Take him out of the equation and it was nothing to rave about.

Typical bar food, but pricier. Service was very slow on the patio on a Tuesday night. Ordered brushetta for $10.95 and got 5 pieces.

My best friend and I, traveling from Idaho had to make the Hard Rock Cafe stop so she could add another memorable shirt to her collect. Patio seating was beyond fun and our server Rebecca absolutely made the experience superbly enjoyable. Hard Rock has a great cocktail selection with plenty of fun concoctions. We shared delicious steak nachos and fully loved our experience at Hard Rock. Thank You Rebecca for making our experience so fun.

Excellent Service, Plates and Drinks! Friends and I went there and Really had a good time at the bar. Such fun staff and very well made drinks. We ordered the sampler plate which included many appetizers and all were excellent! Portions were perfect and allowed us to try a bit of everything. We really enjoyed ourselves and loved the fun time we each had. If you want to have a Great night, Hit the Hard Rock!!!!

Upon arriving at this location we wanted to sit at the bar and the bartender did not greet us in a friendly manner at all. It was more of a 'my shifts almost over I don't want to help you' kinda deal. So rather them have her ruin our experience we moved to a table. The server was super friendly and more then willing to wait on us. She was very attentive in making sure everything was to our liking. Food was great! This location is in an our door mall and was an easy find. You will probably have to pay for parking as well if driving.

Nothing new here, once you've been to a Hard Rock Cafe you've been to all of them. Good if you are starving like me and were just looking for a good burger and not really on the hunt for a fancy new place to try out. Service was excellent and the food was as good as I remembered from previous Hard Rock Cafes.

Hard Rock Cafe doesn't have a gluten free menu, however I checked and they have gluten free buns and french fries are fried in a separate frier. The burger was tasty and will go again when I can

Why do I feel inclined to visit hard rock cafe wherever I go. I should know my lesson from visiting other locations on travel that its over priced, chain food that exploits tourists as a comfortable or familiar location to grab food throughout the world. It wouldn't be half bad if it just wasn't marked up so high. The local burger option here for the legend sadly disappoints. I would've preferred the original legend over this 10/10 times. hopefully, I will learn my lesson with this visit.

About 7 of us went there for a lunch today and we were seated really fast the hostess was very friendly! And after that it was downhill! Took prob 15mins for the waitress to get 4 pepsis 2 teas and a water and to take out appetizer order. Another 15mins she took our actually food order and our apps still haven't came out finally we gave her our order & apps came out, 40mins later. It was a 20min wait between alcoholic drinks and refilling out beverages !!!!! We will never go back there again. The drinks sucked the food was average and the service was horrible. Save your money and time go to paramount across the street

Hard Rock Cafe was the host of a fun work-related party with DJ, open Bar, and full Dance Floor. That's right... open bar, DJ, and dancing. I know. I had you at open bar... Well, the bar may have been paid, but the service was so slow. The problem wasn't the bartenders who were busting their tails. The problem was that the bar was understaffed to handle the crowd of 200 or so guests. Kudos to the hard-working crew for their efforts. I just wish it wasn't a 20-25 minute wait, 2-3 deep at the bar to get a drink. Once we did get drinks, the dance floor was heating up, so, we parked our group in the middle while one or two continued to make runs for drinks. It was actually a lot of fun although the DJ needed to do shorter mixes with modern dance tunes, but I can't blame Hard Rock for that. The crowd stayed for hours and other than short breaks upstairs to the restrooms, most kept the dance floor jumpin' while we worked off the drinks. Thanks to Hard Rock for hosting a fun event despite the crazy waits at the bar.

Food was mediocre at best. Mashed potatoes with the salmon were cold and the grilled veggies were rubber. Service took a while though the restaraunt was not busy. Sat next to Willie Nelsons guitar. Highlight of my stay.

Meh. Food is overpriced. There are a lot of better options in a block's radius.

    (3)
  • iko F.

Somewhat overpriced, especially considering the food was not very good and the service was mostly missing. Although the place was 80% empty on a snowy Sunday afternoon, it took 10 min to seat our party of 12. Our waitress actually made a fuss when some in our party asked for water without ice! Then, she completely forgot about my hot tea. Although staff seemed to be running around everywhere, we were forever waiting for our waitress. Regarding the food, my "pulled" pork sandwich was mostly large chunks of dry, tough meat. Regarding the bar, a shot of Jim Beam was billed as 2 oz for $8. The only thing this place has going for it is the decor, but now that I've seen it, there's no reason to go back.

  • Nicky P.

This review is only for bar service, I did not order any food. The drinks were good (I had a long island ice tea - not too "boozy" tasting) but it was not a weak drink by any means. The bartender was very attentive and also friendly, she gave us some great ideas as to where to go/what to do for fun in town. The only dissapointed here was this Hard Rock was kind of lame inside. The decorations didn't really flow and it could use an upgrade. I have not eaten at this Hard Rock and the reason for that is because I have eaten at other ones and the food is very mediocre. Based off of past experiences at other Hard Rocks and my general disliking for chain restaurant food I would recommend eating somewhere else. Check in on Yelp and get and offer for a free souvenir!

My eight year old enjoys coming here and we spend a fortune when we are there shopping as we love to collect pins. We have been to many HRC and this one has always been ok as far as food and service until today! We were referred to the manager because of a problem with a gift card. All I can say right now is if my 8 year old had not been with me things would have got UGLY! It's even hard for me to wrap my head around who would have hired this guy as a manager!!!!!! I've fired employees for FAR LESS!!!! Even my 8 year old said that guy shouldn't be in charge of that place! We won't be back!!!!!!

  • Erin S.

Solid 3 stars all the way. Yes, I know it's a chain but IMO, it's one of the better ones around. One of my good work vendors took me to lunch here a couple of weeks ago when we were all at the convention center for a trade show. We got there a little after the lunch rush and had to wait about 5 minutes to get a table cleared so we could be seated. The food was fine everything was cooked perfectly and was fresh (not like it had been sitting under a heat lamp). The 2 guys I was with ordered a beer off the beer list. No big deal right? The beer list apparently was outdated, and they didn't have the 1st three beers that they ordered. I am not sure how the server didn't know that unless he was new. He did seem to disappear quite a bit and we really only saw himonce after we ordered our food and when he came to bring the check. A manager came over quite a bit to check on us, fill up waters and make sure that we were in good shape. She also apologized for the beer mix up and comped the 1st round of drinks. This place somehow always seems to be a staple when we are downtown for the trade show. Good food, friendly & fast service for the most part and relatively inexpensive. Plus it's fun to check out all the memorabilia everywhere.

First time in downtown denver, this hardrock did not disappoint! Huge hardrock!! Two stories, nice circle bar in the middle. For a good hardcore drink get the electric blue, tastes really good and gives you a good buzz.

Service was great on a Thursday night. Everyone was friendly and seemed to like there job. The fajita trio was a bit to much food for one person. Maybe a share meal but it was very good. First Hard Rock experience an it rocked.

Bartender was attentive and had a good attitude; only reason it's not getting one star. Read on. I ordered food at the bar which was delivered later by a floor server who walked up behind me, set the food on the bar and was about to dash away when I caught her on a cardinal sin that seems to run rampant at many Denver restaurants I have patronized: I had no setup (silverware/napkin). Now having gotten wise to this gross oversight, I might have sat for 5 or so minutes before I could eat. Any restaurant who does this-and there are plenty of them- gets an immediate F. The broccoli had a texture like is was extruded plastic and the mac n cheese didn't sit well in my stomach overnight (it was either that or unclean beer taps). I eat out every night of the week and never have this issue. On top of that, the menu prices are outrageous compared to what you get, and you'll have to put up the occasional yelling for a birthday patron-a practice that wore out its welcome long ago. There is virtually nothing here that would cause me to return.

This location is great for doing some shopping or catching a movie on 16th street then grabbing a drink or bite. The food isn't the most amazing, but the new buttermilk fried shrimp is delicious. The wait staff is great and the oodles of memorabilia will keep me coming back.

The Hard Rock has been doing a lot lately to win me (and other consumers) over. Beyond all of the things that that you would expect from the Hard Rock - drinks, food, memorabilia, etc. - they are upping the ante with a full renovation, improved menu, and a staff that is very friendly, attentive, and actually seems to care about the clientele.

    (4)
  • Mark E.

All Hard Rocks are the same. I only go if people in the group want to check it out. with that being said, I don't mind going because the ambiance is always cool especially if you are a music buff. The food is usually decent, but the prices are a bit high. I guess you are paying for the name? The service has always been hit or miss. This time we had a self admitted new server that did a good job.

  • Richard R.

Let's just say this is a great place to stop in for quick tequila shots before seeing a movie at the Pavilions. On a Wednesday night it was pretty deadski but there was plenty of room to belly up to the bar. Sure, the shots were $10 a piece but they were HUGE! You know I likes 'em big... The inside it your standard decor for a HRC. Actually, it's bigger than I would have anticipated. There are some unique items on the walls found only here in Denver. But, seeing as there is a HRC in almost every city worth its salt I don't go out of my way to come here. I found the bartender to be polite and prompt in service, but this could have been because we were the only people at the bar. Either way, we had a solid 10 minute experience and I wouldn't hesitate to come back again - for drinks.

I'm not much for chain restaurants but awhile ago I discovered the Granny Smith burger at the SF hard rock, a couple of years later I ducked into the Denver hard rock hoping to indulge in such a feast - it was not on the menu however the manager John made every attempt to find this creation, a waiter from SF remembered the burger and called up the store and found the recipe, they hand made the sauce and produced the awesome burger, often customer service is good but not Extrodinare, certainly not expected at a corporate restaurant, but I got 5 star service for a 5 star burger, as a former Nordstrom employee it warms my heart that people still care about their job, and making an extra effort. Thank Hard Rock staff for for setting an example of being genuine and cool. Bravo.

Should be 2 1/2 stars. The food is mediocre. I don't even remember what I ordered. Some hamburger. It's too expensive. It is Applebee's quality food. The crap on the walls is no consolation. Not a place I would ever go back to.

St. Patrick's Day... After a day of visiting over a dozen bars all over Downtown Denver.. what do ya do??? You find a place to actually eat something. I am not sure why we chose the Hard Rock. I think it was more of one of those drunken good ideas more then anything else. That and the 5 people that decided to follows us from the last place we'd been thought it was a good idea as well. I hadn't been into the Hard Rock since it opened years ago. It's just like the other Hard Rocks of the World. It didn't take long to be seated, which I thought was a bit odd for a Saturday early evening. The rest rooms are on the second floor, which are up a very long stair case. There is also an elevator, but sometimes you just don't have the ambition to wait for that. We got Hot Wings and a side of Mac and Cheese. Don't judge.. it just sounded good at the moment. I wasn't overly impressed with the wings. They were dowsed in way to much Franks Hot Sauce. It's probably not what it specifically was, but it sure tasted like it. Now the Mac and Cheese we both really enjoined. It was fusilli pasta with a nice amount of cheese sauce and flavor. It was some of the better Mac and Cheese I have had at a fast casual place. Our Waiter Jeremy was very attentive. He was covered in the rocker sch wag and was more then willing to keep the drinks coming, even after we stopped ordering them. I am not quite sure but I think he bought the last round for Kelly and I. I think I may venture back eventually, but there is just so many other places downtown to visit!

Note: This is for the management not the food it self. I want here and I got a seat. About 10 workers walk by and did not do anything, so after 5 mins I walked out with out be served. Not good service.

The service was just okay but the food compared to the price was a huge bummer for my husband and I. We got an entree and appetizer and for $62 I would have wanted delicious food that satisfied me. Instead I got spinach dip that was bland and cold, greasy onion rings that dripped of oil when squeezed and sub par wings that were also cold. The only thing that was somewhat tasty was the pulled pork on the sandwich we ordered. Other than that I would advise anyone to not eat here and go to Earls or the Yardhouse instead.

It was after 10PM and after visiting Coyote Ugly anything sounded better... We were hungry and I needed food fast before I bite someone's head off. Which usually happens when I am hungry. My margarita drinks were good but our server did not ask me if I wanted salt on my rims. I did not want any salt on my rims. Another minus star here. I got the sampler appetizer which was OK... when you could eat a horse... anything will be ok ( I think). Nothing was outstanding and I will not choose to eat here if there were more options available. One of my friend got alcoholic lemonade but got regular lemonade. The server was nice but little not all there... like she did not want to be there. She did not bring us any utensils and I had to grab it from the table next door. They have variety of food but none that were good... so sad. It is no wonder the one in La Jolla was shut down. If this trend keeps up maybe this might close down too.

Popped into the Denver Hard Rock twice on my vacation over the holidays and loved it! Camper was crushing it behind a busy bar - pumping out quality drinks quickly and still finding time to chat and entertain guests. There was another petite brunette (no name tag) who was also super friendly and made great drink recommendations for my friends - loved the Tropical Rock! Enjoyed the brushetta and friendliness of all of the staff. Had a great experience in the retail store as well; nice selection of merchandise including some winter scarves and beanie hats I've never seen before! This was the PERFECT location for New Years Eve - fireworks were right outside! If I were to fix anything, I'd crank the music up just a little bit more -- the second night we were there I could hear more of my fellow diners conversations than the music. Keep rockin' Denver! You were awesome!

Came in from Indy for the game this past weekend. Stopped by to sit on the patio for cocktails, appetizers and people watching before the game. David was a gem! I manage a restaurant in Indy. Had he been my server at a place in Indy I would have dropped my card and tried to steel him away. He is phenomenal! We were also satisfied with food and drinks.

(3.50 stars) We were just passing through Larimer Square, too early in the day for lunch or libations. HRC's are always worth a few minutes, and Denver's is memorable for displaying the typewriter that Dr. Hunter S. Thompson shot a bullet through. It wouldn't have been worth cab fare, but did provide an interesting diversion on a morning walk.

Always great food! We especially love the potato skins and bruschetta to start. Service can be slow sometimes but that just leaves more time to watch the big screens and listen to the tunes.

As usual, I come to Hard Rock Cafe purely to get a t-shirt for my mother. I wish I have time to sit down and eat, but .. nah ... I give it 3 stars since this has got to be one of the smallest souvenir shop (for a Hard Rock Cafe) I have gone to. Although the employees were nice, the variety was nothing impressive at all. Then again, all I wanted was a t-shirt. The decor is just like any other hard rock cafe.... i did enjoy seeing Steve Tyler's outfit in one of his concert and I enjoy the spiral stairs by the entrance :)

Went to the HRC in Denver as it is a place we go to when we travel. Nothing spectacular about the food, however the service was awesome! Mia was our waiter and she did a great job in everything you would expect a client facing person to do. Friendly, courteous, talk with a smile, suggest items, talk about the establishment and then barter on Pins.... She deserves a huge thumbs up. As I said, the food is still the same, average at best but the atmosphere at this HRC was great and the upstairs is three times the size as downstairs. Great memorabilia at this HRC as well!! Got my pins (now over 140 from all over the world) in my Wood Cherry case. Good place to hang out with friends.

Every HRC I've been in has been good. Right on the 16th Street Mall and easy to find. Not on the menu, but my favorite, is the BLT with extra bacon. How many Hurricane glasses do I have now?

We were meeting another family to check out the lights and festive activities. Worried a Friday night may be busy, I tried open table. Nope? Not working with them? So I called and made a reservation. Host was friendly and said both floors would be open and it shouldn't be a problem. Great! We arrived after first grabbing a drink at packed Rock Bottom. We were told our table was ready for us. I was hoping for the empty stage on the first floor. We were put upstairs sandwiched between the wall separating a room with views of the Ped Mall and the railing looking over the baloney. I told them this was pretty tight for 8 of us, and how about the window tables since the room was empty. We were told no, there was no wait staff? (it's behind the wall, can't they walk 8 feet? ) being a waiter in my youth we swapped tables in different sections all the time. Sorry, there is a 30 top coming in an hour. Ok? This place was dead. Friday night? So make us happy. I told the guy it's tight back in this corner. His reply.. ("you have a great server here?) so your other servers suck? Oh... And he told us we had Stevie Nicks on the tv.? Great! Our 6,7,8,9 year olds will love that. We stayed for our friends sake. Burgers were ok? With the current rage with burgers and their inflated prices, I expected heaven. Again ok. Fries were good. 4 adult burgers 4 kids meals and I round of beers $120.00 Another family with kids came and they shoved them next to us? Still 70% empty? Ok now I get it. Hide familys with kids. The server was good, but 1 1/2 hours later we left. The place was still empty.. Oh that 30 top? Never showed, but there were now a handful of table occupied that weren't a group. The stage on the main floor was still empty as well Feeling a little pissed off as we left. We put it behind us and enjoyed downtown. Will I go back? No. If The Hard Rock Cafe can't accommodate a customers request of a better table when the restaurant is empty.......??? Look for a new tenant soon, because you lost 8 people who had great memories of The Hard Rock Cafe in NY, London, etc. We live here. Imagine if we were visiting? My recomendation....eat at Rock Bottom and then walk to the Hard Rock. Wander thru the empty restaurant and check out their paraphernalia. Long live Rock.......don't eat at the hard rock

I was here for a Yelp event a few weeks ago and decided to come back to check out the regular menu. Color me unimpressed. Yes, its a Hard Rock Cafe, yes its a chain, yes it expensive, etc. Regardless, I am not a fan of frozen food that I can buy from King Suppers. Rather then comment on the restaurant, this one is like all other Hard Rocks in the country, I would rather comment on the service. I am usually a good tipper, but I really dislike when waitresses try to sneak in "hidden fees". In this instance, I asked for half onion rings, half french fries rather then 100% french fries on the side. When the bill came, the lady charged me a $5.00 Onion Ring Side fee. I understand you are in the service industry and people are usually not nice, but give me a break. Don't sneak in fees in hopes to get a bigger tip. It will be better to be honest and truthful rather then trying to be a sneak to raise the bill. Anyway, I didn't complain at the time. Life is too short for that, its just unfortunate and left a bad taste in my mouth.

It was my first ever experience at a Hard Rock. I ordered an alcoholic lemonade for the glass that was larger than a pint. I ordered a legendary burger, because of the name. I ordered medium and it came out well. Oh well. It was an okay experience, but I probably won't come again.

One of My chicken tenders was covered in hair, they said they would bring me another order of them but those never came. The twisted Mac and cheese was dry, flavorless and a kid sized portion. Pulled pork sandwich was dry as fuck! Overall bad experience and will most likely not return EVER!! FOOOOOREVErrrr FOOOOOOREVERRR FOOOOOOREVERRRRR..... You suck hardrockdenver!

Goddess and Hayli were AMAZING. We felt so welcomed and appreciated for our visit to the Denver Hard Rock Cafe. We travel extensively and collect HRC T - shirts for our daughter....This by far was a great experience to remember. Keep up the E.P.I.C. work ladies ... You make the difference!

I visited the gift shop before and had a great experience. So on another day I decided to try the restaurant. My husband and I were seated and the then the waitress came to the table, once I ordered a drink she snapped at me to see my I.D. instead of asking nicely. I was surprised by her rudeness. Once we had our drinks we didn't see her again till we were about done with our food. She very clearly ignored us, as she would walk past our table several times never asking if we were ok or needed anything. We were never rude so we were baffled by the treatment. We like the atmosphere and the food was great but we would never let that lady serve us again. Horrible experience.

I've been to quite a few Hard Rock Cafes and they are usually okay. We decided to try this one for dinner and was immediately seated. But then we sat at our table for 10 minutes and watched three other tables be seated and waited on but no one came to our table. When a waiter was helping the table beside us we tried to flag him over but he never looked our way and kept on going. We decided to leave and on the way out we saw the gentleman that seated us and explained that we hadn't been helped but other tables sat after us had been. He had nothing to say, so we walked out. I can understand if food is slow because it's busy but to not even get drinks within 10 minutes of sitting down is a bit ridiculous.

Had a $50 gift card for this place, or I would never consider going here. Took my daughter out to lunch, we got an appetizer (wings), two salads, and 2 sodas. Total $52. Then a $10 tip on top of that, and then $4 for parking. The $16 I spent in addition to the $50 gift card was not even worth it. The chopped salad is so finely chopped that you should eat it with a spoon. It's like salad soup, with only a few small pieces of chicken. Her salmon ceasar salad was OK, but for $20, definitely nothing special. As for the atmosphere, they played 3 Katy Perry songs in a row. I only know this because they play the accompanying video to every song on about 10 TVs all around the place. So, if you like Katy Perry, that's a bonus, if not, tough shit. You can go have lunch for 2 people for $60 pretty much anywhere in Denver. This would be my last pick.

Came across this place for lunch and I don't think I will return. The place is currently under construction so the restaurant is only seating upstairs. It was my first time and I was not impressed with my meal. I ordered a cheeseburger which was $13 with avocado. They did not have thousand island which was kind of disappointing. I made sure I ordered my burger we'll done. My burger was average and it had no flavor, there was nothing special about it. What grossed me out is when I used the restroom you had to wait because the men were using the women's due to the renovations.

Yay another Hard Rock... Is there any reason to go unless you are out of town? So we were visiting Denver, had dinner at the Hard Rock. Here are some good things: Food is always the same, no matter where you go. Service is always friendly. Music is always kickin. Get the cup, and you don't have to go back :)

I see a lot of people saying this place was expensive. I agree but it is a Hard Rock Cafe so it will be expensive. I came here on a Sunday night and decided to eat here because they opened till 11pm. It was already getting late and a lot of restaurants were closed or were closing soon for the night. We were seated right away and our waiter came shortly. He was nice and helpful about what to choose. I ordered the Legendary 10oz. Burger ($13.95) and my brother ordered the Twisted Mac, Chicken & Cheese ($15.75). We didn't order any appetizers but I saw somebody at another table order the nachos. It looked pretty good. Our food came and I took pictures of them. The Legendary 10oz. Burger was pretty good and I finished it fast as well as the fries. I tried some of my brother's Twisted Mac, Chicken & Cheese and that was also good. I should have ordered more food but that's okay. I was still a little hungry The area where we sat was between the front door, bar, and what looked like a stage (or could be). They had an upstairs as well and multiple flat screen TVs around playing music videos which could be heard throughout the place. They also had rock stars' signed items hanging on the wall like Brian Bell's (I think that's his name from Weezer) shirt. There was a section in the front of the Hard Rock Cafe where they sold clothing and other stuff. Their hours: Sunday - Thursday 11am - 11pm Friday - Saturday 11am - 12am

I enjoy going to Hard Rock on 16th Street Mall to kill time sometimes because I enjoy the music and videos. Usually in the afternoon and I just get coffee and the molten chocolate cake, I enjoy the company of the daytime bartenders, my cake and videos. Tonight I decided after a long day of serving tables myself to wait out the rain on my way home by going to Hard Rock and having dinner. I walked in an about 9 pm asked about kitchen closing time, it is 12 midnight and proceeded to bar stool. After I got myself situated at bar I patiently waited service. The manager and main bartender I have seen before (long goatee, tall white guy probably 30) was showing manager a problem or issue with bar fridge, all this time there was another bartender in view not greeting me. After about 6 or so minutes bartender #1greats me with drink order, I ask for soda and a menu. 25 or so minutes later bartender #1 comes back to ask if I want anything. I will say there was some drunken drama going on next too me but that was even better reason to check up on me. I order NY Strip medium rare. Now the whole time after I ordered ( the manager, and both bartenders are back and forth trying to eliminate drinking drama guy and family) after about 20 minutes my steak comes out and the bartender says something to the effect of "please cut your steak open to see if it is cooked properly I do not think it is", I say it is ok , it is overcooked but I am not really picky but really hungry at this point. I eat it , (it is over cooked but tasty) I then lay my card down in plane sight cause I am tired and ready to go and bartender 2 can see it but doesn't react while talking to the people next to me about the other people (drunken drama) finally another 5 minutes later bartender #1 refills my drink (which he actually kept full) ask me how everything was and runs my card. This is ridiculous for a bartender with that coveted night position. I was so frustrated but I cannot complain, but by God after being Yelped myself I will Yelp out loud that evening crew is terrible at their jobs including the manager. Moral of the story if you want good service at the bar at Hard Rock Cafe 16th Street Mall Denver go during the afternoons when the attentive young ladies are running things!

I'd never, ever, ever go here on my own. But sometimes, you have to take one for the team when you have visitors who are middlebrow. Anyway, the service was average at best even though it was just opening. To their credit, the manager seemed to come through at one point and fill drinks. Mostly, I thought it was a bit too noisy, the food was a bit too overpriced for what it was. Still it tasted okay. Also, it's worth noting that they have gluten-free buns as an option for burgers/chicken sandwiches. Again, it's only a place you'd go with tourists to the city and if you can steer them somewhere decidedly less touristy, that'd be preferable. If you do get stuck eating here, at least you'll know the food isn't too bad. It won't change your life, but it won't ruin it either.

I was most recently here for an event combined with Opening night of American Idiot in Denver. I've come not to expect much from Hard Rock food as that isn't really why you go there. The food that they had out was even worse than what I remember getting however, that isn't really why you should go there. Noticing a trend? There was very enjoyable live music provided by Bop Skizzum. The cast and crew of American Idiot was very approachable and fun to talk to. My GF and I managed to grab great seats where we were near the bar and could band and people watch. I enjoyed wandering around looking at all the great Rock & Roll memorabilia however, that was the highlight of the Hard Rock experience. The bar area was tiny and we had to line up several layers deep to gain access and the snack bar had awful food (back to the trend). Now, I can't really complain because we were at a free event but, I just want more for my dining experience than a mediocre $15 hamburger in a hip environment.

Really good lunch menu and well priced, but service was REALLY slow, to the point that my friend was late to work a few minutes from our lunch break. If you're going to be a player in the downtown lunch market, you HAVE to be quick in getting people out in about 40 minutes. other than that, the food was super yummy and the lunch menu is priced at $10 which is great for HRC!

I have been at several hard rocks, but for some odd reason I never had the urge to eat at one... I do have to say that they are delicious! The food is delicious, and the steak fries were perfectly cooked, which is really rare for any food restraunt. I would eat there again, love how they informed you about the memorabilia too! Fun environment!

Classic Americana. Over-sized mega-gaudy portions of fried cheesy bar classics. You know what you are getting into with this brand when you walk in the door. For this location specifically, the service was solid, the gear on the wall was cool to check out, and much of the music was good. I know you miss your old Iron Maiden videos...

I've been to a few other hard rock cafe locations and generally liked the food, the one in Denver is just awful though. We started off with drinks, I got a sangria and it was the worst sangria I have ever had in my life. It tasted like watered down white wine and it was so disappointing, especially since I spent $8 on it! We then got bruschetta which was actually really good and a generous size. I got a veggie burger and it was hands down the worst veggie burger I have ever had. The patty was crumbly and dry so it was extremely messy to eat, and the veggies they put on top of it were just bizarre so it didn't even taste good. I ended up only eating about half which is a huge waste, especially when I paid $15 for it! My boyfriend also didn't like his food either. Our server was extremely inattentive, he never cracked a smile or much less came back to our table to ask if everything was okay. Every time he'd drop something off at our table he would set it down on the corner of the table and leave. Also, he never even brought us waters!! I was extremely disappointed for such an expensive meal on NYE. I will never be going back there!

Ok so i went here twice in the week as well as i really like food and drinks the first time i went here. I sat at the bar both the days.. The bar tender(with beard) sorry don't remember his name but he was really good. He made sure that we are comfortable and got what we needed. Specially when the whole place was packed(valentines day) with customers he was taking good care of everyone. Really good appetizers and the drinks were really good and unbelievable prices.

I am not what you would call a Hard Rock Connoisseur, some of the other customers I have met here have attempted to go to every one imaginable and then like to discuss them. Me, I wandered in because I knew someone who worked there and wanted to say hello. While it took five trips to finally see my friend, those four other trips here were fantastic. This place is huge and can be accessed from either street or top level of 16th street walking mall. Bathrooms were upstairs from the bar and very clean. This can be a tricky bar for a single girl to sit at alone. The bartenders are the most amazing piece of this business, and they don't hesitate to step in when they see the waters getting rocky (Johnny is the best ever). The anti-cobb salad is my favorite selection here, and probably the healthiest choice on the menu.

They let you request music videos. And they have Phish!! I'm a fan. The food is good, and the servers are fun! I've been here twice now and it's been an alright time. I don't know if I would recommend this place to someone visiting from out of town, or even anyone who lives here. But if you find yourself on the mall and need a beer, or a bite to eat, it's not bad at all. And if you're really needing to see the 1 Phish video from 1990 something...this is your place (or youtube I suppose!)

It's a Hard Rock Cafe. Rock and Roll playing, the decor paying homage to rockstars, and the basic food options. It's a nice place to chill with friends, which is exactly what I was doing. Could have used a little more attention to ensure glasses were full and all that.

What better way to enter the 200s than with a review of the Hard Rock Cafe in Denver. I walking into this place and felt like a total Rock Star! I could hear Kid Rock's Cowboy song playing in my head. They sat us in a booth near Stevie Nick's memorabilia. We ordered some burgers and tried one of the Virgin Drinks (my BBF is going to AA). The burgers were amazing, very juice and flavorful. The Berrilicious drink we ordered was great too plus we got to keep the glass it came in. The service was great our server "Brad" was great! Even got us to sign up for the Hard Rock All Access Card and now we cant wait to go to the one in San Francisco plus the one in Vegas.

This was my first time at a HRC...ever! And...I can tell you, it would probably be my last. I'm not a fan of the loud music. Especially because the kind of music they play here is definitely not my type of music. Also, the food wasn't all that great. I loved that we got to have our drinks in those super cool cups. Also, the girls in there were sooooo tatted up that it took away their femininity :(

My hubby and I always go to the Hard Rock Café's in the cities we go to. Yes, very touristy of us. But they usually have a nice bar to go to. We wanted a beer and decided that Hard Rock was as good as any. Plus we needed to get our shot glass from the Denver café. :) The place was pretty dead. It was during the day, during the work week, but yikes. There was nothing special about this place. It is what it is like it is what it is everywhere else. Memorabilia. Ok food. Ok service. Ok prices. Nothing to write home about. The bartender was cool, but I think she was probably bored since there was no one in there. We had one drink, got our shot glass at the store, and left.

I was reluctant to come here after the other reviews, but it was for a birthday. It was a Saturday afternoon about 3 pm, and the place was pretty crowded. Still, our server, Kelly, was right there and brought us water immediately. We ordered drinks and I had a dirty martini. I don't know if it was the olives, but it had an odd taste. The server offered to replace it with something else, but it wasn't that bad. She took it off the bill without me having to ask. I had the honey mustard chicken and ham sandwich, which was very good, along with fries. My companions had a cobb salad which was huge and a burger, also huge. The server was attentive and cleared our plates quickly. When she found out it was a birthday, she brought out a lava cake, also on the house. It is a little noisy with the music videos going, but you can still have a conversation at the table. The food is a little pricey, but it IS on the 16th Street Mall, so you have to allow for that. All in all, a good experience and our friend had a nice birthday meal.

We had just strolled out of a comedy show at the Paramount Theater across the street. As a huge fan of music, I have wanted to check out the Hard Rock ever since it opened and after all these years, I still hadn't made it here for a meal. We stood outside for a minute and debated on whether or not we wanted to eat over priced burgers and came to the realization that everything in downtown Denver is over priced. So we walked in and got a booth. From a dress worn by Stevie Knicks, to a guitar signed by Bush, a guitar from Tom Petty, a shirt worn by Eddie Vedder and a few more trinkets from rock n' roll history, it was pretty cool. However, I've been to Hard Rock Cafes in other cities around the country and by far, this one was pretty lame. Didn't seem like they had a whole lot of stuff compared to the other chain locations. The service was so-so. For around 9:30pm on a Sunday night, it was pretty dead. I would have expected quicker service for how slow the restaurant was. We waited a long time while the waiter we had tried to pawn us off on somebody else. Apparently his shift was over and we waited for a long time for our "new" server to come take our order. I ordered the chicken club and my boyfriend got the SOB burger. Again, for how dead this place was, the food took a little longer than I would expect, but it wasn't too bad. When our food arrived, my mouth watered. It smelled and looked tasty. My fries were nice and crispy, the chicken was tender, the bacon was chewy, the bread wasn't over toasted... it was nice. However I did ask for a little extra mayo. Yes, I LOVE mayonnaise, I will admit it. There must be something wrong with me... lol. However they drowned this poor chicken in mayo. When I got to the other half of my sandwich, the bread was soggy from how much mayo they put on this sandwich that even I as a mayonnaise lover was a bit turned off by it! I also noted that there was absolutely no avocado on my sandwich. I was pretty unhappy. I LOVE avocado and it was one of the reasons I picked the chicken club sandwich. Our waitress came back to the table to check on us and I mentioned the avocado. She said, "oh yeah, we're out of avocado". Wouldn't that be an important detail to tell somebody when they're ordering their food? She asked me if I wanted something else, I told her not to worry about it. A few minutes later, the manager came by the table. I mentioned the avocado and he said the waitress should have known better as they've been out of avocados all day. He comped my meal... sweet! Free food always tastes just a little sweeter. My boyfriend told me that his burger was so-so. It tasted nothing like chipotle puree' as stated in the menu description and it was over cooked. He asked for medium and there was no pink to be found in that burger. He did say that regardless of the way the kitchen failed to deliver, it still did taste good. It wasn't worth the $14 menu price, that's for sure! Overall, this place isn't so great. The food wasn't horrible, but it wasn't spectacular either. It was WAY over priced. The service was half assed but the manager saved the day by comping my incomplete meal. It still isn't worth more than 2 or even 3 stars. Giving this place a 3 star rating would make it A-OK and it really wasn't. I picked a strong 2 stars and I stand by my rating. I've definitely experienced better.

I enjoy going to different Hard Rock Cafe's throughout the country, mainly to see the different music memorabilia that makes each Hard Rock a little different. There are aspects that make these establishments all the same. For instance, it is very expensive for what you get. A friend and I ordered a nacho appetizer, and shared the Twisted Mac and Cheese. Plus we had two cocktails. Our bill ended up being close to $50 when we were sharing everything. This just seems a little steep to me considering the chicken on the Mac and Cheese was still a little pink and the cocktails were not strong AT ALL! The server was really friendly and seemed quite "on it" the whole time we were there. I will give it 3 stars based on service and the fun atmosphere, but if you are going to spend over $20 per person, you kind of expect a little more from the food. Friday and Saturday nights I would recommend making a reservation. When we were there, there were various big birthday parties going on that took up a lot of space in the restaurant.

Summer classes came and went and after the end of a booorrrring Anthropology class, I needed to celebrate. My friend and I ( who is new to Denver) wanted to check out 16th street mall area and we stumbled across the Hard Rock Cafe. Because she had never been there, and I hadn't been in ages, we decided to go :) We sat on the patio, people watched, sipped on long island iced teas, nibbled on salad and enjoyed the nice, slightly cloudy, afternoon. I ordered the haystack salad, full of goodness and ingredients :) we both enjoyed it and ate almost every single bite! The service was good, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. The only downside? the prices! sheesh. being the poor college student i am, i can only afford to come here on special occasions. other than that, Hard Rock, you're a-ok in my book :)

Ok, so I take back what I said about the Denver Hard Rock not having any cool memorabilia. Apparently for the next 2 months of 2008, they will display Jimi Hendrix's guitar. So I'm sorry for saying that you didn't have any memorabilia worth looking at. Doesn't mean that I'll be back to the establishment, but oh well. I just thought I'd mention the Hendrix experience.

The food is good. The atmosphere is fun. Yes it can be pricey but the atmosphere makes it worth it and you get more than enough to eat. I've been to better Hard Rock Cafe's but the layout at this Denver location is much better and more wide open than others. We have some pretty spectacular memorabilia at this location. You can't go wrong with the burgers, twisted mac and cheese or a chocolate milkshake.

First time here for lunch. Cool atmosphere of course but the food is overpriced. $14 burgers? Really?? And the bar area smelled like stale beer. Overall if you ignore the prices it's pretty good. And there's nothing quite like it.

  • Jeff P.

Yes it is expensive. You will need to get past that if you want to eat here. A good meal is going to cost you around $20 to $30+ per person not including tip. The food is not horrible, but not the best I ever had. I had the New York Strip Steak and mashed Potatos ($22). I was told by the waitress that "medium" would be pink all the way through with a little blood...the Steak was closer to medium-well IMO (light pink at the center). It still wasnt awful, but if you like steak medium-rare (which is what I wanted...she told me to order it medium) order it rare instead as they definitely tend to err on the side of cooked. My steak came with a dinner salad (pretty good). I had the nachos as an appetizer ($10). They were pretty good, not great. The food was a little bit overpriced for the quality, but if you come here you are probably not coming for the food anyway. This is a theme restaurant, like a really good version of Chili's or Bennigans. The service was good if you like being doted on...personally I find it annoying (I dont need the wait staff to ask me how things are every five minutes), but I know a lot of people consider that to be good service. I liked the atmosphere. We were there on a 'battle of the bands" night so there was live music. The stage and equipment make for great sound. There is a dining area directly in front of the stage, and one upstairs along the balcony if it gets too loud for your taste. We were in the lower dining area in front of the stage and it did get pretty loud. Overall, I had a good experience and am glad I came. I doubt I will be back often though...for the price, there are much better restaurants in Denver. Maggianos (less than half a block away) comes to mind. This is the kind of place I might take out-of-state family members to though.

Expensive and not good. If you are visiting Denver, don't go here. They don't even have a single local beer on tab. Why?

Greasy, Greasy, Greasy. We ordered a sampler platter around 9 pm. I think the oil was old because all the items tasted the same, and they were actually dripping. The restaurant was nearly empty, and I suspect it is the food quality. The kids enjoyed their juice drinks served in souvenir cups.

Went the Hard Rock in Denver with my kids. We were just out for a leisurely stroll at the 16th St. Mall. Some of my kids had never been in a Hard Rock Cafe so we went in for appetizers and soda. We ordered the big plate of samplers. It was alright. It was about the same quality you might expect from a Chili's or a TGIF's. The service was average. As far as Hard Rock decor? It was below what I expected. The place seems pretty small to me. We went upstairs and looked around, but nothing really jumped out. I'm a music fanatic. So, there were some cool things. But it was less impressive than other Hard Rock Cafe's I've visited (Chicago, San Antonio & New Orleans).

Not Impressed! For Hard Rock I expected more. Prices for food and beverage were high. Food was just A-ok, For the price I expected better quality of food. The best part is that we got to pick videos to play that was cool and also to look at the memorabilia. Overall I probable wouldn't go back.

By far one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had: Firstly, we made a reservation two weeks in advance for a party of 13. My co-worker called roughly 20 minutes before our lunch reservation to confirm. As we arrived, the TWO hostesses failed to greet us and we proceeded to ask them if our table for our party was ready. She then told us that she had just sat a 15 top at our reserved table...not our party though. She laughed it off and told us they could 'stick us upstairs, I guess'. Okay, fine...no harm done, right? Secondly, as we waited not too long for a table to be set up the hostess made sure to tell us that we were not allowed to sit down until at least 1/2 of our party arrived. Um...we are all standing here like fools at this point, thanks for pointing out your policy so rudely. Thirdly, the bus boy/server comes down stairs and points at us and goes, 'yeah, come on.' As our new employee noted, "Wow, sorry to ruin your day buddy". And finally (most importantly), The food and service was terrible. Our waitress forgot or messed up roughly 1/3 of our orders, our glasses were empty the entire meal until a food runner finally brought our food and we had to stop her to get something to drink. And the food was awful. How do you mess up burgers and mac and cheese? So terrible. It was like a teenage playground in there. Is there a manager babysitting these kids?? Yikes.

We were here from out of town. Met some friends. No wait for a table of 7. Our waiter was awesome! Great drinks and food.

I love HRC...I visit everyone I come across and I am never disappointed. I had the red-white-and blue burger and it was delicious. Service was great (I sat at the bar) and had a couple drafts of Colorado's finest craft brews.

Good place to meet for a drink or two before heading to a festival, movie/concert in the park, museum, etc. downtown. I got there at noon on the Saturday during PRIDE, expecting the place to be packed. It wasn't. I easily found a stool at the bar and the friends easily found me. Not much as far as a red wine selection, just merlot, cab and a varietal, but this is not a wine bar. I went with the varietal because of the name (Menage a tois) and it was not bad. They had lots of beer on tap, including some locals like Shock Top. On the downside, you have to hike up the stairs or take the elevator to get to the bathrooms on the second floor. And, THAT is where all the people are. Holy Cow! For being as chill and quiet as it was downstairs, walking into the loud, screaming child infested dining room upstairs was a bit of a shock. I do not think I will be dining up there. If I come back for grub, I will opt for downstairs or the bar. Overall, it's just like any other hard rock cafe. Yes, the drinks and food are overpriced, but there are cool music videos on the tvs (not sports, yay!), lots of cool music memorabilia all around and just has a comfy feel to it. I will definitely be back.

Went here for "get the heck out of the office for a while" lunch today with a co-worker. Went around 12:30 thinking the lunch rush should be settling down. Seated with a short wait. When our server came over to the table, another 10 min after we sat down she said they were a little understaffed today and apologized for the delay, no big. We both were ready to order right then, so we did. Food came out pretty quick. I had the pulled pork sandwich ( I really wanted the Mac N cheese but that was $15.00!!!- For noodles with cheese...what the...) so I went with the $10 pork in a bun. Lacking BBQ sauce, but other than that the meal was satisfactory. The only down side was the wait to pay the check... we even had our debit cards out on the table as a hint.... Food was not terrible, place is entertaining enough, prices are kind of redonk. Might go back, but maybe next time the company will pay and I can try that Mac n cheese! :-)

2.5 or so. Lunch service w/rookie in training. Good. Early dinner service w/trained waiter. Not so good. Interesting. Lunch service was good (3 stars). She was efficient, timely, upbeat. We were waiting for relatives to arrive from delayed flights. Hubby & I shared a "haystack" salad. All things considered (the Hard Rock Cafe hype et al), we enjoyed our salad & our service. Flash forward to finally getting to our relatives arriving on time (a surprise was in the making that I won't go into). We were seated for our early dinner, then things sort of slowwwwed down. Way down. Our waiter would disappear for a while then exuberantly show up to finally take our order. Then we'd wait some more & lo! finally the food appeared. Relatives liked what they ordered, I did not like my meal. Hubby's was ok. Not surprising for a Hard Rock Cafe. After we received our food, service all but disappeared. More interested in the 21 year old & her birthday I guess. After we were done with our meals & waiting....waiting (must have been that birthday party), our waiter appeared yet again exuberantly. Well, points for exuberance. If it wasn't for our particular plan of action, we would have ate elsewhere.

Looking for a food review? You've got to be kidding. Customers visit HRC due to its memorabilia. As always, food quality is mediocre, HRC standard.

My family and I recently went to the Hard Rock Cafe for dinner. Unfortunately all of our meals were pretty bad. I had a chef salad and the lettuce and meat tasted really old. It's pretty hard to reck a salad but they did. My husband's ribs tasted off as well, like they had been prepared, heated, and reheated again and again. The rock music atmosphere is nice, but ultimately you need to be able to eat a decent meal. I'd pass.

We stopped here after a tax protest at the Capitol. I was protesting to pay more taxes because, well, I'm a giver. Anyway, my loud chants lead to a parched throat, so we headed to the Hard Rock. We enter the place, and like a punch in the face, the music blasts us back out the door. We re-enter. At first, I thought the Hostess was giving us some attitude by screaming 'WALK THIS WAY . . . TALK THIS WAY". Then, I realized Aerosmith was playing on the stereo. Steven Tyler . . . Angry Hostess . . . Same difference. Making a long story longer, we ordered three burgers and six beers. Total bill was over $80. Usually, if I'm paying that much for beers, it comes with a lap dance. No luck here at the Hard Rock. Final comment: Hard Rock's food is pretty good and the beers are . . . uhh . . . cold. But the prices are steep, and in these difficult times, I will give my money to a good cause. Like the "Help the Yelp Bail Bond Fund".

eeek. Not that I have anything against the Hard Rock Cafe chain, but I feel like I have been to soooo many. I think it's the traveling tour group restaurant of choice, and between french club and dance team in high school I may have visited every single one. I ended up in the Hard Rock in Denver after my traveling companion and I both decided we wanted "everything" for dinner. It was bustling. We were seated in a room upstairs. After a half hour or so, the room cleared out, and I guess they stopped seating people upstairs, because we were the only ones upstairs for the rest of the night. It. Was. Awesome. Our server was really sweet and helpful and smart. I think her name was Tina. And the food was...really good. I didn't expect that salmon, at a hard rock cafe, in the middle of denver, would be so good.

I've been here a number of times over the years and it's an alright place. I most recently had an angus burger from here, but needless to say I did not find it all that tremendous. Not to say that the burger wasn't tasty, but it appeared to me that the meat was a 'pre-packaged' patty (possibly frozen). I could be wrong about the frozen part, but the patty seemed too dense and compact and that part wasn't appetizing. There's probably some better eats from here, but that was my most recent experience.

When somebody says this place is expensive, they ain't lying. I think the bartender charged me almost six bucks for a glass of Bud. He had a bad attitude on top of it. And the place is just soooo phony it made me grind my teeth. You can depend on a corporate food chain to suck the life out of rock & roll. Never again.

Last night my daughter and I attended a private wine tasting at the Hard Rock Cafe and the finger food was fantastic and it was great to taste their specialty Hard Rock line of wine blends. The staff was very friendly and engaging and of course the music and memorabilia was top notch

The Hard Rock here in itself is great, has lots of cool memorabilia and T-shirts. Never mind the fact it is in the 16th Street Mall which is ok but not amazing. Anyway if you like the food and want a T-shirt to say you were in Denver and took in the attractions this restaurant is fine to add to that experience.

Hard Rock is always a guarantee for teen tribe fun as a venue, but we were reticent to bring a hungry pack of volleyball tourney teen athletes after a long day of play for fear the food would take forever...esp for 23 of us w/coaches/parents and deciding against a prix fixe in favor of the full open menu... Voila...solution...we had the girls check out the menu online (some on their phones at the last minute) and tell us what they wanted to order, so when we arrived I handed the hostess our choices and the service staff was able to put it in pronto and just focus on beverages in our nook upstairs! (also decided to make it easy and order lemonade across the board, exc for adults) Ambience always fairly loud there, but entrees were pretty good for a chain (salmon, chicken, burgers, selections were all over the board w/our group) so we were able to relax, shoot the breeze, and keep it simple. Order came very fast w/no errors. (a big woohoo for a group that large) Thanks to John/coordinating from afar w/us for initial availability on reservations inbound from SF too... I bit into a chicken wing and when my jaw closed to start chewing ..I felt the disgusting, unforgettable feeling of hair in my mouth. I know you might think- oh okay so the cook or server accidentally dropped one piece of hair into my meal. Nope, I pulled the chicken wing out and saw that under the thick delicious hot sauce, the chicken wing was covered in hair! I almost threw up. After some research I came to find out that chickens have hair on their legs, and if the chicken isn't cleaned properly, this hair will make it onto your plate and you will bite into a hairy hairy chicken. All previous experiences at the Hard Rock Cafe were sub-par, so this dining experience just sank the entire boat. Gross, ew, disgusting.

Bah! I get so frustrated when I go to the Hard Rock. Yes, their food is pretty good. Yeah, they have a creative drink menu. But I seriously have a hard time spending $70 for one drink, two beers, and three shots. They've got pretty good music, they play some obscure stuff accompanied by videos which is pretty neat. But it all comes back to my wallet. Lunch - without alcohol - was $22 after tip. Guess I've had worse, but nothing there is really worth its cost. I feel like I pay just for the privilege of sitting amongst music memorabilia, and to me it's just not worth it. Oh yeah, and they won't let you use their restroom unless you buy something. That's so lame.

I know to expect overpriced food and drinks when I go to Hard Rock. However, when I order my favorite meal on their menu, I don't think it's too much to expect it to be close to the same meal at other locations. I love the Twisted Mac and Cheese. When I ordered it at Denver it was bland with very little flavor. It's supposed to have a bit of a kick with red peppers and garlic:( The waitress was overly pushy. Everyone in my group ordered at least one drink, we split appetizers, all had entrees and dessert. However, she kept trying to push more food and drinks on us. She clearly didn't pick up on our cues. There were plenty of open tables (we were there on a Thursday night) but it felt like she was rushing us to go.

This place gets two stars...one for simply being open and the second for great service from our waitress. Everything else that transpired, they missed out on scoring anything. The beers was warm, the fries were cold, and the burger not cooked to anything close as to my request. These guys miss on so many levels it's sad.

Was pretty good! Large portions, food was fresh, and the desserts were yummy! We were here with out of town family, and the little ones enjoyed the music. Older ones enjoyed music and memorabilia! Pulled pork sandwich was delicious -- HUGE amount of food. Loved the dessert "shooters," bigger than the average ones I've had elsewhere. Caramel cheesecake was GREAT!

I'm always game for a good burger and Hard Rock Cafe didn't disappoint! I had the BBQ Bacon Cheddar Burger and it was great. My only complaint about this place is when I went to order, the waiter asked, "Would you like fries, onion rings, or a little bit of both?" I said "A little bit of both." He didn't tell me there was a $3 up charge for that. I was disappointed; especially since I didn't even have room to eat the onion rings. Other than the slight deception, the service was fine. It was late afternoon on a Thursday so it wasn't crowded and we didn't have a wait. I'll go back if I'm ever in Denver again.

It's the Hard Rock. It's going to be overpriced. That being said, I didn't find anything wrong with this location. We were seated upstairs for lunch, right by a window overlooking 16th street- which was great for people watching. The server was friendly and attentive. I had a mini burger, which was fine. If you've been to other hard rocks, you know what to expect.

The ambiance is great, the food was yummy but I do feel as though it is a bit too pricey. That's why I'm only giving it 4 starts, because it feels as though you're paying for the name and the ambiance and that doesn't feel right to me.

Wow, A Hard Rock Cafe in Denver? Does this mean we are actually on the map? Wow, lets go inside. Okay, too bad any chain of this magnitude must have sold its soul to have...a chain of this magnitude. What you are going to find is not going to surprise you. Some guitars on the wall, "Psychedelic tie worn and signed by John Lennon," blah blah blah. Oh wait, what's this? Oooh, a "pair of blue high-heel stage shoes and a pair of white-framed prescription glasses with rainbow colors," once belonging to Sir Elton J--that's more like it. I once had a birthday party here in freshman year of high school, which was probably the peak of my appreciation for this kistched out sh-eet as well. Food is really not that tasty...hard rock is dead. The Hard Rock Cafe in Hong Kong kills this one : )

Awesome food. Awesome Atmosphere. Bad service on a Friday evening. took a long time to order anything. and the prices are crazy. $8 beer is Ridiculous even for downtown. and a $20 burger. i don't know if the food was that good.

Went to the Hard Rock Cafe with a few friends before a show....atmosphere was boring. We got seated in a corner booth and there was not one table upstairs. Their booths did not have padding and my friend was complaining it was hard on her bum. Got a Pomojito..was delicious. The food was okay...nothing to write home to mom about. I got the Cobb Salad and my friends got the fajitas...overall...okay experience. The manager did come out to ask how we were doing...we appreciated that extra touch of service.
